APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance: Kazuma is but a tiny widdle panda boy. While his body is covered in fur, he still feels naked without clothes until his quirk shreds him and he is riddled with embarrassment afterward. Unlike typical pandas his fur isn't just black and white, but gray as well. It's a bit of a distorted gradient that starts white at his head, the rounds of his eyes and his ears disrupting the pattern. He then has black fur on his torso and arms. Finally, it shifts to gray toward his cute widdle tum tum in a sporadic, yet symmetrical, manner. To top off the cute levels he's got a nice little bun of fur on his rear that some like to call a tail and a stick of bamboo in his mouth at all times.
POSITIVE
✔ Driven, honest, grounded
NEGATIVE
✖ Hot-headed, stubborn, lathargic, smug
LIKES
✔ Bamboo, naps, energy drinks, smelling things, back scratches, behind-the-ear scratches
DISLIKES
✖ Head pats, insects(fleas in particular), being looked down on(metaphorically)
Personality:
Being the little guy is tough, but Kazuma doesn't let it get to him. Unless you bring it up, of course. He's not the cutesy panda that he seems and if you're just starting to get to know him he'll get perturbed if you continue to carry on about it. There's more to him than just his cute appearance and once he opens his mouth you're sure to find out he's not as cute on the inside. It doesn't take much to set the fuse off and if you know what's good for you, you'll try not to do that. As you definitely "won't like him when he is angry." He's pretty easily agitated, which nobody can help but himself.
When he's not lounging around and chewing on bamboo, he likes a good post to scratch his back on. And he does it all while thinking himself higher than the rest, despite his vertical challenges. While he is lazy in nature, he doesn't like to be that way. When his attention is required he'll resort to caffeinated beverages so he doesn't doze off. Though he might fall asleep without it during a conversation, he's still a pretty good listener nonetheless. He's been known to knock off during a talk and still know what the other person said. Don't say he's rude, though, he doesn't like that and thinks people should just assume it's involuntary.
While you might have to look down on him to speak to him, he doesn't like to be underestimated. When he is, he tends to show out and lose himself to his anger and quirk. He'll be honest about it if he feels himself to be outmatched as he is with most things. Might be a bit blunt about it, but at least he's honest.
As everyone is striving to be the number one hero or something close to it, he's fine with just being in the action. While he is very driven to being a bigger and greater hero, he sees it more realistic that for his skill set he will find himself somewhere towards the top of the middle. He can still dream, though.
Being a panda since he was an infant, he's grown to become primarily human. Though he does have some animalistic tendancies aside from his deranged behavioral issues. He scratches and cleans himself, he exclusively eats the native food of his species, bamboo, and isn't opposed to public urination.

HISTORY
Born a normal hairless baby, Junichiro and Izumi Jori were delighted to see their child come into the world. The two were happily married for a few years before conceiving the child, living by the societal standard. Junichiro had a degree in finance and was the breadmaker while his mother, Izumi, kept the house despite having a degree in environmental chemistry herself.
During the time of his birth and initial upbringing, quirks weren't entirely new, but they weren't exactly "accepted." So while his parents thought they were sleepless the first two years of his life, Kazuma had a serious case of the "terrible twos." On the day of his birthday, his hair started to change color and thicken. Over the next few months, he was covered in it as his ears started shifting upward and changing in shape. His entire body was beginning to morph into animals and, boy, did that start a catastrophe in his household. Doctor visit after doctor visit, nobody could figure out what exactly was happening to their son. Until the later stages where he actually was starting to look animalistic and his parents were told he obtained a quirk. Unsure of what to think of the whole situation, they decided to accept what it was rather than trivialize it and cause themselves more stress. Only thing was, there wasn't too much help on raising on human child panda thing. Internet wasn't there to save the day when certain things came up. Especially when he got upset. As when he got upset, he got strong. When he got strong, he broke things. Thus, his childhood was a rather costly one. The family downsized to make up for the lost income.
As time went on they learned how to cope with the anger. They used behavioral practices rather than just kneeling to his every whim. He listened, but he was stubborn so it wasn't easy. While the stubbornness stuck, as well as the anger issues, he was able to learn how to handle his anger efficiently enough to keep his "Pandamonium" under control as a young child. So, no, he didn't destroy any grocery stores over a toy...unfortunately.
While things were growing with ease in his household, villains were out causing unease in the rest of the world... and the news was there to cover it all. While his parents tried to shelter him from the coverage he would sneak down at night and watch the 11 o'clock while they were sleeping. While he thought the chaos and destruction that the villains produced was awesome and cool to look at, the best part was always watching the hero stop them. Thus began the imaginative train of thought that led him to his early childhood training of using toys to fight evil... which didn't help his own abilities in the least.
Starting school wasn't so bad. The first day someone picked on, a few seconds later nobody did. Put their fuse out in a moment as he was able to grow double in size, but... it didn't stop there unfortunately and it wouldn't for a few years. He became quite the ne're-do-well his early years in school. Beating kids up for looking at him the wrong way, though it was just his own insecurities that brought this upon them. After a while, he was able to take a step back and realize he was becoming a villain just like all the toys he destroyed with the good toys. Though, he wasn't entirely against getting even with those that tried to pick on him down the road.
The announcement of UA was a pretty big thing and it buzzed on for last two to three years of his primary school. They'd all say, "You won't get into UA if you do that." Yeah, well... they were wrong. Not much changed in Kazuma's behavior, but he became very driven to become a hero. So he had to train like a hero. He began learning how to eat enough to sustain his form whether he was still angry after the transformation or not. He'd time himself day in and day out and train himself while in the form, building a greater physique than it once had. Testing his limits and then surpassing them at every moment he could. Getting to test his skill after school against kids that thought they could take him. There, he learned restraint. He was able to pull punches and control the rage he held in him. Though as the fights became more regular he struggled with transforming and it quickly became a more common thing for him to get knocked around a bit before he took the fight in a landslide. Nonetheless, he was able to put in work on making his quirk appealing for the hero training program... and here we are. Aiming for the top spot at UA to be an "OK" hero in the long run.
