"Today's the day, today's the day." Amare said to himself while he looked in the mirror. Running a hand through his hair he looked himself square in the face, his soft skin a testament to the dedicated regiment that he has adopted throughout the years. It was this type of dedication he was willing to put towards expressing his feelings to 'that' person today. He would not back out today was not a day for quitters. It was something he built up to and despite things going a bit faster than he expected, he would roll with the punches and stay adaptable to whatever was thrown at him. Going through his morning routine, Amare would try and script out what he wanted to say;
"Hey! Didn't see you there. Yea... yknow I was just in the neighborhood and...No no no I said I would meet him that won't work...
Tossing off his robe and looking for through a couple of shirts, Amare would be in the middle of performing the 'sniff test' on a favorite black shirt before an idea hit him.
How was work? Yea yea I was productive too got alot of things done toda- No no that's way to boring...and a lie I didn't do shit today but sleep...
Deciding against the black shirt and tossing it into the laundry hamper he would move to his closet and aim to pick something from one of his photo shoots. With some alterations here and there it would look like a completely new outfit. Grabbing some ripped jeans and turning on his laptop to load up some music for the trip, Amare would bob his head to the beats as he tried to organize his thoughts, speaking them out loud to hear how they sounded.
I bet your hands been working super hard all day. Here lemme hold them a bit so that they can...
Just saying the words got Amare's ears red hot though the mental imagery got his entire face flushed and burning with embarrassment. Just what did he want to do with Colt's hands? Was holding them his entire goal? Shaking his head he would check himself in his floor to ceiling mirror giving the entire outfit a once over. Flipping the collar and putting on a loosely tied tie around it he would grab his golden headphones and glasses and aim to find the proper footwear. They would of slipped on easily and with the outfit complete, Amare would take a deep breath and stare at himself in the mirror.
So there's something I've always wanted to tell you...I really li-"

Arriving on the street of where the ASTA Corp. building was, Amare would notice that there were alot of people going here and there in a hurry. This was the busy life of adults he guessed as none even had time to even look up a few even almost bumping into him. Gazing at the buildings all around Amare felt as though he was in a completely different world, the grounds of the school had only students but here there were people of all kinds. Glancing at the path towards the front door of the building Amare realized that as he got closer he did not actually know what floor Colt was on. Nor did he ask Colt what time he was actually finished work...After all the time it took for him to get ready plus the time it took to travel here he knew that it would not make sense to go back to the dorms to come back here in a few hours. So that meant that he would be stuck out here waiting for Colt for what could potentially be all day.
And that was okay.
So there he was, decked out and smelling good listening to music on a bench diagonally faced from the building. Sitting the way he was he could keep the front doors in his peripheral as he sat his head bobbing and fingers drumming to the songs playing directly to his ears. Today's the day, today's the day.
