STORYTELLER Joy, power, recognition, pride, the relentless emotions that dwells within the human kind that keeps making them strive forward. Among everyone these powerful factors can bring even the most unlikely individuals beyond greatness, with support and friendship one should overcome even the worst of circumstances. Tokyo, one of the grandest homes of heroism, is just about to go through another milestone in it's history books. Those who stand at the top and never falter to evil is about to witness the rise of an evil never witnessed before. Over the course of a few hours, this cold summer night was about to turn into a battle that will push them to the limit and test their stance in their roles. The streets with lively crowds and an even more lively city, has been overrun by a nightmare one could only believe exist in movies.
In a very similar fashion to heroes and their once past dreams of becoming one, the rise of the undead stepped into the streets a couple of months too early.
''KYAAAH! M-monster!''
The young lady in a late night party attire soon got surrounded by creatures that once lived. The very definition of a 'zombie' stood on their two legs and their arms reaching out to strangle and harass people, their hisses and muffled moans underneath their hanging jaws struck fear in even the most competent people. Police already on the streets, beating up these creatures to no avail, even among these foul opponents literal skeletons walked with them as one.
Using buildings as barricades and protection, police forces and armed civilians tried their best to hold their very own life intact until the heroes arrived. But to the great unfortunate state of the Outskirts, very few managed to navigate through the spreading chaos. Even those who trained to protect their people had a difficult time to beat down one zombie after another. They land a direct hit and it just kept rosing.
''N-no way! Even after twenty punches to their limbs it still stands?!''
''Just stop it! It must have some nulification quirk!''
''B-but that implies every single one does- GAH! It holds my arm!''
The zombie lashed out and took a full grip of the young hero's arm, his partner in heroism dashed past and landed a swift kick and sent the zombie back against a car, in which at least five more walked around to reach to the two heroes.
''Tch! Dammit! We need back up!''
Her words got quickly washed away by the endless groans of the walking hordes. No one knew just where this evil came from, but from the looks of it they are in the middle of the hottest part of this spooky invasion.
''Quickly! You two, grab those who are hurt and run to the highway! We got it secured!''
They nodded and went with the officer who had his arm bleeding until it was nothing but crimson red. However, when they ran desperately to the road leading up to the highway, a sudden flashing rocket was seen soaring through the black night sky, and hitting the highway leading out of the outskirts with one big explosion. The damage was so great thet both roads fell apart, effectively making transportation by wheel impossible. The officer felt cold sweat run down on his cheek, shaking as to not knowing what to do.
''W-when did zombies get a rocket launcher?!''
''No! It must be orchestraed by someone! But we can't stop now! The medical station is up here!''
They ran up the empty road and got into the cut off highway, quickly afterwards a large truck drove backwards into the road to block for the zombies. It was a miracle that a part of the police force and the help of a few heroes to secure the highway. Below them, the lively flashy streets once filled with people now are overrun by mindless freaks.
''Ngh... t-they got me good... we need pro heroes down there! If this spread continues it'll grow outwards into the center of Tokyo!'
''You should sit down! You're bleeding fast and we need every manpower we got, there are still far too many civilians trapped down there, but why is this happening here out of all places..''
The female heroine sighed and held her chin trying to think of a logical conclusion, but truly it all seemed far too sudden. Not too far from entertainment avenue, where the highway crosses above, is an abandoned film studio once popular. Those who owned it has moved to a bigger place, but ever since it has been turned into a dust collector, however, in the past week, loading trucks has been driving quite a lot through the busy streets and down to the film studio, this place was no longer an industrial place so it wouldn't make sense for truck drivers to go through this part of Tokyo.
''No matter what it is, we have to put an end to it, there are hundreds- no, thousands, or even more than we can even see, and it just keeps growing! We are gonna need large firepower to handle this, they are clearly not human so we need find way to eliminate them!''
For those who had plans or wanting to get down to the Outskirts of Tokyo, it'd be impractical to go by normal means. The highway for many won't be a problem to use if they have the strength to gallop over, but buildings nearby are fantastic spots to go around with and use for scouting. But one thing is for certain, the source needs to be eliminated immediately or else many civilians will fall dead. Not only is the Outskirts falling under this curse, but across of the land around Tokyo, everyone on their toes and unable to react properly, except for those who keeps their head clear, those who are willing to put their life on the line.
Far inside the film studio plaza, this manical laughter echoed through the air, a presence that struck a freezing sensation to those able to hear such a high pitched relentless laugh, someone who enjoyed this show a tad bit too much, and likely one that are willing to choke Tokyo until theres nothing left.

WHERE THE FUCKING HELL WAS TERUKO?!
[break][break]
Woman straight up put herself in harms way rather than remaining hidden, which was one hundred and ten percent the complete opposite of his instructions! So what if she was a badass Kaiju who could hold her own and all that shit? SO FUCKING WHAT IF SHE WAS A GODDAMN ROCKSTAR IN THE AISLE OF CANNED WHOOP ASS?! This whole thing was a shit show and she was out there by herself somewhere in this mess, definitely needing his back up! With all her power and strength, there was still no viable way for her to defend herself for too long, especially since her quirk most likely wouldn't be able to handle this level of crowd control.
[break][break]
What in the world compelled that beefy babe to do something so reckless?! Wasn't she supposed to be the wiser one of the two with experience? So why, why would she intentionally be caught in the fray rather than hunkering down. It was possible for him to manage here and there, but that's because he had a utility quirk and had range on his side. So thankfully...he could at least hold his own more or less as long as he kept sharp and diligent, always on his toes.
[break][break]
Did this mean he was taking the situation for granted, though? Abso-freaking-lutely not! All it meant to him is that he had the tools to make it through this as long as he was careful, that meant no fucking around and letting things hurt him for the enjoyment of pain. No, he had to be careful and most importantly rendezvous with the kaiju baker. There was no way in hell he was going to just ditch her out here! Taking in a deep breath before softly exhaling, the dapper vigilante spared a glance at his phone every now and then to make sure she could get some help.
[break][break]
Goddamn it...where was she...
[break][break]
Tucking his phone into his pocket, he had to move...staying in one spot for too long was incredibly risky. That and there were people who needed help and get rescued. Enda insisted they, as vigilantes, shouldn't be chasing after freaking Ishtar in this time of crisis, but actually aiding the civilians. That's exactly what he was going to do while keeping an eye out for Teruko. Right now, he had a decent vantage point and could see a good amount of chaos unfolding.
[break][break]
When Teruko said she was alone, he tried his hardest to be in a safer area...that way they could have a moment to discuss a strategy of some kind. Between the both of them, they could clear shit up....would have been nice to know the woman's damn coordinates so he could figure out which way she'd be coming from. Too late for that, though. Okay, but he'd have to migrate soon since he couldn't wait around doing nothing. Speaking of, there was a sound akin to a projectile being launched. That was different, did that mean there were higher ranked officers or soldiers shooting shit aimlessly?!
[break][break] Poking his head out from around the corner to survey the area and "Oh fuck," were the only two words he could muster as he was quick like a whip to activate his quirk in a pinch! Translucent indigo flames engulfed his eyes and hands, moving them in a dome-like shape, emitting teeth without sparing a moment to construct a large umbrella-like shield, the handle forming in his hand as he guarded himself from the flying debris. Despite the distance and it being above, he wasn't completely safe, let alone 100% unscathed. That's right, just because he moved and acted quickly didn't mean he could out pace the blast flawlessly!
[break][break]
A few chunks of asphalt rained on him, which was a little annoying to say the least and there was a broken piece of metal pipe stuck in his tooth-brella. Wincing and cringing a bit while narrowing his only visible golden eye at the thing that could have impaled him, he was going to hang back a little while longer, give Teruko a bit more time. Ugh...but something sounded like it was coming from the plaza area? Maniacal laughter, maybe? It was hard to hear since his ears were ringing a bit from being kinda close to the loud freaking blast. "Come on, Teruko...please be okay, get that fine ass of yours here already..." grumbling under his breath, he looked around...keeping on his toes and trying to stay alert and avoid something sneaking up on as much as possible.
[break][break]
The indigo flames dispersed from his eyes and hands, but the tooth-brella he used as an impromptu shield remained in his grasp. At least he could still use it if anything! Shiiiit...if the Kaiju queen of pastries didn't show up soon, he'd have to make a choice on what he was going to do: investigate the laughter he thought he heard, or take care of the immediate problem below bit by bit...fffffffffff this was just the absolute worst day everrrrrrrrr! There were a lot of people to save and the shitty thing is he knew it wasn't realistic to think he could save them all by himself, but you can bet he was mulling over ideas and possibilities in his noggin on how to save as many as he could!
[break][break]
Since as far as he could tell, he was doing this more or less solo and he can't save anyone if he was dead, so a plan would be great to get sorted. Especially if there was a chance he wouldn't have back up...ugh...

maybe the real monsters were the friends made along the way EVERYTHING HAD GONE SIDEWAYS. Which, given how often things devolved into chaos, made this situation normal, right? And why did things always go awry when she was out running errands? Just lucky, she supposed.
The alert regarding the literal zombie outbreak pinged Teruko’s phone when she was downtown, of all places. The directives were to find the nearest business and take shelter until further notice. Uuuggggh.
First, the woman called her bakery, and directed the people on-staff to lock the doors and push the tables up against the windows to help buffer against broken glass—and to keep one person at the door to let in any living people that needed shelter.
Second, the woman hopped onto vigilante chat, to coordinate from there—where was Akiva, and where was Enda? Akiva was still at work. Good.
Enda was, unfortunately, being uncharacteristically uncommunicative. You gotta be kidding me.
“Not the time to be an independent dipshit, dude,” Teruko muttered tersely. Any attempt to make contact was met with “get inside, stay inside, you need to be safe” bla, bla, bla. The woman sneered—she’d been doing the vigilante thing far longer than he had, perhaps as long as he had been alive, and he was telling her to stay inside?!
It was about this time that Teruko began to encounter the first few undead. They lunged for her, gnashing their blunt, useless teeth, and the woman snapped her tail at them like a whip, the force of the blow sending the zombie flying. It would’ve at least wounded a normal, living human but… didn’t seem to faze them much. Where ribs should have arched outwards was now dented inwards, and the zombie was still trying to scrabble back to its feet. The woman set-off again before it had the chance to attack again.
Shit.
Teruko sent a somewhat frantic text to Enda, insisting that if he didn’t share his location she’d be facing the zombies alone—which was true—and this revelation was what it took to get that stubborn-ass twink to share his location. That was all she needed. Phone pocketed, and Teruko was on the move again.
While some would be quick to insist that going-out in this harrowing situation suggested some sort of addiction to adrenaline, or perhaps a fearlessness, it was quite the opposite for Teruko. The kaiju was terrified—she was scared for Enda’s well-being, for the well-being of others, and her own—it made her senses sharp, and her mind quick. Whereas most people met fear with the instinct to flee, her instinct was to fight… so here she was, charging-in to the thick of things.
A tremendous *BOOM* rocked the commercial district that butted-up against the outskirts, a flash of white momentarily painting the nighttime silhouettes in their daytime-colors. The explosion allowed Teruko to see Enda’s construct before she saw him, and she saw him before she saw the debris sailing her direction.
“Jesus,” the woman breathed, before bellowing, “TAKE COVER!” and promptly wedging herself into the mouth of an alley, covering her head with her arms and pinching her eyes shut. Dust filled her lungs, and debris of various sizes pelted her back. Teruko did her best to steady her breath, waiting until the roar and light subsided, before opening her eyes onto the darkened hellscape once again.
Enda.
She’d seen Enda.
Or, at least, she’d seen his handiwork.
Thank God.
She didn’t have to face this alone.
Thank God.
Teruko unfolded herself, lowering her arms as she stood, beady eyes blinking as they refocused. Dust billowed from the site of the explosion, obscuring her line of vision.
Where is he? She knew she’d seen him… Teruko cleared her throat. What is his vigilante name, again?
She cupped a hand to her mouth.
“TOOTH, WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?” she bellowed again. The shout pushed her into a coughing fit… but, as soon as she heard a response, she would jog in that direction. By the time she would step into Enda’s range of vision, her scared, frantic expression would have adjusted itself into something cheekier (though the fear definitely continued to simmer beneath the surface).
She grinned at the kid, tilting her chin at him.
“Couldn’t wait for me before starting the party, huh?” she teased, as if Enda had a say in when the zombie apocalypse would start, “I haven’t ran like that in months.”
Just a bit of funeral humor, though ideally they wouldn’t be joining the legions of the dead. Teruko tried to steady her breathing, coughing again into her arm. Golden eyes briefly appraised the twenty-something-year-old. No apparent injuries. Clearly shaken. Good. If he was relishing this, I’d be concerned.
“I’m glad to see you’re okay.”
In case she didn’t get the chance to say that later.
“What did I miss?”

One thing after another now huh? If it wasn't a prison riot it was a zombie outbreak and if it wasn't a zombie outbreak... well it was her rampaging through the streets but how about we casually brush that under the carpet for now.
Called in to the front line the moment the government realized Mia could pretty much go ham and no one was gonna complain about her living out the plot of 'The hulk, but it's a zombie movie this time'. Mia was still doing her upmost to hold the trust of the people and re-earn their favor in those she had lost trust with, but at the same time... she was frustrated. One disaster after another and they kept. On. COMING. The fuck was up with the world!? Any other time of her life this would be heaven. One chance to show off and prove what she's made of and then right along came the next. But she still had to grit her teeth, still had to control herself. She wasn't the Mia she could be and it was killing her with every punch to restrain herself lest she bleed into that red monster again.
Luckily, a damn decent question brought her from her thoughts. Where DID zombies get a rocket launcher!?
"Jasmine! I know you're out on the streets so if I don't see explosions on my horizon in the next 5 minutes I'm assigning you extra homework! You got my coordinates!" Even as she felt the bite of frustration though... feeling her earpiece, knowing she had a line to Jasmine on the other end, knowing that explosive bitch was on her way... That was good. That made her smile. it wasn't even a pleasure it just felt right. it felt natural. If there was anything she'd been waiting for ever since she met that kid it was the chance to work alongside her in the field, and finally here it was. She stood atop one of the taller buildings in the environment, having just crash landed on the scene just as the freeway was blown to bits, rolling her shoulders back and looking over the destruction. Quick survey red horn...
Zombies were funnelling out of some big building in the middle of the district. Northward seemed to be more chaos deeper in the city, southward was the commercial district. An easy target but heroes were gonna be rushing to protect it. They had cars trapped on the freeway with nowhere to go thanks to the explosion, an explosive teen on the way... an an army of zombies to destroy.
... Ah fuck it. The world could turn to shit. She'd still love her job and she couldn't help but smile. Limits be damned. This was it. The day she took back control of... Everything. Her career. Her own fucking body. Her life. And she had hundreds of undead faces to burn her frustrations out on.
First things first though. Civilians. With another huge leap from her current vantage point Mia was soaring through the sky again. The freeway was mostly safe it seemed from the slow of zombies, plenty of room to turn back and go the other way, find another way to safety but with how tight it was there were clear issues for some people to turn back. With a hefty thud Mia skimmed across the tarmac of the free way, the dust and smog created by the explosion making her silhouette more than a little imposing to those trapped in their cars. Brief terror may not end even as they realized the figure infiltratiing their rows was Red Horn herself... but she didn't care. She'd been caring for too long and it was time to start doing her job again! She grasped the hood end of a car and hoisted it over the half turned car next to it, giving it a straight line to drive back across the north end of the freeway, yelling loud enough that it'd instill enough fear to be listened to. "MOVE!"
One by one she un-locked the cars like a reverse game of tetris, unleashing the locked in mess and watching the cars start to swerve and turn around her... good. Good move. What's next? She didn't hear any explosions. Jaz wasn't here yet...
She did hear a beeping though.
Her head turned sharply and down below the freeway she saw one of the zombies with a rocket launcher, her red eyes sharp and her stance strong. The beeping grew more rapid and a burst of smoke bellowed out from the launcher as a missile fired her way. Mia stood strong, still, and as it came barrelling towards her a swift arm whipped infront of her, catching the missile by the shaft. She could feel the thrusters pushing back against her arm, trying to drive it's armed head against her face... but Mia just held the thing till it fizzled out.
Undead targets. No reason to hold back...
She lowered the hand to holding the still armed missile, the other two her ear. "When you get here Jaz don't worry... You'll know where I am."
A foot pulled back, crouch low, and with a burst of force Mia was soaring into the air above the zombies, rearing an arm back like a basketball player about to make that match-winning dung, she hurled the rocket back down into the street below, an eruption of force below her. Her momentum carried her to the wall of the building that sourced these creatures, kicking off of it without hesitation as she barrelled into the dense thicket of their forces. The moment her fist slammed through one her second was ready to follow it up with another. She perhaps shouldn't have enjoyed this so much, ripping through these undead creeps but... GOD was it cathartic! Able to finally let loose again. Before long the zombies where either dog-piling her in an attempt to slow her down, or if they had any brains left turning to run, and Mia reared back, bellowing out a beast like roar. All her, no beast behind it... a sense of joy at it's core before hurtling right back into the fight.

"Everybody inside! NOW!" This was supposed to be a good day. A good goddamn day. One of the best Jasmine's had in a while. Her studies were going great -- her scores were actually so damn high she managed to end catch-up nearly half a year early. New PRs were reached in her training, opening up new goals for her. Hell she even found time to help Misako brainstorm and try out new ways to use her quirk. A good fucking day. A day that was supposed to be rounded up with Jasmine going downtown to buy supplies to try her hand at watercolor -- as per Mosa's suggestion. What was even better was that she'd gotten in touch with Mia and the two of them were supposed to hang out on her couch watching dumb action movies and indulging in a few beers. A goddamn amazing fucking day. "Look out!" Yet, instead? Yeah. Things never went as fucking planned. Instead Jasmine found herself knee deep in what was literally the ground zero of what looked like a fucking zombie apocalypse! How did this make any sense? She had absolutely no clue. But what she did know was that she was sure as shit not going to sit back and hide under some desk. Explosion after explosion erupted from the ashen haired student's fists and feet as she moved along the street, demolishing swaths of undead standing in her way. A group of people next to the art store she was in had found themselves surrounded and the wolf was quick to the scene, blazing her way through body after body much alike a missile. "Come on!" Ever the observer, two key things made themselves painfully obvious to Jasmine the second her attacks met the first few corpses. Beyond being the brainless fodder that they were in the movies, they were not squishy enough to kill like it was nothing, and they did not die after their brain was destroyed. She'd have to try her hand at fire, but- phone call.
"Mia! What the fuck is going on!? I- Huh?!-" the third year cursed under her breath. There was no damn time to play around here. "We're moving!" She barked out her orders, instructing whatever civilians she could pick up to stay close to her and stay on the move. Blast after blast, she clawed her way back to the art supply store... before turning back to release one hell of an explosion to damn near level the street.
"Stay inside and barricade the door. Do not try to get out on your own. Help is on its way!"
With that out of the way and the group of civvies now safe, Jasmine launched herself high into the air like a ground-to-air missile, going high up above the high-rises.
-You'll know where I am.
Crimson eyes locked on the ensuing chaos of an explosion. "...damn right I will. Did she just catch the fucking thing with her bare hand?" she mused to herself in awe as the high winds above the buildings whipped her hair around wildly. Hefting a breath, the ashen haired lass used a few miniature explosions to correct her posture in the air before launching herself directly towards Red Horn's location.
Sparks crackled along Jasmine's body as she began to spin-mid flight. Shortly thereafter waves upon waves of small explosions surrounded her, pushing the momentum of her rotation further and further. Before Jasmine even reached the ground her body was covered in chaos that took the form of a massive flaming spear. And when she did reach the tarmac -- right beside Mia, yet far enough so that the other woman wouldn't be engulfed in the blast -- she slammed her feet directly into the chest of one of the undead in the form of a dropkick that forced its back to crash so hard into the street it left a large crater in the pavement...
...and that's not even counting the resulting humongous mass of an explosion that shot forth from the impact, covering nearly the whole street in front of them in a disastrous wave of fiery death.
When the dust settled, Jasmine would be standing right beside Mia, legs spread and hands raised in a stance. The wolf stared down the corpses that refused to stay dead, "I'll watch for any civilians and help with the fight where I can..." she gave the Oni a short glance, a small smirk on her face. She knew that look on Mia's face. It told her all she needed to know. "Feel free to go absolutely fuckin' HAM."

This was not how she thought today was going to go.
She had decided that she was going to dedicate some portion of today to herself. She had planned to do something that she rarely did whenever she had free time. She was going to try relaxing and resting instead of reading and training today. She had been looking forward to today, having planned today’s activities several weeks in advance.
And now she found herself staring at a horde of the living dead from the window of a book store, the book she had been reading and planning on buying forgotten in her hand.
She could feel disgust and fear gnawing at her. Her fist clenched tightly. Her lips, normally taut in a straight expressionless frown, slowly warped into a frown of intense displeasure, or the hint of one. She’d been indifferent to the genre of movies known as horror before but this entire scene in real life was starting to make her dislike it. Had she been anyone else she would have started running and looking for a safe place to hide. But she wasn’t anyone else, she was Iida Katsumi, Hero codename: Chase, and if there was one thing that Chase knew, it was that a hero would not stay idle as a disaster occurred right in front of them. Even if that disaster was a never before seen zombie incursion.
The book in her hand snap shut before she placed it back into its spot on the shelf. Taking a moment to breathe out she began marching to the entrance of the book store. She turned around to address the people in the store with her. She saw the fear and worry in their faces, everyone from the employees, the customer, and the people who hung out in bookstores because it was their aesthetic or for any other reason was looking at the slowly encroaching horde of corpses. “Attention!” She yelled loudly. “For safety reasons, please stay within this place. Barricade all entrances and remain vigilant.” Without another word she marched out the bookstore with purpose.
She looked around, looking for the nearest highest point she can make her way to. The rooftop of a building some distance away from the shop was the perfect place to scout and plan her next move. There was only one problem, between it and her was a mass of living dead. “Chase, deploying!” She made a mad dash into the horde, leaping before she made contact with them and using her Quirk to increase the distance that her leap covered until she cleared the horde. She didn’t look back and kept running to her destination before rocketing up onto the roof of the building before slowing herself down and landing gently. The rooftop was empty of people, full of building materials like nails, screws, and parts used for scaffolding, it seemed that the rooftop wasn’t finished being built yet. From here, her rooftop perch, she could see how bad things were.
She could see zombies everywhere she looked from her perch. Zombies swarming the streets everywhere she turned her head. Civilians running and holding up in safe places. She heard something approaching her from somewhere and it was fast. She saw it, a rocket heading in her direction fired from a zombie with a rocket launcher. “Humph, useless.” Without a second thought she turned the projectile aside with a flourish of her hand and the activation of her Quirk, the rocket changing direction and spiralling down into the horde below, erupting into an explosion. She bent down and picked up one of metal poles that were parts for a scaffold and gave it an experimental swing. “Light, hollow, yet sturdy, this will do nicely…” She looked around at the stuff around her and the beginnings of an idea began to form in her mind. “This will all do nicely.”
She gathered materials from the roof, a couple metal poles, nails, and screws. The poles she kept on hand, and the screws and nails were shoved into a belt with pouches she had also found. She tried twirling one of the poles in her hand like a baton but ended up dropping it on her foot, she hastily picked up again. Loaded on as many things as she could, she looked on from the rooftop and started to plan her next move. She could see an explosion go off in the distance. “That is either someone doing something or these zombies doing something, have to go see to be sure.” Destination set and metal poles in hand, she leaped off the rooftop and used Vector Redial on her clothes, sending herself flying off in the direction of the explosion.
She really really really hoped she wasn’t heading towards zombies with bombs.

STORYTELLER With a couple of explosions happening acrros of the edge of the once known industrial area things quickly turned into a smoke reeking field with relentless crowds of the undead passing through. They didn't need to breathe or even use their eyes, with a simple instinct they could navigate around difficult terrain with merely their sounds, but how they worked goes deeper than that. That is of course how such a mindless creature could even operate advanced rocket launchers, the state of most undead could barely hold a steel pipe if they tried, meaning only the far more bulky built bodies had the strength to carry those launchers. Luckily for those fighting outside the number of rocket launcher wielders are not that high, there was probably only one per second crowd, however, one near Enda, who soon is reunited with Teruko, recieves one nasty surprise.
A zombie behind one of the freeway support pillars peeked out and aimed it's large weapon to the two vigilantes. The rocket launches out a bit slow but in the matter of two seconds it picks up the pace and has end destination right between the vigilantes. The explosion is big enough to reach the two of them, enough force to shatter iron material.
The sound of the explosion were heard by those taking shelter at the freeway, at the medical station already a dozen of citizens has been carried and taken into care, but there are far more people out there struggling to get out of the mess.
''At this rate there won't be anything left if these rockets keep striking around the city! We got the pros in the scene, but we can't let them pull a miracle alone! Those who can stand and fight, join me and let's advance through the freeway! We need to fix the road so that we can reach the hospital!''
''D-do you see just how big the gap is?!''
''I am aware... I wouldn't suggest it if I didn't have a plan!''
As he declared his position of determination, the hero raised his fists up and they slowly began to turn all dark gray with a hint of sheen, iron beams.
Quirk: Buildmaster! This hero possesses the power to formulate hard materials out of his body and attach them together in a fly! He is afterall the top number one choice for construction agencies!
''Alright! We got no time to waste!''
With a powerful shout he encouraged those who can stand and fight to follow along down the messy freeway. However, their loud determination caught the attention of the true culprit of the bridge destruction. This individual watched the small crowd of survivors and officers run down the freeway. A wide grin forms underneath the shadow of their hat and raised both of their arms up together. For those who had height during this moment could see the sudden small flash of energy emerge from the middle of the abandoned film studio, and through the air a menacing large rocket flew high up and shifted direction to go down towards the freeway once more from a 45 angle. It was aiming right at the group of people running down, one who heard the rocket launch and watches up into the air with a sight of shock.
''INCOMING! TAKE COVER!''
But considering the radius of damage the freeway recieved the first time it was quite unlikely any of them had the time or needed cover to avoid the destructive damage. The construction hero stopped his sprinting and ran to the impact spot, forming out large heavy plates of steel to his chest and forearms, clashing them together with a horrified expression.
''I'LL EASE THE IMPACT! RUN!''
'' ! You'll die of that! Get away!
With tearful shouts, everyone who had ran across the freeway all felt hopeless and quite literally could see their life flash infront of their eyes.
Meanwhile, from the scene of the abandoned film studio, the culprit lowered their arms and cackled out like a maniac and raised their laughter audiable enough for everyone to hear. It was a feminine voice, but one that surely no one wanted to meet in person. This person is a cruel villain that enjoyed the show from far away, her villain name is Panzur, and her job within the abandoned studio is to command around those brainless freaks! She held up two navigation flags and ordered a bunch of zombies in a neat line as if they were soldiers.
''Hup! One two three four! Arms out and bend down! Four three two one! Pick the weapon up and crack a bone! Gyaha!''
She stood ontop of a heavy steaal box in the middle of the ampty space, and around here several dozens of zombies followed her words while others rode the trucks out of the hangars, opening their shutters to release out the rotting corpses. Already has half of the trucks been emptied, but with a long night ahead she was more than willing to release every single one out with a portion of them trained to carry rocket launchers on the spot!
''Heh! My job sure is easy, I wonder if any cool Pro Hero has arrived yet, just killing civilians are no fun after one hour! Now then! Onwards group 3-V!''
As she pointed outwards to the front gate, the newly trained rocket launcher carriers joined with the weaker crowds, a literal stream of hissing zombies with malcious intentions in their hollow rotten eyeballs. The villain who is orchestraing this operation crossed her arms and watched the glorious undead march. Her attire similar of a war general and long spiky blonde wild hair truly gave the impression of someone who has a bit of an obsession with war. She did not even pay attention to what have happened to the rocket she launched earlier at the group, she felt far too busy with being a tyrant.

This was just like one of those movies where everything was going to crap and the world felt as though it was on fire in a corpse ridden apocalypse.
[break][break]
You know...
[break][break]
Where nothing was going to be okay and the only way to fix things would be none other than the cleansing power of explosions.....
[break][break]
Yeah, that's exactly how it felt and he was at the point where choices were being lost to him, slowly draining down the sink as the body count climbs up in its place. Clenching his jaw, the dapper vigilante wanted to wait but he was running out of time and so were other people! The sounds coming from below where the heavy traffic of chaos was ensuing sounded as though he wasn't so alone anymore...but...Teruko...
[break][break]
Teruko was in danger somewhere...!
[break][break]
When he heard her voice, a wave of relief washed over him and even though the chaos and mayhem was unfolding...it took a back seat as white noise as her figure came into view. His vision was no longer paying attention to the pillars in his constant scanning of the area, the all too familiar figure. Then came her voice, that sweet, strong, sultry voice! ...well to him it was, either way, the flamboyant fellow excitedly stumbled on his words for a moment before practically squealing out, "Te-K-MY QUEEN! HOLY SHIT!"
[BREAK][BREAK]
Whisking up his toothbrella-ella-ella-ey-ey-ey over his shoulder, he was about to spill a bucket of word vomit to bring her up to speed about everything. You know what interrupted him though? A MISSILE WHIRLING BETWEEN THEM AND CAUSING HIS COAT TAILS AND CAPE TO DANCE ABOUT IN THE BREEZE! Feeling himself lose his balance for a moment, he stumbled forward and oh fuck he saw the vague shape before the impact and leapt toward the brick house of a badass kaiju woman. Cutting the distance and reaching out with his free hand to grasp onto either her arm or waist as the other firmly held the handle of his construct creation, all so that he could pull himself closer to her and simultaneously swung the toothbrella so that it would shield the pair from the blast.
[break][break]
Activating his quirk in the process, that gold eye was tinted indigo as the flames trailed down to coat, strengthen and reinforce the durability of that toothbrella in an effort to have it survive the impact. A twisted smile crept across his lips as he shared his construct's pain dance about his nerves, watching his construct crack into pieces. "Follow my lead, My Queen~" Muttering those words under his lips, there was definitely a sinister air about the man as those words deviously rolled off his tongue. Releasing the toothbrella's handle as it hovered there among the fractured creation, he focused his eye on the metal piece, motioning his hand in a circular motion before clenching his hand into a fist. Rolling, crawling and engulfing the piece of metal to make it the core of a solid, oblong looking missile shape...turning just a bit, looking over his shoulder and glancing toward the pillar where that peek-a-boo son of a bitch zombie was.
[break][break]
"There you aaaarrrrreeee~!" Pointing at his tooth missile, the slit of his eye became thin before he swept his hand across with the construct weapon following his movement, pointing toward the sneaky bastard zombie and... "Bang~!" Followed with a chuckle, he made it look as though he was firing a finger gun, but that motion triggered the tooth missile to launch rapidly at the undead packing massive heat! Once it got close enough, he'd open his hand to trigger a scatter shot with a circular piece behind the metal, pushing his hand forward to reveal a circular piece behind the metallic pipe. Fanning his hand which caused the circular piece to smack the end of the metallic object, causing it whirl n' spin at the zombie menace!

maybe the real monsters were the friends made along the way BLESS HIS HEART, ENDA LOOKED ecstatic to see her. Despite all the calamity around them, the woman found it in herself to smile. He looked like he was raring to tell her what he’d seen, and Teruko was contented to listen so long as they kept moving, but… that choice was not going to be entirely theirs! For, as Teruko finally drew in, a pinprick of light in the haze caught her attention—something like the sound of rushing water, or perhaps a distant rocket taking flight. And it was getting closer.
Teruko was a massive woman—massive and slow—so avoiding the rocket altogether was not feasible. Thankfully, however… the first shot was a total bust, going directly between the reptilian woman and her svelte companion. Teruko’s face fell, staggering back in alarm. Enda, however, grabbed her arm and pulled her behind a tooth-shield of his own design. Teruko crouched, trying to make herself small, even going so far as to tuck her tail.
Teruko breathed shakily. Zombies, she had anticipated—but… where the fuck had someone gotten their hands on a rocket launcher?! As easily as the toothbrella had come into being, it broke apart, prompting a grimace from the young man. Teruko clapped an appreciative hand against the back of Enda’ neck.
“Thank you,” she said simply. No snark about “being able to take that” or “why the heck did you grab my arm” just “thanks, for not letting me withstand an explosion unprotected”.
Teruko nodded as Enda invited her to follow his lead—sure. If he had an idea, she would readily follow-suit. The kaiju kept her attention outward, rather than on Enda—for any other threats that might present themselves.
It was difficult to not be impressed, however, by the shear range of the man’s quirk—from makeshift shield to missile—attack to defense. All Teruko had was that she was big and somewhat sturdy. Geez.
Since her attention was split between Enda and their surroundings, and she was concentrating so hard on peering through the din, Teruko saw the rocket as it reached the top of its arc and collided with the overpass above, followed by the screams of people caught in the blast.
“Looks like we’ve got our course!” Teruko said eagerly, bumping Enda with her hand and gesturing towards the trail left by the rocket, “We’ll at least get some other rocket-launcher-toting zombie! Or some living co-conspirator. What do you think? Round 2 with the Tooth Missile?”
She’d trundle ahead, baring her shark-like teeth. She kept her pace steady—no point in running, that made it easy to overlook things—ready to confront any challenge, living or undead, that presented itself.

The sound of an explosion or two didn’t bother her. The damage these rocket launchers could do was devastating but it wasn’t like she had the speed to stop every last one, and if that blast to the freeway was anything to go by a lot of them were blind shots of sheer wanton destruction with no real aim to them. Civilians would be hurt sure, and Mia would try to stop the missiles where she could but… she couldn’t be everywhere at once, so every last explosion wasn’t gonna draw her attention unless it was accompanied with a cry for help.
A lot of explosions though… rapid ones at that. Yeah. That got her attention. She slamed her fist through the torso of one of the lesser mutated zombies, a wild grin on her features as she looked off to the skyline, watching the incoming spear of death and destruction that landed not too far away from her, Mia discarding the zombo latched onto her arm with complete disregard as she dug in her heels, chuckling deeply as she felt the shockwave rush past her, barely able to shift her but still with some noticeable force behind it. By the time Jaz had arrived, the smallest flecks of red were showing on Mia’s skin, nothing serious enough to worry about, but her dense-skinned, leathery, rage filled state was clearly starting to bubble…
But with Jaz’s reassurance? She felt weirdly calmed. She had the option to truly let loose… and if worse came to worse she knew she had someone with her who could make sure she didn’t make an idiot of herself again. Holding her arms low, legs wide, a wilder stance compared to the ‘ready to fire’ position of her partner in cri-er… heroism, Mia was ready to fucking go, with a wild look in her crimson gaze that told any of the zombies around her smart enough to take the hint they better fucking run.
“Good to have you here dynamite…!~” She let out, a growl behind her words as the red patches seeped back beneath the more naturally peachy tones of her skin. “You manage to figure out what kills these things yet? I can tear ‘em up enough for them to stop being a bother but I ain’t managed to stop one squirming-“ Catching something moving out of the corner of her eye, Mia raised a leg, slamming her heel down into the back of one of the creatures skulls… “Entirely…” Sure the Media might be able to skewer her for treating the corpses of people’s loved ones so harshly later but… hey. Zombie apocalypse. She was sure she could quite literally get a ‘get out of jail free’ card for anything she did today so long as it meant less people joined the undead horde!
Jaz likely not able to offer a clear solution, she just cracked her neck to the side and rolled back her shoulders. “Whelp… guess we best just get to work making sure they got nothing left to squirm with!”
Mia rushed back into the horde on her side, her stance low and bestial. With human foes she had to test their limits, figure out what they could handle and stick to that so she didn’t break them. Fight with some more refined skill to handle their own intelligent minds… not today. She was wild, uncontrolled, but the fact there was no conflict about it in her chest helped suppress the spread of her ‘red rage’ state, leaving her to punch swathes through the indead hordes, literally tearing some limb from limb before hurling their limbless torsos with enough force to shatter the bones of whatever Zombie they landed into. A few moments of reckless undead slaughter came about, till Mia’s ears perked up to a cry for help.
Her eyes dipped up. She couldn’t see what was actually ON the freeway but she knew that rocket coming from the studio wasn’t aimed at nobody this time. She shot her gaze to Jaz without a moment to think twice. “DYNAMITE! BOOST!”
Sadly forgetting her hero codename there was time to apologize later. She barrelled full speed towards Jaz expecting the girl’s reactions to be on par with what she needed. Her eyes flicked up to the sky above her. The rocket started slow but the thrusters had kicked in and it was chucking itself through the sky something fierce. She didn’t look back to Jaz, she judged the distance, she jumped. Her foot met Jaz’s hands as she hoped it would, and with the force of her own kick off her hands combined with Jasmine’s explosive launch Mia was hurting up into the sky above them. She was about to over shoot but with a punch aimed skyward she managed to halt her momentum with the immense opposing force she created, lingering there midway through the rocket’s flight path, pulling her arms in tight around herself and-!
BOOM.
Enguled for a fraction of a second in a cloud of smoke Mia was sent hurtling from it like she was the new missile, her vision dazed, briefly lingering in a state of unconsciousness before her senses kicked back into gear. Didn’t help much. She felt her body collide with the rough tarmac of the free way, landing beside the civilians, her right arm thickly coated in Red skin that was slow to recede, smoke still sizzling from her body as the explosion set some of her flesh briefly alight, patting herself down like it was nothing as her skin seemed to have trouble truly burning despite the force.
She glanced back across to the builder hero and the civilians he was guiding, a deep growl in the base of her throat with every breath, not one she intended to have by any means but present all the same. “Hey…” She simply let out through a winded breath, rolling back her shoulders, the one that took the brunt of the explosion popping several times on a single roll. “You guys should really get somewhere safe…”
Regardless of if they headed her advice, Mia took a few steps forward, slamming her fist under a chunk of tarmac, roaring at the exertion as she wrenched up a good half of the free way for a fair distance, turning it into a wall against further explosions to aid the civilians in their escape before turning her eyes back to the studio, pumping her arms out to make sure they still worked. “Jaz I’m heading to the source. Keep an eye on the people on the freeway and then come join me!”
Jogging the last few meters, Mia kicked hard off the tarmac and leapt up into the air, intending to slam through the walls of the building ahead of her and get to the source of all this to see who the fuck just fired that rocket.

"Good to be here! And wish I could tell you I did. All I know is that these things are pretty damn sturdy!" Jaz exclaimed as she brought both of her hands together. Golden energies crackled around her two outstretched limbs as one hand formed a finger gun, the other a muzzle. Taking aim, she opened fire with her assault rifle, unleashing a hail of explosive gunfire intent on mowing down rows and rows of these freaks standing in their way. "There's no end to them...!" she growled with a click of her tongue as she kept on firing, quickly being forced to backpedal due to their sheer numbers closing in on them. From the corner of her eye she noticed Mia doing exactly what what the wolf had suggested -- the woman was going absolutely ballistic and enjoying every damn second of it. She smirked to herself; the opportunity to let herself completely loose must've felt like breath of fresh air for the Oni given to the back seat those fools up top put her in. Before long the student heard Red Horn's order and immediately got into a stance. She heard the rocket -- she didn't need to look to know what Mia was doing. Hands joined together, the ashen wolf braced as the Oni's gargantuan foot slammed against it with all of her weight. Gritting her teeth and roaring, Jasmine's heels dug straight through the concrete below as she pulled all of her strength together, releasing a massive explosion at the peak of Mia's step to launch the red woman high up into the air. Too high, by the looks of it. Mia slammed against the missile like a battering ram, making Jasmine snort with slight amusement. I could've just shot it down, y'know... she thought as she shook her head, not about to rain on the Hero's parade. There was little time to celebrate Mia's victory. Dozens of those freaks were still closing in on Jasmine and she had to act fast. With limbs doused in chaos and fire, she opened up on every corpse she saw, Blitzkrieg working to full effect as she darted from one group to another, unleashing waves upon waves of Mk2 explosions which kept causing shockwaves strong enough to crack the houses surrounding the street. She kept going at it. On and on and on. Honestly it had started to look like she was starting to make actual progress clearing out the street, until--- ---until a scream ripped through the air like a knife through butter. One split second reaction later Jasmine was already flying towards the scene, having launched herself into the air via an explosion at her feet. Through a window and inside a house, breaking what little remained of the glass with her feet upon impact. Two kids, no older than eight or nine, were cowering on the ground as one of those humanoids slowly approached them, necrotic malice seared over its eyes. "Get off of them!" The wolf roared as she planted her foot in its chest, sending it crashing into the adjacent wall so hard it cracked... though to no surprise of Jasmine the zombie kept coming at her like it had been nothing. She acted fast and ducked low -- there was no time to deal with this bastard. She had to get the kids out. With that thought firmly in mind, she utilized miniature explosions at her feet to give herself a sudden boost of momentum, sliding across the ground as she knocked the corpse off its feet. Then, with a quick and agile boost with her palm against the floor, she spun in mid air and slammed a foot into the zombie's side as hard as she could, launching it out of the house through the very same window the wolf came in. "Hey... hey..." the girl began softly as she approached the two kids, kneeling close to them, yet mindfully keeping her distance. "It's going to be alright now. Backup's here. Heroes are on the scene," slowly, she reached out with her hand, offering it to take for the older of the two siblings; a girl, definitely no older than nine years old, holding her younger brother for dear life. Carefully, she watched Jasmine, a total amount of zero trust in her eyes. She hesitated. The boy cowered.
Jasmine paused and remained quiet. Time seemed to still for the briefest of moments. She smiled, then, "My name's Jasmine," she began. "What's yours?"
The girl, still hesitant, looked up at the wolf. "...Y-Yuzu..." she spoke, voice shaky. "A-and he's my brother... Taka..."
"Hi, Yuzu. Taka. You guys did a great job keeping each other safe," the ashen haired student spoke, a small smile still on her face. "Where's your mommy and daddy? Are they here?"
Yuzu's eyes lit up for the briefest of moments, "N-no... they were at work..."
Good. There's still a chance these kids aren't orphans then, Jasmine thought, hopeful. She nodded, "What do you guys think the three of us get out of here and find your parents?"
"But there's so many of them..."
To this, Jasmine grinned, "Oh we're not going down there," she said, leaning in a little closer to the kids. "Did either of you ever wish you could fly?" And to that, even Taka perked up. It was then that she offered her hand. The two siblings traded scared, confused glances... but what seemed to work in Jasmine's favor was that they were much less scared now than when they were when she first arrived. They accepted her offer and before long she had both children in either hand.
"You two hold on, okay? We're gonna go fast!" The nineteen-year-old said, smiling as she glanced between the two, tightening her grip around them. They nodded as they held onto her clothes tight, readying themselves... and when she was finally off, jumping out of the window and using explosions at her feet to propel the three of them high into the air... let's just say the reactions were mixed. The brave Yuzu had been screeching for dear life, and the terrified Taka's eyes were so damn wide with excitement you'd think he was an adrenaline junkie.
Despite having to reign herself in because of the two kids she was transporting, Jasmine was fast enough to get to the medical station she'd seen previously in record time, handing the kids off to the professionals. "Oi," she grabbed one by the arm. "Take care of them, okay? And please check if their parents are around. They shouldn't be alone-"
"Please be careful, miss Hero!" Jasmine blinked almost dumbly, glancing over her shoulder to see the two kids waving at her. A strange feeling shot through her chest. This was... it felt warm. So warm it tugged at her lips. First, a smile. Then a grin. She held waved back.
"You got it! I'll take you two for a ride again after I kick the bad guys' butts!" The wolf said before launching herself up into the air again and back into the fray. Eyes locked on her target; Mia was going for the source. She would've loved nothing else than to go and help her but she was right. The people on the freeway needed her help.
She was there in less than a minute, landing on the ground with a wave of fiery explosions that cleared a good few undead. Hands rising immediately, she began to blast explosion after explosion, launching multiple corpses off the freeway and back onto the streets. "Come on! Keep going! I'll cover you!"

As Katsumi soared through the skies as fast as she could she looked down and saw more and more of the undead making their way through the streets. It was unsightly to see so many dead beneath her and she felt that looking any longer was going to make her empty the contents of her stomach. She shook her head and kept moving towards the explosion that she noticed earlier, paying no mind to the shambling mass below her. She saw the big rocket heading for the freeway and turned to intercept it, worried that she might not make it in time. She breathed out in relief as she saw the rocket dealt with though she couldn’t quite tell how. She started to move towards the freeway until she saw something in the corner of her vision.
She could see some of the undead splitting off from the main horde, pouring right into an alley. She moved in closer and could hear yelling coming from further in the alley. The alley lead all the way to a dead end, and there, trying to fight the keep the zombies away from himself and his pregnant wife was a man, wounded and bruised but determined to protect his beloved. Katsumi moved in to fend off the zombies from the man. Wordlessly she dropped from above, slamming a metal pole into the lead zombie with a sudden speed that did not naturally from a swing, but from her Augmenting her ability to fight in close range by accelerating the metal poles in her hand.
“Do not worry. They will not be able to harm you while I am here..” She declared, facing against the zombies splitting off and pouring into the alley. “Are you well enough to carry her?” She asked, turning to the man. He gave a slow nod and she nodded back. “Very well, get ready to carry her and run, I’ll clear the path for you.” She tightened her grip on her poles and began slowly walking towards the zombies. ‘Ten zombies.’ She counted. “One.” She quickly stepped into range of a zombie and swung with her Quirk, the zombie’s groan cut off as it was sent flying out of the alley. “Two. Three.” One swing from each pole in hand sent a zombie away at high velocity. “Four!” She swung up with the pole in her right hand, the unfortunate zombie catching a metal stick between the legs as it was launched up. One bold zombie suddenly rushed up to her. “Tch!” Her left hand dropped the pole it was holding as it reached into the pouch and pulled out some screws. A light toss to set them out before her Quirk took care of the rest and gave it speed and stopping power. The screws penetrated into the zombie, stopping it’s charge before she followed the move with another swing and knocked the zombie into the remaining undead. “Five. Six.” The abandoned pole shot forward from its place and punched into a zombie’s face, Katsumi running up to the pole to grab it before it fell and using it to bat it out of the alley. “Seveneightnine!” Using her Quirk on her clothes allowed her to shoulder charge a zombie out of the alley and used the remaining speed to user her poles to deal with two more. “Ten.” She smashed a pole into a zombie’s knees, forced it to lay face down before pulling out a nail using her Quirk to let it punch through the back of its head.
“Go.” The man quickly picked up his wife and opened his mouth to say something. “Don’t waste your time thanking me and go somewhere safe” She said loudly and prompted the man to hurry off as Katsumi exited the alley and drew the horde’s attention to her by hitting the poles in her hand together. “More of you…” She commented as she watched to make sure that the couple were far enough away. “Sadly you will not be dealt with by me...good bye.” She shot back up into the sky and started to fly towards the freeway as fast as she could.
The sound of several things firing reached her ears and she turned to see what it was. Two rockets were heading for her, intercepting her flight path on the way to the freeway. “You are annoying.” Two blasts from her Quirk turned the rockets away, this time she’d made it collide into each other in the horde. She could feel the heat of the explosion in her wake. She stopped for a bit and tried to use her Quirk on a zombie to see if it would be affected before continuing.
“UA Student, designation Chase, reporting in.” She introduced herself as she hovered next to the part of the freeway where the heroes were. She stepped onto the freeway and tensed. “I can be useful for things.”

STORYTELLER The touch of Iida got the zombie with a missing limb and both eyes gone, barely walking, sent flying away by her quirk's power. It tried to lash out at her, but the sudden force applied to it's body got the rest of it's limbs torn off and crashing against a nearby brickwall. At least the very weak zombies can be affected Iida's Vector Redial.
All things considered, despite the unfolding chaos drowning the streets with terror out of the blue, with teamwork and will of staying alive held everyone intact and filled with hope. The rocket soared through the air, the sight of it could be described as 'doom', howver. Only visible with the help of the soon glowing moon, the gathered group witnessed Red Horn flying down towards the course of the rocket with an unwavering will. The impact left the sky quite bright for a second and left even the headstrong heroes down below speechless. Red Horn being able to endure such traumatizing pressure of an explosion got the group raise their hands up and cheered for her. They could feel the force wave through the air from the impact, and the heavy sound of the Pro Hero crashing down against the freeway.
''She took it straight up to the face.. Are you okay! Hey-''
But before Buildmaster could approach her, she already stood up and went on her way, her quick comment made him clench his fist, feeling a great regret, but they couldn't stop now.
''Thank you! Red Horn!''
Quickly after they noticed this young ashen haired girl, with clear intention of being their support pillar. With the tremendous given support by both Jasmine and Mia surely got the group across the entire road and to the large gap. Buildmaster stretched his shoulders and looked back at the group and Jasmine.
''The gap is big, but I'll get up a temporary road in no time! Count on me!''
With that being said, she flexed his arms and sprouted out large plates of iron and nails along with his hands turning into various worktools. During that time another individual approach, a girl with pink hair who offered help. Buildmaster nodded to her and materialized large steelbeams out from his arms.
''Please lend me a hand, use these beams to make quick pillars I can use, I am gonna need someone on the other side to set up the exit of the road, all I can do right now is to make the materials at a fast rate, so please everyone, start building!''
With an encouraged yell he got the group riled up and got busy with their bodies to carry and set up the baseline of the road, all the while Buildmaster being on his left knee and desperately sprouting out enough materials, time was precious and knowing those rockets could come back anytime got him all fired up!
Right below said freeway, the two vigilantes had a bunch of hordes walking together, after the first rocket launcher zombie got taken down, another one emerged from the shadows. These freaks with weapons seemed to hold some form of intelligence, considering the fact it just stepped out the moment both Enda and Teruko got around a sharp corner. The rocket flew straight ahead towards both of them, not only that, but the darn zombie even held a bag attack to it's back, containing plenty more of those rockets, and it was reaching out for the second! Both Enda and Teruko was only one road away from the walls of the abandoned film studio. In their sights, the cloud of smoke was the cause of Red Horn bursting through the wall.
''Huh?''
She heard the noise and turned her head to the right, one eye focusing at the sight of the large one horned pro hero emerging from the clouds of dusts. The heavy coated villain with a very similar hairdo as Mia, stood there with both of her arms raised up with a small flag on each hand, one red and one green. She felt a bit speechless but quickly realized what was happening infront of her. In the same view, she looked back up at the distant freeway... there was no secondary gap? Panzur furrowed her brows and connected the dots, and when looking at Red Horn's body for the second time, she came to a conclusion.
So that's what happened~
She cackled and eased her arms and turned her full attention towards Red Horn, while grinning wide as if she were about to ride on her favourite rollercoaster. Raising both arms she gave the pose of someone welcoming someone grand and very important to her!
''Is my eyes deceiving me or is that THE Red Horn, the beast herself?! What a surprise! I expected big shots to arrive, but I got a HUGE one this time around! You must be awfully eager to know what's happening, well if you take a good look, I am taking the role as-..''
She waved her arms and flags around which results into a striking pose!
''Supreme Zombie Conductor!- Oh and before I forget, maybe try not to ruin that for me? I got like at least thirty more trucks full of zombies to release out, they got a duty, and what good is a soldier left unused! But by the looks of your expression, something tells me you won't let me do that...''
As she kept on monolouging, the groups of zombies standing around her platform and waiting for her commands all just there silently, almost too silent. She dug her hand inside of one of her oversized coat pockets, pulling out a remote controller with an radio antenna on the top.
''But don't be naive, a leader never fights on the front, I may not be the true creator of this project, but I'd like to think I am in an important position~''
She clicked on her remote controller and spoke into it, keeping her eyecontact with Red Horn without blinking once.
''Thirty degree horizontal, frontal thrust, two meters and twenty five centimeters, initiate.''
And not even a second too soon or too late, the moment her words got sent, a few muffled sounds of thuds came from Red Horn's left side, where a wall is located, and from that wall, a large navy blue hand crushed through the concrete and aimed right for the Pro Hero's head. Despite with a concrete wall between her and the incoming enemy, it was disgustingly fast, grabbing around on the side of Mia's head and forced to get pulled inside the building!
It possessed a strength capable of bending steel, and its grip around Mia's head being a very clear indicator it was not holding back. Once the large specimen pulled Mia through the wall, it violently tossed her across the large room and towards another concrete wall! When being inside the building, she could definitely see the creature was nearly four meters tall, and had a build that spoke raw power. Both of its eyes glowed orange, and the face resembled a shark with a metallic texture.

Good...
[break][break]
Despite the beefy woman's size, she was definitely a veteran on the field and her quick thinking showed! Plus, she didn't get upset with him so that was a plus! Part of him harbored some fleeting concerns, worried that his course of action would have made it seem like he doubted her ability to hold her own. Then again, that would have been better than her being hurt, he could handle her attitude if it meant getting to see her smile again after all this was over. Absolutely worth the anger over another misunderstanding...
[break][break]
Instead of getting snark or a lecture, he had her gratitude rather than attitude and that gave him a little moment of butterflies on the inside. In fact, that scaly hand on the back of his neck just encouraged him to completely and utterly wreck this zombie's shit! Who they were, what they used to do, the dreams and aspirations that used to comprise their very soul...that was dead and in the past, just like their manipulated corpse. He and Teruko were among the living, as were the civilians counting on all of the heroes on the scene. Plus, with everything they had been going through...he was glad that they took a chance on each other.
[break][break]
The kaiju woman for trusting him enough to appoint him as a member of her team, despite all that he did to upset her...she still found it in her heart to forgive him. As for himself? Enda wasn't sure about the whole work with a team shtick since he didn't know whether or not he could trust himself around others, he used to enjoy tormenting and murdering those who crossed him. That kind of mental instability left unchecked, he knew what he could do if he snapped...but she actually believed in him. It was something he held onto and close to his heart, so for her, he was willing to try being part of a team. Things were finally different and he really was getting better after all, Teruko, she wasn't wrong to place such a daring bet on this crazy guy!
[break][break]
They took care of the first obstacle, thankfully! With a sigh of relief concealed within his somewhat manic chuckles, he noticed things were getting handled from the freeway of chaos. That meant they could look into the studio which seemed to be the source, maybe? "Mmm nice catch~" Hovering alongside his lovely lady with a devilish smirk, canine teeth flowing from his palm and forming rapidly into a ball. "Round two, eh~? Mmmmaybe~" Cooing out those words toward her, it certainly wouldn't hurt to do some good ol' fashion follow up, would it? Toying with the thought in his head, he wouldn't be able to pull the same stunt off twice without the hidden pipe surprise.
[break][break]
At least he was ready, standing by for the moment they'd spot another foe on their little investigation mission.
[break][break]
SPEAK OF THE UNDEAD DEVIL! A little shit among the hordes and crowd had a rocket launcher and...squinting his lone visible eye... "The fuck?!" Oh shit, that guy was packing heat and he was reaching for another rocket from...his bag?! HOLY SHIT...that meant these guys weren't typical horror movie zombies, more like Bio Doom, or President Evil in the American release! Oh yes, the smart bioweapons..ughhhhhhhh!
[break][break]
He didn't wait, he flung the tooth ball over at that missile and clenched his teeth, snapping his fingers so that the ball would rapidly spread out to a circular shield-like shape to collide with it at a safe distance from the pair. His opposite hand began rapidly manifesting another round of teeth as he took in a sharp breath, feeling his body subtly twitch from his nerves crawling about with delightful pain. Okay, tanking this shit one after the other, he had to keep it together...keep it together for Teruko. As the shield of teeth cracked, he swept his hand across and that triggered the six fractured pieces to fire toward the second rocket launcher zombie. Three pieces toward the face, eyes, nose and mouth, three aimed for the ammo bag...then snapping his fingers for a pineapple grenade style scatter shot.
[break][break]
The sudden dust cloud from the wall was admittedly a bit of a surprise...who was that, though? It looked...kinda beefy, maybe blonde? Ugh...he couldn't see the figure very clearly, but it didn't seem to be of immediate concern right now, plus, the guy had quite a bit on his plate as is! "Try blasting em' at the knees, you know, make em' bow for their Kaiju Queen!" Making these zombies unable to walk would help, he figured...but he had the back up ball of teeth ready and keeping it coated in his blue, fluoride flames. Ready to either go on the offense or defense yet again! Plus, he had faith in her kaiji blasts being too damn legit! IN YOUR FACE, EVERYONE WHO THOUGHT THOSE WERE CGI EFFECTS, BITCHES PLEASE! O.G KAMIREX IS A BADASS!
[break][break]
....at least in his book.
[BREAK][BREAK]
Either way he kept glancing around with his visible eye to make sure he was watching Teruko's back and ready to react accordingly! Ahhhh man the bits of pain lingering through his body was actually kinda nice though, he wasn't dead and still among the living, yaaaay~!

Post by Teruko Serizawa on Aug 11, 2020 19:29:29 GMT -4
maybe the real monsters were the friends made along the way ENDA'S SINGSONG RESPONSE BROUGHT A SMILE to Teruko’s face. What a card. Her delight was short-lived for, as the pair rounded a sharp corner, another damn zombie appeared, leveling another rocket launcher at them. Ooohhh great.
“What’s with all these stiff with weapons?!” she snapped.
Enda was quick to react, the ball of teeth clattering into a shield, protecting them, before combusting into a scatter-shot of six pieces aimed at their attacker. At her companion’s behest, the Kaiju lunged into action, snarling at the approaching hordes.
“Blasting” was ambiguous. Did he mean with fiery breath? Or with brute strength?
Despite the chaos around them, Teruko wasn’t quite nervous enough for the fiery breath… so… into the fray she went. No more hiding behind Enda. That’d get her pulse up. The woman fell onto on all fours, closing the distance between them and the now-impaled rocket-launcer zombie. She reached for its head, grasping it with her taloned hand. Then, with the full weight of her arm, she brought it down, slamming the miserable creature face-down into the ground and further skewering it’s face with teeth-shield shards.
It… seemed to do the job, for Teruko’s hand came away… goopy.
“Ew,” the woman groaned, flicking her hand in disgust. The goop spattered to the ground, while still clinging to her hand. She’d need a grade-A shower after this. And… wow, if she could help it, she really didn’t want to go hand-to-hand with these foul bastards. Lesson, learned.
Teruko surveyed the zombie to make sure it really was down—although, with a head as crumpled as that, it definitely wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon… except, perhaps, via cleaning crew. And—oo, what was that? A bag? Teruko lifted the edge of it, spying… lots of ammo inside. Woo, nice. In one, fluid motion she hooked her claw under the strap and pulled. Then she repeated the motion on the other strap, freeing the bag altogether.
Her range was nowhere near as good as Enda’s, but while his fire didn’t seem to… follow the usual “burning” laws that fire did… Teruko’s fiery breath burned hot. And… these were explosives…
A meanness crept into the woman’s smile. Maybe she wouldn’t need to sully her hands any more than she already had…
Teruko padded towards Enda, holding the mouth of the bag in her still-somewhat-slimy hand open towards him. She closed the distance between the two of them, her eyes glittering wildly. The spines on her back were humming with anticipation, glowing a brilliant blue.
“Look what that fucker was packing,” she whispered eagerly, “A whole shit-ton of rockets. You know what I’m thinking?”
Maybe he did. Maybe he didn’t. Oh man, this could be super cool if it worked.
“It’s kind-of brutal, so if you aren’t down with it, you get to be bait,” Teruko trilled. Perhaps, deep down, she recalled—or perhaps, had an inkling—about her partner’s sadomasochistic tendencies. (As if the fact that he'd skewed a zombie with shield-shards wasn't enough of an indicator.) But it was good to communicate one’s limits.
“I’m thinking one-part fireworks festival, and one-part parade,” Teruko said eagerly, “I know the freeway’s already gone to shit, but we don’t need to make it worse, so… one of us lures the zombies away, perhaps closer to the studio, the other finds a good place to stick the rockets at intervals throughout the horde… and then I bring the fire. What do you think?”
Teruko could hardly believe that such a visceral idea was coming from her. She was the owner of a bakery that specialized in cute little cakes and pies—a family-aged woman who, despite having no biological progeny, still managed to amass a gaggle of surrogate kids from the community. And here she was, this cute, motherly baker, proposing turning these jerks into undead roman candles.
It was sure as fuck a lot less work than smashing each, individual skull with her bare hands, though. And a whole lot less slimy, too. With steady hands, Teruko tied the straps at the free end, making a sort of shoulder-bag.
Assuming that the guy agreed with her, the irreverent yet topical question that followed was,
“So, what’s your pleasure? Pied Piper, or Vlad the Impaler?”
If Enda chose to be the one leading the zombies away from the freeway, Teruko would thread non-dominant arm through the makeshift shoulder-strap, and trundle in the opposite direction. In her dominant arm, she’d grasp a rocket in her fist.
“Hey, assholes!” she would shout, “Is this what decomposition does to a person, or were you always this ugly?”
The taunt would, at least from a “oo, a sound!” perspective, snag their attention—at which point, Teruko would grapple the nearest zombie with her bare hands, clutching its head and ramming the rocket into either its eye-socket or mouth, size of the ammunition determining.
If Enda chose to be the one impaling the zombies with rockets, Teruko would drape the now-shoulder bag over his head, as if he were a courier in this weird, post-apocalyptic world, and trundle towards the front of the crowd instead, shouting the same taunt to get them to follow her.
And, regardless of what Enda chose, she’d pat his cheek with one hand and say, “Do me a favor, Toothy—stay in one piece,” before charging off to do what needed to be done.
