Misa had been promoted to the Class President. Something she had never really planned on, but was more than excited to take up the role! She just had to figure out exactly what that meant, though. She had watched a few anime shows with Lyse, but had a feeling that that might not be an accurate representation of what a class president should be. Why were they always so powerful and terrifying in those shows?! No, Misa didn't want to be scary and intimidating. She wanted to help everybody get along. They had been extra stressed lately with everything going on, so she scrapped the idea of a group study session. No, everyone needed something more fun. Something outside, and not six feet apart!
That's when she sent the text to the 1-A group chat asking if anyone was interested in going to the beach while the weather was still nice. A simple activity that didn't cost much, if any, money! It seemed perfect! Hiro, one of the new students, offered to get them hotel rooms for free too. Two of the other new students said they'd like to come too, so she would get a chance to properly introduce herself to them. She might be unsure of her duties as class president, but she was pretty confident that meeting her classmates was something important. So with the help of King, her new Vice President, and Hiro, the event was all sorted.
She was really hoping Lyse would show up, too. She wanted to introduce her to the class.
Also, with the money saved on the rooms Misa was able to save up and buy herself an AWESOME new swimsuit for the beach. Blue with polka dots and plenty of accessories, like ribbons and bows and jewelry. Was it extremely extra? Yes. It was exactly the type of thing she loved doing, though. For now, she hid her masterpiece under an oversized hoodie though. She set down the bags she was carrying filled with towels and different foods to pull her phone out and text Lyse and the group chat.
'Heyyy, I'm at the meetup spot! I'm a little early, but hope to see you soon!'
She looked out to the beach. It was pretty quite today, she wasn't sure why. Maybe because it was so early? That, or all of the recent events made people not want to come out. Both were very possible. Either way, Misa quickly grabbed a spot close to the water and started laying out towels to claim the area as theirs. She made sure there was plenty room for everyone when they did show up.
Once she was set up, she remove her hoodie and started to get comfortable.
