◀ | Cold as ice, soft as snow ❆ Sekka could not believe it. After looking forward to it for so long, she finally found herself stepping through the gates of UA! She was finally beginning her first day of hero school! This was the start of her long and undoubtedly arduous journey to become a heroine! Even this normally stoic and expressionless girl could not help but move with a bit more vigor and energy than usual. So much to learn! So much to do! It was all so exciting! But where to begin? What to do before worrying about anything else? What was the very first thing Sekka wanted to do? The answer to that was, in Sekka's eyes, very simple. Train, train, and train some more. This school had an impressive training field, filled with many things to help the girl exercise. Not just herself, but her quirk too. Sekka could set up obstacles and ride on Hiryu, trying her best to avoid colliding with anything as she tried her best to hang on to her flying ice dragon. Or perhaps she could test her own stamina and speed by running laps and using a timer to test how long it would take to run around the school. That seemed exhausting yet satisfying as a way to work out. Either option seemed appealing. For now, however, Sekka would focus on her martial arts. It was true that the girl was decently skilled at bōjutsu. Still, Sekka did not wish to limit herself to fighting only with a staff. She wished to incorporate several martial arts moves and techniques into her fighting style. Versatility was a nice trait to have, after all. And it would help to actually be good at fighting at close quarters. After all, Sekka couldn't always rely on Hiryu to do everything for her. And so Sekka would begin her training. After tying her hair into a ponytail and going to the locker room to change into her blue gym shorts, white tank top, and white sneakers, Sekka made her way to the training field to get started. After setting up some training dummies, the girl began to practice some kicks, jabs, punches, and throws. It was nothing too flashy. Just pretty standard stuff. However, Sekka was quickly finding herself feeling bored. This is no fun, she thought to herself as the girl crossed her arms and kicked down the training dummy in front of her for the fifteenth time now. I wish I could practice my moves on something that could actually fight back. There was a solution to this. An easy way to get what she wanted. Simply find another student and ask if they wished to join her. However, Sekka was usually not one who was too fond of approaching others. Sure, her fellow students were also heroes in training, and thus she was undoubtedly expected by the teachers here to work alongside them at some point. Still, it felt like too much of a bother to interrupt her training just to find someone who for all she knew might not even be interested in training with her. Plus, despite not actually minding interacting with others, Sekka simply found it easier to do things by herself. So with a sigh, Sekka continued practicing her martial arts on her own. I should probably just focus on this. Perhaps if she were lucky, another student might walk by and decide to come train with her. But perhaps it was foolish to be this hopeful. Really, what were the odds of that happening? Surely the other students were too busy either trying to learn where every class was so they wouldn't get lost, or else chatting with each other to get to know the others better. Would any student really come to the training area right now? Though if someone did decide to come here, Sekka wouldn't mind. It would certainly make things more interesting. |
