Description: Aside from his curiously grey skin tone, sharp yellow teeth and red eyes as part of the mutation aspects of his quirk, he was also born with some animal-like traits. Those particular traits ended up giving him enhanced senses, which to an extent, also ties into his quirk's functionality. The antlers work as antennas and his ears help in pointing the directions of where the audio he's producing will project from, as well as making it much easier to pick up various sounds around him. Finn's quirk is certainly one that allows him to be a one man show with the way he can manifest sounds in both a wide range of vocals from masculine to feminine, all ages, sound effects, animals and musical instruments (synthesized and orchestral) as well. Along with being like a walking radio drama with how he can create all the sounds he needs to put on a show all by himself, he can also change the position of various that he makes from interacting with the environment to a different source or trade the sounds out.

Presently, it's much easier for him to produce and throw noise to and from speakers/audio producing devices around him since they're devices capable of producing sound. One of the ways to tell whether or not the auditory shenanigans aspect of his quirk are active is whether or not his eyes are glowing while his pupils look similar to dials, twitching as though they're trying to find the right station with the more sounds being either created or messed with. Another way he helps himself with directing his quirk is also motioning his hands around like some sort of conductor, especially when there are more sounds in the mix, which he honestly has a bit of fun with. He can also replicate the voices of others he's heard as though it's naturally part of his vocal range upon hearing it.

Exhaustion and Weakness: With how his pupils become slit-like dials, the more audio he's messing with, the more they twitch. His quirk has optimal function when his eyes are open, when they're closed for a period of time, the quality dwindles with lingering involuntary static coating the sounds he's messing with. When he isn't messing with as much audio, it's almost like an amateur cameraman trying to figure out how filming works, but the more sounds he's messing with will make it look like a shoddy action scene with way too much movement and 0 focus. It'll strain his eyes, give him a headache (which can become intense like a migraine) and make him dizzy with some motion sickness, possibly even cave into a sense of nausea. Those antlers on his head, if they are damaged or chopped off, it'll reduce his range and he'll need to wait for them to grow back. Skin/Scars: Grey, though he doesn't have notable scars, the skin upon his hands are a deep crimson red, nearly black depending on the lighting fading a bit past his wrist in a gradient, fur-like pattern. To the touch, his skin has a velvet texture.
Eyes: The sclera of his eyes are a blood red, the irises a rosy pink and his pupils are more like ovals rather than solid circles which can become thin like slits. They hold a subtle glow to them, but that intensifies much more during the use of his quirk. Its been pretty handy in finding things that like to fall under the couch!
Notables: Those naturally red nails and scales on his knuckles are on the thicker side, almost like claws for his nails and hooves for his knuckles.

APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY

Appearance:
Tall, lean and lanky are a few good words to describe this man at a glance. He tends to lean toward dressing more in a dapper fashion and loves coat tails since they allow his fluffy deer-like tail to wiggle about comfortably. With grayish skin, it doesn't really seem like there's much else to it unless someone is up close or shaking his hand, for example. There are many short hairs upon his skin that make it feel soft, yet silky to the touch which throw the senses for a loop when grazing his knuckles since those circular, scale-like pieces are rough like hooves. Those sharp red nails, however, feel less like those of a human and more like a feline or canine.

Sometimes he can be found going around town with a cane that's modified to have a microphone upon it and a built in speaker. Not only is it functioning, but it goes nicely with his aesthetic as well! A common piece found in the mix of his attire tends to be a top hat with a gem that looks like an eye and adorned with a few feathers. Whenever he chooses to wear gloves, they're usually finger less since his nails don't do very well with traditional gloves unless properly tailored to accommodate that. When it comes to shoes, sometimes he'll wear more traditional dress shoes which have more of a point to them. Another variant are dress shoes with a heel since there are times he enjoys that style as well.

Even though Finn doesn't normally show off his bare feet, they're similar to his hands and have that dark maroon pattern which fade into the more prominent grey skin tone and red nails akin to claws in texture, those circular scale-like patches feeling like hooves are there as well. Instead of having a traditional set of ears like most humans at the sides of his head, he has a pair of pointy ears upon his hair accented by black trim and small antlers. The monocle he wears is less cosmetic and more to compensate for the bits of colorblindness of that particular eye so that his vision match up for both eyes. He enjoys wearing both ties and bow ties, really depends on his mood. A little fun fact about his shoes is that he custom orders them so that they have little hoof prints upon the soles.

Personality:
Life is such a curiously colorful thing to the man who likes to look sharp for the world since, after all, every day in public is like a moment of standing upon a large stage. Even though the man can be subtle and lurk about in the background, he has a knack for trying to play a role in the lives of his peers. Big or small, noticeable or not, it doesn't matter! The guy gets a kick out of adding a little flare to what he views as the dull and drab world around him by throwing in sound effects or audio tracks as though life's nothing more than a long running sitcom. Some folks think the guy is a wee bit off his rocker at times.

Such an assumption about him wouldn't be too far off. If he can bring forth a sense of amusement to himself, that's the perpetual short term goal to meet in every moment he shares a social encounter with others. Quite a few of his coworkers tend to have mixed feelings for the strange man who seems as though it's impossible to knock him down from the pedestal of optimism. It may be challenging and the guy has a lot more going on upstairs than he lets on, especially since it's like he treats the world like his very own Wonderland and he's their lovely mad hatter at times and life's just some unorthodox tea party!

Sometimes he'll wear it on his sleeve that his peers are simply pieces in life's game, but this isn't to say he doesn't care about people. On the contrary, for those he views as friends, he tries to go the extra mile to be there for them and bring them a sense of joy and happiness. For those he cares about, he'll place them on a delightful pedestal and do all within his power to treat them like some sort of priceless art piece if they get close enough to him. In fact, it's difficult to push him toward any sort of violent tendencies, but the man has a breaking point which will bring out a side to him that's more like some sort of wild card where it's a little challenging to predict his next course of action. That psychological break tied in with his impulsive nature will certainly throw folks for a loop and take them for a ride of some kind!

Aside from his general goofy approach at life, he's surprisingly laid back and seems to have a bit of a gentlemanly air about him in the way he carries himself. Probably because he gets a tad more formal when communicating with others as his form of providing a base level of respect and seeing how much more of that they earn from him. Either way, part of why he loves his job so much is because it works as a creative outlet and lets him have fun while being paid to do so. It's honestly a lovely fit for him and it's even given him a fantastic excuse to meet others or get to know them through his radio show.

Yes, he does like to bring his job along with him at times, even sometimes stumbling upon terrifying brawls on the street and acting as their announcer as though they were taking part in an audio drama...making the script up as he observes the situation at hand. Some may call it a twisted sense of entertainment, but he calls it a hobby! When it comes to arguing couples, especially those with a child who will possibly get scarred from from their actions, he does feel a bitter sense of determination and will usually try to intervene to some extent or another in hopes of salvaging the situation in some form or another.

HISTORY

Meet Finn Halloran, a man who's spent years plagued with dreams of a twisted wonderland. One which is made of nightmares and dreams, walking a delicate balance of mental instability as though it was a tight rope. The balancing act in which he finds himself seeing life through the eyes of a fellow who tried to save the world he called home. This fellow was someone he could relate to, wanting nothing more than to make those around him happy and bring them joy. Finn empathized with the fellow every time he would fall asleep and watch this man's life play out, wishing the best for the twisted wonderland he'd see in the realm of his dreams.

Escaping the dark and harsh world through slumber to see this strange place and all of the adventures unfolding, this is the place in which he was happiest while growing up. As grim as it was at times, it was almost as though there was always something to look forward to in the dreamscape, even when things seemed grim. The driven determination to mend a world falling apart at the seams of the one who called himself a mad hatter gave him hope that his own life was going to get better. If the mad hatter in his dreams could get through seemingly impossible, hopeless situations, so could he.

Through it all, this mad hatter even had the support, a pillar of one who held the title of march hare. Despite feeling so alone in the world, perhaps one day he'd be capable of finding a support system like he did. The catch was he had to keep pushing forward and make it through all the difficult patches first. Finn had to make sure he never gave up hope, no matter what. There would be no such thing as a happy ending for him if he gave up or stopped trying, this was a lesson he carried with him all the way to adulthood.

So...what was it like outside of his dreams in the reality he was born into?

Mother was a woman who believed in the foundation of money being the most important thing, but drove herself to hit the bottle night after night. Father was a man who lived with stars in his eyes and had a passion for art and story telling, the money was a perk, but it wasn't the most important thing to him. They immigrated over to Japan before he was born. All he can remember is the two arguing and how his mother saw Finn as a financial mistake, but his father felt like he was a blessing and nurtured him as much as possible.

Stay together for the child's sake was ultimately the choice made, even if it their marriage was broken and held together with scotch tape and cheap glue. They knew that their families back home would be disgusted and Finn's father knew how hard it would be on the child since he too came from a broken home where it was he and his mother against the world. His father was determined to never put his own child through that. With how short tempered his mother was due to her bitter nature, maybe it would have been better for his parents to part ways. No matter, though, his father nurtured him and spent a great deal of time with the young boy during his waking hours and tried his best to make them filled with happiness. At least until his mother came in to ruin the fun of making stories together and acting them out here and there.

However, when his quirk began to flourish, that's when his mother changed her attitude and saw the child as a potential money maker...or even get some help acquiring a better position at work. Finn's father was against the notion of trying to use their child, but the odd boy was actually enthralled by it and was excited since his mother knew some people at a radio station who would appreciate what his quirk could do. That's when things were gradually starting to turn around and things seemed to get better at home when Finn was proving his mother wrong through his actions, that he was more than just some financial burden! Besides, doing sound effects and voices were super fun, so this was honestly like the chance to get himself that thing called a dream job that so many adults wished for.

To him, there was nothing wrong with that, he was so excited! Plus, his father made the time to be at his side to make sure that there was no sketchy or funny business going on. The good times kept rolling and when he was old enough, his mother and father divorced since there was no longer happiness in their marriage. They remained more or less civil through out the years until they both gradually passed away, one year apart. With the both of them pulling an unfortunate draw of the gene pool, he took his time to mourn, but would celebrate their lives, even that of his mother.

Tomorrow is promised to nobody, this is why he aims to continue living life to the fullest and making as much of what he feels is a positive impact among his peers in his own way at the very least.

Hair/Style: A vibrant red accented by black tips, bangs normally swooshed out to the side and his hair akin to a medium short pixie cut where it's short in the back.
Skin/Scars: Grey, though he's gradually developing some scars here and there, the skin upon his hands are a deep crimson red, nearly black depending on the lighting fading a bit past his wrist in a gradient, fur-like pattern. To the touch, his skin has a velvet texture.
Eyes: The sclera of his eyes are a blood red, the irises a rosy pink and his pupils are more like ovals rather than solid circles which can become thin like slits. They hold a subtle glow to them, but that intensifies much more during the use of his quirk. Its been pretty handy in finding things that like to fall under the couch!
Notables: Those naturally red nails and scales on his knuckles are on the thicker side, almost like claws for his nails and hooves for his knuckles.

APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY

Appearance:
Tall, lean and lanky are a few good words to describe this man at a glance. He tends to lean toward dressing more in a dapper fashion and loves coat tails since they allow his fluffy deer-like tail to wiggle about comfortably. With grayish skin, it doesn't really seem like there's much else to it unless someone is up close or shaking his hand, for example. There are many short hairs upon his skin that make it feel soft, yet silky to the touch which throw the senses for a loop when grazing his knuckles since those circular, scale-like pieces are rough like hooves. Those sharp red nails, however, feel less like those of a human and more like a feline or canine.

Sometimes he can be found going around town with a cane that's modified to have a microphone upon it and a built in speaker. Not only is it functioning, but it goes nicely with his aesthetic as well! A common piece found in the mix of his attire tends to be a top hat with a gem that looks like an eye and adorned with a few feathers. Whenever he chooses to wear gloves, they're usually finger less since his nails don't do very well with traditional gloves unless properly tailored to accommodate that. When it comes to shoes, sometimes he'll wear more traditional dress shoes which have more of a point to them. Another variant are dress shoes with a heel since there are times he enjoys that style as well.

Even though Finn doesn't normally show off his bare feet, they're similar to his hands and have that dark maroon pattern which fade into the more prominent grey skin tone and red nails akin to claws in texture, those circular scale-like patches feeling like hooves are there as well. Instead of having a traditional set of ears like most humans at the sides of his head, he has a pair of pointy ears upon his hair accented by black trim and small antlers. The monocle he wears is less cosmetic and more to compensate for the bits of colorblindness of that particular eye so that his vision match up for both eyes. He enjoys wearing both ties and bow ties, really depends on his mood. A little fun fact about his shoes is that he custom orders them so that they have little hoof prints upon the soles.

Personality:
Life is such a curiously colorful thing to the man who likes to look sharp for the world since, after all, every day in public is like a moment of standing upon a large stage. Even though the man can be subtle and lurk about in the background, he has a knack for trying to play a role in the lives of his peers. Big or small, noticeable or not, it doesn't matter! The guy gets a kick out of adding a little flare to what he views as the dull and drab world around him by throwing in sound effects or audio tracks as though life's nothing more than a long running sitcom. Some folks think the guy is a wee bit off his rocker at times.

Such an assumption about him wouldn't be too far off. If he can bring forth a sense of amusement to himself, that's the perpetual short term goal to meet in every moment he shares a social encounter with others. Quite a few of his coworkers tend to have mixed feelings for the strange man who seems as though it's impossible to knock him down from the pedestal of optimism. It may be challenging and the guy has a lot more going on upstairs than he lets on, especially since it's like he treats the world like his very own Wonderland and he's their lovely mad hatter at times and life's just some unorthodox tea party!

Sometimes he'll wear it on his sleeve that his peers are simply pieces in life's game, but this isn't to say he doesn't care about people. On the contrary, for those he views as friends, he tries to go the extra mile to be there for them and bring them a sense of joy and happiness. For those he cares about, he'll place them on a delightful pedestal and do all within his power to treat them like some sort of priceless art piece if they get close enough to him. In fact, it's difficult to push him toward any sort of violent tendencies, but the man has a breaking point which will bring out a side to him that's more like some sort of wild card where it's a little challenging to predict his next course of action. That psychological break tied in with his impulsive nature will certainly throw folks for a loop and take them for a ride of some kind!

Aside from his general goofy approach at life, he's surprisingly laid back and seems to have a bit of a gentlemanly air about him in the way he carries himself. Probably because he gets a tad more formal when communicating with others as his form of providing a base level of respect and seeing how much more of that they earn from him. Either way, part of why he loves his job so much is because it works as a creative outlet and lets him have fun while being paid to do so. It's honestly a lovely fit for him and it's even given him a fantastic excuse to meet others or get to know them through his radio show.

Yes, he does like to bring his job along with him at times, even sometimes stumbling upon terrifying brawls on the street and acting as their announcer as though they were taking part in an audio drama...making the script up as he observes the situation at hand. Some may call it a twisted sense of entertainment, but he calls it a hobby! When it comes to arguing couples, especially those with a child who will possibly get scarred from from their actions, he does feel a bitter sense of determination and will usually try to intervene to some extent or another in hopes of salvaging the situation in some form or another.

HISTORY

Meet Finn Halloran, a man who's spent years plagued with dreams of a twisted wonderland. One which is made of nightmares and dreams, walking a delicate balance of mental instability as though it was a tight rope. The balancing act in which he finds himself seeing life through the eyes of a fellow who tried to save the world he called home. This fellow was someone he could relate to, wanting nothing more than to make those around him happy and bring them joy. Finn empathized with the fellow every time he would fall asleep and watch this man's life play out, wishing the best for the twisted wonderland he'd see in the realm of his dreams.

Escaping the dark and harsh world through slumber to see this strange place and all of the adventures unfolding, this is the place in which he was happiest while growing up. As grim as it was at times, it was almost as though there was always something to look forward to in the dreamscape, even when things seemed grim. The driven determination to mend a world falling apart at the seams of the one who called himself a mad hatter gave him hope that his own life was going to get better. If the mad hatter in his dreams could get through seemingly impossible, hopeless situations, so could he.

Through it all, this mad hatter even had the support, a pillar of one who held the title of march hare. Despite feeling so alone in the world, perhaps one day he'd be capable of finding a support system like he did. The catch was he had to keep pushing forward and make it through all the difficult patches first. Finn had to make sure he never gave up hope, no matter what. There would be no such thing as a happy ending for him if he gave up or stopped trying, this was a lesson he carried with him all the way to adulthood.

So...what was it like outside of his dreams in the reality he was born into?

Mother was a woman who believed in the foundation of money being the most important thing, but drove herself to hit the bottle night after night. Father was a man who lived with stars in his eyes and had a passion for art and story telling, the money was a perk, but it wasn't the most important thing to him. They immigrated over to Japan before he was born. All he can remember is the two arguing and how his mother saw Finn as a financial mistake, but his father felt like he was a blessing and nurtured him as much as possible.

Stay together for the child's sake was ultimately the choice made, even if it their marriage was broken and held together with scotch tape and cheap glue. They knew that their families back home would be disgusted and Finn's father knew how hard it would be on the child since he too came from a broken home where it was he and his mother against the world. His father was determined to never put his own child through that. With how short tempered his mother was due to her bitter nature, maybe it would have been better for his parents to part ways. No matter, though, his father nurtured him and spent a great deal of time with the young boy during his waking hours and tried his best to make them filled with happiness. At least until his mother came in to ruin the fun of making stories together and acting them out here and there.

However, when his quirk began to flourish, that's when his mother changed her attitude and saw the child as a potential money maker...or even get some help acquiring a better position at work. Finn's father was against the notion of trying to use their child, but the odd boy was actually enthralled by it and was excited since his mother knew some people at a radio station who would appreciate what his quirk could do. That's when things were gradually starting to turn around and things seemed to get better at home when Finn was proving his mother wrong through his actions, that he was more than just some financial burden! Besides, doing sound effects and voices were super fun, so this was honestly like the chance to get himself that thing called a dream job that so many adults wished for.

To him, there was nothing wrong with that, he was so excited! Plus, his father made the time to be at his side to make sure that there was no sketchy or funny business going on. The good times kept rolling and when he was old enough, his mother and father divorced since there was no longer happiness in their marriage. They remained more or less civil through out the years until they both gradually passed away, one year apart. With the both of them pulling an unfortunate draw of the gene pool, he took his time to mourn, but would celebrate their lives, even that of his mother.

Tomorrow is promised to nobody, this is why he aims to continue living life to the fullest and making as much of what he feels is a positive impact among his peers in his own way at the very least.

Finn's quirk is certainly one that allows him to be a one man show with the way he can manifest sounds in both a wide range of vocals from masculine to feminine, all ages, sound effects, animals and musical instruments (synthesized and orchestral) as well. Along with being like a walking radio drama with how he can create all the sounds he needs to put on a show all by himself, he can also change the position of various that he makes from interacting with the environment to a different source or trade the sounds out.

One of the ways to tell whether or not the auditory shenanigans aspect of his quirk are active is whether or not his eyes are glowing while his pupils look similar to dials, twitching as though they're trying to find the right station with the more sounds being either created or messed with. Another way he helps himself with directing his quirk is also motioning his hands around like some sort of conductor, especially when there are more sounds in the mix, which he honestly has a bit of fun with. When he isn't messing with as much audio, it's almost like an amateur cameraman trying to figure out how filming works, but the more sounds he's messing with will make it look like a shoddy action scene with way too much movement and 0 focus. It'll strain his eyes, give him a headache (which can become intense like a migraine) and make him dizzy with some motion sickness, possibly even cave into a sense of nausea. The more he does with audio without pacing himself properly, the sooner he'll get those awful side effects.

Finn is about in average shape with average strength, he's by no means a brawler and not the sort who has interest in martial arts or anything of the sort at the moment which means no training in combative tactics. He likes going to the park for walks so he can keep himself in shape, but he's not the guy you want to go to for lifting heavy objects. Those antlers on his head, if they are damaged or chopped off, it'll reduce his range and he'll need to wait for them to grow back. Even though he toys around with sound, he can still get caught off guard with sudden, loud noises thanks to his enhanced hearing and that will occasionally cause ringing in his ears and have a headache.

Over all, pacing is very important for him or to just have his vision fixated on a solid thing with no texture (such as a big, blank poster board, which is what he does at work and that helps give him a more manageable headache that medicine can help in the remedying the discomfort) to remedy the side effect with his pupils. Staying hydrated is also rather important for his quirk since it'll make his throat feel dry and oddly enough, that effects his audio range and quality.

There's another point of if he didn't hear a sound in particular, he can't mimic it or recreate something similar to it without having heard it. This means that Finn absolutely cannot replicate a voice of someone he's never heard before. He's a bit colorblind to red in one of his eyes, so to accommodate that and make his vision match up better, he has a monocle with a lens which remedies that. However, if the monocle isn't there, he does take a bit to re-adjust to his vision meshing oddly.
