APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
It looks as if a dead body being dragged along by puppet strings. His arms are skinny and pale, littered with bruises, and his legs are hidden behind thick pants, that seem like they were two sizes to big. His shirt is a plain white t-shirt, and is covered in dirt and grime, in fact, his whole body would seem to be dirty..it would seem that Hakisura hasn't showered for a very long time. His body seems to be on the brink of collapse, constantly shaking as if he was cold, and his head hangs low, as if he's to ashamed to show his face. However, strangely enough, for a lad that looks as if he's been sleeping in a gutter for the past month, he's strangely "okay." He seems like he's well fed, and other than the bruises, there isn't a single cut or scratch visible on his skinny frame. It's almost appears like someone's keeping him on the very brink of what it means to be "healthy."

Personality:
What is there to say? He's weak, he's a coward, and he's to scared to take control of his own quirk. He knows this, and thus, tries to be something better than that...nothing. Nothing is better than something bad, so Hakisura strives to be nothing. He can't be weak if his body and soul is empty, he can't be a coward if his mind is a void, and he can't be scared to take back control over his quirk if he doesn't want control at all. This is the easiest way to be "better" right? Wrong. He's a smart kid. He knows that way of thinking is flawed. Trying to be nothing so that he he doesn't have to improve himself is cowardly in itself, thus making the rest of the plan pointless. Yet why? Why does he continue to be empty if he knows there's no point? Why not try to be better, like the heroes do? Why?
How dare he? How dare he even think to compare himself to the rest of society? He's not the same as them, he's below even the smallest worm. He doesn't deserve to be happy. He doesn't deserve the opportunity to be better himself. All he deserves is punishment. He deserves is the opportunity to wallow in his pool of uncertainty, he needs to continue to do nothing, so that feels the constant pain of his weakness. Because that's what he deserves, because that's what he amounts to, and that's all he ever will. Or at least, that's what his "protector" tells him.

"Its because he's worthless."

HISTORY
Trigger Warning ~ Implied abuse, bullying
Hakisura doesn't remember much about his real parents. He only recalls his father's heavy hands, and his mother who was always to scared to take action. Perhaps this is where he got his cowardice from? How humorous. He was taken from his family around the age of seven, and was to a grim place filled with kids like him. He hated it there. The other kids never interacted as much as the adults wanted them to, and this caused the atmosphere to always be thick and unwavering. He didn't stay there very long, and was soon taken to a place that was a lot more lighthearted. These kids were different than the others, they looked like they were still filled with hope, and were always laughing and playing. That's when Hakisura first started hearing the dark voice in the back of his head. Whenever he considered joining the other kids, and try to be happy like them, it's grating voice pierced his thoughts.

That's when Hakisura first started hearing the dark voice in the back of his head. Whenever he considered joining the other kids, and try to be happy like them, it's grating voice pierced his thoughts.
"Your worse than the other kids. Your trash. Why should you get to be happy?"
These negative thoughts plagued his conscience every time he had a positive thought. They kept him from making friends, they kept him from connecting with anyone. He didn't know why he had these thoughts, and didn't know how to stop them, so all of his early childhood was just a lonely abyss, and the only company he had was the voice. When Hakisura reached his early teens, he was moved again. This new place was a lot smaller than the ones he had been at before. And this was when he met the first person he could currently remember the name of, Kyle. From what he remembered, Kyle wasn't Japanese, and was much larger than all the other kids. It wasn't a positive thing he remembered Kyle either, it's just hard to remember your first bully. (The voice didn't count, he was a torturer, not a bully). Kyle made it his goal to try to make Hakisuras living hell worse than it already was. Before, it was mind that was broken, now, Kyle broke his body to. It was never anything serious at first, just punches and kicks and food being smashed. But it gradually got worse. Harkisura was a chair for Kyle, he was a foot stool for Kyle, he became a even larger outcast because of Kyle. This continued for about a year, until Kyle suddenly went missing. And Hakisura remembered, that the day before Kyle disappeared, he had crossed the physical line.... he had broken Hakisura's arm. Before, whenever Kyle did something minor, or insulted him, the voice had always agreed and told him he deserved it, but when Kyle broke his arm, the voice was silent. Dead silent. Kyle was gone the next day, and after reports of all the bullying at the home, the kids that stayed there were moved to new places. Well, almost every kid. When it was Hakisuras turn to get moved, he blacked out. When he woke up, he was in a dark tunnel that smelled like feces and piss, and was nearly entirely drenched in water. He stood up confused, and looked around, dazed. He rubbed his eyes, waking himself up, then came to the realization of where he was. He clenched his nose and gagged at the horrid smell. He looked around, unsure where to go, and when he heard that familiar voice... but this time it wasn't coming from his head. He turned around he screamed in fear. There, standing still and silent behind him, was what appeared to be the grim reaper wielding a massive scythe. He scuttled to the opposite wall and shut his eyes tight, hoping that he was just dreaming, or that the fumes of the sewer were making him crazy. The scythe wielding reaper chuckled in amusement. That's when it opened it's skeletal mouth and spoke in a unmistakable voice.
"You worthless fool. I am not a dream, nor a hallucination. I am your protector."
Tears streamed down Hakisuras face. He wanted to scream at it, and tell it that a protector wouldn't do the things it's done to him. But he was to scared to say. The reaper chuckled again.
"What do you mean? I've protected you. When Kyle harmed you, I dealt with him."
Hakisura continued bawling. What about all those other times? What about all those times where Kyle hurt him in other ways? What about those times that the reaper was the one to hurt him?
"I've never harmed you. I've only told you the truth, and Kyle was just giving you what you deserved for living. But when he broke your arm, that was to far. That is deadly if your not careful..and I can't let you die, for I am you protector."

He continued crying for quite some time, and when he finally stopped. The reaper glided towards him. Hakisura backed into the sewer wall as much as he could, and when the monster was directly in front of him, it dissipated into a gas/liquid form, and soaked itself into the young teens body. Hakisura sat there a second, stunned by what had just happened, until he was ordered to stand up and start walking. He didn't know where he was walking, or what the reaper was gonna do when they reached the surface, but Hakisura knew it wasn't gonna be good.
{My rp takes place several years after that. The reaper drags Hakisura all over Japan, keeping him fed and "healthy". And along the way, the "protector" kills any man, women, or child that get's in it's way or tries to get close to Hakisura, thus making the young sixteen year old a wanted villain/ serial killer}
