APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
The easiest and most striking characteristic of Lewis' appearance is that he looks like a devil. While not the tallest of teens, at 1.7m, Lewis is well built at 68kg. A toned physique is noticeable once you can look past the devilish features.
Starting from the top, Lewis' head is capped with long, straight white hair that reaches down to his the bottom of his shoulder blades, often tucked behind his two long and pointed ears. His hair is found behind two fair sized horns that come out from his forehead and gently curve back ever so slightly.
Lewis' mid area is very normal, compared to the rest of his body. Despite the red hue of his skin, Lewis has no distinctive features on his chest, back, arms, or waist. His hands are capped with claw-like nails.
Lewis' lower half continues to show his devil like traits well. Protruding from his backside is a long and slender pointed tail, often found whipping back and forth behind the teenager. His legs are digitigrade, meaning he walks on his toes and the ankle is raised up off the ground.

Personality:
Raised in a very religious household, Lewis garnered a lot of his traits from his upbringing. While not from a strict home, Lewis was raised to not judge others unless he was ready to judge himself first. Taking that lesson to heart most of all the lesson his parents taught him, Lewis became hyper-critical of himself. He is quick to point out his own flaws, and just as quick to point out the boons others possess. This has lead to many self confidence issues the young teenager has suffered.
The lack of confidence has lead itself to some positives however. As someone who is critical of themselves, Lewis has constantly pushed himself to excel in whatever he has set his mind to. This has lead him to lead a very active life, always having something on the go so he can always be working on something. Lewis has dedicated much of his time and focus onto exercise which in turn has lead itself into boxing.
A point of pride in Lewis' life, one of the things he will praise himself for is his non-quirk related abilities. Thanks to his nearly self-aggressive style of personal training, Lewis sees what he can do without his quirk as a testament to what one can do if they put their mind to it. Constantly striving to be a better person than he was the day before, quirk or no quirk, Lewis takes his negative emotions and uses them as fuel, hoping to one day believe in himself as much as his parents believe in him.

HISTORY
Lewis "Lu" Himura was born into a fairly well-off religious family. His father, Ken Himura, is a jovial, friendly, and all around very supportive pastor with a quirk that gave him characteristics of a bison (minus the face). His mother, Anne Himura, is a stern yet loving preschool teacher with a quirk that allows her to increase or decrease her body temperature to varying extremes with no ill effects. Ken and Anne had always wanted a small family, and when they found out they were going to have a child, they had hoped for a girl. Having decided on the name Lucy before finding out their child's gender, they were happy nonetheless when they found out they'd be having a boy, despite the horn nubs and red skin.
Despite the household he lived in, and the clearly devilish appearance their child had, his parents were nothing but supportive and loving. Ken found it humourous and ironic that a man in his position would have a son with the qualities that Lewis had, and even brushed off the name Lucy and began to jokingly refer to his son as such, as a play on the name Lucifer. Despite the fatherly teasing, Lewis enjoyed the name and eventually began going by Lu more than Lewis. As he aged, more of the traits became more apparent. After the initial traits of red skin and horn nubs (that eventually grew into full horns), a tail soon emerged, with his legs also forming into a digitigrade stance instead of a plantigrade one. This was capped off with an ability to spew fire out from his mouth. Though these traits all appeared in a relatively short amount of time, they were spaced out enough to make himself and his parents wonder if more would appear later down the line as he continued to grow.
Not many crazy events happened in Lewis life as he grew. He had a very normal childhood, and despite his looks, made a fair few friends as he grew up. Self doubt into his own appearance played into the young mans life and in an attempt to silence his own doubts, he began focusing outwardly into activities that could occupy his time and mind. While still young, Lewis asked his parents to enroll him into some form of self defense, martial arts, or the like type of activity, as he felt that this could take up the most amount of his time. A fan of boxing himself, Ken found Lewis a place to train in such an activity and soon the young Himura was training day in and day out. As he trained, he learned how to properly spread out working out and exercise to maximize his improvement along with not ruining his body.
When Lewis was old enough, and as someone always looking for the best way to self-improve, he enrolled in U.A and was pleasantly surprised at his acceptance into the course. While he was aware of the potential of his quirk, his self doubt once again emerged. Knowing full well his own self confidence issues, Lu pushed through anyways, focused on the next challenged that lay ahead of him. Always someone who enjoyed games and stories, Lewis took the name 'Bel' as reference to a fictional ArchDevil.
