It was close to 6pm and there was a quiet Lull that fell through the Dormitories, most had either went out to do something in groups or had club practise, which is precisely why Danica was in the common Kitchen, she didn’t want to be bothered by other people while making dinner, She slowly cup up a Few Carrots, onion and Celery using the chef knife on a Cutting board before picking the cutting board up and scooping the Chopped veggies into the pot with tomato soup in it. Before putting it on a low heat and cleaning up a bit, washing down the cutting board and knife and the counter top underneath and then picking up a few of the Vegetable scraps that got away from her and fell on the floor.
She would then head over to the couches not to far away, and set a timer on her phone. She then Reached into her backpack and pulled out a Textbook and her notes. As she sat that and reread them, there was a test in a few days and she needed the time to commit it memory, She had an unrealistic expectation for herself, knowing that in the heat of the moment she wouldn’t have time to think about what she had learn she needed to be able to recall the facts at a instant, and anything less was unacceptable. She hit a bit of a wall when it came to this subject, thought she desperately wanted to know more about it. It felt so dry and so complicated for no reason, but it was something she was recommended to have a understanding in, especially because her Quirk was a bit of a double edge sword In a way, she had to learn how to help muscles and tendons to withstand more, but first she need a basic understanding of the subject.
After a few minutes she would slam the large textbook shut and grown in frustration. Before slamming herself backwards into the Cushion of the couch. It seemed so pointless, nothing was soaking in she just felt like she was wasting her time and everyone else’s.
