❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤
It was a three-story brick building in the heart of Tokyo. The architecture style gave off a classic feel amidst the rest of the trendy shops in the surrounding area. That made it stand out in its own cute and curious way. At this time however, the establishment itself was still unfinished. Peering into the huge glass panels that gave a glimps of the inside, the new shop was quite bare. A truck was parked just outside with movers bringing in various equipment and furniture. Maison Azusa was far from ready for opening. But that was only in terms of the chocolaterie. The third floor had a fully functional office set up. This chocolate store in the making also happened to be the hero agency of the relatively fresh pro hero Valentine.
The owner of the building was currently on the first floor, directing to movers where to place things and how to arrange the furniture around the shop. Though she was a bit fussy, she also wanted to get things done that day as soon as possible. She was expecting a rare visitor. It wasn't long ago that she received a notice that the internship season would begin for the students from UA and active pro heroes were encouraged to take a few under their wing. Today one such intern was coming over and frankly she was pretty anxious about making a good impression.
When she put her name up to be one of those accepting applications, she didn't expect many to be interested in someone new and unknown in the Japan pro hero scene. She wouldn't have been surprised if she got zero hits. That would have been a bit of a downer but at the same time understandable. But now that she actually did get some interns, she couldn't help but worry about meeting their expectations. In then end one of her seniors abroad gave her a call and shared the simple advice of just being herself. It was something so obvious but she needed someone to tell her that. She was really grateful. It was a confidence booster that helped keep her optimistic about the day's meeting.
The boy in question was a second year student. She had sent him a business-like response accepting his internship application that included directions to her agency. It probably didn't look like your typical agency from the outside but the address should be accurate. Today was mostly going to be an interview and introductions so she didn't have to prepare too many things. But it still would be nice if the shop looked better when he arrived. At this point though it didn't look like that was happening.
The agreed meeting time was already fast approaching. She glanced at the clock every few minutes or so as she continued directing the movers. She would probably need to leave them alone in a bit but that was fine. She had mostly finished giving her general instructions anyway. Fingers crossed that everything would end up looking the way she pictured it.
