Somehow she knew when to tell the driver to stop. Somehow she knew the way around this corner, and knew the steps to take to the right door before she had even checked the numbers on the building with the ones on her phone screen. It was like that feeling when people feel like they're living the same moment again. Déjà vu? But she had no memory of this building and she had no recollection of the boring brown bricks and she had no way of knowing the landlord's name; and yet she knew, and she recalled, and she did. They weren't memories as much as they were feelings. Feelings for the building and the people...no, for the person. The person was important.
The rest was just dressing, a setting--it could be traded out for anything, anywhere, but as long as she was here it was home. It felt like a "home".
It made her feel sick.
Byeol-Su looked at her phone screen again and then down the street in the direction she'd come. She should go. She shouldn't be here. She'd had a realization as she'd been driven that it wasn't her that wanted to make sure Luzia was alright, and be there next to her. It wasn't her feelings she felt. But as soon as she'd reached this road and seen the buildings it had faded again and she'd felt too strongly to go home. Besides, Luzia was waiting. And even the parts of her that were her and her feelings didn't want her to wonder where she was. Or at least she thought they were her feelings.
Byeol-Su swallowed.
I'm scared of her. I'm scared of her. I'm scared she'll stab me, like she said she would. She said to stay away from her. She said she hated me. She called me a monster. She was afraid of my quirk. She lightened up, but...
[smear:#811313]Does she even remember that? Does she? Not that I hurt Niso, because he didn't care--she has to have forgiven me, too, right? I hope she has.[/smear:#d11e58:2]
...urgh, fuck.
With a weird feeling of both dread, and joy, she pushed open the door and walked up stairs she felt like she'd stepped up before, even if she hadn't. When she reached the door she raised her hand to knock, hesitated, then did so anyway. She didn't want to know if she knew what it felt like to open the door and go inside. Not without being invited. Because it wasn't her door. It wasn't her home. She wasn't her love. These weren't her feelings.
She hated this.

The rock music wasn't even words at this point, the melodies were barely thumping beats, and even then, they were so slooooooooooow. Every beat had like, five whole minutes between them, it was like the thumping of a super big giant or something. It was a hell of an effect... she wasn't sure yet if she liked it or not, but she was tripping the fuck out either way! This was the weirdest shit she ever tried; how the hell hadn't she had this yet?
The neon buzzed behind her, one neon sign in blue and green advertising some sort of coffee, as she stared in awe in front of her. Her arm was still outstretched, a wide, almost violent swing, and the paint was still in an arc... but she could see everything. The paint was practically hovering in the air, moving and wiggling as it turned into droplets. She had flung the paint against to wall... how even long ago was it? A couple minutes? Everything in the world was suddenly so slow, the music, the TV, the fucking paint, everything was in slow motion! It was real cool! It was like a game!
There was another noise in the music, and Luzia suddenly looked away from her work. She had been painting for awhile by now on the one wall she kept blank so she could paint on over and over. She blinked... there were word after that noise, but she couldn't understand them, they were too slow. What were they? Was that the music? What felt like four hours later, after she had turned back to her work, that noise came out again. It was so slow, but it sounded so different... it wasn't the music, what was it? She pulled herself away from her painting and started to wander the apartment for hours, looking under the table and even in the fridge for the noise. But it came out again, and Luzia could finally figure out what the noise was: it was the doorbell! She tilted her head towards the door, and in the span of half a day, made her way to the peephole.
Who was that? It was a little girl, and she was... goopy? Who did she know that was goopy? Niso? No.... Verdure? No.... Oh... ParaSyte was goopy! Why was she here? ...Oh yeah! They talked about watching some movies together, but that was yesterday... did she even want to watch a movie anymore? Hmmm....
She undid the lock with a click; it took the better part of an hour, but she finally managed to pull the door open, staring down at the little girl. It was pretty easy to tell that Luzia was high on something; her movements were extremely slow, not just opening the door, but moving aside and motioning for her to come in. She wasn't even trying to talk; she couldn't even understand the music; it'd take too long for her brain to tell her to talk.
It took an hour for her, but she managed to close and lock the door behind her.

She's taking a while...
Is she okay?
Byeol-Su pouted her lower lip, and she raised her hand to knock at the door with a soft "whp-whp-whp". Only after that did she realize that if Luzia was, uh, on too many medications, she might not hear Byeol-Su's soft knocking. Curse her soft and boneless knuckles. What would she do? She could melt and go under the door, probably, but that might just scare Luzia and she really, really didn't want to risk scaring Luzia. It might end up with some sharp object in her eye. Was there a doorbell? Did apartments have door--
The sound of a click snapped her attention back and slowly the door swung open, and Luzia was standing on the other side. Byeol-Su felt the smile on her face before she realized it was there. "Hi! I came at a good time, yes?" But Luzia didn't respond. She just kind of stepped back and motioned for Byeol-Su to come in without any words, to which the smaller girl tilted her head, and went inside anyway. It was...pretty. Not like how the expensive hotel room looked, not like how Ishtar's amazing penthouse or Daffodil's apartment was, but it was so vibrant and colorful. Every wall was a different color. Even the ceiling was a different color! And there were swirls and patterns and everything was lovely. For some reason it never occurred to her that the villain called "The Painter" might actually like to paint. Shocker.
She did a little spin as she took all the colors in. "Wooooow. It's so pretty, Luzi-nee! Did you do all of it?" Something told her that she had, but she wasn't sure if it was just the obvious connection to her villain name or the feelings that weren't hers. It was nice though. More colorful than her home, definitely more colorful than the lab. But...this was all just normal paint.
Byeol-Su pause mid-spin as Luzia locked the door. Huh. She had paint on her hands, but that looked like just normal paint, too. So then even now...
The ache came back.
"I didn't know if I should bring a thing, but friend said would be nice. So. I brought some chocolate? Do you like chocolate, Luzi-nee?" Byeol-Su dug into her little frog-shaped pocket book and drew out three chocolate bars in a nice little box, tied with a red ribbon. She took quick steps up to Luzia with a small "plp-plp-plp" and held them up for her to take, her eyes both bright as she smiled. "They're some of my favorite kind! I hope you like it!"

For three hours, ParaSyte spun, and Luzia stared at her. In all that time, Luzia wondered: why was she here? This... thing was the thing that hurt Niso, almost killed him, and never even apologized, despite the fact that she had made up with Niso, despite the fact that Niso apologized. Why did this little girl, this goopy thing think she could waltz in here? For half an hour, during which ParaSyte had barely even made a fourth of a rotation, she stewed on these thoughts, staring angrily at her. Who was she to barge in like this?
But then she remembered... when ParaSyte got halfway through her spin, she remembered; she made up with Niso. She wasn't angry with him anymore, so why was she angry with ParaSyte? Niso was the one that asked for it, ParaSyte just did it... it didn't make her guiltless, but then, as ParaSyte did three-fourths of her turn, after at least an hour and a half after she started it, she remembered some of her recent interactions with her. Luzia invited her... 'cause ParaSyte wasn't all bad. She seemed to feel bad about the whole thing, and she was kind of nice, too. Like, whatever ParaSyte was, she was a legit a little girl... Luzia honestly felt a little sorry for her. She didn't know much about her, but it wasn't easy to be goop, probably, not to mention all the secrecy and stuff that she had to deal with.
ParaSyte stopped spinning, and Luzia smiled faintly. She really wasn't so bad... kinda gross, but that was her quirk; Niso's wasn't much better, and she loved him... so why not her, too? Luzia blinked as her guest reached into a very cute frog-themed book... it wasn't her style, but Luzia couldn't help but grin a little at the cuteness. She really was an adorable little girl... and she was moving faster, too! Luzia blinked in surprise as slowly, ParaSyte was pullingthe box out of it faster, like the world was being cranked up to regular speed again. Slowly, Luzia could actually start to hear ParaSyte talk.
"...like chocolate, Luzi-nee?"
Luzia wide-eyed, her cheeks almost literally glowing pink. She just called her nee...! And even more, she brought chocolate?! She was flabbergasted; gifts like this were rare for her, especially from anyone as cute and sweet as this little girl...! "Thaaaa... aaaankkk... yoooou...." Luzia's voice was still slow, it was such an effort to get it out when time was slow, even if it was speeding up, and she reached out slowly, every so slowly, to take the box. Slowly, but surely, she was speeding up, returning back to the speed of the real world. her high was fading, but it was being replaced by the very genuine sweetness of this little girl.
It wasn't coke, but then, neither was this weird time-slowing drug.
"Some of your favorite kind?" Luzia echoed, moving her hands a little faster than molasses to the ribbon to undo it. Chocolate was always a nice treat, even if it was slow to unwrap.... Halfway through, where she had barely gotten the ribbon undone, she looked down at ParaSyte, stared for a moment before smiling gently. "Thank you. You can sit if you like."

She was still acting a little funny, but Byeol-Su didn't really know how Luzia was outside of fighting, or outside when she was really sad. She was speaking in a strange slow way that sounded almost sleepy. Maybe she was? Had Byeol-Su interrupted her trying to nap? But she'd been invited over so...oh, maybe it was from a medicine Luzia took that was making her drowsy. She knew some medicines did that. Still, as Luzia took the candy from her, Byeol-Su's smile grew and she clapped her hands together with a quiet squishing sound. "You're welcome! Yes! They're so good! And they're from Hanguk--er, they're from Korea, where I was, too!"
"I didn't know if you like chocolate sweet or not so I got a sweet one and one that is the darker kind. I like both of them but I like the sweet more."
Being invited to take a seat, Byeol-Su looked around for a good place to do so. A couch looked like the best option for her, and so she moved over to it and plopped down, keeping herself facing Luzia even if it meant sitting with herself backwards, watching over the back of the couch. "Your house is nice! Did you do all the walls? Is it a 'love nest'? Think I remember those words from an anime. I think it's when people who flirt live together."

Korean chocolate...? Was it any different?
Time got faster and faster, until she could unwrap the chocolates with ease. She had unwrapped one of the sweet chocolates, breaking a piece off and popping it into her mouth. She gasped softly when it hit her tongue; it started melting on her tongue, just like that! It was so smooth, too, like a tasty silk on her tongue! She actually jolted in surprise at it! For a moment, she just relished it, but she slowly sunk into the couch as ParaSyte found herself on, smiling as she finished her chocolate. Her high was gone, and she was honestly painfully sober, but... the chocolate really was good.
Well, being sober sucked, but she just happened to have a fix for that right on the table in front of her. One little bottle, a couple pills popped into her mouth, and in a bit things would be right as rain;s he didn't even need to drink to wash them down. With that fixed, she could start to really relax, looking ParaSyte. Now she remembered; she had invited her over to hang on... she was really fucking high when she did, but... eh, what the hell? She never complained about company.
"Yeah, I did," Luzia answered, smiling softly as she moved some hair behind her ear. She smiled proudly, sheepishly since she wasn't used to praise, but proudly, soaking in not just the praise, but the happy work of her art. She was intterupted, though, snorting out a giggle, even covering her mouth as she stifled her laughter, clearly struggling. "Love nest?! Hahahahaha! I mean... I mean, yeah, probably, you could call it that...!" She sighed happily, her laughter calming down, looking down at her rest, at the ring that she was now wearing, given to her by the sweetest, most amazing boy in the whole world. "We're a little past flirting, though...~." She snapped a piece of the chocolate off, offering it to ParaSyte. "This is our home... at least for now." For a moemnt, she wondered if they'd change their house, and wondered if it would be a downgrade or an upgrade... she wondered if they'd be back on the streets or if they'd get an even better apartment....
For a moment, she stared into space, wondering. She popped another piece of chocolate into her mouth, looking down at ParaSyte. "Hey... did... did you call me Luzi-nee?" She was confused, surprised that someone would refer to her as a big sister, but... the idea couldn't stop her from cracking a smile.
