Meiko was on her way home. She was a bit upset nothing major happened. Business is slow for her. And her boyfriend is sooo busy while she's so lonely and eager to have his company. Not to mention she didnt get to encounter Niso as well. Not as Rin nor Lady Lavande. Not to mention she had to stalk a certain pink haired woman and find out her name, and she doesnt even have a single lead besides a photo. It has been a few weeks since her last Villanous outing that Niso had stopped, ever since then she was out and about as a civillian. How lame. She was starting to be impatient for Alaster, she wanted some orders, some Villain action, some blood.
She sighed just thinking about her urges. But as she walked home, her luck had possibly changed as she saw a UA student walking in the street. He had that eyesore school uniform. But, Meiko smiled as perhaps he could be of some use. So she approached him and tapped him on the shoulder
"Hey there. Are you one of those UA kiddies?" she asked trying to stay positive or neutral at best. Honestly she had no idea how to approach a kid at random

Nick had not intended to be out long. Just a quick trip to pick up some new toothpaste and deodorant followed by a stop at one of the many arcades in Tokyo to unwind. He carried the essentials in a small plastic bag, along with a cuddly pink bear he had won at the arcade and had yet to figure out what to do with. Maybe he would send it to his dear mother back in England. She was fond of soft toys, and it had been a little while since they had spoken personally and not through contacts.
He did not even realise he was being approached until he heard a voice he did not recognise and, even worse, felt the owner of the voice touch him. He froze on the spot, every muscle in his body becoming tense from the unwanted contact. His teeth briefly clenched.
He forced himself to relax again and turned to face the speaker, a young woman he definitely did not know. Her powers of observation were truly remarkable. Stupendous, even. Someone give the girl a Lifetime Achievement Award.
“Yes, I am,” he replied, doing his best to keep his voice calm and steady. “What of it?”

"Ah sweet!" she clapped once and then continued "Do tell. Are you one of those Hero Course students or are you one of those sloppy seconds at General Studies. Cuz, you see, I'm looking for a special student from the Hero Course"
The way she spoke, she made it sounds as if she was looking for Nick himself. But Meiko being the playful one, always playing bait then switch, did her best to lure the boy into a conversation, she tried to bait him to make him think as if she was looking for him, but in actuality
"Niso from the Hero Course. He has a Reanimation sorta Quirk. I need to find him"
Thats when she dropped the bomb that she wasnt interested in him, but his classmate. Niso stopped her from killing her prey. Then she met him again at the festival as a civillian and funny enough befriended him even. But still, she wants to end him. Maybe a potential classmate could help her. Maybe he'll know something. She doubted that the boy would talk and rat out another boy. But she had to try. She could bribe him maybe. Or force him. Or maybe the boy would be useless and wouldnt know a thing. Still, she had to try and see if he knew something and was bluffing or if he really was useless

Nick wondered why it was so bloody hard for some people to grasp when a person wanted to be left the hell alone. It showed in the fierce glare in his eyes, which only lessened slightly when the girl mentioned looking for, in her words, ‘a special student from the Hero Course’. Great, just great, so she was probably a nosy journalist or something, just what he needed, but there was also the alarming possibility that she were after him because of his connections and he was going to have to fight here –
Oh. Niso. Yes, he knew Niso. Did he ever. Niso had been one half of the opposing team during the bomb diffusion exercise. The victorious team. Just like that an ocean’s worth of salt was poured onto the wound, which had still not even begun to heal in the first place. He visibly cringed for a second and looked away from her.
“Yes, he makes corpses get up and walk around, or something.” And could command them to attack and in general be extreme nuisances, which he could personally attest to. “I don’t really know him beyond that.” Nor did he care to all that much after how the bomb exercise had turned out. “Sorry, but I can’t help you, whoever you are. You’ll have to find someone else.”
He began to walk off without even waiting for her to respond. He did not know this girl’s connection to his classmate, and he did not want to. He was in enough shit all on his own. That, and being reminded of his failure in the bomb exercise really increased his desire to go to bed.

Ah, so this boy was somewhat compliant. That was nice, but he didnt give her any mind blowing discovery. She knew plenty already, if not, she knew everything Nick said. So perhaps she should pry him for more info. But sadly before she gotten to do just that. The boy turned away and started walking away.
How annoying
So Meiko needed to do it again. Throw some bait and make him stay. She used her stalking and flirting skills here to determine what kind of person was this boy. And from her past experience,she guessed that this boy was some sort of an anti social person, judging by his tone of voice and his rush to get away from her. Meiko met a few guys that were like this boy
"Ah...such a shame...I thought for sure that you were in a Hero Course and that you'd have better observational skills. So I guess I mistook you for a Hero. You must have been one of those General Study students. Sorry then, my mistake, boy" Meiko said as the boy never stated being Niso's classmate or anything, just that he knew him from passing by. Meiko thought if she played dumb and indirectly insulted him and his skills that he'd might become angry and prove her wrong and tell her more info.
Either that or she'd have to try and bribe him

Nick paused in his steps. Her words did manage to worm their way under his skin and irritate him. How dare she assume he was in that pointless General Studies class, the class that’s existence he still did not understand the reason for. Did he not exude the confidence and aura of someone who was obviously on the path to something far greater than that?
A bubble of anger rose within him, but he told himself to take calming breaths. He could not let someone like her get to him even slightly and goad him into a reaction. She was no one. She certainly did not mean anything to him. She was just some random no-name who apparently had some kind of beef with one of his classmates that was absolutely no business of his whatsoever. Why she was almost acting like she wanted it to be his business too was beyond him.
So, instead of reacting with violence, he merely scoffed. “Which just goes to show what you know, which is nothing. It doesn’t matter that much. You will know me one day. The entire world will.”
One way or another. That he had silently promised the world long ago, and he was still determined to see that through with every fibre of his being. She would never be able to forget him, then.

He stopped, which meant he heard her words. Well, the fact that he stopped was a step in the right direction, he wasnt leaving which meant he would hear her out.
The boy spoke, but it wasnt what she wanted to hear. It was the typical 'Hah, shows what you know, I am the great bla bla and yadda yadda. The world will hear me', that sort of shtick that made Meiko roll her eyes and yawn.
"Listen, all I see is barking and no proof. You claim you'll be great and whatever. But all I see is a General Studies student. If you were a Hero you'd have keen observational skills and you'd be able to tell me what I want to hear. And you dont strike me as a loyal type. If you knew Niso, you'd tell me what I wanna hear so you'd be on your merry way. The fact you aint telling me is, because you havent interacted with the Hero Course students. Ok I get it. Sheesh, boy, no need to be shy. No shame." she messed around with Nick and poked and prodded him. Tried to goade him into being 'Aha, shows what you know. I know about people' and then tells her stuff
She then slightly changed the subject, just to mess with him more
"Or how about this? If you dont know Niso. Surely you can tell me about the school staff? Even if you're not a Hero Course student, you know the staff right? Like the janitor or the nurse and those kinda people"
Meiko asked, she had her reasons why she wanted to know this. Niso was for her revenge. But with the staff, she had her own devilish goals

Nick whirled around. His hand twitched, eager to slap this impudent, mouthy bitch back to whatever hole she crawled out of. He so very nearly did. Why he held back, he was not even sure himself. Perhaps she had not crossed that line enough just yet, but she was edging closer and closer with every word from her sewer of a mouth.
He grimaced. As much as his stubborn pride meant he did not want to give this girl the satisfaction of an answer, maybe if he did she would finally leave him the hell alone. That was all that really mattered to him.
“The nurse’s name is Sophie Sequoia,” he said at last. “I’ve never needed medical attention at school, so I’ve yet to meet her in person. Don’t know what she looks like.” As for the janitor, well, he was clueless there. “The janitor I don’t know at all. Never even see one. Can’t help you in that department.”
He turned away from her again. “That’s all I have for you. So can I leave and get on with my life in peace now?” He wondered about reporting this girl to the staff at Yuuei. Would such an action be hypocritical of him? Not in his mind. The Gifted Underground’s ultimate goal was just. This girl, though, he had no idea. She asked too many questions. That, and most importantly, she had pissed him off. She deserved some comeuppance for that.

Meiko rested her hand on her hips as she raised her brow and surprisingly got an answer. Honestly, she didnt expect it. Thinking carefully about her next move, she had to somehow win his trust now and stay on his good side. The fact that she got SOME info out of him was very unexpected and difficult to Meiko, so she had to treasure this little piece of info as if it was everything.
"Thank you." she smiled and tried her best not to provoke him or tease him.
"I guess that makes me owe you one now. Welp, okay. I'll go now as you wish. But...if you ever want an enemy of yours crushed without getting your hands dirty, you can call me~" she couldnt help it, she had to tease him, but this was on a more playful level rather then malicious
This nameless UA student. He sure was something. And that something was something akin to Meiko. But what? Lust for Violence? Lust? Villainy maybe? She didnt know but this boy was anything but heroic. Maybe thats what drew Meiko to him .... other then the school uniform. Speaking of which. That is something Meiko would like to touch on. If he didnt want to be bothered, then he needed to change that because he stuck out like a sore thumb. Sure she played dumb before when she asked him, but she did it with a reason, to not stick out, to be difference not appearance wise but personality wise. For a ditz, she was actually pretty smart or at the very least clever. She knew how to play dumb to throw out her target out of their game and underestimate her. Make them think she's a ditzy dumb valley girl, instead of a Villain. But she knew that this boy would do anything but listen to advice. Which was disapponting to Meiko
"Ah well, I will take my leave. If you need anything, just call lil ol' Rin....Thats me" she said as she smiled.
And then after that she started walking away

Nick had no idea what to make of this girl, blinking and staring. First she got up in his face and insulted him, now she thought he could use her help? To crush an enemy, no less. What the hell kind of group was this girl part of? Or was she just some random psychopath? He needed to get away from her not dragged into her mess, whatever kind of mess it was. He had enough messes of his own to deal with.
As if he would ever even need her help. That was not the point, though. If the staff found out he had leaked their names to a criminal then that was not exactly going to look good for him, was it? He was going to have to think of a way to spin this one to make himself look better. She threatened him, yes, that would work. This girl spoke of an allegiance, but Nick’s ultimate goal meant more to him than that, and staying at Yuuei was a part of it.
He did not doubt that the nurse and the rest of the staff would be able to deal with this girl, however. The Yuuei staff were all former vigilantes – well, except their damn principal, but that was a rant for another day – so they could more than handle themselves. This girl did not look much to him, even knowing she would have had a Quirk.
Then she spoke her name, and all his thoughts crashed.
Rin. Of course her name had to be that. Of bloody course. He could just not escape being reminded of Rin Kurama every single damn day of his life. It had reached the point where he could hardly stop thinking about her and he hated it.
“I’ll keep that in mind,” he managed to grumble out before walking away himself.
He had never wanted to sleep more.

Not much went on this thread. That doesn’t mean it was bad. Every story needs it’s down time.
-Meiko horny for villainy, sounds like a great start to me and my good ol’ friend, Lenny. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

-Damn, general studies are UA’s sloppy seconds. That’s the harshest insult I’ve ever heard. I dig it.
-Niso sounds pretty cool. I like his quirk from what was described in thread. It’d be one hell of a party trick. “Hey johnny is wasted, man. He might’ve drank too much. He’s unresponsive, not breathing, and none of us know CPR. Should we call the cops?” “Nah, nah, I’ll make his corpse dance once he’s gone, it’ll be dope.” “Ayyye” “Ayyye” *Parties hard* Idk why I typed all of that, what’s wrong with me. Probably not even how dude’s quirk works.
-Oh, I just realized, this is probably the interaction that caused Nick to be paranoid in his thread with Susumu.
-“You will know me one day. The entire world will.” For this is the story of how I became the number one King of the Hokages.
-If a stranger was like, “Geez, I guess you’re not good enough to know anything about this one student. Tell me about the staff instead.” I’d be like, “Bitch, is u villain or nah?” Clearly Nick and I are not on the same wavelength.
-Meiko is known as Rin? Probs an alias right? Not wanting her real name to be know to UA brats. Smart.
-Ah, Nick gave her the names of the UA teachers because they were all former vigilantes and could kick some serious ass. There was no need to hide it. Cute. Cool to see the trust between student and sensei.
-And of course he's triggered by Rin's alias being the same as good old class 1-A rep Rin.
