LIKES

✔ Baozi
✔ Strong People
DISLIKES
✖ People Who Disrespect Women
✖ Being Mocked or Humiliated
✖ Cowardice
Personality:
To put him in a few words: A blade that cuts sharply upon being touched. Nao is best described as being a borderline classical anti-hero, in that he is not necessarily a morally questionable character, but he lacks traditionally heroic qualities. For example, he is somebody who fundamentally keeps the morality of the innate goodness of man, but at same time also accepts evil. He does not see great difference in justice and evil, but if someone's behavior offends his rationality, he will bring a swift beating.
A young adult still into his teens, Nao swings his fist of his own accord, devoting everything he has to fight a formidable and tough enemy, and being a martial artist with even some austere sense. His lifestyle is harsh with little room for comforts or luxuries, but when he does get the opportunity to do so, he indulges greedily. Someone who simply (not purely) sought for strength, who has yet to discover the valor of the strength of conviction, one's way of life, instead the strength of violence.
Not to say he is a bad person. He can be rude at times, especially to people he doesn't like, but he still holds onto his humanity with the outlook of a "sensible person" that esteems rationality, which is often noted in his willingness to help and defend others. Ultimately however, he is not a pure soul. In the event if its between him and someone else, he will always put himself first, as that is the most "rational" thing to do, even if outwardly heartless. For he is only human, and humans are by nature, selfish creatures who seek their own self-preservation.

HISTORY
Náo Wáng hails from mainland China, and is one of the modern practitioners of the over 4,000 year legacy of Chinese Martial Arts, otherwise known as Kung Fu. The granddaddy of hand-to-hand fighting has been practiced for centuries in China, and used by its warriors to deadly effect for just as long. Náo began practicing from a early age, due to the fact he was diagnosed with "quirklessness," a rare condition that only 22% of people have nowadays. He was bullied and mocked for it, and due to the nature of Chinese culture, it affected him more then if he was born elsewhere, as in China ones status and how well your reputation is means almost everything.
He took up Kaimen Bajiquan (開門八極拳, "Open-Gate Eight-Extremities Fist"), or just Bejiquan, one of the thousand schools of Kung Fu and one of the most renown. He started from the young age of 14 and continued onward until he turned 18, effectively practicing the martial art for roughly 4 years. However he felt like he wasn't getting anywhere, and decided to take page from the Japanese and undergo the Warrior's Pilgrimage (武者修行, Musha Shugyō), an ascetic quest without destination in which one wanders the land, practicing and honing their skills, without the protection of his family or school.
Despite warnings that he is far too young to undergo such a harsh journey, he had already packed up his backpack and left home, deciding that if he was gonna make his first journey anywhere, it is towards Japan.
