Despite it being lunch time the traffic in Tokyo wasn't as bad as Jasmine thought it'd be. The noon-time sun hung high up in the clear blue skies, its rays heating up the otherwise cold winter streets. The growl of an engine echoed along one street in particular as the soon-to-be heroine sped along on her motorcycle, bobbing and weaving through traffic as the vehicle drivers seemed to be in a good mood today and offered her the space she needed to overtake them. A small smile crossed her lips behind the visor of her helmet, her hand gripping the accelerator with some modicum of excitement.
Her third year at U.A. high had of course been filled to the brim with training, studying, and field work much of which often ended up quite dangerous. Jasmine had managed to improve all around, both in terms of her abilities and who she was as a person. She'd made great strides to improve her personal life which was once devoid of anything anybody would consider a decent hobby. In between her rigorous training regimes which would likely make anybody's eyes bulge out of their sockets, she had also managed to integrate herself into Chief Kokai's special operations squad in the Tokyo PD. It didn't pay much -- not that Jasmine even needed to be paid for what she considered volunteer work to begin with -- but it was enough to give her some spending money. Then there was the internship with Red Horn, the Pro Hero likely already grooming the third year to become her sidekick. Beyond that, Jasmine actually rekindled a hobby she was now realizing she could definitely turn into something that provided a pretty good income... if the increasing exposure her tracks on SoundSky and uTube were any indication, anyway.
Jasmine was already starting to look beyond the life of a high school student. Graduation was approaching fast and she really didn't want to be one of those kids who ended up hitting a wall the second they wore a mantle and threw that cap into the air.
It was exactly because of this reason that her motorcycle was now pulling up on the campus of UTokyo, the aggressive snarl of the rider's bike calming to a low purr after parking. Hopping off the bike, Jasmine pulled off her helmet and shook her head to get her messy black and gold tresses to settle. The helmet was set back down on the seat of her bike as azure eyes trailed up the sight of the main building, the image of the establishment of higher education seeming a little intimidating at first glance.
Glancing at the rear view mirror on her motorcycle's handlebar, Jasmine quickly fixed her messy hair up into her usual ponytail, blowing out a few golden bangs out of her face. She fixed up her black leather jacket and blouse, evening the latter out a little so she looked presentable. Even if under normal circumstances such attire would've come across as a little chilly given the time of the year, Jasmine's quirk tended to heighten her body heat, turning the lass into something of a radiator which could withstand much colder temperatures than most. One check at her phone let her know she was fifteen minutes early. She nodded to herself before pocketing the item back into her jeans' pocket, patting the denim down to clean the dust off.
Black boots clung against cobblestone as Jasmine walked along campus, inquisitive eyes trailing from place to place. The whole area was large and spacious and given the fact that it was lunch time - quite packed. College kids were bustling about left and right, some leaving to get lunch somewhere while others had only just woken up and were likely going to go get ready for class. Jasmine noticed a few curious glances her way, quickly distinguishing the spark of recognition in them. Whether it was her soon-to-be hero status or her budding musical career, Jasmine didn't exactly know... but while she was more used to the former, she wouldn't be surprised if college kids recognized her for the latter. She did play at clubs form time to time, after all.
Having finally entered the premises, Jasmine made her way towards the main lobby, the receptionist quickly telling her to settle down and wait around as somebody would be with her shortly. In the emails she shared with Hanako Tosen -- the head of the admissions office for the faculty of Engineering - she was told that while she'd be studying under two faculties for a double degree (as per her own request) should she be admitted in -- Engineering and Science - the former would be the one she'd be introduced to first for the sake of saving time. Given how busy her day to day was, Jasmine was grateful for the consideration. While Hanako herself wouldn't be able to show her around, Jasmine was informed somebody else would be there to greet the new prospect.
Settling by a windowsill near the main lobby, Jasmine crossed her arms and waited, a curious gaze analyzing her surroundings with no small amount of excitement.
