The streets of Tokyo were barren, devoid of life – at least, in a literal sense. For there were numerous people walking the streets, hobbling up and down, with no clear goal in mind, and with the visage of death upon their face. This was, of course, until someone unfortunate enough was to cross paths with the stumbling dwellers of the streets. Within windows of shops, some had televisions depicting a news report on the phenomena. It'd broken through the borders of Tokyo at this point, a warning to the country, and possibly to the world. THE DEAD WALK
“God damnit, where's the fucking meeting point?” A question echoing the streets and towards the land that lay ahead. This came from a man, a common salaryman, dripping with sweat, soaking through his unbuttoned shirt. His question soon drew attention of a figure not too far from him – one standing totally still. Quickly, the salaryman walked over, to ask for help: “Hey, are you safe? Are you like me?” The figure did not reply. All they did was turn around, and the salaryman's question was answered: they were dead. A corpse that had been revived, rotting flesh and all, and was now hobbling towards the salaryman. “Y-y-you get the FUCK away from me! Get away!” he yelled, running in the opposite direction. As soon as he did, a similar looking corpse was moving towards him, groaning as parts of its flesh dripped off, revealing a bloated eye stuck within a grotesque brown skull. Slowly but surely, more joined, and soon the man was totally circled by the dead. Some seemed so far gone that all their flesh was stripped away, leaving naught but bone and sinew. “GET AWAY FROM ME! GET AWAY!” he kept crying, but it was too late. The dead bodies grabbed parts of his body, ripping them away, tearing flesh and muscle with little effort. Still, he remained defiant: “ [smear:#000000]LEAVE ME BEEEeee-[/smear:#b91919:0]” However, his scream was cut short. A nightmarish sound of the man's head being pulled off with bare strength, his scream reaching higher and higher as his vocal chords shredded in sickening detail. All the while, the corpses feasted on his body, consuming the leftovers of a man condemned to the depths of pain before the sweet release. All they did was eat and groan, the murmurs of creatures, no longer human. They were zombies. Close by, numerous people still around would be able to hear the horrifying sound – ones bringing hope in this time of darkness. However, there were to be some older enemies not too far behind either.
From beyond the yells, a man, not too young, flipped a bloody coin in the air. As the death rattle pierced the silence of the city, he could only chuckle. However, in a moment, he turned serious, and grabbed the coin in his hand, the side unknown to him. He sniffed the air for a moment, and spoke aloud. “ It's her. Looks like I should tie up some loose ends, huh.” He looked at his hand, cracked and grey. “ Let's see which part I do the most damage to.” he said, opening the palm to see the contents of the coin. In the midst of the chaos, fire, electricity, and ash spreading in the city centre, a large creature stood in the presence of the dead. What once shone with elegance was now cursed, the skin of the being cracked with age and dust. But yet, they were stronger than before. The fire occasionally lit them, a silhouette of a great animal behind the smoke of wrecked vehicles. A head raised out of the chaos, looking towards the sky. They too, sensed something. “It must be. That stench... it is the mark of my undoing.” The creature slid through the streets, surrounded by smoke and debris, as it made haste towards what it was looking for.
Back in the carnage of the salaryman's wasted body, more zombies were joining the group, eating what remained. Soon, however, they looked up, smelling the fresh meat that lay not far from there. However, as they would soon find out, a return to the ground they were buried in wasn't far away...

Her phone buzzed and the specific kind of rhythm was made only for one particular chat and when she opened it, she frowned. What? They had to be kidding right and she stopped in her walking and well it was good if Melody paid attention and wouldn't bump into her. "We have to go." She looked up to the nurse that was passing her, telling her that they were leaving and would come back another day, telling them to lock the doors, make sure the windows were blocked and who knew what more was necessary. "Don't let anyone in or out without making sure that they are alive." And she stared, she was dead serious, she pulled Melody with her to her little office where she took the grey and blue outfit out of a bag and started to drop it over her clothing, pinning her hair on the back of her head after she braided it. "Alright listen very carefully to me." She said while changing into her hero outfit. "Last few days it has been in the news that bodies of dead people are dug up. Well, apparently they are walking now. I got a message from the Pro-hero board. I need you to stay close to me, I have no idea yet how we fix this, but we are going to do so." She took a make-up cleaning pad and cleaned the foundation of her face, showing the red markings back.
That was her identity now. As a civilian she started hiding the red markings on her face, as pro-hero she did not but she hid the green colour of her hair with a hoody that was pinned on the sides to her hair that would make it so that it wouldn't fall off with the smallest breeze or biggest blizzard (albeit it would) but for now it was important to get going. She had always ushered Melody to take her hero outfit with her, so she assumed that when she started changing the girl would do so too. They would have to hurry out of the building and go to where the police asked for support. They would not have much to go with, cabs and other driving civilians should be out there but she got here by car... fuck. Right well ehm, she would have to call Giovanni later and she managed a quick text with telling him to stay inside and be safe. She couldn't say more as she hurried down the stairs and would take Melody outside, to the car and to the spot, what they saw was just freaky. Only from a closer spot did they notice and she almost hit someone with her car when they arrived at their destination.
Nimue's eyes turned big in surprise but also disgust as she tried to get out and noticed the head no longer attached to the body. "Like I said, be very careful and stay near me." With a medical kit attached to the back of her belt and the three separate pieces of her spear she clicked them together, but where to start? Should she even yell for the civilians around to leave and go back to their homes and protect themselves? But that would bring attention to the two of them, she looked at Melody, it was worth it for protecting people but was it worth it to put her student in danger?

G saw the chat. The Conductor, whoever he was posted about Frothing people eating faces and whatnot. Zombies were a thing. G kissed Hana and told her to stay home, lock the doors, get whatever she can to use a weapon and that he will go out to make sure their home is safe. He doesnt want the apocalypse to get to their home. He was gonna stop it. He is ready for this. He played all the horror survival zombie games and he is a badass Vigilante with a super power. He knows what tropes to avoid. Granted he does fit one trope in those games. He is the badass dad that gets killed in the sequel. Luckily this aint a sequel
He gets dressed up and geared up, grabs a bottle and goes out. Outside, he does indeed see some survivors who run for their lives and then there are the shambling zombies. Luckily they are not runners. G as he approached a zombie, smashed a bottle against a wall to draw their attention. As the two approached eachother, G being the living one with the faster reflexes, grabs the zombie pulls him in his attack which is a broken bottle in the throat. Then throwing the zombie down on the ground and stomping on its head, squashing it. To any onlooker it might be a bit... eerie how he did that so ... easily. Sure they were dead. But its like he had experience killing someone.
G only looked at his white sneakers which were bloody "Fuck. ... Welp, gonna need to buy new shoes after this. Gonna keep these babies in case of a real apocalypse" he thought to himself. He continued walking and clearing up any zombie. G wished he had guns now because he wanted to conserve his Quirk. As he went on, he heard a scream. Probably more zombies, he approached that location where the scream was. Along the way he found another dead body. Like dead dead, freshly dead. Most likely recently killed by a zombie. G crouched down and... looted. He found that this recently deceased person had a switch blade. He was most likely a thug. G simply pocketed the weapon for himself as it would be useful. Maybe he could try stealthing if he sees zombies? Well, he will see. For a while he continued alone, clearing up any skeleton or zombie he could find. But then he stoped when he saw two figures in the distance. "Yo! Are you alive or are you dead?" he asked the 2 figures in the distance whose backs are turned. Little did he know that he knew the two. Nimue and her apprentice

"Yeah Yeah...I know I know! Okay! I got ya keep your shirt on for cripes sake I'm goin' to take care of it. I killed him once before I can do it again!" click [break][break]
carrying an electronic tablet in her hands Yuka made her way up the stairs of the evacuated building she had chosen to survey the situation. A zombie attack was something out of a comic book in her eyes but with an all hands on deck order from the big guys in charge of the PSC she had no choice but to take a more active role this time around. [break][break]
The sound of sirens in the distance was haunting yet unsurprising given at how fast information traveled in the agency. The gravedigging was something that they had been aware of for a while and yet unable to track down the cause. It seemed pretty apparent now that it was all for the sake of this but...for what goal? These zombies didn't seem to be enhanced in any way or at least the normal ones weren't. As she ascended the final step she shoved open the door only to be greeted by a shuffling, smelly zombie as it tried to latch onto her. Without hesitation, she took a deep breath and sent the corpse flying across the rooftop as it hit the guard rail and fell a story to the ground below. Taking a moment to compose herself the scare she moved over to the spot where it fell and looked down to see that her unfortunate victim had just barely missed the two girls below. [break][break]
She narrowed her eyes trying to make out and discernible features from the distance between them. As she focused the figure below turned which was enough for Yuka to make out some features and with the red marks, she quickly determined this must be Witch Doctor. Recently having read her file since her appointment to the '#1 Hero' spot it wasn't that easy to mistake her for someone else. Internally she sighed as she knew that part of her job was to determine which heroes and other parties had made it onto the scene. She was hoping that there would be enough to help with the evacuation as well as the imminent arrival of an old foe. So even though she had just climbed to the top to finish some work related to what she had seen since she arrived she exhaled as a lilac color surrounded her and she took a step off of the roof. Her descent was slowed as she landed very delicately a few feet away from Nimue and Melody "Yoohoo!" she waved trying to get their attention "Witch Doctor? Hi! I'm with the National Public Safety Division." she flashed the badge she wore around her neck "You planning on dealing with this infestation? I need to figure out who's on-site for this and.." she moved her head to the side to look past the two ladies to see G looking in there direction. Given his infamy and position as a vigilante, she knew alllll about him. "...Is that G?" she pointed to direct their attention behind them as she took the time to write down who was currently with them.

RISAKA REINACHTSecond Year U.A / Miss Gray
''Everyday I ask myself if I even should bother'' words • tagged @ • notes | She felt mad, beyond she usually felt, one could say the gray student had a promising day look forward to, but lord behold, a supposedly sudden apocalypse has emerged among Tokyo and the Outskirts. She gritted her teeth thinking just how ridiculous all of this had turned out to be. At first she got called and assigned to the school gym of UA with the intention of helping out the cause. She quickly got her destination along with a group, but alas to certain circumstances she got separated by the rest. Near the edge of the Outskirts she needed to avert from the road when the bus got forced to drive out off course. Everyone jumped out one way or another, but Risaka misplaced her judgement and ended up way further back from the rest. She needed to stay in the clear until she found others to regroup with.
''Dammit all, dammit! We haven't reached to the destination yet, but still we got swarmed like sitting ducks! But, I can't stay around and wait, I need height, I need to scout..''
With her calculative mind she determined her chances for survival to be far more reasonable if she took the route where no zombies should be at. She readied her legs, hearing nearby zombies coming around the corners from the side of the road, but before her space got swarmed she jumped up and used her dexterious body to smoothly climb up the terraces of the building. From one edge to another she lounged herself up to the roof and lands on one foot and knee. She huffs and had a mighty furious expression, but she felt happy to not have to use her quirk just to get away.
''Alright, Reinchact, let's get somewhere and get this over with, no zombie should exist, despite how much I enjoy horror movies.. the destination given should be down this road with tall commercial buildings.''
She got her body moving with long steps but yet fast, enough speed to do confident leaps between buildings as she travelled downwards the street, looking over the place filled with emerging zombies from every corner, but before she could go even further she heard the yell of a man. Her instinct kicked in and gritted her teeth, and turned her body sharp to the side and took a new course to the left. Seeking out the source of the scream she discovered a civilian completely stranded.
''A kid? Those bastaaaards..''
Hissing out her words she did not hesitate a single second to get into action. Her quirk; Anti Wonderland activated with a sudden strong vaccum of all colours around her absorb into her body. The kid down by the road, standing ontop of a truck cried and fended himself with a mere pipe. The gray lass launched from the rooftop with a powerful jump, leaving the material on the edge all cracked due to her enhanced strength.
''U-uuuh! Uwah! G-get away! No!''
Those tears flowing down from his large eyes simply could not stop, despite hitting the climbing corpse it just would not falter to the youth's effort. And right before the moment the zombie decides to lash at the kid, the colour coated student crashed down onto the roof of the truck and blocks the hit with her fist. The zombie groans and Risaka stares at the thing with disgust. She would've smashed the fucker into the truck if she knew these were actually genuine zombies! She wanted to hold back incase this was a case of hypnotized civilians. But a mad grin rises from her stonecold expression when realizing this very fact.
''Tch! Don't worry kiddo, a opponent with a brain is far scarier than one with none.''
It groans out loudly and attempts to bite at Risaka, but Risaka silences the bit by crashing her elbow straight into it's mouth. For many this is a poor decision, but her enhanced durability did not give in to the feeble hunger of the corpse.
''Go back into the ground you worthless scum..!''
And as she declares her anger she pushes herself forward, forcing the zombie to fall back with her elbow still inside. She uses her body strength to crash down, landing on one foot and crushing the foul creature's head into pieces against the truck with a quaking force! Risaka looked back at the kid who was still scared shitless, and obviously completely frozen. But Risaka takes this opportunity to run back to him and scoop him up and jump off from the truck before three more zombies succesfully climbed up. She held the kid close with one arm and grans at the side of the building, looking down at the arm reaching crowd. She sighs and climbs up to the roof and puts the boy down.
''H-huuuh.. uwah! T-that was scary waah!''
She grits her teeth once more and squats down to the boy's height and pats his head, trying her best to be reassuring of his safety.
''Now now... this is no time to cry, nothing will hurt you when I am here, anyways... how did you end up there?''
She stared at him with her golden topaz eyes, a bit frightening at first for the poor young kid, but he finally musters up and wipes his tears to the side.
''I-I-I just wanted to... uuuu-uuuh... I just wanted to get away, I had nowhere to go, everywhere... one of them stood there and got their eyes on me... monsters and skeletons! So I climbed up...''
She frowns at the sound of his words, even skeletons now? Was this still a zombie apocalypse or a bigger force? She rubbed her chin while pondering until hearing a nearby feminine voice. On the other side of the building she looked over at the street, seeing individuals across of the car-ridden road. People with a brain! Just what she needed too. She waved her arms in attempt to get their attention.
''Hey! You guys! Up here! I got a kid up here, bring any survivor to the rooftops if you can!''
And she could've sworn one of the individuals standing over there is the head nurse of UA, Witch Doctor, but it was hard to judge due to the distance, she just hoped the rest also proved to be a great help, for a bunch zombies was in need for purging. She cracks her knuckles and looked down at the road, seeing the many zombies walking among the car wrecks.
''Looks like I am gonna have to use all of my energy and strength today, time to get slaying.'' |

You sure you can keep up with a woman like me~?
❝ Overnight Training Camp cancelled by Night of the Living Dead? Building rushing past her periphery as she squeezed her grip more tightly onto the steering wheel of a ride that was not her usual option of sleek and sporty but rather big and tough, Maya Murasaki let out a short sigh as she curled the jeep in which she sat around one corner and then another, and couldn’t help but look toward the woman at her side out of the corner of her eye as she did so. Can’t say if I’m disappointed, or delighted? Not quite sure what to feel after having been forced to cut short a trip with her perky protégé thanks to a call she had taken only a matter of minutes ago from the PSC, while on the one hand a little more hands on experience for their dynamic duo would probably prove of greater value than spending the evening and night trading blows and snuggling up in sleeping bags in the woods, at the same time she couldn’t help but feel like she had missed an opportunity or something thanks to the all hands on deck alert. And that was without even considering the nature of the event that she was guiding them toward. “Hey, did you ever see that movie where the guys try and weather out the zombie apocalypse in a bar?” For the moment though more concerned with the headspace of the blonde beside her than she was with the hopped up horror that they were driving toward, Miss Murasaki cocked her head and spoke casually toward Kanna as she tried to get a beat on how the girl with the green gaze was feeling, whilst also hoping that her casual conversation in the face of chaos would be enough to take the mind of her mentee off the malignance they were probably going to face. “Dave of the Dead, or something?” Instead far happier to spend their last few minutes before reaching their venue chatting about matters that had barely any relevance to the situation at hand but plenty of entertainment value, the violet eyed vixen found herself frowning as she clawed her mind for an answer that seemed to not quite settle in her palm, but with any luck her vagueness wouldn’t prove much of an obstacle. She was just trying to engage the girl, after all. “Heeheehehee, wow, already thinking about victory, and then a drink after~?” Luckily for her the lass reminding the rowdy raven of exactly why she considered the emerald eyed enchantress to be her perfect protégé and future partner if all things went well, after giggling at the answer for a moment Maya shook her head from side to side with a show of disapproval for the attitude that was demonstrated so brazenly, but they both knew that the black beauty would not be able to keep that false scolding up for long. “Seems I’ve taught you well~?” All too eager to cock her head to one side as she bit into her lip and beamed toward her golden girl, the Asian amazon smiled at the assurance of her young charge if nothing else and felt as if she was looking into a mirror, albeit one that took a couple of years of maturity off her. Maybe. “Ah, and here I was thinking it was all a big hoax~?” Unfortunately afforded little time to disregard the severity of their situation when it seemed that one of the strolling dead saw fit to lumber around on a course that would take them not too far off the path of the borrowed jeep they were riding in, even though it felt like an easy target Miss Murasaki couldn’t help but twist the wheel in her hand and gun the engine just enough that she lurched across the road suddenly to smack at least one figure in the undead legion back on their ass, and even though she knew that the handsome lifeguard she had loaned her ride from would likely be a little lacking for amusement if his car came back with the stains of blood and guts upon it she couldn’t help but feel good for doing so. “Is it bad that the idea of fighting corpses to me is like… ‘Yay, no holds barred’~?” In all honesty the terror of having these strange things lurking the streets seeming to be supplanted by a measure of excitement at the fact that she could call ‘open season’ on any and all rotting rivals with relative ease, given how she so frequently had to cull the full force with which she was capable the dark driver almost felt like she had the perfect chance to blow off some steam, and knew that both her and her student might just find the whole situation that bit easier to deal with if they imagined their enemies more as stumbling punch bags than anything else. It was ruthless, but in this situation, likely effective. “Looks like we’re almost there~” For that reason seeming to feel a spark of exhilaration flood her heart as she turned another bend and saw the sacred ground to which they intended to arrive climbing rapidly in the distance before them, one could only imagine the rush that this ravishing rider felt when she also happened to spy an ambling pack of potential targets, but as Maya squeezed the wheel one needed no guesswork to realize the result of all the factors at play. “Hold on tight, it’s time to make an entrance!” Grinning from ear to ear as she lined herself up on a collision course and prepared both herself and her passenger for a move which had been pulled straight from the playbook of yet another film from a foreign land, just as she was about to plunge through the middle of the pack the pugnacious pro shook her head and then jerked the wheel of her vehicle to one side as she slammed the breaks hard and sent both the car and the people within it into a spin, turning the jeep into a whirling machine of death for any recently returned soul to the world and perhaps even some unlucky ones who hadn’t had the chance to depart it yet as well…

Well, that was new... Seriously, this shit felt like something ripped off a video game, and for all she knew, it might as well be. Really, who knows where the quirker responsible even came up with such a cheeky little idea. In the end, Kanna barely had time to get herself geared up, grab her gun and whatever armor pieces she could slip on... For most people, finding out they were now stuck inside some Zombie B-movie would have surely freaked them out, but not Kanna clearly... As she rode on her mentor's passenger seat, silently regretting having missed the chance for a long night well spent with her... She couldn't help but smile, all but grinning like a kid in a candy shop, or in this case, in her very own survival horror game. Loading her rifle, checking if she her mag was full, giving her brand new weapon one last inspection before the last trial by fire. Nothing really seemed to unnerve her beyond the palpable palpitation in her chest, but even that didn't prevent Maya from getting a couple laughs out of her:
"Oooof... Sure have... Fuck that's gotta be the best place to spend the apocalypse in right?", snickered the blonde, her smile widening as she thought back to the rather memorable English film her marvellous mentor went and though up, chuckling as her hand slid up and grabbed on to the handhold just above the door, looking to the devious driver at her side and chuckling, "...Y'know once we're done here... We should totally find ourselves a bar for a drink~" For some reason, she could never quite look away when she had Maya on the driver's seat like this... Go figure, but it truly seemed as though driving was where the seductive siren truly looked the biggest, baddest bitch Kanna had ever laid eyes on. Who knows, maybe they'd actually run over a zombie or two before their feet touched the ground. Now wouldn't that be something pulled right out of a movie: "Ooof, careful there...! We're hitting their turf now.", added the blonde, brow raising as she spotted the odd zombie left and right. Soon, they'd be seeing hundreds more so than the odd dozen or so... In the end, Kanna couldn't help but laugh at Maya's choice of words, looking at her mentor out the corner of her eye like a pro gamer staring at just another noob... But since she knew this wasn't really a video game, and she wasn't even a gamer to begin with, the blonde merely flashed her a cocky grin and nudged her reassuringly "Fuck no it ain't~... Go wild won'tcha? I mean the dead donn't give a shit~ Just don't forget the double tap will ya?", she added, perhaps betraying a bit of that morbid excitment that for the most part she managed to keep under wraps, the blonde could only snicker as she once more shot a look outside the window revealed more and more Zombies pouring in from alleyways, merely the remains of the long dead citizens. The fact that Kanna could actually smile in such a grim scenario no doubt betrayed a distinctive, if not disturbing lack of empathy, but if the look on Maya's face was anything to go by, her mentor didn't really care too much. Alas, all of that changed the moment she pushed the pedal to the metal, making her eyes shoot wide as she held on tighter. Now, ordinarily, Kanna had grown used to Maya's daredevil bouts. But it just so happened that this time around, they had quite a number of obstacles readily getting in their way: "H-Holy shit... Matt's gonna kill ya if you keep trashing his ride like that~", gasped the blonde, her bewilderment quickly turning into an audible laughter of pure, ecstatic delight as her marvellous mentor plowed through a horde of Zombies like a lawnmower through tall grass, making her utterly pleased at their decision to borrow the ripped lifeguard's ride for a couple of days. Mind you when they borrowed it, neither of the two ever mentioned they'd be taking it to a Zombie apocalypse... But in their defense, neither of the two ever expected such a thing could ever transcend the realm of hollywood B-flicks

Melody was following behind Nimue rather closely in the hallway. She was texting as they walked in the U.A general chat and also in the frathouse chat, enjoying some of the new changes in her life. However suddenly Nimue stopped walking and melody was about half an inch behind her quickly stopping and backing up before Nimue noticed how close she was. She tilted her head as Nimue told her the pair had to go, what happen? was there a problem? "What's wrong Miss Nakahara?" she asked in an extremely confused tone. She followed quickly behind her, putting her phone in her purse and rushed into the small office with Nimue as she was debriefed on the situation. Melody wasted no time in preparing herself. She put down her purse and pulled out her hero outfit with the special fabric meant to change into water alongside her. She quickly turned her body into water and absorbed the outfit into her and left her uniform in a pile next to her. With how quickly she changed her outfit melody quickly had a chance to pull out the hilt of her sword, with the click of a button the sword extended out from it's hilt. Melody then unlocked the chamber of her sword and quickly filled it with the vials of water that charlie made for her, she took the chance to speak to Nimue during this "How is that even possible? What kind of monster was born with a quirk like this.." she said with a disgusted and angry look on her face. "A quirk...that could torture the hearts of those dead and those still living..despicable.." she said clenching her fist at her side. Luckily her mother's body was still in america so there was no chance that she was still alive. She'd have to thank the prawn again for this sword, it worked like a dream. She flicked it back into place and spun the chamber to make sure it was working correctly and locked into place. After the pair were ready to go, she jumped into the car with Nimue and yelped as she narrowly avoided the reanimated corpse. When melody and Nimue approached the scene an absurd amount of chaos began to unfold around the two. Her old teacher and employer G showed up out of nowhere...or at least she thought it was G...Then a person who recognized Nimue appeared and started keeping tack of everyone who was around, seems like she's part of the group Elise was a part of too. Risaka then came out of nowhere too, looks like she got out of the city as quickly as she could. She hadnt really seen the girl since the last sports festival that the two worked together in. Melody then shuddered as she remembered how she had to latch onto risa during that fight...oh god...As melody reminisced in past shenanigans a rather interesting sight came into view. Melody watched in horror AS A CAR CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND SLAMMED INTO A CROWD OF ZOMBIES. Melody stared in horror, the horror then turned into anger. How irresponsible! What if Maya and Kanna accidentally hurt someone or that little stunt hit one of them! What the hell!? "What kind of entrance was that..?!" she said giving a look of disapproval and putting both of her hands on her hips to the pair who approached standing right next to Nimue. Welp melody was most certainly judging the last two to join this ragtag team that formed. She saw a pair of zombies who managed to survive the car attack, they were about to jump Maya and Kanna but melody acted quickly on her feet. She grabbed the hilt of her blade and unsheathed, she pressed the trigger for her cartridge to release the water from the hilt. She sang out a small note as the edge of the blade sharpened with water. She stabbed the first zombie several times in the chest sending it back and as the one to her left approached her she quickly sliced of it's right arm, then it's left and then cleanly chopped it's head off. when she was done she realized she ended it in a ballerina's pose as the water returned to the cartridge. When she realized her pose, she quickly became flustered and red as she wasnt used to this crowd...there was like three familiar faces but everyone else was new..oh god how embarrassing..she quickly sheathed her sword and went back to Nimue's side as stayed silent. "Im...aquatica..." she said introducing herself to the group and specifically Yuka since it seemed like she was keeping head count.

The ragtag group of survivors, had in one way or another, managed to convene at this spot, just on the outskirts of Tokyo. Some knew each other, some did not, but they were all equal in this horrid situation – all were people in real danger, and would need to band together to survive the hordes of the undead.
As the Jeep burst onto the scene, tracks of blood coming from each of the wheels from running down the zombies, the commotion reverberated through the empty landscape, and soon enough, the sound attracted another, much larger, horde of the undead. And not just the sound, either – the gathering of further meals to satiate the ravenous, yet unguided hunger of these rotting bodies, all in one place? It was irresistible to them. Rather quickly, a small squadron of attackers came to try and ravage the Jeep, trying to rip pieces off, peeling the metal of the car like a can, trying to open it to find the tasty goods within. Blood smeared over the windows, as both broken hands and even purely bone fingers attacked the protective screen, attempting to bash them down. Some of the undead forces were even attempting to tip the Jeep over, albeit in an unorganised fashion. Through the bloody windows, however, the two inside would be able to see not too far away, the small group of living, breathing people, being pushed in by another threat of death. Meanwhile, near the group, the dead were much more direct. A large horde were getting closer and closer, zombies and some skeletons alike trying to close them off, much like the salaryman before. Would they befall the same fate? This group was much larger, however, some twenty to thirty of the once living, brought back from damnation by the necrotic hand of Loki. Their walk was eerie beyond belief, stumbling on broken ligaments and ruptured muscle fibers, outmoded flesh dripping to the concrete of the street with disgusting detail. Flies were drawn in to the stench, much like the zombies to the humans. It was filth incarnate – sitting on the outskirts of the new Necropolis. But the survivors, of course, would fight back. They had to, in order to avoid ending up like them; a mere puppet body for Loki to writhe his hand inside and control, with devilish glee.
Not too far from the impending horde and Jeep commotion, however, a slow fog began to roll in, ensnaring the scenario with mystery. The humans stood out like a sore thumb before, but with the fog, they were even more obvious to the starving dead. This was no natural fog, it couldn't be – it was the mark of something to come. But what?

"It must be a quirk, that's the only scientific and medical explanation that I can give. I have seen strange quirks so why the hell not." Swearing wasn't one of her things, so Melody must be at least a little surprised to hear the nurse say so. But it annoyed her because of the exact same reason that Melody had said and because she was afraid, she knew one of the empty graves so what the hell would that mean for her? well it were a lot of zombies so chances were small they would find her right? As they had to stop and step out of their car, she tried to make a way for the building, no idea how to start this. "Sorry, a bit overwhelmed by the idea, but be ready." She did not need to ask Melody that for a second time as the girl already held her sword. She followed that idea with bringing the pieces of her spear together now that she got time and kept the pointy end (albeit made blunt) to the ground. Something was stirring, she heard people yell and she did not know where to look. There were not too many zombies yet, or that's what she thought but they must be around here as well, they stopped her driving after all. She heard a voice that she thought she recognized but at this moment, the vibe of it was bad and she turned to look and again wonder if she should scream a reply back but the person was getting closer.
It definitely distracted her when some zombie fell down from above them and she looked up only to see a young woman follow. Great, now they were attacking from above too? Though it seemed that the woman was alive, so that was a good thing. Oh someone from the PSC, "Yes, well I think we first need to clear up this issue before any further investigation is-" But Yuka already asked if that was G and of course, that was the voice and as the man had come closer she wondered or maybe slightly panicked if she needed to say anything about it. "We can use all the help we can, don't we?" She looked at the woman of the PSC before back at G, well the hoodie would work... probably... smart move, where was Hanako? Or Kai or Miku and Haruuhi? But she couldn't ask him about that for obvious reasons. She turned to Melody to see her apprentice's reaction.
Then... well it was hard to describe what happened, a voice in the distance but she did not recognize it as Melody did. And a car that well made a circle to get the zombies that were coming towards them away. It had more like the opposite effect. With more sluggish footsteps coming toward them and she looked at Yuka, "I think we should get prepared." There was nothing more to say when a group of about twenty or thirty came towards them, "Focus on us, Aquatica." Though the message was urgent, her voice did not change in kindness, after all, Melody was close by her and she did not need to scream. The people in the car were up to now safe and probably had an idea of what they were doing, it might be a hero, Nimue had not seen yet. But they had to work and possibly protect Yuka (albeit she seemed to have a neat quirk) But there were enough around them. "Any idea how we stop them? Is this movie cliche? Chop off their heads?" But her spear might be too blunt for that, so that would mean just straight up force, joy!
She would immediately spar, use the tip of the spear to try and harm the creatures as well as the back of it to slam them away. Her eyes were blazing blue now, she was focused, she would use Lindiwe when necessary but she needed to make sure they had space to get the heads rolling... ehm. Literally.

Upon arriving to the scene, G was glad to see Nimue or in this case Witch Doctor. And even same for Melody or Aquatica as she would re-introduce herself. He was glad there was another water quirker on the scene. The two could fuel eachother if need be. Having water was key. He was sure Melody had some water stored. And G knew Goliath can create some water. But together the two can have a good and steady form and help eachother if need be But soon, some unknown chick arrived. G frowned when he heard she was from the National Public Safety Division. And he raised an eyebrow when she called him out "Who's asking?" he told her as he lacked a name. Soon another girl arrived, a girl that looked like she belonged in a black and white movie or one of those artsy fartsy black and white photos. She was totally grayscale. It was a wicked looking quirk, thats for sure. And then a distaster happened, a jeep that made quite a showy and flashy entrace as it roadkilled some zombies. G meanwhile facepalmed, he knew noise attracts zombies. Its like zombie 101 rule. They were just gonna bring more disaster here. Granted, who knows who was in the car. Clearly not professionals. Hell, even Melody saw this when she criticized them. Seeing some zombies, Melody had the fast reactions and went into action G watched as Melody grabbed the hilt of her blade and unsheathed it. He smiled a bit when he saw she had a water blade. Yep, she had good points with him. The smile soon faded as he watched what she did next with the watery blade. She stabbed the first zombie several times in the chest sending it back and as the one to her left approached her she quickly sliced of it's right arm, then it's left and then cleanly chopped it's head off. And to top it off, as a cherry on the top, she then ended it in a ballerina's pose as the water returned to the cartridge.
G went immediatelly teacher mode when he heard NIMUE ask should they chop their heads off. Granted he can forgive Nim for the question. But he was the zombie veteran here. "Cut off heads?? No! We destroy the heads! Its simple!" G said as he grabbed a nearby zombie on the wrist and pulled it over close and threw it on the ground and STOMPED on its head. The next zombie, he grabbed, he used the switchblade he obtained to stab the zombie in the side of the head and dropped it deader then dead. He spoke to Nimue "We gotta destroy their brain. Otherwise they will continue to roam headless" he said as he approached the severed head of Melodys zombie and then again stomped on it to destroy the brain. He then turned to Melody and pointed at Melody "And you!!" he corrected her "I get that you wanna be a fancy pants hero. But now is not the time to be a ballerina! Its poor form! You use extra energy during battle to be graceful. In big fights like this, its all about energy and rawness. You'll get tired really fast if you do those kinds of attacks. Instead of several useless chest stabs, focus on stabing the brain or the face from the get go!"He might've sounded harsh, but he had no malicious intentions. Its just this situation with a big horde made him sound douchey Seeing the numbers werent on his side, he summoned Goliath "Go all killer samurai on these zombies" he casually told Goliath The Spiri Animal looked at the zombies and then at G and then back at zombies. He then created two water swords and held them with its pair of smaller claws G then gave the final command he needed "Rip and tear. Rip and tear!" he said the famous quote as he couldnt resist throwing a reference of gaming and all things nerd. It just seemed appropriate. Goliath gave a powerful roar before charging in the horde, slicing and stabbing the zombies with its big claws as well as with the two water swords

Yuka calmly watched as more and more people showed up to the scene. This was good! Especially if he had really risen from the dead and was under the control of this 'Loki' fella. She took note of the people joining their little group trying to identify them as they came. She already had G, Witch Doctor, and what she assumed was Witch Doctor's intern as it was that time of year for the students at U.A. She pulled out her tablet to make sure she could gather some notes for a report later making sure to mark down everyone available. With a voice calling out from one of the rooftops she looked up to see the outline of a...wait what? The girl was completely in black and white like one of those old films from over a hundred years ago. Odd, but she had something much more important at hand that made Yuka stop writing completely. "A civilian? First priority" Yuka thought to herself as she took note of the screeching jeep that held two others. Upon closer inspection, she recognized one of them as another Pro Hero 'Ultraviolet' and what was most likely her student intern as well.[break][break]
"The PSC wants to know, G." she remarked in a slightly mocking tone as she finished her initial report closing her tablet and putting it back in her pocket "Although I personally don't mind~ This is a bit of a crisis and I'm sure the extra muscle couldn't hurt but..." she was almost ambushed by a zombie as she was making conversation and with a solid strike to the head, she sent it flying into a nearby wall "I've gotta do my job! Civilians are the first priority and uh...most of you don't count." she took a deep breath through her nose and then began to slowly exhale as wisps of lilac-colored air began to flow from her mouth. With a few hand gestures, they floated over in the direction of the building and formed a makeshift staircase. "I leave this to you guys. Good luck I'll support you from up here!" she winked as she climbed her own staircase until she reached Risaka and the frightened child.[break][break]
"Are you okay? Doesn't look like you came with the rest of the group, but the fact that you're out here I'd reckon you're a U.A Student like the rest! I'll call in an escort and support from up here. Do me a favor little miss and if you see anymore living survivors I'll bring them up here, okay?" she flashed Risaka a big reassuring smile and gestured for her to walk down the stairs she had made to reach the rest of them. "It's gonna be okay." she bent down to be eye level with the boy "You're really brave for not giving up you know that? I'm gonna call in some people to help you but until then you can stay with me. I won't let anything bad happen to you I promise." placing one hand on his shoulder and reached into her pocket with her free hand and pressed a button on a small device she had. The device began to beep as a red light glowed in Yuka's pocket signaling her location to the others in her organization. In spite of her confidence, she still kept an eye to the sky knowing that it was only a matter of time until he showed up...

RISAKA REINACHTSecond Year U.A / Miss Gray
''Everyday I ask myself if I even should bother'' words • tagged @ • notes | Observing from above it gave the tall third year student to see the situation and the incoming hordes from the end far end of the road. She didn't attempt to pay much attention to those gathered up at down there, she then however looked back at the boy, who still were crying in fright. She was no child lover nor good with the young ones, but she nodded to the boy, despite not being the most reassuring personality, she still gave a promise through those yellow eyes of hers.
''Just sit tight kiddo, I will bring others up here to give you company soon enough, that is if there are more people in need, but right now I need to focus on easing the issue at hand.''
She prepared herself to launch off from the rooftop until hearing the sound of wheels screeching against the black asphalt. She looked at the other direction of the road, the jeep cam eat full speed and did not hesitate ramming down zombies straight out from an action scene. Risaka groaned at the sight of an incredibly reckless manevour, what if someone was fighting among that crowd? The gray lass rolled her eyes and stretches her shoulder while looking back to the many waves of zombies approaching the group and the busted up jeep. That is until she got interrupted by this uptight looking woman who walked in the air, or rather, walking up these strange looking steps.
Risaka kept her unimpressed eyes at the lady who quickly caught up on the fact that Risaka is an UA student. She turns away and wishes for no mere chit chat, although the support is greatly appreciated, but Risaka was never the kind to express that sort of attitude, she's just glad the lady is actually helping to what matters.
''Doesn't matter who I am, what matters is that these difficult circumstances is gonna need every single one of us to do out best. I'll bring back up those I see in need so don't you worry about that, but yeah, good thing you don't mind me using your power for a tiny bit.''
She took the offer very swiftly by hopping onto the staircase and ran down halfway before stopping completely. She looked towards the hordes and prepared a leap. Her muscles tenses up and her glare sharpens, and just like that she springs from the air construct like a bullet, soaring through the air and adding momentum to her body. She spun herself forward with her right leg stretched out, aiming to hit the zombie crowds where it is the tightest.
''Flavor Heel- Smash!''
She announced her move right before hitting down to the road crowded by the undead. Her heel slams down first, penetrating through an unfortunate mindless freak until the tip of the heel lands with a mighty impact. The power built up from her mid-air spin created a minor shockwave and a crater, tearing the corpses up around here from the pressure and giving the rest around them an unstable ground to stand on.
The impact left the space all dusty of crushed asphalt and red mists of blood from the destroyed freaks. She took a second to let things settle in, rising up and watching the zombies surrounding her. Her eyes darted to one zombie to the other, figuring out who'll go in first and go from there.
''If you guys don't wanna stay underground then you deserve to be in pieces across the ground..!''
Clenching her fists up she stopped an arm trying to reach for her neck, twisting it and shattering the bone of the forearm with her iron grip. Risaka tosses the corpse over her body and crash it down against another with enough force to make both disintegrate into a pile of putrid flesh, but she didn't stop there, far from it. She heard another zombie trying to leap at her from behind, with such an obvious move she slams her hand backwards, crushing it through the jaw and effectively half tears the head off.
''Loud and obnoxious... zombies are no better than the practice dummies back at the UA gym!''
She barked out at the undead before dashing to the front of two zombies, grabbing each of their throats and powerlifts them high enough to make them unable to resist her grip! From left to the right she crashed the half limp bodies past one corpse after another, using both of the throat gripped zombies as improvised blunt weapons. She fought her way down the road, not knowing how the rest are doing , but she definitely focused destroying the bodies to the point they simply could not move, and while doing so Risaka gritted her mouth with an angry expression, heroes once was fiction, but there is no way in hell she'd allow zombies to become the next.

You sure you can keep up with a woman like me~?
❝ “Ahahaha, yeah I might have to work hard to make it up to him, huh~?” The swerving spin of the jeep seeming to transform their surroundings into a sea of read as the weight and pace of the vehicle transformed it into a rather angry and somewhat agile wrecking ball, Miss Murasaki pushed against the wheel to hold herself in place and was glad for the inherent endurance that her quirk offered to her which meant the G-Forces she was placed under barely phases her, and as a result found herself laughing and joking to her junior as she broke the frail bodies of their attackers in her wake. However, she wasn’t done just yet, and she wasn’t as alone as she thought she was either. Undead fucks ain’t got shit on this sisterhood of steel! The sharp eyes of the siren noting the way that a plucky young heroine lurched forwards and used some dainty, well placed strikes to dispatch a couple of would be attackers before peeling off to join some others, while the ebony empress didn’t entirely catch what the girl seemed to shout she was appreciative of the effort she went to, and impressed by her fencing skills as well. However, she had confidence she could have endured the assault even without the assist. Protected in a machine that was built to endure travel in the mountains, not only was a rugged model like this built like a brick shit house but it also had the kind of weight that even with her maximum might she would struggle to lift, making it a tricky prospect for even a mob of individuals of average power to tip, especially with how uncoordinated the feeble minds of an undead party would be. “Hopefully he’ll take pity though because it’s for the greater good?” Flicking the gear stick next to her as soon as their slide seemed to slow and then gunning the engine once she had done so, while what remained of their undead enemies seemed to march on the car to try and overwhelm it with sheer numbers it seemed they were underestimating a girl who spent her time tearing around country roads in a high powered sport car, and while the heaviness of her current transport meant that she couldn’t pull away in her delightful Tokyo drift as well as she would in her own audi that didn’t mean she was helpless. Twisting the steering wheel into the direction of that last bit of momentum as she hammered the engine with enough force that her tiles were squealing louder than a fat hog on Sunday, she slid the jeep with that momentum as the rear wheels spun and gained traction, than made herself an easy escape path as the vehicle moved forward with tremendous might. “Jeeeeez, I wonder if all guys come back from the dead so damn clingy, huh?” Lurching forward with the kind of power that would take no prisoners and sparing little time for the zombie squad to really mass around and mob the jeep for long, it seemed a shame to surrender such an effective anti-undead weapon without putting it to more use and as such Maya only hummed and licked her lips as she pushed the jeep onward with maximum prejudice, and flicked on the high intensity fog likes both in an attempt to catch the attention of the innocents and provide herself with a clearer view of said parties as she aimed for the mob that surrounded them, but it seemed she wasn’t the only one. “Hahahah, great minds huh?” It seeming that the girl with the green gaze also went for that switch as well, even in the heat of the moment like this the dark dish couldn’t help but smirk, and feel a hint of reassurance that she was riding with someone so smart and capable as she was. “Bout time someone taught these undead fools some manners, no?” Those bright beams blazing a fierce path into the bunch and illuminating the group enough so that the sharp eyes of Miss Murasaki could see the souls at the centre who were trying to fend of the grotesque gang of attackers, gritted her teeth as she went on a second run, but was sure that she couldn’t safely wipe out the bunch without putting the safety of those who seemed unaffected at risk and as such had only one choice; carving a hole for the innocents to escape. Let’s hope this thing isn’t steeped in sentimental value, cause I don’t think ma boy is getting it back now? Perhaps a guilty note striking out in the heart of the heroine as she crashed with every ounce of pace and pressure the jeep could produce as she lurched over to her left where that clear gaze could see not only were their enemies thinner but also more distant from the people in the middle, the Asian amazon clenched her jaw tightly as she ploughed through each and every one she could in order to open up a hole for the group to escape from, but even as she did this she knew that she and her teenage teammate would be unwise to think they could keep using the jeep for much longer than this. It was drawing far too much attention to itself. “You fought well old girl, but it’s our fight now…” The bodies that the black beauty had burst through certainly not treating the jeep all that kindly and the cracks in the windscreen telling her it was time to take the battle on personally, as their champion of a chariot drifted downward in terms of speed she took a moment to pat the dashboard delicately, before looking above her and flicking the handle in order to open the sun roof. “Time to kick it up a notch, girlfriend!” That top hatch popping open and the martial minx sweeping her sword up a moment later, she led with that razor sharp tip and the knowledge that their shambling and ambling adversaries would have a harder time blocking an escape from above rather than the side as she thrust herself upward, prepared for whatever the world outside would throw at her and also mindful of the safety of her student as she proceeded onward with blade in hand, vaulting from the vehicle onto the ground thanks to her impressive agility and then getting ready to catch her slightly less acrobatic junior once she had landed…

"Well, he seems like a cool guy... Maybe he'll be fine with 'Zombie Apocalypse' as a reason for why he's gotta get a new truck.", snickered the blonde, actually not quite sure how the mann would react. If not for the disaster all over the news, he'd probably assumed it was bullshit. Out of nowhere though, Kanna's keen eyes quickly spotted a graceful looking chick turning a bunch of zombies into shish kebab. Fuck, took em long enough to finally reach people. But as an eerie fog rolled in, there was only one thing Kanna could do: Fog lights. Quickly reaching for the dashboard, she swiped the handle, as she called out to Maya, "Shit, hit the lights!!"
Even under high pressure scenario, Kanna couldn't help but smile as she felt her mentor's hand on the light switch: No matter how thick the fog, the lights atop a Jeep were more than enough to light up the stage, at least for everybody involved. But this strategy wouldn't last forever. Seeing a zombie creeping up on the Jeep, Kanna rose her rifle and fired a single bullet through its skull. First off, they had to figure out how the Zombies were getting here, and what weaknesses they had outside of dismemberment. Unlike some idiots might be liable to assume, this wasn't zombie fiction. This was zombie real life. There's no telling which pieces of zombie fiction would even hold true here, outside from the whole shambling corpses mess, completely defying the laws of physics as one might expect from the work of a quirker. "Well there's one easy way of stopping that. Chop off their heads and dismember them. Or just turn em to slush with the truck, either way works~", she spoke, shooting down yet another one as they tried to group up around the jeep, in those split seconds where the skidding drift ground to a halt, "Keep going...!! Gonna take a helluva lot more than eight zombies to stop a two ton truck, nevermind flipping it!" Sound, sight, even smell... Thankfully, it didn't appear as though they had been gifted any additional strength than their bodies could have mustered, which brought the two women some solace. They couldn't do anything about smell or sight, but they could do something about the noise. However, that would come after they allowed the people in the middle of the horde to fight their way out.
"Y'know what they say, never too late for a lesson. Even if ya dead.", as Maya cut through the horde, Kanna provided what support she could by shooting the zombies closest to themselves, while the Jeep did the hard work of distracting a decent amount of them, while also leaving an open path behind it for them to leap into, "Here we goooooo~...!!"
There was something oddly satisfying about the sound of crunching bones as the powerful beast of a vehicle plowed through the horde like a lawnmower, cutting a big hole through the circle of zombies, in the spot closer to the intersection a few meters behind them. Having cleared a path roughly ten meters wide in their effort, Maya and Kanna alike both knew all of the zombies would soon be on them, and close the path they took such risks to open.
"You go on ahead, there's something I gotta do first.", The Jeep had lost some of it's momentum by now, but not all of it, not by any stretch. Still going at a healthy 20 km/h. Kanna had to move fast lest she end up too far away from the rest of the group, or her mentor.
Using her quirk, she touched the dashboard and hacked the electronics in the Jeep, disabling any functions to stop the car as she set the gear to neutral, allowing it to keep going a good twenty, thirty meters further away from the living. At the same time, she'd force the pedal as low as it could go before she too escaped through the sunroof to join her mentor. If sound was the Zombie's primary sense, then this would drive them any further waves away from the crew, leaving only the ones in the immediate vicinity to contend with. Jumping out of a moving car was dangerous, but getting eaten alive by zombies was worse, not to mention, by jumping off to the back of the truck, she could mitigate some of the excess momentum.
"Damn shame, those fog lights woulda come in handy.", spoke the blonde, almost reluctant to slip out through the sunroof, before leaping out towards the back of the moving car after Maya, where the horde was thinnest. And understandably so, considering, well... They'd pretty much turned them into mince meat. At the speed the zombies were moving, the blonde knew to find one spot behind it where she had no zombies within a couple of meters, just enough to safely complete her forward roll, absorbing much of the momentum from the fall. Bruised and battered, the blonde had been protected by her armor and was still very much in this fight. No broken limbs or sprained muscles meant she could quickly spring to her feet and catch up to her mentor, realizing the danger she faced in straying too far. Knowing better than to waste her ammo, and thus fired only when the zombies reached closer than two three meters, making a mental note of their position before leaping off the roof of the Jeep. Of course, all of this would be a moot point when Maya ultimately caught her in midair, making Kanna's eyes shoot wide as she mumbled: "W-whaaa...?", still, she wasn't about to turn into dead weight anytime soon. Even as Maya held her, Kanna made sure to shoot down the nearest Zombies, keeping the path clear for them both when her mentor finally put her down.
