APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Ed is a very peculiar looking person. Due to his quirk stunting his growth, he tends to be much shorter than the others around him. Not that it surprisingly bothers him. Over time, with his life style as what it is, he has become awfully skinny and fragile looking, as he has pretty much made do with what food he could find. Not that he usually goes to sleep hungry. A lot of people waste enough food to feed one man and its frog family. Some could outright call him a bit dim looking, with the unfortunate combo of being a hardworking night owl making him perpetually tired. But in excitement, his eyes can go as wide as plates.
Clothesvise he tends to prefer either very light clothing, sweatpants, shorts and vests and the like, or professional gear, in which case he has a big labcoat on, hiding almost all of his legs under it. Whenever he is outside with his frogs, he usually wears a bright yellow raincoat, hiding them under it. With his new attempted job description, he tries to wear something less eyecatching... but he can't do much with what his face is, so he wears a scarf to hide the lower part of it.
POSITIVE
✔ dedicated, nature loving, hardworking, compassionate, curious
NEGATIVE
✖ obsessive, clingy, insomniac, one track minded
, paranoid
LIKES
✔ Reptiles, amphibians, humidity, connections, new discoveries, personal space
DISLIKES
✖ disruptions, dry temperatures, traveling, FROGS DYING, impatience
, inconsiderate demands
Personality:
Eduardo is one of those people, who doesn't really want to leave the places they find comfortable. Whenever he is forced to change the place he lives, you can assume he will be moaning about it, or whenever you tell him you want to do something else than what he is concentrating on, he will most likely be whining about it. However, he is luckily semi good at taking root, meaning that the problematic situation can rise again quite quickly from where he moved as well.
In that regard it makes a lot of sense that Ed has really rooted into the group he is working with. He for the most part sees them as his friends and trusts them for tasks, aside from any new recruits, who he naturally takes a while to get accustomed to.
However, everything pales in comparison to his love, interest and curiousity towards his frogs. He personally names almost every single one of them, and talks to them like they were actual walking talking people. He teaches them things, he studies them, he feels outright heartbroken when they die, And he has been this way since he developed his quirk.
Naturally, he likes swimming and all sorts of aquatic activities. He might spend 30 minutes in a shower if you let him.
Whenever he starts something, he will want to finish it before starting to do anything else. Partially because he knows of his groups tendency to quickly switch priorities when something more interesting shows up. Sometimes this leads to him being very clueless about recent happenings with his group, Whether it is because he just slept over it happening... or he hasn't exited his room for couple of days trying to get something of his own to work.

HISTORY
Eduardo is one of those people who might seem unfortunate, but is himself actually very much fine with it. As a child, his growth slowly stunted over time, noticeably getting shorter than most of his classmates. Most of the people looked at him more as a joke, than proper friend material. But with his quirk appearing during these days, He slowly but surely connected with his frogs in a major fashion, always talking with them. And slowly they became pretty much like a bunch of little brothers to him...
And naturally, as his age grew, He realized how short lived frogs could be as a pet. He created more naturally... but each time one of them met their end, the sorrow in his heart became bigger and bigger. And this lead him into visiting countless aquariums, rivers and pools, just to see what the frogs thought about it. Seeing them frolic and enjoy themselves struck a nerve with the young man... so much so that he decided to make it his life mission, to make a perfect place for his little ninos to live...
He studied hard, he studied immensely, Making himself pretty much as smart as any biologist living in a zoo... But when it came time to take the exam, which he naturally passed, it came time to also take part in an interview. And the way he went into detail about everything he had learned, down to the last tip of a crocodiles intestine...
It freaked them out. The way he seemingly enjoyed every last portion of his explanations... and he was thrown out... With all that work down the toilet, he secluded himself in his apartment, trying to get into other places, but the interviews went about the same way each time. However, his most successful interview entered without invitation. Savage, the leader of the vagabonds, invited him into his crew, the Vagabonds. At first, Ed had been careful about the offer, but soon, it became an offer too hard to refuse. after all, he promised to make his dream come true. And Ed didn't want anything else.
And with that, for many years, his life situation was dictated by the group known as the vagabonds. He used his frogs as spies, guards, and as toxic neutralizers for any enemy their group couldn't handle. The group made him feel somewhat important, but his dream never got closer to being finished. New members joined, yet whenever Ed asked Savage for his dream, Savage brought him a new aquarium to 'tide him over until it was a possibility'. These little aquariums started getting huge, and the amount of frogs filling them too. With how successful they had been, he became complacent...
And once they reached Japan, Many of the frogs started dying. Be it kidnappings of some of the more important people, or simple scouting missions, leaving his frogs around the place to know what was going on, there was a never a day without a casualty. His wish for his dream was getting further and further away, and then Shinigawa happened. Ed wasn't exactly sure what had happened, but the Vagabonds split. Savage had apparently dove into the ocean, to 'fight off a whale', Jean, the second in command had left everybody else behind with it, and the others... the others didn't even speak to Eduardo anymore... and with the ship they came on being detained by the police force, Ed was permanently stranded in a country he didn't know, without anything else for his troubles and efforts left in his pocket, but a big vial of Marine... a mysterious quirk empowering substance made by a local crime gang.
With a target on his back both from them, and the local police force, he was forced to hide and run. With his frog family in toe, he has been able to hide and survive, but with harsh losses, and painful situations with other criminals bullying him for his personal weakness. This cultivated his hatred of humans over frogs, as it kept growing more and more... and yet, he missed the vagabonds a lot. He missed having a connection with people, who you could tell to do something, and they would most of the time atleast try to do it...
And with some people outright negotiating him for his services, and asking his assistance in finding out about others... He realized once again his love for knowing things. Knowing the tiniest bit about animals... yet now, it was the hardest and most complicated animal of all. Humans... He was going to gather info on everyone, and sell said info to anyone who needed it, be it villains or the officials. And he would keep his head low, as to not gather attention. And maybe one day, he could find the info he was looking for... the info that would provide him with the paradise he has been looking for for so long. But will his new connections stay as clean and friendly with that in mind? Well, he had to wait and see.
