A bright light greeted Kiersa's eyes as they flickered open. She winced and went to tilt her head away from the light, wondering why she felt something soft and yet firm on her head. No... not on her head, the blonde came to realise, but under it. She was lying down on something. Her hands patted out, examining the structure she was lying on even as her eyes adjusted to the light blaring into her eyes.
Kiersa discovered that she was on a bed, although whilst that was the truth for the majority of herself, she could feel something holding her right leg tight and in the air... She looked down the length of her body, and saw her leg suspended in the air for the time being, with a splint on it. She realised where she was now... she was in the UA school infirmary. Chimera-senpai must have brought her here after the match...
And with the sight of the injury, the pain flashed back along with the memory of what had happened. "Aagh..." she groaned, biting her lower lip as she tried to hold back her cry. Kiersa didn't want to disturb anyone else who might be in here. This was a medical facility after all, and one of the important rules was to maintain a quiet atmosphere for patients... Or was she confusing that with the rules for the library?

The idea of the infirmary was a sort of sacred space, calming with colours and clean. Kuro wasn't allowed to come in the space with the beds so it was hygienic and clean. It was sometimes sad, it might be nice to have a cat here to have students calm down. It wasn't all fun and games to be hurt and have to be here. She wondered sometimes if it wouldn't be better if the combat classes were milder and not breaking ankles and so on. But she wasn't the force behind that and they would have to learn and deal with it. That would be something for their future as well, heroic work was painful and it would not stop. It would maybe even become worse if you look at it in the future but right now, she would just work. She would focus on it, it would be something to consider. Kiersa was at this point her only patient and she was working on fixing tape and other things she might need. Nimue was perfectly capable of healing her broken ankle but at this point Kiersa was knocked out and Nimue would like to wait to make sure there were no complications and so on. Surely most of the things would not be a complication for the healer but it was just a matter of being polite and just being hundred percent sure on what she had to do.
So she turned around when she heard the gasp or yelp from Kiersa. That made her put her pencil and items back on the little desk and just look around, making sure to hurry by her side for the girl to calm down, in case she felt scared or anything. Being at the infirmary, wasn't a nice experience. "Hey, hey, sash, it's okay." She said softly, the splint was there to prevent her from moving her leg and hurting herself. As well as the system to lift up her leg, to avoid blood clots and to hurt her too much. She could have done it easily to avoid the pain for Kiersa but at this point, she wanted to know for sure if there was an explanation and complications and so on. As well as that some people hated healing, she thought the chances were small with the healing student of 1-B and with students from U.A. in general but it was a polite matter to ask. Nimue checked Kiersa's temperature with the back of her hand, but there shouldn't be fevers from infections as her quirk already cleaned up that part when they brought the girl in.
"Okay, it's okay. I know it must hurt but I couldn't fix it before you woke up but how do you feel?" The first steps were slow, the splint would go off, she wouldn't have to worry about it, wouldn't have to limp but Nimue was just too careful maybe at some points, surely if it was life-threatening or life-damaging, she would have healed Kiersa's ankle already. Why were the combat teachers always fan of just well.. the fights, it was just tiring and Nimue was done with complaining about it. She would get better, so it wouldn't be an issue. She would have to work with it.

At the sound of Miss Nakahara's tone of voice basically requesting her to calm down, the young blonde tried to remember those breathing techniques that Miss Haymaker had gone over with them during the meditation classes in order to try and get herself to calm down... But her mind was pulling a blank, and so she had to fall back to a different, albeit embarrassing technique.
"F-Frére jacques, frére ja-jacques... d-dormez vous, dormez v-vous..." Kiersa's voice began to recite the old rhyme her mother taught to her softly to herself, letting its familiar comforting patterns steady her breathing and calm her down.
After she'd finished going through the whole song, just to err on the side of caution as she didn't want to accidentally hyperventilate straight after slowing her breathing down, the young blonde looked over to the green-haired older woman and tried to offer her a smile. "It... it d-definitely... hurts S-Sensei..." she managed to get out, wincing a little as the pain twinged up again. "I w-would s-say... about a s-seven out o-of ten..." Kiersa mused. "I-If you w-wanted a s-scale Sensei..."
As she lay there considering how she wound up there and what had led up to it, a thought shot through her head. "Is... Is Burabura a-alright? A-And Chimera-senpai? A-Are they alright?" Kiersa asked the schools resident nurse and medical teacher, sounding more concerned about their well-being than her own at the moment.
She then bowed her head towards Nimue as best she could from her position on the bed. "I'm s-sorry Sensei... if m-my Quirk c-could heal b-broken bones... I c-could h-have saved y-you the t-trouble and n-not interrupted you a-and your work... I'm sorry." the young blonde apologised, tears starting to form in her eyes at the thought of all the trouble she's putting her through.

Kiersa did wake up and Nimue kept a calm look at her, trying to make sure she was okay and calm but that did not work and she did seem to stress until she sang a song in French. At least Nimue recognized words in French and she nodded and hummed along on the rhythm the girl made and took a stool to sit down to make sure that Kiersa did see it was no trouble that she was singing and that it was okay to do so. Nimue would patiently wait and watch her with her amber eyes and just make sure it was all fine. "That's okay, that's understandable, I am going to heal you in a bit okay." But that would not mean the pain was over in a bit. The casket would make sure her broken ankle would be in the right position and would get not too much pressure but her body still kept realizing over and over what had happened and probably screaming at her brain to say it hurt. That's why Nimue held Kiersa's hand and her eyes turned to green. It would maybe go a tiny bit faster if she held her leg but through any skin contact it would work and Nkosi went to work to help fix the fracture first. She would have to do this for a few minutes before it would start to get better and before it would be better completely. "A scale always makes it better, now tell me throughout this moment if it goes down okay? It will go slowly but I do hope you feel less pressure for example in a few minutes." She remained standing now, to make sure she could keep an eye out on the girl herself as well as the casket that she would remove when Nkosi would tell her so.
She turned her attention from Kiersa's leg to the girl her face again and nodded. Now... she wasn't entirely sure on her fellow first-year but she was sure the other teachers worked on it. "Everyone is looked after, they will be all fine." She would give her hand a squeeze, "Don't worry about it, you are safe here and everyone else is, now don't cry deary. You don't have to apologize, I am here for you and here for injuries and also just any other thing if you feel like you need me. One day you will learn to heal broken bones and you will smile about this moment, alright? You will get there, this is my work so you are not stealing my time or interrupting my work." She gave another little squeeze, "Alright?" She kept on talking very softly and calming, assuring and smiling that was the most important part of her work at this point. This was how Kiersa would not mind being here and would not think of herself as being in the way, or so Nimue hoped. After all, she couldn't read what Kiersa thought but she sure hoped so.
