❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤She had gotten a bit more used to these internship things by now. Or at least she felt that it would have been sloppy of her if she hadn't yet. The UA kids were an interesting bunch and for better or for worse she enjoyed their company. Today she was meeting with yet another student but this time instead of having them go to her agency, she decided to meet them on site where she had a job to do. A certain building was being demolished in an old part of city and the presence of a hero was requested to help ensure things went smoothly with the operation. They didn't exactly elaborate on what 'smoothly' meant. But someone from the higher ups recommended her for her experience with collapsing buildings and structure. Well, that was true, but she had mixed feelings whether or not it was something she wanted to be known for. Anyway when she asked if she could bring along an intern for work experience they said it was fine. She had sent the details to the student in question a few days before, confirming their intership and informing them of the time and place. She herself just arrived at the site so it shouldn't take too long for the intern to get there by the agreed time. The foreman in charge of the demolition greeted her politely and briefly explained how things would go down. The demolition was to start in about an hour and they had already cleared out the civilians in the surrounding area. All protocols to ensure safety had been followed and the hero was basically there just in case of any accidents and if possible help a bit with the clean-up. After all when they were through, there would be a lot of debris that needed to be moved. She didn't mind providing a bit of assistance with that. When she asked if they were expecting any other trouble, the foreman frowned for a bit before mentioning that there were a few homeless folks that were rather reluctant to leave the area when they first arrived. The workers had succeeded in persuading them to leave but who knew what might happen if any of them decided to come back. Azusa kept this in mind. Sometimes people can be really attached to places. The area around was cordoned off but they'd have to keep an eye for any trespassers it seemed. Checking her watch again, the student ought to be arriving soon. She decided to step out closer to the street where they could easily find her.

After the chaos known as the Prison break and a ever growing pile of issues that seem to pile up for Yuuto, he found the time to sign up to work under a few heroes. The constant danger he is in due to his name being put on a hitlist by the ever charming Ishtar. As a result he needed to refine and learn some new skills that will hopefully help in survive in his new reality. The scars on his body show that it was only the beginning as he needed to be ready at all times to deal with the ever constant danger.
His solution? Working with a new hero he heard of a while back that went by the name of Valentine. Not to be confused with Hellhound but this was a hero who had the quirk of chocolate creation. It was both unique and envious to many with a sweet tooth as it has various uses to many. A new hero means a new outlook and skills that can be taught to him. Growth is the key here and this was no exception as he got ready as he always has.
Donning his attire which consisted of his signature jacket and some armor, he left the dorms with a determined look on his face. He made note of the meeting place as he checked his corners and movements. Making his turns and watching his back was already a habit but one can never be too careful as he was almost near the place. He saw a woman standing near the street and he can only assume that she is the hero he is interning under. Yuuto calmed himself as he walked up to the woman and bowed.
“ I apologize for my delayed arrival.”, he opened up before he continued. “Valentine-sensei, what is the plan for today? I assume we are not here to bring down a building but I can never guess right these days.”

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤Unsurprisngly when the student she was expecting showed up, she was once again looking up at someone taller than she was. Well actually upon closer inspection, the young man was fairly average. She was the weird one here. She maintained a friendly smile as the boy apologized and inquired about the day's activities. Hopefully he wouldn't be too disappointed. "Samejima-kun correct? It's nice to finally meet you. And no worries, you're just in time. It's funny you should ask about bringing down a building. Actually, that's the job of the nice gentlemen over there. We're just here to make sure nothing goes wrong and to help out a bit with the clean-up.""I suppose from here on I should refer to you as Sea Emperor? Did I get that right?"It wasn't the most unusual hero name she had heard, but it reminded her of a certain someone. Particularly the Emperor part. But that was a memory for another time. "Since we aren't doing much in the meantime, let's talk for a bit. Tell me about yourself, your aspirations, how you came by my agency and got interested in an internship."
"Sorry if I'm a little chatty. I've grown fond of talking with you UA kids. People sometimes forget that teachers learn a lot from their students too."A little ways off from the pair, the demolition team had begun to start up the equipment and heavy machinery. In just a few moments later they would start tearing down the first of the walls, gradually chipping at the structure until the frames and inner workings started jutting out from where the wall sections crumbled. Demolition work had not changed much in the last few decades or so. Safety first was still the primary concern rather than demolishing things faster. Not that the technology didn't improve. But it would be a while before the two could actually get involved with the clean-up work that came afterward.

Clean up duty and guarding? Not the most luxurious but hey its not a life threatening battle or something more grim. Yuuto pursed his lips for a moment as he heard the response as he stretched his arms into the air. However a part of him prefers it this way as it becomes less of a chore to keep up his whole tough persona. The ever constant days to keep it up in lieu of recent incidents made it a bother to even hide it. Valentine-sensei was of course rather simple in her methods but thats never a bad thing these days.
“Yep, you got that right. I cant really say much since I was already calling ya by your hero name. “, he responded in turn as he stuck by her side. His eyes keep watch of the area and the people around for any signs of trouble. His mentor was making alot of small talk which is a welcome change in his neighborhood. Granted he works with the more lax heroes on his end but it keeps the work grounded and not stressful during the downtime. “I have no problem with small talk. Its just with the prison break, the festival, and the whole incident with Redhorn….not exactly have the easiest time relaxing with the whole ‘My name is on some villains shit list’ deal.”, he talked with a rather tired expression on his face as he recalled all of it. “I'm not venting out my frustrations to ya but I haven't had a proper day to relax these days...aside from these internships..watching my back has become a habit i need to do again…”, he added as he scratched the back of his head as he saw the crew went to work on the building. But they were only starting and knowing how these things go, its going to go slowly.
“Sorry to bring down the mood...I didn't answer your question. Well I was originally born without knowing I had a quirk, I had dreams of being a programmer or working in a tech company like my dad until an accident.”, he coughs as it tries to not say that he died in an accident but he moves on as he always does. “Aspirations were mostly tech related but then things changed and I wanna be someone who has enough strength to protect those I love. As for how I came across your agency, I was looking through the list and wanted to work under one of the newer heroes in town. Most of the interest in the internship is working on the streets and doing the more simple stuff...because Imma be honest I need this sort of simplicity in the occupation with everything being everything….if that answers your question.”

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤Just hearing the first few words from the boy made her think that this internship might be more complex than she thought. Simply put, her intern for today was going through a lot. The fact that he thought of the internship as a break and a chance to 'relax' was telling. Well, as a hero, she had no objections to being a source of someone's relief and peace of mind. If that's what Yuuto needed then she was happy to oblige. She managed to avoid a frown, instead assuming a pensive expression when the troubled student mentioned being on a villain's hit list and having to constantly watch his back. That was scary plain and simple. Despite her looks, she was the adult here, and frankly she wasn't sure if she could even handle such a situation properly. Her nerves had gotten the better of her for much less. A legitimate threat to her life would have been extremely stressful. She totally respected that this kid was still willing to go outside, with that villain still at large. "Well, I appreciate you sharing your situation. No one should have to deal with that sort of thing, aspiring hero or not. I'm no big name, but as long as you're interning with me, I've got your back."Probably not the most reassuring words coming from a stranger who could be easily mistaken for a middle school student, but it was something she felt she needed to say. They didn't know each other well yet, but Azusa wanted to be someone he could rely on when the time comes. What kind of hero would she be if she couldn't do at least that? Yuuto would proceed to actually answer her question from earlier and it was interesting to hear that he didn't originally aspire to be a hero. They were kind of similar in that regard. Although from his tone, the turning point in his life that gave him the push was far more serious. If he wasn't comfortable with sharing then she wasn't going to pry. As for his reasons for signing up with her agency, they were consistent with everything he had said so far. He was looking for something simple. And that was totally understandable given where he was coming from. "Hopefully I meet your expectations. I wouldn't call what I do simple. But you would be right that at least in the part of the neighborhood that I work in, there haven't really been any serious incidents that sprung up here."
"Oh, but the major ones like that prison break did mean that I had to get called in and help out. That was probably my toughest job since coming to Japan. I'm not sure if you know, but I used to work as a hero abroad and just came back a few months ago."It was peaceful so far, but knowing Yuuto's circumstances, she couldn't help but feel the need to be extra vigilant. She would maintain her relaxed expression however. No point in being tense around the boy when he was looking for an opportunity to wind down. She also wanted to keep the conversation going. If it would help him to talk about things then she would do just that. "So, your turn. Do you have any questions for me?"

Yuuto gave a thumbs up as Valentine-sensei gave her own brand of encouragement. It was a bit relieving to hear her say that honestly as his situation is possible the worst it can ever be. Though his choice of words were poorly chosen when he mentioned that he saw an internship of all things to be relaxing during these trying times. She is a hero after all and treating her company like that must feel like a massive dick move on his part. But he kept the ball rolling as she responded to his reasonings in full. He nodded along as he heard her responses as his thoughts were confirmed. However he was right on the money with his assumptions...however the prison break was a deciding factor in all of this.
His ears perked up as he learned that she was a overseas hero like Hellhound and Redhorn. Not everyday you get to talk to an overseas hero like this these days. She then poised the question for him and he had a few moments to think of a few questions for her since he was rather curious about a few things about his mentor. Nothing complicated or huge but some basic info would help him for the future.
“What is your quirk, Valentine-sensei? Adding on, how did you learn how to use it effectively? I'm asking on the grounds that despite everything, I'm still a bit green when it comes to using my quirk. Everyone else around me is amazing in what they can do and I’m failing to see my good points despite my best efforts…”, Yuuto asked as he recalled the sports festival and various battles that have transpired between then and now. His quirk is strong but there was still too much he doesn't understand in terms of his strengths and weaknesses. A few dozen street fights doesn't do anything for him as he actually needs to learn what his quirk is about what he can do to improve it."That last part was more personal than I thought...umm... what are your motivations on being hero since you asked about mine. and if that doesnt really sit well then....what was your hometown like? Never traveled overseas so I am curious to know how other heroes lived their lives before the job, y'known?", he occasional glanced at the site and the various corners for anything weird and lo and behold...nothing. It was relaxing to say the least with him being able to talk like this.

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤If there was any big surprise today it was that that someone applied for an internship with her and didn't even know about her quirk. It was hilarious and sad at the same time, but her own expression more of astonishment. She didn't answer right away as she initially thought that Yuuto might have been joking, but he would go on and talk about his own quirk and how he was having trouble with it. It was hard to fault him for something like that cause the boy was really going through a lot. "Well, the first thing to remember is why my hero name is Valentine. But I'll skip the quiz and just say it. My quirk is creating and manipulating chocolate."
She held out her right hand and materialized a sphere of chocolate the size of a bonbon on her palm. "Here, have a taste. It's perfectly safe."Whether or not the boy would accept her offer, she would proceed with her story. "I guess I was lucky that my quirk happened to coincide with my own interests. My family owns a traditional Japanese confectionery store. So I basically grew up with sweets. Now you might be thinking chocolate is a western sweet. And that's actually right. My siblings who had quirks based on Japanese sweets would be the ones who ended up receiving more formal training to take over the shop one day. Meanwhile I wanted to pursue working with chocolate regardless, and so I ended up studying abroad for a few years."
"And that answers your second question. Tokyo is actually my hometown. I just lived abroad for a while to learn more about chocolate. Somehow I ended up becoming a hero while I was in Europe. Practicing with and using my quirk paid off in a way I didn't expect I guess."It was difficult to properly explain. The summary was she had been working with chocolate for years, which he could probably guess from her little backstory. But the specific things she did were a little harder to express in terms information that would be useful to him. But she would try her best. "I'm not sure how much you know about chocolate-making, but it involves a lot of trial and error. Especially when you're trying to come up with your own creation. My quirk helped with my studies because it allowed me to test and practice things as much as I wanted. Fine-tuning flavors, colors, consistency, texture, etc. There's a lot of work and adjustment that goes into it. And the constant practice and understanding of chocolate enabled me to reach the mastery I have today."She held out her hand again and produced another chocolate sphere similar to the one earlier. "This is milk chocolate. You can tell by the color and flavor. But with a bit of tweaking..."The chocolate sphere would swirl around a bit before assuming a noticeably darker hue than its original appearance. "Now this is dark chocolate. It may look like just a slight change in color but beneath the surface a lot of its components have been changed. Besides the color, the taste would be a big indicator."The round piece of chocolate would suddenly swirl around again. This time when it reformed, it would assume the shape of a miniature Tokyo Tower. "Crafting and sculpting is part of chocolate-making too. As you can see, between manipulating form and substance, there were plenty of applications of my actual studies and employing them with my quirk."
"In the end, I think understanding your quirk is the best place to start when you're looking to improve it. From there it's all about the work you put in. What have you been doing with your quirk so far and what do you feel is missing?"She had read from his application that the boy had used a type of summon but she had not seen it yet in action herself.

“Chocolate creation and manipulation? Like liter-”, the words left his mouths the heroine in question created a chocolate ball. His expression was both of curiosity and surprise as he wasn't actually expecting the sweet dessert to be made before his eyes. He of course accepted absentmindedly as he didnt want to waste it and see if it was actually real. The sweetness went through his mouth as any good chocolate should but one dares to think about how this is actually possible. Quirks are a fickle thing and a pro hero with something as simple as chocolate making is quite a feat.
He quiet;y ate the ball of chocolate as he listened to his Mentors tale. Quite the prestigious background from what he can grasp. Though a family whose quirks make sweets is bound to ruffle some competitors with the sort of edge they have but saying that outloud is about as out of place as it can get. That and maybe he was thinking too deep about that detail but nevertheless, it was her story and the finer details are best left alone.
Going abroad to Europe was something he did not expect considering what he heard about the academy there and how different they were compared to UA. All house systems and more grandeur names, foerign things but all of it made heroes and he is standing in front of one right now. But his ears started to perk up a bit more as she went into detail about her quirk. A Lot of fine tuning adjustments to do while on the fly is amazing to say. He knows a small bit about how chocolate is made but making various types on the fly while on the job is something not many can brag about. He watched her make various types of chocolate as the smell and color was as obvious as it can be. The shape of it began to shift and change as his eyes looked in amazement as his brain to get some ideas on how to use his quirk. Of course, Valentine asked the question that he was waiting for and he needed a moment to process the chocolate as he cleaned himself off of any chocolate left on his face.
“ Ahem, well I have the basics down on where I can manipulate the shape of my summon during fights and have demonstrated its use...my issue comes with certain areas lacking any proper use compared to others. Mostly the amount of use I get out of my quirk with its default form and lack of any real use of the other forms proper.”, He said as he summoned Razor behind him. He wasn't loud or posing or anything but it was to show what he looked like in scale.
“This guy here is Razor and he is the guy that does most of the fighting while I aim him the right direction and keep him anchored.”, he gestured to the chain that connects the two of them. “Most of my question stems from how I can diversify this guy's arsenal, because punching and striking can only do so much before I come across a wall I can't break”

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤This was the first time she had seen a summon-type quirk in person. so it piqued her curiosity. In fact while Yuuto was talking about his problems, she had moved closer and was walking around Razor, examining it from every angle. Of course she was still listening to the boy. In all honesty it was a issue that she personally didn't run into much. To be an artist was to drown in creativity. So as far as thinking up new ideas go, she as definitely a pro. Then again it's not like she never had slumps or lulls in inspiration. From that point of view, Yuuto's issues were more relatable. "I see. So you feel like you've hit a wall with the creative applications for your quirk. But that's not a bad feeling to have right now. You're just a student and have plenty of room to grow. I guess what I'm trying to say is don't let it get you down. Channel it positively. Ambition and aiming for greater heights is a good thing." She spent about an extra minute or two after Yuuto was done saying his piece just going around Razor with an expression deep in thought. Her own creative juices were actually working at the same time but she wanted to make extra sure that she got the details just right. When she was satisfied, she would take a few steps back and aim both of her hands in front. A clump of chocolate many times larger than what she used for her demonstration materialized before her. It was formless at first, as it was initially building up mass. Afterward, the chocolate's structure would finally take shape. It started with a humanoid likeness. Then the details would form and appear on its limbs and head. A tail would sprout as well. Yuuto would probably realize before she finished what exactly she was trying to do. In about a minute later, her sculpture would finally be complete. It was a 1:1 ratio chocolate replica of Razor. In truth she would have wanted a bit more time examining Razor's appearance to get the little details just right. But she did a decent enough job that from afar, the two would look almost identical. Except that the other was chocolate of course. It had been a while since she had made such a detailed copy of something so big on short notice so to replenish her reserves a bit, she took out a small bar of chocolate from her pocket and had a quick bite before addressing Yuuto again. "So I figured if we both had something similar to work with, I can help you better with coming up with ideas. I think my Razor turned out alright."Suddenly from its neutral position, the chocolate Razor would assume a boxing stance and then throw a punch in the air. The movement seemed smooth and natural, but in reality she was controlling every single thing remotely. It was different from a summon that had more autonomy. She was like piloting on manual. "Whew, this is tougher than I thought. But I'm starting to get the hang of it."

Yuuto only observed as his mentor walked around Razor with a discerning expression. Not much was going through his head as he only watched his mentor do her thing. Keeping special focus on the ball of chocolate that was taking shape before his very eyes. A part of him envied her quirk for how delicate it looked..how to looked...how it seemed to flow and move on her command. The more and more he looked at Razor as of late...the memory of how he got seems to come back so vividly. The fire and flames that surrounded him, the body….the raw emotion he felt. The fire in his very soul burned every time he looked at Razor and it reflected in every fight he has had so far.
Speaking of Razor...he spaced out for a moment before he saw that Valentine made a 1 for 1 replica of the shark summon out of chocolate. His expression was now more dumbfounded that she managed to make such a thing so quickly. It took a few seconds for him to actually react as he examined the chocolate shark in detail after it threw a punch.
“...I'm surprised you made a copy so quickly….”, Yuuto remarked as he put his hand on his chin as he walked around the statue for a bit. Razor took the same stance and threw a punch in a similar fashion, there wasn't much difference but it was a bit quicker than choco-Razor.
“Though I'm assuming you’re controlling every part of this...which is sorta similar to how I do it. But being able to throw a punch like that is impressive”
