A ritzy cafe on the edge of Tokyo's prestigious shopping district was the perfect place to have lunch for many of Japan's well-to-do. Heroes, politicians, business CEO's, and sometimes just the children of these wealthy individuals would flock in to buy small portions of ridiculously expensive foods--some of which were as plain as a box of grapes, and yet the still sold for two-hundred thousand yen. People really would spend money on anything. There was no room to talk or judge since Susumu was among those fools parting with their hard-earned (or not) money.
She was dressed for the part as well, Her green hair was held back with a set of elegant white pins which were decorated with real opals, sparkling in the sunlight from the window; her shawl was made of sheer silk, entirely pink, with purple "paper" flowers sewn here and there, with a matching skirt; and beneath her shawl and skirt she wore a matching white t-shirt and shorts, both of which were so pristine that they may as well be made of freshly fallen snow. She looked entirely the part of a woman--or girl--with money to spend on both the highest fashion and most frivolous foods, but also the kind to not worry about dirtying her pretty clothes with working.
Susumu loved that people would judge her based on her looks.
In fact, she reveled in it.
Still, the last piece of her outfit was a pair of sunglasses that entirely shrouded her eyes from view with deeply tinted lenses, the frames of which were the same shade of purple as the flowers on her shawl and skirt. They hid her eyes from view, making it easier to do what she was actually doing in this cafe asides from fiddling with her laptop and eating overly-priced sweets.
For Susumu wasn't really looking at her laptop screen. No, no, she was several buildings away from here, peering into the barely lit room of the man she'd been keeping tabs on for the last week and a half. The room itself had once been quite nice. A bedroom in a flat in an expensive part of town, all decorated with modern furniture--from what she'd seen when he brought his laptop into the other rooms--and kept nice and clean. It was a gorgeous flat, and he himself wasn't hard to look at either. Unfortunately for him he'd caught Susumu's wandering eyes, and earned her ire in the process.
In the last week, she had destroyed his picture perfect life. First, she'd stolen his credit card information and identification from all those websites he foolishly thought were safe. Then she bought some deliciously incriminating things with it: memberships to pornographic sites, dating services for those seeking to cheat on their partners, services with "escorts" and the like...then left the sites open for his pretty little girlfriend to find. The fight had been glorious. Partially because her Quirk seemed to increase the volume of her voice, and Susumu had been able to hear them from the street below. Yow. Then after she'd left him Susumu had gotten him fired. His rent was due tomorrow. His family wasn't returning his calls--she'd rewired them to go through her cellphone, and had been screening them out--and none of his friends were responding to him online. He had stopped taking those pills he had in the bathroom. He'd started drinking heavily. The world was crumbling around him, and Susumu was watching from her comfortable chair in a cafe half a block away, as he sat in the dark with only his laptop screen illuminating the bedroom.
...the rope in his hand was long enough to reach the ceiling beam.
...he flung it up, missing three times, before he managed to...
Susumu closed her eyes and opened them again, a grin spreading over her lips as her vision snapped back to her tinted glasses and the gray world past them, looking now at the screen in front of her displaying a cute video of cats chasing a laser pointer.
Ahh, today was off to a grand start.

It was a good day to be alive. Meiko finally managed to track the person she was looking for, her crush. She heard that he likes to go to cafes. So Meiko dressed up in her civillian clothes to blend in and try to meet him. She wore a lavander coloured, long sleeved loose collared button-up shirt which shows her front belly, white pants and lavender heeled boots.
Meiko sat in the cafe and made her order. She was also looking if her 'target', her crush would be there. But looking around, the only notable person she saw was some puke green haired girl. She looked fancy. Meiko noticed the girls shit eating grin and thought to herself "She better not be waiting for MY man"
She mentally rolled her eyes when seeing the girl, but discreetly kept an eye on her, to make sure she wasnt moving in on her guy. If he was to come here, that is.

More people came into the cafe dressed to impress to eat their fancy sweets and coffees. Susumu barely paid them any mind as she browsed her laptop for nothing in particular. Hmm, that little "project" of hers had gone so well, but now that it was over she needed something new to do. Any new work on her website? No, quite as could be. Shame. Summer was usually quiet until the holiday came around, then it was nothing but perverts asking her to spy on their object of affection while they were away. Pssh, some people. Still, she wasn't without her own thrills. Clicking away from her main page she checked a little application she had running in the background that appeared to be tracking a cellphone.
Ahh, Genzu, her sweet sweet Genzu. He must be at work today, given how long he'd been in that one music shop in Musutafu. Maybe she should visit. Give him a little "motivation" to help him through the boring normal day before he could get back to his real work at night.
She sighed dreamily.
Maybe she should set up something really fun for him. A robbery, maybe, at his place of employment? Something where he can go all-out and receive no punishment, no blame. Or perhaps she could hire some strong villain to try to actually kill him. A fire-user. That way he had a fighting chance, and if he came out on top...mmmmm, the rush he would have from winning would make for an explosive evening. What if they managed to get the upper-hand on him, though?
I can always shoot them before they kill him.
But why bother? If he was weak, then there was no fun in it.
It would be a waste of money if he died. And I'd lose my new toy.
Sound reasoning made, Susumu clicked off the app to the picture she'd taken on that fateful night. She'd uploaded it from the cloud and edited two versions: one with the corpse visible and G's face blocked out, and another where only G was visible. The first would be posted to an image site when the time was right. The one that showed G's face, though, was her personal little treasure. "Heheh, Boss looks so flattering in that lighting...I wonder if he'd let me take more photos~"

Meiko eventually got her drink but she still kept an eye on the puke green hair girl. She made sure to try and hear what she was saying, but due to outside ambient noise, she didnt quite hear what the girl had to say. Something something Boss. Meiko just angrily sipped her drink, her discreet glances turned into death glares.
Something about this girl, just wasnt sitting right with her. Was it a hunch? Womans intuition or paranoia? Meiko didnt know, but something kept telling her that this girl is bad news
"Should I lure her out and deal with her?" Meiko quietly thought Or maybe she should just confront her. Meiko just sipped her drink and watched. What was a discreet glance was an angry death stare.
But then something caught her eye. She saw her crush on thet girls laptop! That was it. Meiko got up and tapped the girl on her shoulder. The confrontation is beginning

Did...did somebody just tap her shoulder?
Susumu blinked behind her sunglasses, her fingers moving quickly to minimize any offensive tabs--G's picture zoomed off the screen--before she turned to look up at the stranger who'd just touched her. She had to lower her sunglasses to the tip of her nose to see them clearly. Huh. All those pale colors made her look like she was dressed entirely in white to Susumu, but her hair and eyes were dark. Not unattractive, but not really eye-catching either. Around her age, maybe? With the cold look on her face it was hard to tell. Gosh, was this person angry at her? How unusual. Susumu normally had to do something to get that sort of reaction. Turning to face the stranger with her whole torso she gave her a wide, toothy smile. It might have been predatory, were it not for her sparkling purple lipstick. Or maybe it still was. Who knows.
"Ummm, I'm pretty sure you're not a waitress bringing me my drink, but if you are, I think your boss needs to teach you not to go tapping the customers. It's not polite. Do you need something?"
Like maybe a different person to bother in the middle of their work? tagged: Meiko Hagane || word count: 211 || notes: little miss don't-touch-me-when-I'm-thinking-about-the-beau-kthx

Oh the sass. The girl thought she was a hotshot. Meiko felt the girls voice. It's as if she tried to claw her out with just using her voice. It was clear this was now becoming a verbal cat fight. And thus, since it was a verbal battle. Meiko talked "A bit slow with your fingers, arent'cha? I already saw what you had on the screen, no need to cover it up" She then sits at Susumu's table, ignoring the drink she left at her own table. Focusing on this girl was Meiko's prime mission. She needed to know, why was the girl looking at her guy. The guy who was supposed to be here at this exact cafe. "Do tell, what's a girl like you, lookng at a guy like him?" Meiko asked, sounding as if she doesnt know G and as if she's not connected to him at all
Now she's putting up a farse, as if she's just an average civillian confronting a suspicious person looking at a criminals photos. Meiko then proceeded to just turn the laptop towards her. She wanted to see what dirt was Susumu hiding. What did she have on G.

"Sorry, where does it say 'public use' on my laptop?" Susumu's voice cut in sharp, with added volume, her smile replaced with an irate scowl as the woman started to turn her computer towards her. She snapped the laptop shut on her fingers with a loud noise, but the action was more a dramatic cover-up to her palming a miniature flash-drive that had been embedded in it's side. Hopefully the pain of getting the screen shut on her made her miss that detail. "I don't know where you get your attitude, Missy, but here on the nice side of the tracks people know to keep their noses out of people's business unless you want to be noticed."
From behind her sunglasses Susumu's eyes flickered to the tables surrounding them. As she had warned a few strangers had already looked towards them at the noise and her raised voice. Her gaze returned to Meiko with the air of affronted innocence.
What a hypocrite.
"So I suggest..." her smile returned in a slow, cold curl, "...you rethink your approach, before the cute fellas behind the counter press the panic button. A girl like you looks the type who'd want to avoid that mess. Now. How about you ask your question again a little nicer?" tagged: Meiko Hagane || word count: 203 || notes: don't make a scene, Meiko, neither of us can afford cops <w<;;

Oh? So missy thought she was big and scary? She thought a few gazes could scare Meiko. "So I suggest you rethink your approach, before the cute fellas behind the counter press the panic button. A girl like you looks the type who'd want to avoid that mess. Now. How about you ask your question again a little nicer?" She even had the audacity to put up a smug ass smile
Meiko then also smiled "A different approach? Oh yes. You're right" Meiko said as she then pulled out a dagger from her left temple and stabbed Susumu's laptop "How's this for a different approach? Tell me, what were you looking at him. What's your deal with The Boss?"
Meiko was not in the mood for bullshit. She wanted results. And this smug nerd was not gonna make her back down. If a rumble was to happen, then so be it. It was not like Meiko had much to do with her 'civillian' identity. She mostly just wanted to woo The Boss. But seeing as he wasnt here. That could only mean "Are you the reason he's not here??"

Well that escalated quickly. Her thinly veiled threat had been ignored--no, rather, it had been taken behind the barn and shot--and the strange woman had produced a knife from her body, stabbed it through the top of her laptop, and now the entire cafe had turned to look at the pair of them with alarm. Somebody had taken out their phone and was clearly about to start filming. The cashiers were inching their fingers towards that tell-tale panic button by the registers. This woman was insane. Reckless. Dangerous. Her best bet would be to scream and let the public take care of this for her.
Since when did Susumu ever do what was best for her?
Instead, after a genuinely stunned pause, she began to clap her hands. "Bravo, bravo Yumi-chan! Wow, I was really, super scared for a moment! You're going to pass that role as a villain for sure!"
The crowd hesitated, clearly not sure of what the hell was going on. Susumu kept a bright and cheery smile on until the cameras lowered and the people slowly began to go back to their own business. With one last gale of happy laughter she dropped her voice back down to a quiet pitch, her long fingernails drumming against her busted computer.
Poor thing. It was barely a year old. Oh well, new model for her.
"Like, for real, you are insane? Why the hell would he be in such a ritzy fucking cafe during work hours? He's at his job, you crazy bitch. I can call him for you if you need proof. I have his phone number. Which...huh, if he really is your boss, then why don't you have it?" As she spoke, Susumu pulled out her cellphone and swiped to her contacts screen. She turned to flash it at Meiko from across the table.
Clear as day on the screen was the word "Boss-Nya" with several heart emojis surrounding it, followed by G's phone number...
...and his email, which he hadn't given to her...
...and his apartment address, where he'd never invited her...
...and the number of the music store he worked at, which she had never visited, or even seen in person...
...and a photograph of him sleeping, which--
You get the idea.

Obviously, she wasnt thinking clearly. She was used to doing wild and reckless things. But because she spent so little time as a civillian, she forgot that this time she wasnt wearing a mask that would cover her face up. Susumu then quickly put on an act that this was all just joshing around and stuff and thus made the public look away. She could have screamed. But didnt. She actually showed superiority by keeping it cool and standing her ground. Which also pissed off Meiko
She then started asking her if she was insane and why would he be here during work hours..... What work hours? Last time she checked, he didnt have a legal job, and he used to come here. She even has his phone number?...But then she started accusing Meiko why didnt she have his phone number. Well....she did. But...she was too scared to call him. She didnt want to come across as stalkerish.
But then Susumu showed her that she indeed has his phone number and email and appartment address and the phone of the place he was apparently working at and a photo of him sleeping "You're a stalker??" she said shocked, she almost ALMOST added 'too' at the end. Meiko also knew where he lived, she had his phone number, but she didnt have an email or a phone of his workplace. Although, she would spy on him using some binoculars.
When Susumu accused her of not having his number, then Meiko quickly pulled out her phone "I have his number! And I'll prove it to you" She then made the call and put the phone on speaker so both could hear him
It rang for a good minute or two, until... "Who dis?" Lady Lavande didnt want to introdouce herself infront of an enemy "Its me, Boss. Y'know from last month" Meiko tried to keep it vague. She knew 'last month' was enough to jog his memory, considering he never went with 2 women at once "Last month? You're the.....ohhh...You're whats her face....umm...Lavender Skull... Right?" well, he remembered Meiko.............'s username. "So... why was I called?" If Susu wanted, she could now join in the conversation

Susumu's lips twitched into more of a smirk at Meiko's accusation. Well, she couldn't deny that she had obtained this information in a less than legal manner. Or stalked any random person who peaked her interest. G was different though--he was special, for now anyway--and that another girl accused her of just being his stalker was a little insulting. At least the girl had his phone number. That gave her a little more weight than if she'd just been some hopelessly irritating suitor tailing after him without any actual connection
And G not remembering her name made for excellent schadenfreude.
"Hey there sweetie-pie! It's your girl Susu!~" She chirped cheerfully, "You're on speaker phone so be careful what you say, heheh! Your crazy ex here smashed my laptop and threatened me with a knife. All while I was minding my own business. Isn't that horrible? Next time you hook up with a lady, maybe you should mention her as a warning? I wouldn't have minded it. It might have even been hot."
She flashed her eyes over the rims of her sunglasses at Meiko.
"What do you think, Genzu-nya? Is she dangerous? Should I come running to your arms for protection? Or just let the shop see that she's crazy and get the cops called?"

All while I was minding my own business. Isn't that horrible? Next time you hook up with a lady, maybe you should mention her as a warning? I wouldn't have minded it. It might have even been hot."
It took him a few minutes to remember who Susu was. If there was one thing for sure G was bad with remembering names and faces. But it clicked to him "Oh...that...She's not my crazy ex. We worked together like a month ago.... I mean. If you're talking about hot stuff, I wouldnt mind it. I can reel her in. Besides, she's the most trustworthy person I met. A bit unhinged, but trustworthy. Dont worry about her. Just dont antagonize her. I think I influenced her and gave her bad temper. Anyway Lady L. Chill. Try not to kill eachother. And both of you behave. I'll have a talk with both of you later. Right now Im busy"
That was all G said. Meiko wasnt sure if she should end the call or not. She just glanced at Susu. She thought she was one for, but then she said "You do realize she's stalking you. Right? She has your email and appartment address and she knows where you work and she has a photo of you sleeping" G who was on the other line was silent for a moment, before arefully choosing his words "Another stalker? Figured as much. I dont mind it... much. But a message to both of you. If you two stalk me and look at things that shouldnt be seen. You're dead. Plain and simple. Now, can we solve your catfight issue peacefully or do I have to go over there and step in personally??"

So they hadn't even hooked up? That felt like such a wasted chance there. Though if they worked together, considering Meiko's previously displayed Quirk, whatever they had done must have been violent. Dangerous. Mmm. What did he say after that? Oh, to not kill each other and that maybe he could reel her in for some "fun". Susumu giggled in delight at the thought. "If anyone could do it, Genzu-nya, it would be you. You bad boy, stealing all the girls. She is pretty cute, though!" Shame about the shitty attitude.
Ah, and those loose lips. Susumu's eye twitched behind her thick glasses. She wasn't ashamed of the manner of which she got her information, but the way Meiko kept saying it made it sound dirty. What a hungry. hungry hypocrite. G didn't seem to mind too much at least.
"I promise I'll be good, Boss. Unless you want us to revolve it less peacefully. I bet I can buy some good quality pudding to wrestle in!"
She grinned wide at Meiko, though it didn't reach her eyes. So G wanted her to play nice with a colleague of his. How annoying. He was lucky she was so into him right now or she'd have this chickadee put in her place. That being a cell. She'd respect his request for now, though, since she wanted to see how their beautiful little disaster ended, and it was far too early for things to come to a stop here. Her long nails idly traced the handle of the knife still sticking out of her laptop while she waited for G or Meiko to end the call.
"Want to start over then, if Mistah G wants us to play nice? I'll go first. I'm Chiba Susumu. You can call me Chiba-chan. I'm nineteen, I like cats, and I've been sleeping with Genzu-nya for maybe...a week? A little under, probably. I caught him killing some thug in the park and we wound up in a love hotel, like, half an hour later. It was magnificent."
Not that you would know.
"For the record, I don't follow him around like a dog. I only track him digitally. Girl's gotta do her own work before she can play, y'know? Speaking of, what did you two work on together? Was it violent?"

"Dont worry Boss. You solved everything as always~" "Kay. Then bye" "Bye!"
They ended the call. Although an idea crossed her mind. She was hesistant about it, but maybe the two stalkers could...work together? But seemingly Susumu had the same idea as she introdouced herself. Meiko then decided to introdouce herself the same way "It seems so. Very well then. Meiko Hagane. I'm 18, I like dogs, and I've slept with G last month. I saw himkill a lot of people. Long story how he met. But yea...love hotel. It was amazing~"
Susumu then explained that she follows him digitally. Hmm, well that has its pros, but it also has its cons. Susumu then asked Meiko what did the two work together on "Digitally huh? Well...that could be good. But I know his offline stuff. Stuff that cant be found online. As for what did we work together on. I'd say, he'd keep violence to himself. We worked on some of his more casual things. I know that the more he trusts people, the more he lets them into his casual private life."she tried to sound awesome and badass, but she kinda danced around Susumu's question of what they worked together on. Meiko didnt want to say that they made videos for the internet. Like dancing, for example. He also helped Meiko for her own video which she titled "Boy-FRIEND Does My Makeup Tutorial Voiceover". The collaborated on a more friendly and less deadly sense.
Susumu may have known everything about G digitally. But Meiko knew things on a more intimate level. She knew his likes, dislikes, his true personality. She knew that G was a faker on the internet, giving false internet troll info. True, on the internet he did have some info. But they were breadcrumbs of his true self.

Oh, never mind, they had slept together. That made them Eskimo sisters! How fun! Susumu snickered again at Meiko's confirmation that her time with G had been great. Nice to know he was always such a lady killer. Despite her obsessive behavior, Susumu wasn't the slightest bit jealous knowing another woman had been with her new toy a month ago--or even that she was following him around--if anything it was kind of pleasant having somebody in the same boat as her. Then again, a month was kind of a long time for Susumu to be interested in a person.
She recalled the man that must have been dead by now in his apartment, alone, with nobody to know of his fate until the landlord came for rent. He'd lasted maybe as long as she'd been sleeping with G. Very little more. In such a short amount of time she'd unraveled his whole life and left it to rot. G was more interesting. And, honestly, she couldn't imagine killing him the way she had that poor bastard.
The world needed people like him. Monsters who thought they were just human enough to slip by. The massive fool.
But she did love him so.
Sadly it seemed his and Meiko's collaborative efforts were all the boring type. He keeps his violence to himself? So was Susumu the lucky one to get strangled in bed, or was Meiko oblivious? Bleh. She didn't care about casual friendly stuff, she wanted the murderous beast she'd caught on film. That was where the fun was. So Meiko saw his precious trust. Who cares. Susumu got no thrill out of kindness.
"Well, that sounds fun," she lied through a smile, sure that butter wouldn't have melted in her mouth right now, "Did you know he works at a music store now? They're a nice little place, or so I've seen from pictures and google maps. He probably wouldn't want us to visit." Susumu sighed and leaned back with her hand still fidgeting with the knife in her laptop. Would it disappear soon? Most Quirks she knew that summoned items couldn't keep them around permanently. If so that would be a very impressive ability. "Do you know his real name by any chance? He gave me the name Genzu, but he's so obviously not Japanese, so I can't believe him. I'll trade you a few pictures for it~"
Ah, bargaining information. Here was her comfort zone.
