A Christmas Angel (Secret Santa)

The yearly Secret Santa had already been upon him and what better way to celebrate by making something he really liked making each year for this certain holiday. Something that was a tradition for his family to make, it was a sweet treat but not just anything that was store bought. No this was home made and packed full of love for this holiday which came to be known as Christmas. Alviss had been hard at work making his Secret Santa this said treat. What was it? Well that was a surprise for Angel to find out. Sure they weren't exactly close yet but he was once offered to work alongside her back when they had that day at the cafe. He would not be one to refuse of course as he did want to help people out as a true hero. Scouting hero or not he hoped that he could indeed be there in those dark times.

Moving his gloved hands around as he mixed the ingredients in a large bowl he would thoroughly make sure they were at the right density for his friend of whom he met at the dance party name Angel. He wondered if she would like this? As he put the mixed ingredients into the pot and started to boil them he would do what he could to get it nice and melded together before pouring the mixture into a large pan and cooling it but not before putting some light blue food coloring in the mixture before it was poured out into the pan. As he did pour it in the pan he would then place the pan in the fridge to cool then after that would stretch the sticky substance thoroughly before cutting it up into pieces.

"Phew this ought to be good. Nothing like homemade Salt-Water Taffy for a Secret Santa present. I wonder if she'll like it? Oh well it's the thought that counts right?" he said to himself as he wrapped up the taffy pieces individually then placed them all in a decorative tin that was then wrapped in some wrapping paper and tied with a bow. Signing his name on the wrapped up tin he then would clean off his hands after taking the plastic gloves off and then placed his own leather gloves onto them.

He would await outside of the Dorms in hopes that Angel would show up. She would eventually right? I mean he wouldn't feel comfortable entering the girls dorms unannounced, that would be embarrassing for him. He would wait though just in case but if she still did not show up he might actually have to go do that and enter the girls dorms to deliver his present. "Girls like sweets right?" he wondered out loud. Most people do so he would hope that this was not a bad present. They had been friends for only a little bit but still seeing her smile would be a nice gift on its own, he would wait until she arrived.
