APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
With snow-white hair, piercing blue eyes and standing at six feet, four inches, Ishtar manages to draw attention no matter where she is. Her physique tells the tale of her life; a well-toned body with notable, well-defined muscles that accompany her slim figure. The black metal of her prosthetic left arm contrasts with her appearance, scars, indents and repairs over the years making it clear that the arm isn't simply for show.
Her regular, day-to-day attire is nothing impressive: A simple oversized sweater, hot pants and sneakers. Her villain'attire is a bit more 'complex', but ultimately nothing too show-y.
POSITIVE
✔ Adaptable | Charismatic | Dedicated | Diligent | Flexible | Meticulous
NEGATIVE
✖ Amoral | Brutal | Callous | Hedonistic | Unrestrained | Violent
LIKES
✔ Dogs | Fighting | Music | Confidence | Obedience
DISLIKES
✖ Stagnation | Charity | Cowardice | Deceit | Self-Righteousness
Personality:
Contrary to what most would assume or believe, Ishtar is an incredibly easy-going and amicable individual. She can laugh and joke with the best of them, to the point that she can remain friendly and cordial with someone even while killing them. This lends slight credence to the belief that she may be a complete and utter sociopath, as the emotions and behaviors she displays don't always match up to the societal norms that would expect for certain situations.
Ultimately, she is a woman of focus and resolve. She knows what she believes in, and she'll pursue those beliefs no matter what. Concepts of 'morality' and 'right and wrong' are irrelevant to her. She firmly believes people should pursue and do things in accordance to their own desires and wills. Her mentality is firmly rooted in 'Survival of the Fittest' and she believes that only the strongest should thrive.

HISTORY
She doesn’t talk about it.
Not her family, not her upbringing. Her accent and her name says she’s of German descent to some degree, but she likes to portray herself as an enigma. Her home life had been nothing to write home about; it had been harsh and rough, but she survived and her siblings survived. As soon as she was 18, she was going to enlist in the army. Anything to get away -- she wasn’t like her siblings.
Too much anger, not enough places to direct it. Her father said the army would help her. Sort her out. Get her stable.
If only he knew, right?
When her family left her at the training camp, that was the last time she saw them. When basic training was over, she was deploying immediately to some far off country. Imagine deserting the military. After three years, she went AWOL. Joined up with a private military company -- CERBERUS.
They weren’t good, not by a long shot. She did things that she wasn’t proud of, and the war crimes she committed were nothing short of abhorrent. The money she made? If her family knew how she was making it, she doubted they’d be willing to accept it. But whatever. It helped her siblings get through college. Pay off the mortgage. She was so helpful -- so useful.
The world was changing, though.
She had been born a little after the ‘Age of Villains’ began. Now? ‘Pro Heroes’ were a thing. It was stupid, as far as she was concerned. The ‘Age of Villains’ was an honest time. People were at their purest. Now? It was just nothing but people trying to be more than what they were -- lying and trying to act like they were actual paragons of virtues when they were just as dirty as they rest.
She hated it.
When she was tasked with going to Japan and establishing a CERBERUS branch there, she didn’t complain. She was given the bare minimum, but it’d be enough. She had her own connections she could utilize, and from there… Well, she’d get to work. CERBERUS was changing in tandem with the world, and she’d see her mission through, no matter what.
