Sign up for interview class, it was just something very necessary alright? She couldn't deny that but even if she said she should take more leisure time and enjoy her time more often then continue to fight and train and all that jazz, that did not mean she would actually stop. Studying economy, working at the hotel and training and considering to develop herself as she was a third-year now. She should do something to get further, be on top of her game. The game she was designing herself it was rather tiring but she could do it. She was a Sakamoto after all and besides everything seemed to be going fine... ish? She wasn't sure what could be considered okay and good and so on, she was rather awkward when push came to shove and so on. It would be okay, this would be okay. It was just an interview and it wasn't like she did not watch those on television and so on. Still, one day hoping on such an internship but it was working, it was going that way, this was sort of that moment that she still needed to study. She did not know what she wanted to be like, whole her life had been surrounded by being wealthy and travel, to look elegant and pretty. While she looked absolutely anything but pretty when she was in combat training and so on.
The raven-haired girl was sure there was much to learn but at least she came prepared to look splendid for an interview. If this was going to be like a planned television interview that she one day might have, she would look her utmost best. She wore a high waste pair of trousers in a dark blue colour, and a light blue top with a turtle neck. Her long black hair was tied up in a high ponytail and she had tried to make sure she wasn't wearing too big loops for earrings and not too many bracelets. Elegance was key here and her make-up was just an easy eyeliner and mascara, with a fine-looking lipstick. She found her spot rather soon, going to read over the instructions and decide which question she should ask.
When it was her turn to sit down and get ready for the interview she would try to hold a little chitchat, but that felt so weird to do when her plan was never to be a journalist or something along the lines and she did not know Alviss, that was his name right? Cute though, red panda. "Hi, we haven't met before but I am Rowan Sakamoto." Seriously they pretend this was television but how else to start, she was just going to wing it, "I am from 3-B." It would be nice to give some information right. "So today will be an interview sort of style and it will be mostly about the idea of becoming a pro-hero, that being said what are you looking forward to most as a hero in training?" Not talking too long about everything and just getting to the point, that was Rowan and she was doing it again right now.

Signing up for an interview like class was a pretty cool idea for Alviss because he had never been in one and if he wanted to be prepared for hero work that meant that he would eventually be on television if he ever makes it in the big leagues. But that was neither here nor there.
It seems that the auditorium was being used as the staging area for the interviews. Alviss had not really picked his questions yet from the list but since his partner for this was already going for it he would have more time to think about it during the questions this girl would ask him.
Alviss placed his rear onto the seat as he was not really wearing anything other than his usual outfit. That being his long sleeve black shirt with an blue t-shirt over it. His leather gloves always on so that his claws did not get in the way or hurt anyone. He wore his usual blue jeans and sneakers too. As he had his big bushy tail move to the side of the chair when he sat down.
Looking over to his fellow student who introduced herself as an upper classman of his own class in 1-B. She was in 3-B it seemed and that got him excited. "Oh cool you're 2 years ahead of me in my class! I am in class 1-B myself." he said pretty energetically.
Pointing his gloved thumb at his face with a confident grin he would make his statement as the interviewee. "My name is Alviss Wulfhart, nice to meet you." Then to answer her question he would continue speaking after that. "What I am looking forward to as a hero in training is to be able to go out and show what I can do. I'm not much of a fighter yet but that's why I aim to get better at that and make a name for myself! If I can help people in the process then that would be pretty awesome as well." He answered honestly and with a smile on his face. Alviss was very confident in his way of speaking so it did sound like he knew what he was talking about at least. He wondered what the next question would be then?
He hoped it was something like asking what kind of hero he'd want to be but for this interview he should need to be ready for any kind of question, no matter how embarrassing it may or may not be.

Yumi sat in the seats that looked up to the stage, typically designated for drama club performances or if they wanted to hand out awards to the students, it was now being used for these interview practices which Yumi was thankfully able to act as a TA for. God this was really kind of nice, being seriously considered for such a role. She wondered if it was more her work with Asta or the fact that she'd been doing her teacher studies that had serperior take her request to help so seriously, but hey, results were results and she didn't mind whatever the reason may be for them, smiling up to the stage and making idle notes on her clipboard about how the two students approached one another.
Rowan was going to be interviewing first it seemed and Yumi looked to her notes to get an idea of what she should be grading her on. Serperior had specific ideas of how they should be graded for their involvement today and one part of it was their choice of attire. Their hero costumes were meant to be the best result with school uniforms worn correctly a step under that but... well, if you considered this was meant to be the attire they wore for interviews as a pro personal clothes would be better and she'd clearly made an effort...
The student she didn't personally recognize, Alviss, was coming up next and he wore much more casual attire, seemingly the kind of thing they might wear on an average day out. Yumi wasn't too fussed on giving them a lower score there. It was Serperior's marking scheme afterall so while she didn't agree with the idea that comfortable clothes were less appropriate for stuff like this, she just had to stick to the marking scheme to make sure she was doing her 'job' so to speak.
As for the actual questions, it seemed Like Rowan was pretty straightforward in getting down to business and Yumi made sure to make a note of that, while Alvis gave a playful answer that seemed to resonate well with her. For someone like Red Horn or Hellhound that seemed like it'd be a great answer but Yumi had to think of how to advise them here as best she could. It was a little weird having to act like a superior to Rowan, a girl in the same year as her, but she pushed through.
Yumi tapped the base of her pen against her chin. "A strong answer, shows some of your own personality, buuuut I might advise caution on answering like that for a first question? It might give the impression your just into being a hero for fame or for a strong fight or something like that. I know of course that likely isn't the case but heroes still need to seem like Moral totems to be looked to as an example, giving off the idea you're training to be a hero just to become a known face could lead to some awkward questions where they try and back you into that corner... really though, it was a personal answer and I like it~ Serperior just told me to be as critical as possible."
She looked to Rowan, nodding to let her try for another question.

She looked shortly at Yumi, you couldn't even do an interview as yourself? It wasn't that she blamed Yumi, feedback was good... maybe it was that she was not entirely happy with the Serperior said to be critical. More and more she started to wonder if this is what she wanted. She came to U.A. with the selfish thought to learn how to control her quirk; not to become a hero. Being a hero was a lot of work and it wasn't like she underestimated that, she had been working her butt off the last years but was she ready for this step? Who would be Rowan and who would be Lady Fierce? It seemed as if it wasn't allowed for them to be the same person, which was... fascinating and disturbing her at the same time. She managed to keep her face in a smile, she remembered Mosa's class about communication and everything, she had been taking an effort into this and she as the interviewer at this point, should make Alviss feel comfortable. She herself felt anything but as she still did not feel that the instructions were very clear, immediately starting the interview and no idle chitchatting, that's how it felt.
She looked at Yumi, because of the feedback she felt out of the interview already, did this mean she should comment on what he said as well, a normal interviewer or journalist would do that, but again, she wasn't one. Bleh, this was more difficult than she thought. Though Yumi's so-called interruption, because she should give feedback, was maybe a good thing to learn as in every interview someone could talk before their time. She even expected Yumi to say something so that was even much easier than the real world.
Right, so she was going to try to live up the party a bit, which was a funny thing for her to think; she definitely wasn't good at that. So basically she had to pretend Yumi had never been in between their talking and so on, though she gave her friend a subtle nod, "You mention you are not much of a fighter yet, is that something you want to focus on?" It wasn't really a question on the list and she knew that asking two questions at the same time would most likely mean the first one was skipped, "Does that idea of fighting has something to do with someone you look up to, do you have any specific role models?" Could have gone better, but she had not wanted to just push out a random next question, she had tried to make it look like she listened and thought about it and thus ask a follow-up question instead of just blurt out who are your rolemodels. Question to herself was, who were hers?
She did not like how nervous this made her, it were not even her questions that she had to answer, but when asking, she was obviously considering of how to answer. Who were her role models and what did this mean for her as a hero?

As the questions began being answered Alviss took notice of one thing and it was something that made him feel a little pale a first. He was vastly under-dressed for this interview. He took notice of what Rowan and Yumi were wearing compared to what he was wearing and it made him feel pretty uncomfortable really. He was never told about a dress code needed for the interview and it never dawned on him that he would need to do so because who wouldn't wear what they were going to wear comfortably to an interview? At least that is what he had thought at first.
Back to the advice Yumi gave though, he sounded selfish a bit with his words? Well he wasn't trying to be. Making a name for himself was important sure but he did want to help people genuinely, popularity was one of those things that he felt came naturally to him so that felt like it was a bit of a non-issue. Nodding his head toward Yumi he would proceed onward though it was pretty darn obvious Alviss caught on to his own clothing issue. He did try not to let it bother him too much though.
Back to Rowan she had asked him two questions instead of one. Maybe it was a follow up with his original answer? Oh well.
"I want to become a better fighter for self-defense. My ideal vision for becoming a hero is to be there acting as a scout, someone who is a first-responder to crisis and dangerous situations, but not one of the ones fighting villains if there are any y'know?" That was really his best response to the first question then came the next.
"I guess don't have anyone specific, like I said fighting is for self-defense only. But as for role models? I can say without a doubt that my parents are like heroes to me. They didn't do much fighting but they taught me a lot." Alviss was confident as usual now as he managed to get his comfort back after that little scare with his clothing.
Glancing over to Yumi, Alviss wondered if what he had said worked for her. She was there to judge after all and he hoped he was at least winning over his would be audience. Not that he was that good at talking about himself anyway but he would at least try.

Yumi continued to take notes, just idle scratchings on her little clipboard as she listened to them really but genuinely she felt rather good in how they seemed to be approaching it after her initial touch on the topic. As an observer she didn't really have much to do other than watch and make the most idle comments, but it was kind of a pleasant show to watch, just taking in their approaches. Rowan elaborated a bit more on one of the questions she could ask and added a bit of personal flair to it, gave Alviss a little more to work with which she definitely appreciated, marking her up a bit for that on the board.
With Alviss's own answer she almost had an 'awww' coming out of her but managed to suppress it to a pleasant smile. She didn't wanna break their flow too much so simply threw in a- "Great round, great responses. Alviss finding a strong answer that humanizes them a fair bit, and I'm sure it would win over an audience too." She gave a bright flash of her teeth in a bigger smile to try and express the two of them were genuinely doing well, right now Rowan felt a bit stiff buuuut she was doing well with the questions and as the interviewer she was bound to be more serious right now, she'd be sure to watch more closely when she was going to be answering the questions.

Actually, she was listening, but she was also wondering about her own answer. It wasn't that her answer would be as great as Alviss his answer was. Damn, he had a nice way of speaking and she was just like oh I don't know. Did she even have role models or was she so focused on just herself that it was all about herself? Ugh, was she that selfish? She was actually surprised that the boy paid attention to both questions, hm, smarter then she thought. Well no, that sounded rude again, more tentative that's what the word was. She should maybe apologize for that, but trying to run a smooth interview was not her style. How did she want to ever do that herself? Though Rowan had no intention to actually be an interviewer, she had the intention to try and... and... what? She did not even have an answer. This was definitely a problem but she would push it aside, today was not the day to find a solution.
Was he a support student or a hero class student? She almost called it a normal class student, rude again. "Gotcha." She answered when he asked if she got it. It was not far from what she had in mind, and yet Rowan had wondered since the start of the second year if she wanted to be a hero student instead of a support student. She always pushed herself to be more offensive, but was that what she wanted? She did not like using her quirk for that but she had an explosive, fire quirk, so why would you expect yourself to be supportive? It wasn't like fire could do anything nice. So the red panda student was maybe luckier and she tried to smile at him. This interview gave her more food for thought than she wanted. She could not answer or well rather refrained from to look at Yumi, who responded quickly and she gave a small smile again. "That sounds very nice." She said to Alviss, definitely would win an audience over, she supposed. She said that while quickly scanning the question list, she wanted something that would link to this part.
"That being said, I assume your parents are proud of you for doing this. Do they agree with your future goal or better where do you see yourself in five years?" Avoiding the double question by faking the way to correct herself she turned the question from his parents to his own goals, five years. He would have finished school, the sidekick year and would thus be a full-time Hero, depending on his own goals. She did not even want to consider the question for herself so she let it be and focused her attention on Alviss.
The only thing peeking in her mind now was that she was afraid of the questions he would ask her. She had to please an invisible and speechless crowd if she wanted to do it right. She wanted to be trusted in the near future. This was ging to be difficult, she could not even please herself.

Onto the next question it seemed for Alviss as he sat there and noticed that the two girls were varying in responses. The girl Rowan seemed a bit nervous well as far as he could tell anyway, he could be wrong for all he knew but it was definitely a possibility. Yumi on the other hand seemed to really like his response earlier. He would wait patiently for the next question as Rowan took a bit to come up with one.
That made him wonder though, what would he ask her for her interview? He actually didn't plan that much ahead when it came to his questions. He would have to work on the spot though to come up with a few things while he waited for her response. Thinking to himself really about what he would ask he would probably just think on that for a bit. Now it seemed Rowan had a question to ask him, verifying his parents support for his decision to become a hero seemed to be it.
"Yes I believe they are proud of me for my decision. Though they weren't exactly supportive of the idea at first, but that's only because the job of a hero can be pretty dangerous y'know? I bet they were just worried about me. I'm from a family of fishermen, so we go hunt fish and sell them to the markets. Obviously that would be less dangerous than hero work, but I wanted to make a real difference. Helping people in my own way instead of just catching fish."
Alviss said his answer from the heart and he did so the best he could. Seeing himself as a hero in 5 years? That's quite a long time to think over his career path but he knew what he was meant for and that was becoming a person that helps others, a true hero.
Pausing there before noticing that she asked a double question again. "I guess I never thought of it, hopefully in 5 years I'll be out there helping others as the Scarlet Scout! My hero name I've been working on heh." Alviss said with a bit of a chuckle. Was his part of the interview over now? He still wondered what he would do for his questions, still being vastly underdressed for the interview process too. Looking over to Yumi and Rowan he wondered how he did.
