A few quick clarifications, just to help me understand. First, with the grace period being like a cooldown of sorts, is there a duration type deal? Is it supposed to be one turn? Then if it’s one turn, how does applying an ailment look when looking at the actions in combat? Is it like... a free action?

Two questions off the bat, just to clear things up: First off, i see that disorient reduces accuracy. Just to clarify, does this mean accuracy of ranged someones range, or does it also apply to close combat types of skills?
Secondly, do you actually need a cleanse ability to get rid of an ailment, or can certain ailments be dealt with without one, depending on quirk? For example, could a water quirker deal with a burn without a cleanse ability? Since they can douse the flames, assuming its an on fire burn. In fact i also notice it doesnt specify if one cleanse ability deals with all ailments or if it works similar to resistances, where its one for one.
Actually, just thought of a third one. Does cripple also apply to speed? or just someones mobility. So you could still run fast but not be able to jump? Or would you just be on the ground showing everyone what your lunch was today?

All Ailments have a 3-turn duration - this was the case beforehand, but forgot to mention it in the rework, has been added. The grace period has also been clarified.
Disorient means ranged accuracy. Cripple applies only to mobility - the general goal of this rework was each ailment affecting a different ability.
Cleanse can deal with all ailments, at the expense of being more stamina intensive and requiring an 'active' use. Generally, you will not be able to use a Quirk's in-built properties as justification in place of Cleanse, however this is only in a strict, completely system-abiding PvP sense, strictly for balance. In ST'd threads, or threads in which you discuss it with your opponent, you can do stuff like this for fun.
