Nobody likes a prison break except for the convicts who manage to break loose. Still, Bashira had a certain fondness for this scenario in one respect: a big, public crime like this, which needed no connections to hear of and in which most of the bad guys wore a particular uniform -in this case, prisoner's orange- made the perfect avenue for her to help out with her reckless brand of vigilantism. Showing up in costume might make it clear she was a vigilante, but it would, at the very least, show that she probably wasn't a convict... that was important here, given that the same distress call she illegally answered would probably be responded to by any number of lawmen and professional heroes.
Fixed up in her woolen white dress and gloves, Bashira, as the vigilante, Tenpin, leaped across the city using her powerful arms in place of her legs. This unique method of movement pressed her fingers to the ground and then pushed off, moving her ever-so-slightly quicker than an ordinary sprint might. Given that her huge arms just acted as drags to slow her movement otherwise, it was the best way she knew to make lemons out of lemonade, in regard to her somewhat cumbersome quirk.
She knew one thing for sure: if she was a bad guy making an escape, she'd do it into the alleys. Heck, she did that as a vigilante frequently enough. The ogre-like girl scanned each alley using the flashlights in her eyes, projecting harmless yellow beams into each until she spotted something suspicious... a set of three jumpsuit wearing criminals, each making a run for a parking lot on the other side of the alley. Undoubtedly, they were looking for a car to jack, which could hasten their getaway and protect them from the prying eyes of some of the heroes and vigilantes looking to bring them in.
"Damn... Wish I could fly right about now..." Bashira thought to herself, clicking her teeth and showing her fangs in an irritated, impatient scowl. She thought she could move faster than those thugs... unless they had some powers they were keeping under wraps. She could throw a bowling ball, but ideally she'd do it from the other side so she could aim down the alley... if she rolled it straight through and it hit a car, or worse, a civilian, she'd be in a lot of trouble. Swinging her arms, she gave away her position noisily as she shot into the alley and attempted to close distance.
The criminals each looked over their shoulders to investigate the source of the disturbance; their eyes bulged when they found themselves being chased by an ogre with glowing yellow eyes. "Follow the plan, boys! A-B-C!" The middle one yelled in a strangely hoarse voice, then waved both arms. A bright flash of light came from his forehead, instantly blinding Bashira.
"Aaaaw, dammit, friggin' shiny head!" Bashira shielded her eyes with one arm and grabbed a trash-can in the opposite hand, smashing it up into an over-sized, metallic, somewhat stinky bowling ball with grinding motions of her giant fingers. As she blinked her eyes back to clarity, she noticed with alarm what that "A-B"C" plan they'd referred to meant to split up; one was headed for the left side of the parking lot, one to the right, and the ring-leader staying right in the middle, probably preparing to blind her again. She'd been handed the bowler's worst enemy... the 7-10 split! There was no way to hit over every pin with her bowling ball attack method!
The ogress looked between the left and right prisoners in growing agitation... the one on the left clearly had some kind of blade, quirk or otherwise, which made him seem dangerous to civilians, but the one on the right had sparks emitting from one of his fingers, giving him away as the "hot-wire guy" of the group. The middle guy, on the other hand, was the ringleader for all three and the only one cocky enough to stay and fight her. She couldn't handle all three... but she couldn't afford to let any of them go either!
To make matters worse, as soon as she reared back to throw her bowling ball, the guy flashed his forehead and blinded her again! "Dammit dammit dammit! Why can't you friggin' guys ever just stand in a nice triangle?!" She couldn't even afford to throw her ball at this rate... a bowler without eye-sight was just asking for a gutterball, and here, a gutterball could cause some serious property damage. Grunting, the vigilante made her way closer to the forehead-flashing bugger and brandished her ball, threatening to lob it at him over-handed if she had to.
Still, if she just caught one of the three... 33% wasn't a passing grade anywhere! In this case, it could mean one of those guys escaping in a car with the others. For all she knew, they were meeting up with another gang of baddies once they jacked the car, too... Baddies who might be along to investigate what the disruption in the plan was. Earlier, she'd hoped that heroes would just stay out of her way, but now she had to admit... she could really use some help!

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤She wasn't used to running around this much. The petite hero had just finished setting up additional blockades near the main road and was now circling around the projected conflict area to continue putting up some more. The objective of her assignment was simple: tighten the noose around the prisoners making a run for it and cut off as many routes for escape as possible. Her quirk happened to be perfect for constructing temporary barricades that the police force can man and supplement with their own formations. She wouldn't have imagined that her first big major incident as a hero was something like this. But she was glad to be useful. But there was little time to rest though between moving from one chokepoint to the next and so she had to snack and recharge while on the run. Her stamina was holding up but she wasn't exactly a fast runner so she couldn't help but feel slow compared to the other first response heroes she managed to catch a glimpse of this evening. So far she had managed to avoid any direct contact with escaped convicts but as she moved closer and closer to where the fighting was going on, it was only a matter of time. Her anti-personnel training was going to be put to the test tonight for sure. Although they couldn't really spare any for her in the way of transport hence her running around on foot, she was grateful at least that the people at the agency mapped out a handy route for her that also pinpointed the movements of the police. That way she could head towards the designated points without getting lost while also being able to adjust and accommodate any changes in the situation that the police force is responding too. This was important because tonight was chaotic enough as it is. Still it's not like the response was perfect. They were casting a big net but it wouldn't be weird to think that a few of these dangerous personas could still slip through them. Running into such was just the kind of lucky event she was expecting considering everything else had been going well so far. There was a commotion at one of the parking lots she happened to pass close by to. There was a flash of light followed by shouts she couldn't make out. But as soon as she saw that the source was a group of escapees in their easily identifiable prison outfits, Azusa felt her nerves tighten up just a bit. This was the moment she had been dreading. On the bright side it seemed like there was already another hero on the scene. But the criminals had elected to split up. The least she could do was head off the one heading in her direction. They had a blade of some sort so she had to be careful. Anyway it didn't seem like they caught sight of her just yet so she cut right into the fleeing prisoner's path to catch him by surprise. Before he could react, she would aim both of her hands forward creating a torrent of chocolate that would attempt to engulf and restrain the villain. Eventually the mass of chocolate would end up pinning him down on the concrete with a combination of weight and stickiness. "Don't struggle! I'm trying to make this as painless as possible."An innocent threat that could possibly be interpreted more sinisterly. It's not like she really wanted to hurt people but it would be fair to let them know that she could if they forced her hand. It wouldn't come to that right?

"God fucking dammit, heres another one for the pile"
Freya thought as she slammed another prisoner in the face at full force with a flaming fist of rage as she ordered the surrounding police to cuff them up. She looked at the the chaos of the entire situation as she kept her radio open to all students who were helping with the rounding up of all the escapees.
A prison break was perhaps the worst thing to expect in this part of the year as the recent incidents involving Red Horn put a lot of strain in the resources. The live cast was perhaps the thing that set her off as she was the first one to book out of the school and do her job. But she was of course going to be short on help but the entire student body seemed to agree in unison that they should do something and thus here she is now, fighting about a dozen goons with back up from her branch alongside a few beat cops who needed the help.
She of course wore her usual hero outfit as it displayed her emblem in full view as she fought against the waves of criminals who were going all out. A right hook there, a round house there, a choke slam and human shield at one point. It was perhaps a blitzkrieg of trouble as made sure one area was secured as she jetted off to another part of the town.
Of course, her flaming trail in the sky as she flew made her a target for many criminals who had ranged quirks and mutations as they wasted no time trying to catch her. But their efforts were in vain as she blasted them in the ace with a fist full of flames. But it was a nightm are to keep collateral damage to a minimum as she needed to keep watch of civilians, villains and her own students all at once. There were multiple distress signals going off at once as she fought against the wave but she kept her face sharp as she just fought and fought like a maniac.
As another group of criminals went down, she took a knee to catch her breath for a few seconds before another one came at her. Just a quirker who seemed to have swords for arms as he ran at her with the attention to take her life. Mumbling something about revenge for what she did to him but that doesn't make things easier since she has alot of criminals who hate her guts. She blocked the hit and uppercut him as she called for any units to pick that one up. But she didn't get out unscathed as it did leave a light cut on her left arm where she blocked. She wrapped up the wound with some bandages she had on hand as she went back to work.
On the way to another location, she heard some commotion from a nearby parking lot and of course she acted on impulse as she changed her flight path. Quickly zeroing in on the area, she can see about a dozen criminals scuttling about and someone fighting off three goons who seemed to be standing in a triangle formation. Not much time to ask any questions about who the person was but it looked like they needed help as she saw a criminal hiding behind a car with a bat as she promptly crashed in and pinned him to the ground. “GET THE FUCK OFF M-”, was all the guy can say before he saw who landed on him. The sheer look of rage got him to pass out as she walked towards the trio.
In the distance Freya can see a mound of chocolate and another quirker capturing a criminal but she is going to ask later as she walked towards the trio and declared her message to all criminals in the area. She pressed a button on her suit that sent coordinates to all available units to come to her area as she made her declaration.
“Attention all criminals! As you can see, you have all escaped and are causing trouble in my city as someone has let you off your leash. But the person who let you out isn't here nor are they leading you so you’re pretty much all on your own. I’m going to ask that all of you stay where you are and surrender yourselves to the authorities now. If you try to run, consider yourselves prey to the Hound of Hell. So anyone who feels brave enough to run, I welcome it...if you think you can outrun me”, Freya glared at the three goons in particular as she swaggered her way towards them.
"You seem to be in a bit of trouble here, want some help?"

Thankfully, Bashira's unspoken desire for help was answered quickly enough, first with the arrival of the pro-hero/chocolatier, Valentine. The hero had the advantage of approaching the guy from an off angle, which allowed her to subdue him with a huge, gooey wad of chocolate. Overall, not a bad way to get taken out, Bashira reflected. Way better than having one's legs broken by a bowling ball, anyways. "What the heck?! There's a quirk that lets you just make friggin' chocolate?! What kind of lottery do you have to win to get a quirk like that?!" Bashira cried out loud, imagining to herself how sweet it would be if she could snap her fingers and make chocolate. Sweets were one of her favorite things-- outside of bowling-- and usually, they were a bit cost prohibitive for her non-existent budget. Some quirkers had all the luck!
Not that she wasn't lucky. Valentine had gotten her out of quite a jam already... and didn't seem to be bearing down on her for being a vigilante either. Maybe this girl didn't know Bashira was a vigilante? It could even be the girl was a vigilante herself. Bashira was the type of crime-fighter who held dismally few connections throughout Japan, in terms of both heroes and fellow vigilantes. That hurt her in a number of ways, most obviously in that she didn't have companions to back her up in situations like this on the average case, but also, in that she didn't know the faces of heroes and who she needed to look out for.
For now, the intervention had helped Bashira get her eye-sight back. "Thanks, kid!" she called out, assuming the other girl's age, before sticking her tongue up and squinting one eye to glare down the hypothetical bowling lane that was this parking lot. She could now choose to focus on blade guy or hot-wire guy. As annoying as it would be if the one retrieved a car, she thought it would be even worse if the knife-wielding one took a hostage. She began to step forward towards him, hoisting her ball in an under-handed stance.
Freya swooped in next, before she could throw the ball; the firebrand of a pro hero wasn't actually aiming at either of Bashira's targets, but instead, a hidden malefactor who was still waiting to join in the attack. That was good... Bashira probably would have been conked across the face by that baseball bat the moment she stepped past the car. The vigilante was seeing a sort of vision play out in front of her that told her all the things that could have gone wrong if she'd acted too hastily here... "Yeah! All the help you can give! Stop that guy with the sparking fingers!" Bashira humbled herself, seeing as she still needed someone to take care of the hot-wire guy before he made it to a car. Of course, she didn't have a way of seeing the additional crowd that Freya had already spotted. The problem was a lot bigger than just three guys, one of them covered in chocolate.
Finally, Bashira focused and finished her wind-up, rolling off an all too quick ball at the fleeing knife-wielder. It would be easy to underestimate the impact of an attack like that, but the additional impact of those arm muscles couple with the same natural propulsion that launched pins regularly did a number on the guys legs. He dropped his knife and screamed in pain as the ball caught him in one foot with a crunch. Bashira had no sympathy for a guy like that, but she did hope that this overt "vigilante action" wouldn't reflect badly on her next to the cute little girl that had just bound up her target in candy...
The one standing of the original three looked to both sides, panicking, then ran to the road, waving his arms. Speeding down the street just off the parking lot, a car loaded with four more bad guys shot by, then backed up quickly. "We ain't waitin' forever!" The driver called out, sticking his face from the window. He was dressed in a crude cloth face mask, perhaps intended to hide his identity, as well as a mis-sized green bomber jacket he'd obviously stolen from someone. "Ya snooze ya lose!" They were calling for the guy to try to make it to them, but they didn't realize that Valentine and Freya were still in the ideal position to pick him off before he reached.
"Aaaah, crap," Bashira grumbled, preparing another bowling ball. The attack was well-suited for stopping cars, but only when they were coming at her or away from her; from side view, she was limited in her effectiveness. All the car would have to do would be to lurch forward or backward to avoid it. She hadn't exactly spotted Freya's quirk yet, but she hoped that Valentine or Freya would be better suited to react than she was. "I'll get the electric fingers after all! You guys get the car!" She probably wasn't in any place to issue demands, but she did anyway, then leaped forward on her hands to reach out for the escaping contact and physically drop him to the ground using her giant fingers. Her own square jaw hit the concrete with a rattling thud, as she failed to catch herself. Bashira mentally chastised herself for making herself look like an idiot and a fresh rookie in front of her new acquaintances, one of whom she assumed was several years her junior...

❤ Azusa Mifune ❤ ❤ Cute is Justice ❤Following her relatively easy apprehending of one of the escapees was a sigh of relief. The worst thing she could do here was panic and let her nerves get to her. Her target was secure but their troubles weren't over yet. A very familiar hero had made known their arrival which made her feel even more confident that things would be alright. Now all she needed to do was not be a burden. She didn't recognize the other quirker but if they were going after the prisoners too then she wouldn't worry about them too much. Any help in this situation was welcome. One villain was making a getway and by the looks of it his friends managed to grab an escape car to aid with that. Stopping a human was one thing but a moving vehicle was a bit tricker. It's not like she could just put up a wall. These were desperate people who might just try crashing into it. And, well, that wouldn't be a pretty result at all. She was someone pretty familiar with car crashes and what it does to people inside them. She would just have to go with the other method and pray that the other heroes helped with what came after. "Sorry in advance for the mess! I promise I'll clean it up later!"Focusing, she aimed her hands at road, creating a wave of chocolate even bigger than the last one. The properties she applied to it were stickiness and quick-hardening. As soon as the car would attempt to drive through the chocolate flood, the sweet mass would stick to and clog the wheels to slow them down until the chocolate completely hardened and they got stuck. She would maitain the rest of the stucky chocolate around the car in case any of them decided to abandon the vehicle and try to run on foot. They would find themselves caught in the sticky trap as well. But that was the best that she could do there. If any of the escapees could fly or just avoid touching the ground, then they could keep themselves from getting caught. She would leave that scenario to her co-heroes who can hopefully handle it better than she can. Most people would probably think she handled that pretty well. But as far as Azusa was concerned, the road was a sloppy chocolate mess she would need to fix when all this was over.

Freya stood her ground as she intimidated all of the weaker prisoners to lay down their arms but a good chunk of them had the balls to act. In most cases that grounds for an arrest but it only means she can do the more fun part about her job as she gets to hit them where it hurts. Cracking her knuckles and getting her usual smile on her face, she turned her attention on the man who had sparks flying off his hands as she was about to oblige at the request of her new ally. She can't exactly ask who she is considering the situation and she needs all the help she can get if she wants to make sure these guys don't escape.
HOWEVER things took a turn for the worse as one of the targets from the trio quickly found a getaway vehicle and made their chance to try and get away from the area. Something that she doesn't want at all as the units cant afford a high speed car chase with how spread out all their units are.
In an act of quick thinking she didn't have much time to object to the new person's suggestion as she activated her quick and went after the getaway vehicle. Luckily a fellow here slowed the vehicle down with...chocolate? Whatever the case, it was in her favor as she needed to stop the car fast. However the perks of her quirk were as follows. ‘She is fast, she can fly and it also boosts her strength’ and all of it creates the perfect quirk that can stop a moving vehicle without much issue ESPECIALLY ones that have chocolate clogging their axles. The car soon came to a stop as the sweet substance halted its momentum as it soon was surrounded by chocolate.
The sounds of them cursing and trying to get out of the van can be heard as one would get closer...but she would put a stop top as she slammed her weight into the hood of the van. Causing a dent on the set escape vehicle as it began to smoke to signify that it ain't going to be useful for the getaway anymore. . The looks of fear that the criminals were giving were immense as she glared at them through the cracked front window. She simply raised her hand in the air as she activated her quirk as it burned bright through the window.
“So do you want to try your luck or do you submit?”, she asked as she looked at them through the window but this was also directed at every nearby criminal as it made alot of noise. The smoke was going into the air as she smirked like the devil she is through the window to see if they had the balls.
