Meiko knew what type of stalker Susumu was. She was the destructive type, while Meiko herself was the obsessive type. Destructive stalkers were vultures or leeches. They would stalk their prey, learn everythig about them and then slowly but surely destroy them. But not before making their lives hell. Meiko on the other hand was the obsessive stalker. Where as Susumu was just interested in G's violent side. Meiko was obsessed over every aspect of G. Even the mundane civillian parts. Where as Susumu just wanted G sexually. Meiko wanted him both sexually and romantically. This is what set them apart. Even the ways they stalk were different. Susumu kept it digitally, while Meiko kept it traditional. Meiko realized that they were to team up, they could be quite a team. "Well, that sounds fun" Susumu told an obvious lie through a smile. She then said how G has a legal job at a music store. And she was right, he wouldnt want them there. Well, at least not both at once. Meiko knew that G wouldnt mind some company at work. But she knew he was picky about that, like how the girl behaves at his work place. But she knew he would be overwhelmed if both of them arrived there at once.
Susumu then asked about his real name and in exchange for what? A bunch of photos?? "Oh? Well. A few measly pictures arent worth anything compared to seeing him live. But I will tell you what those pictures could give you. His hometown and his initials" Meiko said
She would have told Susumu his full name. But knowing Susumu was the destructive type stalker. She couldnt do it. She doesnt want Susumu to destroy him. Meiko thought about telling her more things, if Susumu promised not to compromise him. Meiko definitely sensed the same thing as G. That Susumu was untrustworthy. If she wanted more info, she needed to either change or jump to a new plaything

"You're so silly, Meiko-chan. Photos have such a beautiful permanence that real life can't keep up with! You could use as your background of your phone, or post them next to your bed, so you can always see him even when he's far away!" Alternatively you could have a hidden camera set up in his room and a live feed going at all times, but that was super expensive and excessive, even for Susumu. She would just stick to peeking into his laptop and cellphone cameras when the chance presented itself. Sadly, Meiko didn't share her sentiment, and wasn't going to give her what she wanted in exchange...though the offer of his hometown and initials was decent. It just meant she'd need to do a bunch of guesswork to get the juicy things. Ugh, hacking immigration and cross-referencing would be such a pain in the ass, and that was if he came to Japan legally.
Ah well, beggars couldn't be choosers.
"Deal! I would show you what I have, but...you destroyed my laptop." She pursed her lips, eyes narrowed and looking at the wrecked piece of electronics behind her sunglasses. "So unless you have a computer bag magically hidden on your person, you'll need to wait for me to get you the goods until I have a new one in front of me. Which could be..."
She paused for a moment, then tilted her head back to look upwards at the ceiling. Her eyes unfocused. Hmm. Maybe there was something this girl and her recently deceased toy could do for her after all. Behind the tinted glass of her sunglasses the hazel of her eyes faded out to an empty white, and like a switch flipped on an old television set, they suddenly filled with grainy, grey-scale static that consumed both iris and whites alike. Her vision was suddenly not in the cafe at all. She was a block away, peering through the still running laptop camera in a modernly decorated bedroom. The only light was the screen. Everything was shrouded in long, deep blue shadows, including the swaying figure suspended from a rope in the center.
His fingers had blood on them, she noticed, and her lips quirked. Too bad. He must have done something wrong, or had second thoughts and tried to claw himself free. Alas. It wasn't her problem now.
"If you want, you can steal me a laptop. I know one that's currently unoccupied in an apartment near here. Nobody is there. Spare key is hidden under a little decorative statue in the lobby. With how you look now, I bet nobody would bat an eye. What do you say? As an act of good faith, you could even keep the computer and sell it off, or take anything else from the apartment. I'm sure it'd fetch a high price."
And this is how I see just how much fun you might be.

Meiko listened to Susumu as she spoke "You're so silly, Meiko-chan. Photos have such a beautiful permanence that real life can't keep up with! You could use as your background of your phone, or post them next to your bed, so you can always see him even when he's far away!"
She hated to admit it, but Susumu kind of had a point. Luckily it was a deal. But there was a small problem. Her laptop got stabbed by the dagger. ...Whoops...
Susumu talked more, but suddenly stopped as it looked like her eyes turned to static. Meiko just waved infront of her face. And Susumu didnt react. It was like she went blind. But then she suddenly spoke "If you want, you can steal me a laptop.
Meiko wasnt sure if she was blind or not. But she took the offer. "Kay. I'll do it"

Meiko's immediate answer gave Susumu all the more reason to grin. So she was more fun that she appeared. Excellent. That sort of reckless abandon reminded her of G, and that made it all the more endearing, and valuable. "Wonderful. The address is--" she rattled off the man's building, floor, and room, "--now be careful, like I said nobody is there, but that doesn't mean nobody might come in. They shouldn't. But I trust this isn't the first time you've taken something that didn't belong to you? Don't take too long. Be safe and be quick! I would hate to have to tell our beloved Boss that his friend got in trouble."
Or maybe she wouldn't. In fact, she might love it. What kind of face would G make hearing that a trusted friend had been arrested? Would he be furious? Would he do something dangerous? Hmm. The thought rooted itself in her head and wouldn't leave. Perhaps someday soon she would need to see just how much pressure it took to break him, really and truly. And if seeing this foolish girl take a bullet was what she had to do to achieve it, then, well, necessary sacrifice.
But not today, and not right now. She did need a new laptop after all.

And your thread's been graded! Results: - Susumu: +35 EXP
- Meiko: +13 EXP
I really liked the thread itself. Hacker-y stuff is always fun, plus the underlying tension between the two at the beginning really kicks it up a notch. I would've liked to possibly see some more info from G himself but eh, can't have everything stuffed in there am I right? Keep in mind, some of your posts were below the 200 word threshold. This is specifically for Meiko as a good number of your posts have been given zero EXP. You've also resorted to rewriting what Susumu had said and I didn't count that into your word count. Again, put a little more effort into your descriptions and try to, instead of rewriting what another character had said, maybe expanding on the reactions and thoughts of Meiko herself. Till next time!
