Meara was up on the docket today. Honestly Mia hadn’t met the kid before but she at least seemed like she could handle herself. She was apparently dating that Jack kid if her time in the UA chat had been clear enough on that and… well power to her, she must have a strong will if she was able to stand by that kid as the rest of the UA chat irrationally seemed to pick on him time and time again. Sometimes she really didn’t get the hate around that kid but… ah well. It wasn’t exactly like she was the school’s counsellor. It was Mosa’s job to sort that crap out. She just tried to shift attention off the kid whenever she could.
Back to the heroine in training of the day though, Meara. Mia was sitting back on an idle city bench waiting for the kid, a few passerbys taking pictures of her seemingly just messing around on her phone in her hero costume. A few tabloids would probably have articles the next day trying to say she was kickingback on the clock or something stupid like that but even on her phone she was looking over the PDF of the kid’s school file. Apparently their quirk worked with nanites. Made them a sorta… endgame iron man suit? It sounded pretty cool but it was definitely beyond Mia’s brain to be able to understand it.
“Kid could either me the best quirk ever or the worst… guess I’ll find out today…” She rolled her stiff shoulders back as she slipped her phone into the ‘hidden’ Velcro pocket of her pants, designed to blend in and with some padding so the thing didn’t just get obliterated in her hero work or let the pocket ruin the ‘aesthetic’ of the rest of her costume, Mia just resting back, arms along the back of the bench as she waited for the girl to show up, wondering if she’d be in full armor or not.
