Bit by bit...
He was changing and he wasn't completely sure what was up with that, ya know?
It's like he was growing hair on his usually bald head, which was like reverse aging, his eyes were shifting and so was his skin. Oddly enough, his height remained the same and his body type more or less didn't dun goof on changing much at all either. Some weird shit, though and he didn't notice since it was subtle here and there...but it hit him like a goddamn dump truck when he found himself standing in front of the mirror. Sleepily brushing away at his teeth then it sunk in like... "Who the fuck...?" Squinting at his own reflection, the tooth brush flopped out of his mouth and he reached up to touch his hair which...had...fucking blonde highlights?! "....what the fuck?"

This had to be some crazy ass occult shit!
Blonde boy what's his name at the bookstore might help but holy fuck no time for that, TIME TO GUZZLE AN ENTIRE BOTTLE OF WHISKEY! Okay, first of all he could be tripping balls right now, which maybe he was? Who knew?! KOZUE ITO SURE DIDN'T! Part of him wanted to contact Narcissa...but jesus, she had so much on her plate and just went through things not too long ago...she didn't need his drama. Someone else could take the mantle of drama...
Taking out his phone, he rapidly text the zombie looking dude who kicked his ass in the karaoke competition, mad respect to him.

Since it was morning and too early for this shit, he legit downed the whiskey and took a nap in a drunken stupor.

When the evening came, he finally sobered up and realized this was it, this is his new face and the reality he was forced to accept. Sure, his hotness went up in a way and didn't need to constantly worry about flashlight eyes...but it was an adjustment...plus...he actually liked how he looked before. Whatever...all he could do for now was embrace it...right? Standing out there in a red suit...he omitted a hat for a change since...wow...what a trip to actually have hair and it blowing through the breeze.....

[attr="class","ren"]MY BROKEN HEART IS BEATING EVEN STILL DESPITE EVERYTHING Hinata dismissed the changes at first. It all started with some of his hair in his bangs turned into a stark white. He assumed it was all the stress in his life catching up to him finally. You know, growing old and all that bullshit.

It was a bit more startling when some of his skin started to darken in patches until it grew out into a sort of turtle shell-like design over most of his body. But once again, he dismissed it as nothing and made sure to cover-up more in front of his students. In hindsight, he probably should've noticed it by now.

But it took him screaming at his reflection as he brushed his teeth this morning. He initially thought somebody had broken into his house, and he started pumping his quirk out into a thick and blinding miasma-that set his fire alarm off. It was awkward, to say the least, to talk to your landlord with a new face and getting asked to speak to your old self. Hinata had to use his quirk a little bit to explain and show to his landlord it was him, which took an hour. And an hour after that to clear all the miasma out of his apartment.

By the time he was all done, he only had an hour to get to his class, and Hinata, for the first time being a U.A. teacher, used a sick day. Or rather, he wasn't an unreasonably worrying sort, so he explained what happened to the principal and that Hinata needed a day or so to adjust to what happened and if he could contact Nimue to see if what happened is natural or what. The boss man agreed to both and let him have two days off today for the shock and the appointment with Nimue or other medical professionals if she's too busy.

Hinata, after ending the call, then realized he has a text from that metal man from the karaoke contest that he whooped his ass. Which he promptly smile at being brought up, which made Hinata feel weird since he hasn't smiled that broadly since---ever. This whole unmutilated face deal was freaky as all hell, and he got so used to his old face that he was even starting to like it. He wasn't sure how to feel about this new face of his. HAVE HIS EYES ALWAYS BEEN YELLOW?! Hinata looked at his phone and texted Metal boi back.

"God yes, Also fair warning I need to get fucked up tonight by drinks man-"

Hinata then realized it was too early for drinks he covered himself in a blanket cocoon of uncertainty and watched anime until he needed to leave.

By the time of Evening, Hinata was all anime'd out- he hasn't watched that anime since- hell, he couldn't quite remember when. Hinata was extra-extra with his disguise of mask, scarf, and sunglasses-at night- since he wasn't used to his whole new "glow up" as Kyouko would say. Also, was his ears always so pointy? God, this is so weird. But at least his scars didn't ache or feel weird from the wind hitting them. But this whole thing was weird, so it was only of little comfort. Hinata waited outside the bar next to a hot person in a red suit with long flowing locks with blond highlights, they were cute to be honest. But not his type sadly- maybe with this new face he could hook up more- no focus on meeting metal boi, they were supposed to meet up here, but he hasn't arrived yet, what the hell, man.

Fuck, looks like he wasn't the only one going through a rough patch with his life and YIKES! That just legit affirmed his concerns about how this might actually be more along the lines of some wild occult level craziness...like...uh...you know, a curse or the position of the moon? God, maybe he should really hit up the bookstore again and have a chat with the owner again after all since it didn't seem like he'd be viewed as nuts. Ugh...hopefully not something disrespectful either cause you know what? He was fresh in his thirties and he wasn't about to point the finger of blame at his quirk, something that's been around for this many years!

He was finding it easier to use various electronic devices, navigate through programs and sifting out bits of code...that shit was getting much easier. All these years, his quirk was mostly like...haha your vocal cords and body are weird, living off switch...geeze. Honestly, he was so used to looking unusual, not being able to blend in with the crowd...but his ears were more normal, as were his eyes and even his skeletal structure was different. Not to mention the head of hair...ooo he could dye the blonde parts to be different colors! Well, it definitely had its perks at least! Suuuure, he looked like a tin man, still...but more humanoid than before? Might be easier to blend in with a crowd...heh...nice.
...standing there, it...felt like a lot of time had gone by and he even had someone standing near him, bundled up like winter was coming...or he was a hobo. Taking out his phone from his jacket for a hot second, he glanced at the time and let out a groan, "Can ya believe it!? I was s'posed'ta meet a friend of mine here and he ain't even showin' up yet!" Unlocking his screen, he grumpily started typing a text, pouting at his screen while glaring daggers at the screen...
Buddy, bucko, pal, chum, where the fuck you at? I've got some pointy eared guy bundled like a burrito standing next to me. Kinda cute, not my type but might you your kinda guy, if you show up I'll hook you two up ;D

[attr="class","ren"]MY BROKEN HEART IS BEATING EVEN STILL DESPITE EVERYTHING Damn, this person was having quite the facial journey as he looked dreadful, annoyed, and eventually angry. Hinata could only let out a small whisper of " mood." to himself as he focuses back on his phone screen as he waits for the man he is supposed to meet up with here. Hinata let out a sigh. Even as bundled up as he was, it was still chilly as the last of summer dies in the wind. Hinata pulls his scarf down a little bit to reveal more of his facial features since, to be honest, he isn't used to having a cheek on his left side, and he kept biting it by accident due to the scarf.

Suddenly the man-he figured due to his deep and yet familiar voice- spoke up and complained, and Hinata couldn't help but not sagely at the man and agreed as he says. "Preaching to the choir, my good dude, I'm waiting for my friend too, and he's making me wait." As he went back to his phone as it vibrates in his pocket, and he unlocks it to see who it was if it wasn't that metal bastard-he'd be annoyed. He can't let anybody he knows see his new face without getting hammered first.

Hinata blinks with his yellow eyes at the screen as he reads it. Hinata blinks a few times at his phone, then he looks over at the metal man next to him and asks. "Ito?" Hinata asked the man when did he get hair? Is that a wig? No, his face changed too. Hinata, without another word and unraveled his scarf fully and took off his sunglasses, and he said. "holy fuck dude, we need to get drunk like right this second." Hinata said bluntly, "Oh, it's orange by the way, let's gets fucking wasted, I need drinks like yesterday also you called me cute." Hinata said as he drags Kozue into the bar by having his arm around the metal man's shoulder, usually, he'd be more conservative about touching people, but at this point, he gives no fucks at all.
