APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Aimi is a teenager of a graceful, lithe build. She possesses a mostly ideal oval-shaped face, maned by a lengthy wave of light blue hair which cascades all the way down to the middle of her back, with her bangs cut neatly and diagonally across her forehead, generally parted away at the end. Underneath them are present thin eyebrows and wide, almond eyes of a similar azure shade, accompanied below by a small, narrow nose and fine lips of pale complexity.
Being of a wealthy and formal background, the girl is used to sporting a modest set of clothes, never wearing anything that exposes too much, even during hotter seasons. Things like suits or coats, specifically of darker tones, are not unusual. Due to this, some might even consider her a tomboy of sorts.
To the outside, Aimi tends to appear like a laidback, nonchalant individual, never seemingly having too many changes in mood, no matter the situation. More often than not assuming a relaxed and easygoing demeanor everywhere she goes.

Personality:
At first glance, Aimi can be seen as quite the calm and composed individual. You hardly ever see her show any sort of strong emotions due to her somewhat cold nature, though that still doesn't mean that she's not just like any other person with normal human feelings. She just simply has a way to suppress her sentiments better than the average person, mostly developed from the dojo she trains in. This same demeanor can also sometimes be discerned as a lack of care towards those around her, but again, if given good enough reason, it's in her human nature to help others.
Even to those that she doesn't yet know too well, Aimi can still prove to be a somewhat straightforward and frank being, more often than not having little to no problem in telling people about what might be wrong in what they could be saying or doing, easily critical towards those that she deems as deserving of such. Though, once more, she does it in good will and not to try and spite someone.
When handed a chance to get to know her better, one might quickly find out how diligent and steadfast she is. There's always a firm sense of duty in everything that she does, especially if it's something that's requested of her. Such is one of the aspects of her personality which her father truly admires and respects, and one of the reasons apart from her quirk as to why he suggested a heroic career for her.

HISTORY
Aimi can call herself quite fortunate when it came to the kind of upbringing she had from the very same day of her birth, through her childhood and her early teens, to the person she is today. In fact, things couldn't have gotten any better for her. Yet, she doesn't take any of that for granted. Despite still having standards and shunning those who recklessly violate them, she considers herself humble for the most part.
"Why should I brag about it anyway? We're kinda average, to be honest."
Aimi Yokota (横田愛美, Yokota Aimi), born in the year of 2060 to a family of investors and business workers, found herself almost immediately spoiled since the day she was born. Perfect health and general service conditions due to the aid of the best hospitals in the capital, there was truly nothing one could complain about. Quickly, she grew into a smart and vigorous child, often hanging out with her two brothers and living a truly peaceful and comfortable childhood.
As she arrived at her early teens, that's when she learned how to properly manifest her quirk. Witnessing this, her father took her into martial art classes in the dojo he used to train. Considering he still had some connections with the establishment, especially since the same master who taught her father still trained and accepted students under his tutelage, it didn't prove too hard for her to get settled in. It didn't take too long before she started drawing good impressions from those around her, specifically from those who had been instructing her. Aimi rapidly became one of the best students of that same dojo, only ranked under a few already at a professional level of expertise in the martial art of Shorinji Kempo.
Whilst the original idea was for her to follow in her parents' steps, entering into the world of business and investment, her father instead saw a different route for her. She was different from her brothers. And the dormant potential of that quirk which she was born with and swiftly developed was enough reason. After all, what her father saw could likely bring the family even more wealth and prosperity in life.
With a look of excitement in her father's eyes, he looked to enroll Aimi into one of the most well-known, if not the most renowned school in the entire world:
U.A. High, an academy to build heroes.
"But why? I don't know. Ask my father. I'm just here because it sounds like fun."
