To think that the Hero agency that Maségo worked with would do something so comical and fun! Probably in an attempt to keep Heroes active despite the small drop in crime due to the lowering temperature, Maségo would not of guessed even if she was given a thousand guesses, that they would do a gift exchange. She was not fully sure on the details of the requirements or rules of signing up but she joined up anyway, knowing that any person she got would be super lucky. Once upon a time she was well known as the "greatest gift giver" as well as "the best gift wrapper"! The first in her immediately family(so her and her grandpa) to gain the double title was not something to scoff about. Although it has been many years since then, the way the young ninja maneuvered throughout the shopping mall could be noticed as the movements of an expert. Since it was the season where snow fell many people were already in the gift giving spirit so things such as wrapping paper, decorative bows and other accessories were easily obtainable.
As for the gift Maségo would usually tailor it to the person. Knowing their likes, dislikes, aspirations and favorite color often helped make her gifts the greatest they could possibly be. Her grandpa never knew what to get her, but he always loved the things she got him. Wrapped up with whatever newspaper she could find at the time, Maségo smiled to herself at the surprised face she could recall her grandpa making whenever it was time for her to give the gift. For this person, this "Emiyo" the young ninja knew exactly what to get her. Getting the perfect gift is not easy, it took a long time of simply staring at the note and envisioning what would go well with what the girl would want in her life. She went to UA so that was easy but anything school related such as textbooks or notebooks seemed too easy a gift. She could of gone the make-up route and gotten something fashionable, though the shinobi barely wore make-up herself. So buying brands and such for someone else especially someone she did not know would only leave room for errors. It took a whole two days of shopping and looking to find the perfect gift but Maségo had done it.
So with the gift exchange location set through text, the young girl would of bundled up and picked out a nice carrying bag for the gift. The item was on the smaller side, the wrapping paper sky blue with the picture of a small tabby cat poking at a ball of yarn repeated all over it. The carrying bag was black and gold with three cats on a couch. Two were curled up and resting(persian and exotic shorthair) the other (Scottish fold) was walking along the top most part of the couch as if ready to pounce on the unsuspecting sleepers.
A good gift had a little bit of yourself in it just to make the whole experience more unique.
Heading to the park and finding the bench the two had decided on, Maségo would note the few individuals and couples taking a walk along the paths. Midday on a Sunday was usually packed here at the park but due to the snow and colder weather majority of people had probably decided to stay in. Maybe they could get some cocoa after exchanging gifts? A small smile would creep on her face as she cupped her mitten covered hands to breath on them in an attempt to stay warm. She was a bit early(too excited) and would now pay the price of having to wait.

Emiyo hadn't expected the text she had gotten from the hero "Ion", in regards to this gift exchange. at first she had thought it was something local to U.A, but it seemed like something broader that stemmed across many of the active pro heroes and their sidekicks as well. It definitely made for some interesting fun! She felt bad that she didn't get the hero anything in return, but alas this was the outcome of Secret Santa wasn't it?
The young girl draped on her jacket, mitts and gloves, as well as her thick fluffy snowboots before heading out of the dorms. She had a bag looped around her shoulders as well which held any of her essentials in it, such as her wallet, and keys to get back into the dorm. While she wanted to stay warm and prepared in her human form, she also just wanted to leap outside in her transformed state so that she could simply enjoy the snow and run around like a maniac.
It seemed that wasn't in the cards though, as tempting as it was. Emiyo instead walked into the park that wasn't too far away from the school and looked around her curiously. The ears hidden behind her ribbons twitched here and there as various sounds went off nearby... but soon she found a girl a bit older than herself, sitting alone on a bench with a gift on her lap. She glanced at her phone, and nodded in confirmation as she made her way over to her. On arrival, the girl bowed her head politely and smiled confidently as she introduced herself.
"Hi there, my name is Emiyo Aoki, of the Aoki hero family of Izumo. It's nice to meet you. May I assume that you're the one who asked me here for the secret Santa?" She asked, tilting her head slightly to the left with the same pleasant expression on her face.

"Ah! Your even cuter in person!"
Maségo would say jumping up from her seat on the bench. Immediately the young ninja would start to fawn over the hero-in-training before her. The coat, the boots, the pants everything screamed potential. What could the newly induced sidekick do with herself? She immediately wanted to know everything she could about Emiyo. Her family, her likes and dislikes, her quirk! Maybe they would get so close as to share secrets? The very thought of having her first female friend brought so many ideas to the dark-skinned girls mind that she could only give Emiyo a huge hug. After a few seconds the white haired girl would let go and step back awkwardly knowing full well that such a display might of been a bit too much for a person she had just met.
"Yes yes I'm your Secret Santa! Can we just take a second to talk on how cool is this though? Whoever thought of this is a genius. I love buying gifts so I'm sure your going to adore what I got you."
Glancing to the bench where she was sitting Maségo would realize that not only was the gift not on the bench, it had fallen onto the floor! Frantically picking it up and dusting off the light snow that had gotten on it, the young ninja could not believe that she let her excitement almost ruin the whole reason why she was here in the snow at the park meeting this lovely upcoming hero in the first place.
"My name is Mas- Ion! Well that's my hero name, my real name is Maségo. You can call me that when I'm not on duty okay?"
It was okay for hero's to give out their real name at times right? Maségo was not THAT well known yet though her exploits in the riots had given her a bit of a reputation with the civilains who got caught up in that quirker v non-quirker showdown. Ah that boss'll be fine with it.
"Sit sit! I hope you have some time! I have your gift here and I'd love to be here when you open it."
Handing over the lightly damp black and gold carrying bag covered in kittens, Maségo would sit and gesture for Emiyo to have a seat as well. Inside there would be crinkle paper of various colors masking the first of 3 gifts bought and packaged in layers. First would be a rustic scarf with fun colourful patterns on it. Underneath that would be scented terrarium candles, one of a desert complete with cactus, and another of an iconic scenery in France. The third gift again wrapped under a bunch of crinkle paper, was a pair of house slippers. They were cat shaped and toned complete with kitty ears and little noses. Honestly if these gifts were not to Emiyo's liking Maségo would ask to keep at least the house slippers, for the price they were and how often she would use them it was an absolute steal!
