A knight of Diamond, a Dragon of Plasma

With the time of graduation drawing ever and ever closer, Jack knew well that he needed to kick into high gear with his progression. The fact alone that he was being allowed to graduate early was a point of massive pride for the dragon boy, as well as a great motivator to show that their trust in him was not misplaced. That's why, after at least a well-earned break during Christmas time, he was back to training. Admittedly, while he hadn't gotten as much Quirk progression as he would have liked, he did progress well in his overall combat ability - something that he knew was going to be put to the test the moment he heard Ms. Kearney had taken over as the primary combat teacher.

Surely enough, before long his teacher had contacted him for a bit of a sparring class. He didn't really know the specifics of it, only that he was actually fighting Eli, of all people. Admittedly, it was a bit of a surprise, but more than a welcome one. The two had been friends ever since Jack came to U.A., and the two had never actually fought before. He would have been lying if he said that he wasn't curious on how a fight between the two of them would go. 

Plus...he may or may not still want to get in one good sock to the face for that one time way back when still. Pride's a bitch sometimes, and now wasn't really much of an exception.

However, he'd learn fast that wouldn't get much of a chance to carry out that little idea. As they approached the site that Mia had prepared for the two of them, Jack's jaw dropped a little bit. The scenery was something to take in, to say the least. A literal giant, toy castle set, like a little kid would imagine playing with. His tail swished from side to side with anticipation, already getting a pretty good idea about where this was going. Screw a punch to the face, it was looking more like he was going to get to play up to his title a bit more.

As the two would head off the bus, Mia would a brief introduction to their lesson, Jack grinning devilishly at the mention of the two of them nearing graduation. It was clear enough the dragon boy - no, dragon king at this point, he really needed to get used to the idea of that now - was very much in a good mood for this kind of lesson. Their teacher would send Eli on his way into the castle, the blonde boy telling the 'cowboy' not to make him wait. Jack simply snorted in response, already getting his head in the game as he would see him off.

Afterwards, Mia would give Jack his little debriefing. As the one with the higher scores between the two - a fact that made Jack's eyebrows raise a little bit in surprise - he was the one who would be getting the handicap. He had to always remain in his largest dragon form, and take advantage of the battleground in that way. The king smirked at his teacher, raising an eyebrow at her. "You're enjoying this a lot already, aren't ya Mia?" he asked, getting more used to drop the formalities with her. Considering he was planning on sidekicking with her when this was all said and done, he knew he may as well start getting used to that kind of relationship with her. For better or for worse.

The king cracked his knuckles, and started striding towards the castle grounds. "Gotta give props to the workers who made this thing. A castle made for a king!" he exclaimed, loud enough for both their teacher and Eli to hear. "It's too bad...it's probably all gonna be rubble by the time I'm done!" he exclaimed, taking off into a run.



As Jack ran, he would quickly begin to morph, growing larger and larger as his features quickly became less and less human. As he grew, he went straight for the central tower, using his claws to climb up it at an extremely rapid pace. By the time he reached the top, he was in his full, draconic form. The sun reflected his scales in a rainbow shimmer, his mane blowing in the wind. He roared as loud as he could towards the sky, shaking the area around him with the sheer force of it. 



With that, he would circle around the top of the tower, using his senses to try and pinpoint Eli, while also taking note of any particular areas that would be useful for his large size. One way or another, though...this place was coming down!
