The plan was a simple one. Seeing as he was stuck with the students in his class for the rest of his time here, Yuhiko wanted to learn everything useful he could about them. Specifically, which ones could prove to get in his way. The boy wished for only one thing. To become the very best. To excel and stand at the top. He could never accept anything less than absolute perfection. He would surpass everyone else. Allowing even a single student to rise above him was out of the question. Yuhiko could never accept being content in someone else's shadow.
I will become the very best hero. And to ensure that no one tries to usurp my position as the best of the best, I must keep an eye out for anyone who proves to be troublesome.
It was a shame that Yuhiko did not trust anyone else. He only ever approached those who proved to be of use to him. Anyone else was a waste of his time. Still, he needed to be absolutely sure that no one was overlooked. The last thing he wanted was to make a miscalculation and assume that someone was not worth paying attention to, only to grow and become a massive thorn in his side somewhere down the road.
The plan then was simple. Get to know the other students of his class, under the pretense of wanting to get along better with them, or wanting to train with them, or some other excuse. But really, Yuhiko was scouting those who in his mind were the competition. As the saying goes, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. To him, there was only room for one at the top, and he would do everything in his power to make sure that he would be the one to seize that spot. It was use or be used, and Yuhiko had no intention of ever letting anyone else use him.
So it was time to make his move. Once class was over, he made his way to one of his classmates that he was not yet familiar with. With a cold and imposing aura, he looked at the student as he spoke. "You. Nagi Uehara, right?" Yuhiko had made sure to pay attention to whenever attendance was taken. He did not wish to waste time with petty introductions, especially since he had no idea if anyone here would be worth his time.
"I am looking for someone worthy to train with after all lessons are finished. Preferably someone here who could give me a decent challenge. So I've chosen you. I request a spar with you at Ground Alpha. Whenever you're free, but preferably today if you don't have plans. I want to put our skills to the test. And no holding back, naturally."
Seeing how much of a stickler for the rules he was, Yuhiko had of course requested supervision from a teacher first. Unsanctioned fights were forbidden after all. But with this roadblock out of the way, Yuhiko would not have to worry about that. All he needed to do now was wait for his opponent to accept. He would calmly wait if needed, but Yuhiko would rather get this fight started as soon as possible.
