APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Liza is a tall and slim woman who looks younger than what her age would suggest. She has light blonde hair that is very long, going well past her thighs. Her hairstyle is very unusual and distinct, basically being held together by hope and tons of hairspray. Despite that, Liza loves her very distinct hairstyle, and refuses to change it to anything else. She has green eyes, and her skin is very light and devoid of any scars.
Being a vain woman who takes pride in her beauty, Liza will only wear the nicest, most fashionable, and most expensive clothes she can get her hands on. Most of the time, she will wear a mix of white and gold, with a mix of black thrown in there. Besides this, she has no preference for any particular clothes. With how much she loves jewelry, one could always expect to see Liza wearing jewelry of some kind at all times. She always keeps herself looking neat and pristine, not tolerating anything that could tarnish her beauty.
POSITIVE
✔ Resourceful, confident, tenacious, fearless, fun-loving
NEGATIVE
✖ Vain, manipulative, greedy, indulgent, rude
LIKES
✔ Singing, villains, money, jewelry, throwing parties, herself
DISLIKES
✖ Law enforcement, not getting what she wants, the poor, stubborn people, having a sore throat
Personality:
At first glance, Liza comes off as a kind, caring, generous, understanding, and motherly woman who loves to help out other people in any way that she can. She can be quite affectionate towards those she cares for, and is immensely protective of those people. She also seems quite generous, always willing to give money and a place to stay to those who truly need it. First impressions of the lady is generally positive more often than not, as she constantly strives to be a woman that others can look up to. All in all, Liza appears to be the perfect 'mom-like' woman.
This, of course, is nothing more than an act. In truth, Liza is a selfish and vain woman who only really looks out for herself. The only two things Liza truly cares about is herself and money. She is incredibly vain, believing herself to be the most beautiful thing in existence, and looks down on those she considers 'ugly'. Most of the time, Liza has no problem being rude to others, often not showing respect unless she feels like she needs to pretend to be respectful, or else needs something from them. Speaking of which, Liza is very manipulative, often seeing people as toys to play and mess around with. She twists people and manipulates them into doing what she wants, and more often than not ends up ditching them once she is finished with them. All in all, Liza is the definition of 'alpha bitch', and she is proud of that.
Of course, Liza is not a woman who is easily pushed around. She lives life without ever holding back, being very indulgent and not letting anything or anyone get in the way of what she wants. Life is one big party for Liza, and she believes in always having fun. She is confident and tenacious, never backing down easily. Nothing scares Liza. The woman is not easily threatened or intimidated. Still, Liza is neither careless nor stupid. Liza knows when to fold, when to submit, when to feign defeat. However, she does get angry when things don't go her way, and she can be quite savage when it happens.

HISTORY
Elizabeth Sangster was born to a wealthy family in Birmingham, England. From a very young age, great things were expected of her. At an early age, the girl was home-schooled. She not being allowed to go out in public without an escort, nor was she permitted to even look at the common folk, much less actually interact with them. No, her parents wanted to groom her and make her a lady of success. The girl lived comfortably, always getting what she wanted, and was content with everything she had.
From the time she was 6 years old, young Elizabeth decided that she wanted to someday become a singer. Seeing great potential in such a dream, her parents allowed this, and immediately hired professionals to begin teaching her for the next couple of years. During one of her rehearsals at the age of 9, Elizabeth had tripped and fell, bruising her hands in the process. It was painful, but the girl was forced to continue practicing. She was allowed no breaks. Doing her best to ignore the pain, Elizabeth kept singing. It was then that her quirk had first manifested. The girl was surprised to see the pink sound waves emitted from her mouth. Upon making contact with her bruised hands, she was shocked to see that the pain and bruising had both suddenly gone away! How mysterious and wonderful!
However, her parents did not agree. Being old-fashioned and quirkless themselves, they were appalled at seeing their daughter do something so unnatural. So they sent her to live with her aunt and uncle, not wanting to bother with raising a quirked child. Or as they put it, a demonic spawn. However, this is was probably for the best, as while Elizabeth's aunt and uncle were nowhere near as wealthy, they could help teach the child that money wasn't everything. It was tough for them, since Elizabeth was already a spoiled brat, and it would not be easy for them to make her change her bad habits. Still, they did their best to provide and care for Elizabeth. For the most part, Elizabeth's time with her aunt and uncle remained uneventful.
During her teen years, Elizabeth continued taking singing lessons. She was determined to become a star. She wanted to be famous, to once again live in the lap of luxury, to once again know the feeling of being rich. She made a couple of friends in private school, and after graduation, the small group of friends decided to form a band. The group had spent years working together to make songs and gain fame and recognition.
When Elizabeth was 20, she would finally find huge success. During a performance at a local bar, a man in a business suit had approached the group, telling them that the music company he worked for was interested in picking them up. After some discussions, the band was now signed up with a major record company. They were now able to professionally make albums and get rich and famous. Elizabeth was happy. This was it. She could now enjoy being a star! For the next seven years, the band would produce hit after hit, going on tour across England. They were rolling in the big money!
It was during this time that Elizabeth fell in love with and married her lead guitarist. The two would go on to have two kids, doing their best to raise them while still handling band duties. Despite doing her best to spend as much time with her kids as possible, Elizabeth would often have to leave them in the care of her aunt and uncle while she and the rest of the band were busy being successful.
Unfortunately, Elizabeth would eventually succumb to the weight of her fame, letting success go to her head. She became demanding and bossy, wanting to make every important decision on her own and making it all about her. Tensions began to skyrocket within the group, and fights began to constantly break out. Eventually, the fighting and resentment towards Liza's selfish and elitist attitude hit a breaking point, and at the age of 27, Elizabeth was now a solo act, as the band had officially broken up.
Things were definitely taking a turn for the worse for the next several years. Her solo career wasn't taking off very well, with her lone album considered a commercial failure. It was clear that her days as a star were over. She lost most of her money, and was now basically a laughingstock to the public. Even her husband had abandoned her, and he had the gall to take custody of her precious children, forbidding her from even being able to see them. Outraged at all of this, Elizabeth retreated to her home, and let out a loud anguished scream. It was then that she found out (the hard way) just how destructive her quirk could be. Several objects were smashed, the windows all shattered, and a sizeable crack was formed on the wall.
At this point, Elizabeth was done. She just wanted to start over. Move away and start fresh. So she took whatever money she had left, packed her bags, and moved as far away from Birmingham as she could. Her destination? Tokyo, Japan. At the age of 30, Elizabeth had a new place, a new country to call home. Learning Japanese wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination, but she had managed to get a grasp of it in time. In addition, she decided to change her name. Naturally not her first name, as she loved her name. But she would now assume a new identity: Elizabeth Queen, or Liza for short.
Liza's time in Tokyo wasn't too bad, all things considered. Sure, she was back to square one, but at least she had left the notoriety and failure of her past behind. Though Liza craved the spotlight, she did not want to risk trying to become a star again, only to fail and repeat the same mistakes of England. No, this time, Liza would try something new, something different, something to assure that her path to success would be guaranteed. A secret recipe for success.
And that secret? It was crime, of course!
It was sad, but crime was far too profitable. Illegal was just much easier and rewarding than legal. Liza was done trying to be the nice girl. No, she wanted to be an alpha bitch, the queen at the top who took what was rightfully hers by any means necessary. However, she did not want to risk getting caught. The last thing she wanted was to be imprisoned, or worse, deported back to England. No, she needed to be smart. She needed a way to get her hands dirty without actually getting them dirty. Liza needed a plan.
That plan was to take advantage of Tokyo's rising villain scene, while covering her operation under a legitimate business. She decided to open up her own nightclub, one that she would name Starlight Sanctuary. The idea was to let the establishment attract local gangs and criminals in addition to customers. From there, she would allow the crooks to conduct their business while getting a respectable cut from their earnings. She would get their money, they would get protection from the police and a place to stay.
For the next couple of years, that was precisely what Liza did. She offered the masses a place to party and dance the night away, while also secretly giving criminals a place to operate beneath the nose of the law. She would get their money as 'rent', while avoiding getting her hands dirty and being labelled a villain. In time, Liza would bond with and slowly become rather attached to all the various thugs, criminals, and gangsters who made their way to her nightclub. She saw them as her children, doting on them and providing for them. Naturally, she was just using them for her own gain, but in her eyes, this was a mutual benefit. Quid pro quo. And in many ways, it was.
Progress was slow, but Liza would eventually start getting rich from her illegal 'guests'. Not to the same level as the old days, but enough to where she could start living comfortably again. She could start wearing nice clothes again, and feel superior to the rest of the people. But it wasn't enough. She wanted more. She needed more. So it was time to expand. It was time to think bigger, to ally herself with more and more gangs, to make more and more money. To milk as much dirty money from Tokyo as she could manage.
But will Liza be able to succeed in creating an underground empire to rule over? Will she be able to continue to keep her hands clean while manipulating others into doing the dirty work for her? Will she need to embrace the path to villain in order to find true success? Will the law find out and crush her hopes and dreams? The future is uncertain, but Liza will continue this party for as long as she can. She's determined to use as many people as it takes to get to the top. And once she's there, Liza is determined to hold on as tightly as she can. Only time will tell how big of an impact this Matriarch will leave.
