It hadn't even been three days since Klara arrived in Japan and she had already found herself pleasantly surprised. Accommodations, transportation, daily meals, a to-do list; everything had been arranged for her, down to seemingly the most irrelevant of things (such as a list of what they thought were her preferred clothing brands and where she could purchase them). As she parked into U.A.'s driveway with her choice of import vehicle, that being a purple Ferrari 812 GTS, she couldn't help but snicker quietly to herself as the screen of her smartphone kept lighting up with notifications. Touma certainly knew how to get a woman's attention, what with him filling her schedule with an obscene number of meetings and various other nonsensical appointments. The life of a school principal, she supposed.
Stilettos clicked and claked against the floor as Klara navigated the hallways of the prestigious school, the fact that she memorized the layout making it easy for her to plan a beeline straight towards her new office. Very few students were out and about during class hours and those who were simply received a pleasant smile that left them staring slack-jawed. Amusing. And Adorable.
Her office was large yet simple, a modern design with a taste for minimalism. Pristine condition. A wide mahogany desk at the back, a large window-wall behind it. A white puffy rug at the center with a simple black coffee table on top, circled by two comfy grey leather couches and an identical armchair at the head. Klara could only smile at the sight, having been told ahead of time that her office had been prepared for her, yet clearly she didn't expect this level of detail to stay accurate with her specifications.
Taking a seat on her the comfy leather chair at her desk, Klara allowed herself a moment to just take it all in. Her perfectly manicured crimson nails quickly glided through the keyboard on her desk, two monitors blinking to life before she accessed the school systems with the new login that was prepared for her a few hours ago. Unfortunately for Touma all of those meetings he scheduled would have to wait. As their new Vice-Principal she needed to introduce herself and get to know her students, didn't she?
Silk-like magenta fell over her shoulder as Klara fixed a few strands over her ear, showing off earrings glistening with translucent gems. She fixed the slightly oversized glasses over her nose, bright ambers staring at the screen as she smiled for the camera. "Good morning, students and faculty," she offered, her voice serenade-like yet professional all the same, and despite being only half Japanese her manner of speech had zero accent behind it.
"I know this may come as a little bit of a surprise -- less of one courtesy of Mister Bantis, of course -- but regardless: my name is Klara Fumiko, and starting from today I will take up the position of this school's Vice-Principal," her smile turned sweet as she leaned forward, elbows on top of her desk, chin resting on top of intertwined fingers. "I look forward to working with you all, student and faculty alike."
"Let me be blunt -- I believe that the way this organization has been run so far has been lackluster at best and I intend to put my best foot forward to change all of that. To that effect, I would like to start off by having a chat with all of you, individually. Attached with this message you will find a sign-up sheet. Please pick a time that works best for you and fill this sheet in with your name and class. Just as an added note, I would also like for students to include their parents or guardians in this meeting, however should you find this to be uncomfortable for any reason a simple one-on-one talk will suffice. This goes for both the student body and all of the faculty. Before you ask -- yes, this is mandatory."
"I'm really excited to hear from all of you, and to get to know you," and with one more sweet smile, she hit send.
This should cause some waves.
Signups! Please follow the sheet below and reply under this post to show interest!

Klara is so awesome, pleasepleaseplease
Name: Kagaya Shinme Hero name: Wind Chime (not yet given) Occupation: Student Class: 2-A starting April Points of note: Shinme is not yet going to hero classes, but he had finished all the year-end exams in his previous school in advance (in February! he is smart!), so he is getting acquainted with the school and the students. He can literally visit Klara anytime so long as his father and mother can free their scedules! As I imagine, the Principal and Vice Principal (and maybe some of the other faculty members?) have access to a special info on Shinme's student file, namely the details of his kidnapping. If Shinme is present throughout the whole meeting, the info shouldn't be brought up, as he has no memory of this. But if Klara converses privately with the parents too, they will probably touch upon it, and will ask her for discretion. They want Shinme to be protected, after all. Their overprotectiveness will be obvious even if the kidnapping isn't brought up. Aside from that, anything is fine! Shinme and his parents might want to talk about whether he can juggle hero studies/work and idol work at the same time, and whether the school will allow it at all. That is probably Shinme's most pressing concern.
He will also keep talking about how awesome/beautiful Klara is, but that is normal.

Name: Angel Surami Hero name: The Angel of Mercy Occupation: Student/Hero/ Orphanage & youth center founder and co-owner Class: Which Graduating class of 3-A Points of note: I would like our thread to take place at New Oasis so that not only can Klara meet Angel's family, but also the kids she cares for and the faculty she inspired to come join her. I also give permission to have her bring up Angel's father and how his bigotry, abuse and racism could have turned Angel into the monster he saw her as, but that she chose to heal and save the world through love. Idk if it is relevant to the meeting, but she could bring up that Angel is engaged to a former thief whom she helped redeem and save. in terms of time of day/week for the thread a weekend day in the afternoon or evening works best for Angel as that's when things slow down for her work load at New Oasis/she doesn't have courses to teach. You may also have her know that Angel has worked with 4 seperate pro heroes, Yellow Jacket, Ultra violet, Red Horn and Paw Might Oh and most importantly she helped saved the city from zombies and even saved the Principal's life during said event. Her biggest accomplishments are saving Akihabara alongside Red Horn from a chimara villian (which was caught by a news crew in a helicopter) as well as stopped a chop shop operation and high speed chase with said hero on a separate occasion, Stopping a drug ring and saving a child hostage alongside Ultra violet and saving a mall full of hostages and taking down to bad guy teens alongside Yellow Jacket,Feng and Yumi. She also helped bring home a win in her second year sports festival in the castle siege. She also fought alongside Paw Might, a group of first years and the school principal against "Cape breaker" and his hoard of zombies saving several civilians. Oh and she also was on the front lines holding back cultists alongside paw might If it is of note Angel has seen the school shrink a couple times to deal with her trauma. Also in terms of grades, Angel does excellent in her hero course classes, but except for literature she's a very C student who has problems taking tests due to being unable to stay focused or sit still, very much like attention deficite disorder. She would much rather be outside doing hero work or reading about fantastical worlds then sitting behind a desk. She has always been at least while at U.A. extremely extroverted and hungered for connections thus why in her second year she took Kumoko Joro under her wing so to speak to help train her and build her confidence. (writer's note: I will be npcing Angel's family and one of the co owners Haruka Watanabe, but if you want I can also npc the staff so Klara can see how Angel has inspired them)

Post by Lewis "Lu" Himura on Mar 20, 2021 12:04:17 GMT -4
Name: Lewis Himura Hero name: Bel Occupation: Student Class: Class 1A - 2A come the new year Points of note: Lewi's very religious upbringing and family. His father is Pastor who oversees a few churches in hometown. Both of his parents have quirks. While the family isn't well-known figures outside of their home area, they are avid supports of Quirk users and Quirks as a whole (with Lewis' father being one of the most vocal supporters for the support of Quirkers in the Church). With student files being a thing, there may be notes of Lewis' lack of confidence in his own quirk and his appearance, but a high amount of confidence in his non-quirk related skills; social, academic, extracurriculars.

Post by Yuhiko Yuzuki on Mar 20, 2021 18:30:24 GMT -4
Name: Yuhiko Yuzuki Hero name: Luminous Lord Occupation: Student Class: Currently class 1-B, I assume will be class 2-B once the next school year starts in April Points of note: To be honest, I'm really not sure. There are a few things that can be pointed out, such as Yuhiko's unwillingness to be all friendly and get along with his peers, and his general cold, selfish, and aloof attitude towards the students as Yuhiko prioritizes his own growth and improvement above all else. Though that is mostly due to his father's harshly strict lessons making Yuhiko's childhood growing up a borderline hell. Yuhiko's father wishes to groom his son to be a successful heir to the business that he co-owns, wanting Yuhiko to prioritize success over 'useless' things like friendship and trust. Before his enrollment at UA, Yuhiko had made a deal with his father, to either become the top UA student graduate or get cast out of the family should he fall behind at any point. The deal itself is not common knowledge, as Yuhiko would never allow himself to open up to anyone long enough to confide in them about something so important. Despite this, certain details could be implied and picked up on during the meeting.
Speaking of Ayumu Yuzuki, the man is a harsh, cold, and arrogant businessman who is the primary reason why Yuhiko is the cold, blunt, aloof, and insufferable asshole that he is. He will show up to the meeting despite lacking much interest, and while he's well-mannered enough to not be outright rude, it will be very clear that he is a businessman first and a poor excuse of a father second, and that he sees Yuhiko's progress in UA as nothing more than a project. The reason Yuhiko's mother is always traveling abroad and is never at home is because Ayumu has basically driven her away, only using her to have his perfect heir and having no use for her otherwise. Klara is free to call him out on his poor parenting skills, his lack of empathy, and his ruining Yuhiko's childhood by burdening him with so many harsh expectations and radical view on life in general. The whole thing could end by giving the man a complete and utter verbal beatdown. In fact, please have the thread end like this. It's something that the man has had coming for a long time now. Plus, it'll be hilarious XD
In terms of grades, Yuhiko is naturally performing very well, constantly keeping on top of his assignments and handling his responsibilities as class president surprisingly well. In fact, he's actually tried his best to work together with the rest of his class. Obviously, success is limited, since Yuhiko is Yuhiko and thus rigid and not inclined to change his ways so easily, but at least he is actually trying. Still, he has a very long way to go before he comes close to being anything resembling normal. And he will almost definitely need to visit the school counselor at some point, even if Yuhiko feels as though he doesn't need it at all.
Besides that, there's not much else I think is noteworthy. Or maybe there is and my awful memory has struck me hard again. Apologies if I didn't add anything solid to work with, or if I babbled on for too long and added too many unnecessary details.

"Barricade"
Student-Rank Quirk:
|
Post by Kenshin Dwight on Mar 20, 2021 18:39:55 GMT -4
Name: Kenshin Dwight Hero Name: Barricade, not yet acquired but already run for approval. Occupation: Student Class: Will most likely be attending 1-A when the year starts. Points of Note: Kenshin will be showing up without his parents. His father works as an English teacher and so is pretty busy all week, his mother working some other job that I haven't decided on yet that also takes up a lot of time, though perhaps significantly less. Kenshin has also gotten quite good at reassuring his parents that he's fine, though I can definitely see them slipping a message to faculty expressing their concern without him knowing, probably with a request that the source of the information provided not be made known to Kenshin for fear of him closing off from them. At first glance, Kenshin seems healthy, but therein lies the problem. He seems healthy, which in and of itself is somewhat odd given his history of being constantly isolated from his peers. He shrugs off any concern directed at him and has gotten somewhat skilled at deflecting, though may become unresponsive when this mechanism fails. He's also very proactive in his pursuit of becoming stronger, better at being a hero, but invests very little energy into anything else. He's single-minded in his pursuit, seeming to pull energy that he shouldn't have out of nowhere, never coming quite to a full stop for anything.
In truth, Kenshin gets this energy from a strange form of morbid acceptance, realizing that the only time he feels excited, fulfilled, is when either his life is on the line or he's protecting someone, especially when both overlap. He uses a form of self-objectification to will himself into ignoring the limitations of his body, forcing himself to exceed them on an almost regular basis. As his quirk is very good at covering up such stress-related injuries, as though numerous they are minor, this will have gone largely unnoticed except for observation that borders on either stalking or constant surveillance, but the fact that he'd have to be passing his limits with his amount of activity is probably a lot easier to put together, despite his quirk making those limits significantly higher. He has passing interactions with people he meets who are also associated with the hero course, and although these interactions can appear normal, friendly even, afterwards it's often like they didn't happen. His demeanor never truly changes around anyone, as if relationships are somehow barred from passing a certain threshold, and that threshold is apparently low. Despite this, Kenshin is good at putting on faces and pretending everything's fine.
