@hashimoto [break]
[attr="class","julienglass2scroll"] He'd received the message last night. It was from his class mate, Kazuma, extending him an invitation to attend a bout of training the following morning. Hashimoto sighed, he'd spent the last few hours studying and wasn't in the best mind frame for physical training, especially considering his grades were slowly slipping. Not enough to cause concern. But if it continued it could become a pattern which eventually saw to his expulsion. The reason for his gradual decline wasn't academic, in fact he'd prided himself on his ability to study and retain information. It was of a personal nature. Put simply Hashi was beginning to feel homesick.[break] [break] Unbeknownst to those around him, Hashi had spent the majority of his life in his Home Towns Rural District, isolated away from society and civilization. He attended a Country school which usually consolidated the scattered children into a place of learning but in comparison the surrounding students were almost overwhelming. There was constant noise whether it be from other attendees of UA Highschool or the pattering of feet up and down the tiled hallways. It was a stark contrast to the ambience of nature. Despite his mood he knew he needed to get his mind off of things and the best way was to engage in physical activity, pumping up endorphins and other mood inducing hormones. Hashimoto sent a simple reply: No problem. See you there in the morning. [break] As dawn approached the peak of the suns rays inched slowly over the horizon, giving the schools inhabitants an hour (perhaps two) of veiled darkness before light consumed the skies. Hashi spent the first forty five minutes preparing for the morning, starting the day off with a light snack to see him through until sunrise where his photosynthetic abilities would activate. The meal was nothing heavy, a slice of toast with mashed banana over its surface drizzled with a string of locally produced honey. The sweet initiation to the day perked his spirits up from last nights heavy feelings. As per Kazumas request he'd change into his gym clothing before pulling an over layer of track pants and a jacket, keeping the cold bite of the morning off his skin.[break] [break] With half a piece of breakfast still hanging from his mouth he closed his dorm room door behind him with a bag slung over his shoulder, making his way to one of the further fields of the School. ポ ス ト を 開 始 Following a night of banter, Kazuma had coordinated plans with Hideki and Sekka to have an informal sparring match for the sake of personal growth and development. He and Sekka tried to persuade money bags himself, Takara, to join them as well but they weren't entirely successful in doing such. While he agreed to spectate and later join if he saw them "worthy", whatever that meant, the egotistical nincompoop, to Kazuma at least, persisted in his efforts to not participate with those "below him". It made no difference, to Kazuma at the end, he simply wished to present discourse to perhaps knock some sense into the lad and make him realize his shit did stink just as all the other's did. Thus, after a night's rest and his morning ritual and an obscene amount of bamboo devoured, he'd tap his little paws all over his cellular device before hitting send on the message. "LET'S GOOOOO!!!! Meet at the forest and field training grounds." Followed by an obscene amount of obnoxious custom emojis. He headed out into the forest and field training grounds where they'd have some terrain and open space to utilize and be free from causing any unnecessary damages to school architectures. It was nothing too crazy, but it was just what they'd need to experiment their physical prowess amongst one another. In a friendly nature, of course. As he approached the field, the tiny panda plopped his rear upon a tree stump and continued on with his bamboo and an occasional drink of water from his flask, which was half his size, in wait for his classmates. There he'd sit freely kicking his feet until they showed up. エンドポスト

| ◀ | Cold as ice, soft as snow ❆ "Alright, I need to go train now. It was nice talking to you, dad. Alright, take care. Love you too, dad. Okay, bye!"
Sekka was a girl who would usually wake up at the crack of dawn to begin her training and exercise routines. Nothing would usually get in the way of that, and if multiple students were to meet up early in the morning to train together, Sekka would usually be the first on the scene. However, this morning, the girl would receive a call from her father. Despite being a workaholic and often not having much time for his family, the man still wanted to make time to check in on his daughter. With how often the girl worried for her dad, she would make sure to remind him not to overexert himself at work. The last thing she wanted was something happening to him while she was away at school. Everything else could wait. To Sekka, family came first.
Of course, her father did not wish to hold up the girl too long, knowing how much she valued her morning routine. So after a decently lengthy conversation, it was time to go head out. Having already changed into her gym clothes, Sekka tied her hair back in a ponytail, grabbed one of her practice staves, and headed out her dorm room...
...Only to nearly step on a roomba on her way out. A roomba that was apparently equipped with a water pistol.
...Really?
Sighing and shaking her head, Sekka ignored the roomba, making her way to where the others were. Upon seeing the others, Sekka would greet them with a simple wave. "Hey. Sorry to keep you waiting." Even though with how early she headed out, there was no way they would have been waiting for longer than five minutes. However, by Sekka's standards, this was inexcusably late. Still, the girl was not going to make excuses or bother explaining why she was five minutes late and not an hour or so early. They were either okay with it, or they weren't. And right now, Sekka didn't care either way. She was just here to train.
"Alright." As usual, Sekka's tone was expressionless as she spoke, her face like an unmoving mask. Though by this point, anyone who was even vaguely acquainted with the girl could tell that she was not very expressive of her passions or emotions. "I'm ready to get started whenever you are." With her bō staff in hand, Sekka was ready to begin. |

[attr="class","julienglass2scroll"] The dorm room hallways were quiet, a testament to how early it was. That's not to say that every individual was still in bed though, as the large majority of students who were enrolled in the Heroic Schooling Program were invested in their studies both academic and physical. Upon a quick inspection Hideki could see mellow yellow lighting peering from beneath students doors. Despite how early it was it seemed there were a few who had woken before him, either to get a fresh start on their studies or still revising from last nights session. That was something Hideki struggled with. Due to the nature of his mutation he often relied on sunlight to supplement his energy reserves. In its absence he was prone to fatigue, burning through his own stamina at an accelerated level thus becoming susceptible to general tiredness. Plus the effort of staying up the night before an exam or test trying to cram usually ended up in Hideki suffering for the entirety of the next day. [break] [break] He exited the dorms and made his way towards the Forest and Field training grounds located on the other end of the premises. The brisk chill of the morning swept along the sensitive leaves on his arms sending a shiver throughout his entire body. In order to keep the cold off him he burst off into a light jog, pushing his arm through the other strap of his bag and securing it to his back. [break] [break] He could see the other two in the distance, waving out in apologies for his tardiness. Once he got closer he slowed his pace, filling his lungs with fresh air and wiping the building dew from his eyebrows and upper lip " Sorry for making you wait-" he nodded at Sekkas readiness, pulling his back off his shoulders and tossing it to the ground " -as am I. Do you have any inclinations or desires to this session? Also we should state rules so we're on the same page"[break] [break] Kazuma Jori [break] Sekka Fuyuzora [break]

Post by Bibiana Watame on May 22, 2021 20:22:06 GMT -4
It wasn't... Meddlesome, was it?
Bibiana saw what happened at the chatroom - more or less. She wasn't exactly proficient with modern technology and she felt no need to contribute to her online life. Why she logged in then? A mere attempt to distract herself from unsettling thoughts with a quick read in the middle of the night. After the dispute turned to a show full of unpleasant remarks, she decided to shift her focus to something different, but then... The suggestion of early training piqued her interest. Not literally, but turning off the computer, Bibi had this notion at the back of her head. The girl started working out recently, but she felt she wasn't on the same terms as others - when it comes to physical abilities, she was almost at the end of the whole class. There was no need for her to come and distract them from working so hard, right..? Yet, at the same moment, she started worrying. Laying down on the bed Bibiana was wondering if by any chance the sparring match would involve quirks. They were on school grounds, technically they could use their abilities... But usually, that required an overseeing staff member if it involved training. She wanted to trust others' instincts. She knew that for example, Sekka has good judgment, and Bibi wasn't invited so she shouldn't feel concerned.
She felt concerned nonetheless. Before the dawn broke Bibiana found herself being awake, sitting on the bed and gazing at the sky. The dark curtain was slowly retreating, a light pink and orange hue painted on the horizon. Nosy or not, she decided to go. First, the bag was filled with necessities. The mysterious content of the leather purse was, in reality, outstandingly normal. Clean towels. First aid kit. Beverages, and refreshments. Then she changed into some casual clothes, remembering to bring something warm along. Ah, yes, garments... Bibiana's outfits were always tasteful and good quality clothing and that's it. There was no tag or obnoxious inscription on the fabric screaming of some ridiculously expensive brand. Not like she was wearing run-down clothes from the city market, but she never shoved her status to others' faces. Unlike a certain individual, she wasn't bringing it up in every conversation, seeing this as inappropriate - there were some subjects one does not talk about unless directly asked.
The air was chilly when Bibiana silently left the dormitory, but the warm light on the sky was a promise of nicer weather in the middle of the day. Fixing her cardigan, Bibi adjusted the purse in her hands, going in the direction of the sparring place. After few minutes of a silent walk, she'll saw the familiar figures in the distance. They were already here, as expected, occupied with conversation.
"Good morning." Bibian approached them with a small smile, feeling somewhat uneasy pressure in her chest. Possibly she might not be welcomed here, but she would feel even more uneasy if she has stayed in her room. "It's good to see you all in high spirits. Please don't mind me, I don't feel qualified enough for your training." An apologetic, but still fairly positive expression appeared on her face. It was true - from what she observed so far, the three classmates were quite skilled in athletics. Although since she started her Hero course, Bibiana also improved, she still wasn't on equal footing with them. Joining this match would lead to either her quickly being overpowered by the dynamic trio, or slowing them down with her poor skills. This way they could train to their heart's content. "I will be on the side." She added, slightly lowering her voice. "I don't want to bother you, I'll just try to learn as much as I can from observation." The girl was aware it was a poor explanation but saying that she simply was looking out of them could be seen as an offense. Perhaps they could think she thought they are not capable enough, so she needs to govern them? No, nothing like this... Maybe she overthinks too much, but now Bibi felt awkward. Luckily her composure did not betray her. She glanced at the bag, and then at Kazuma. "I promise, I'll keep the bag away." she smiled warmly, with a shy attempt at a joke. Not wanting to occupy their time longer, she bowed her head and walked to the side, placing the bag on the grass. Sitting on one of the stones nearby, Bibi took a small breath.
Hopefully, no one would question why she was reading chat messages at three in the morning.

ポ ス ト を 開 始 Kazuma would take a moment to address each of his classmates with a slight nod in response to their "tardiness", though Kazuma didn't really care if they were late or not. He spent the small amount of time it took from his arrival to theirs to limber up a bit and continued snacking on his bamboo so he didn't fall out while using his quirk. He would continue to do so as they spoke, trying to get his head in the game while he could. As fighting on a whim wasn't exactly something that Kazuma was capable of. He needed fuel in order to transform, anger, and in the back of his head, he wasn't sure he'd even get the chance to give them a proper match. Pushing the thought away for a moment another new arrival presented herself before the group. One that he knew from an upside-down perspective more than right side up. Their last encounter was comical to some and worrisome to others, but he didn't want to dwell in that past for too long. She'd make no mistake in bringing it back up, right when he started to forget about the embarrassing incident and just threw his hands up in frustration and moved away to position himself in the field. His brow furrowed with concentration as he looked up at his two competitors from the tip of his nose. He'd have to use his small stature and agility to his advantage until he found the fuel he needed to make proper moves against the two. He huffed out, ready for the challenge before responding to Hideki. "Yeah, every man... or woman, I guess, for themselves. We can start now." He'd lie in wait, letting them make the first moves themselves. As of right now, he was in no position to commit himself to an offensive attack. Unaware of what the two were capable of in a combat setting, he'd need patience until they pissed him off. Which could possibly detour his quirk. エンドポスト

| ◀ | Cold as ice, soft as snow ❆ It was good to know that Sekka wasn't as late as she thought. Even if she was upset that she wasn't the first on the scene, it ultimately didn't matter when the actual training itself didn't even start yet. Speaking of which, Sekka was curious to learn what the others hand in mind for today's training session. Personally, she was fine with any kind of training. Anything that proved to be useful was more than fine by her.
Before starting, Sekka noticed another classmate arriving. It was Bibiana. "Ah, good morning to you too." Unfortunately, the girl seemed to not be here to join everyone else in their training. Which was a shame, as from what Sekka had seen from her, Bibiana certainly had plenty of skill. It would have been neat to see more of what she could do. However, the girl seemed to prefer to spectate this time around. "That's fine, it's not a bother at all. It is a shame, though. I would have liked to see more of what you can do, but I respect your decision."
And now it was time to set the terms for this training session. Sekka listened to Kazuma's response to Hideki's question. Every person for themselves, huh? Sekka nodded. "Sounds good to me." Of course, there was one thing that needed to be clarified before the fight could start. "Are we using quirks for this, or not? I'm fine with either option, but if we do go with quirks, I assume there will be a teacher on standby to make sure nobody goes too crazy?" That made sense. Sekka wanted to make sure that none of her classmates broke any rules, whether accidentally or on purpose. That being said, despite stating that she had no preference for whether or not quirks would be used, Sekka secretly hoped that this training session would have quirks allowed. After all, getting to ride on and attack with Hiryu was far cooler (pun not intended) than being forced to restrain herself.
Ultimately, though, whatever the others decided on, Sekka would be more than fine with. She just wanted to get started. For now, she would observe her classmates, letting one of the others make the first move. However, should nobody be willing to take the initiative, then Sekka would be the one to make the first move. Either way, the girl had a firm grip on her staff, ready to use it to attack or defend, depending on how this training session would begin. |
