Walking through the dorms, Luna held an envelope in her hand that was sealed up and everything all fancy-like. On the front of the note simply read 'To Poemu~' in neat handwriting. With a smirk on the dog girl's face, she stood outside of Room 36.
Earlier that day, Sunday to be exact, Luna thought about how cool some Gadgets would work with her Quirk. Knowing full well that she didn't have the know-how to build one herself she decided to look through the Support Class Roster. She didn't want to bother an upperclassmen right now so she mostly just looked through the first years, and found a suitable student who lived on the same floor as her! While Luna was in Room 31, this 'Poemu Akechi' girl was living just down the hall in Room 36!
With her target student picked out, Luna went ahead and wrote a little note that she would slip under the door to as to not bother the other student TOO much hopefully. They had to go into class tomorrow afterall, making them stay up too late would reflect bad on their studies. After finishing her note, Luna read it over one more time. 'Hello, Poemu. We've never met in person but I would really like to meet you and get to know you. I'll be waiting down in the dorm lobby if you want to come~ I'll be there until we have to leave for curfew.' Luna let out a satisfied hmph as she read through her note, feeling like it was a success to get her point across! She then slid it into a small envelope, stamping it with a seal and writing on the front.
Flashing forward to the current moment, Luna hopped up and down giddily a few times before reaching forward and knocking on Poemu's door a couple times. She didn't want to be too obnoxious, so she stopped immediately after the second knock and slipped the note under the door. She didn't know if Poemu would even respond to this, but Luna was at the very least satisfied that she got this far. With that, she moved off and immediately went down the stairs to head down to the lobby.
When she arrived, she simply pulled out her device and flipped through some news articles as she knew it'd probably take a few minutes before Poemu would show up, if she would even make an attempt to.

It had taken about a week for Poemu's dorm to get as messy as her old room.
Despite initially swearing to keep things tidier, her old habits hadn't just disappeared, and soon enough the young programmer's room was littered with laundry in need of handling, food packaging in need of disposal and various bits of merchandise from a myriad of sources that she hadn't quite found a good spot for. Not to mention the hastily-applied posters that covered her walls, depicting everything from anime and games to even some Pro Hero merch... Although she'd initially promised herself not to fall back into her old ways, Poemu had already managed to turn this room into something she'd hesitate to show others.
Well, not that she thought all too much about it. So long as she didn't get a roommate, that wasn't going to be a problem, right? Such justifications were all the support student needed to avoid cleaning the place up. However, the mess that surrounded wasn't quite enough to hide the odd letter she found slipped through her door.
Having been sat lazily behind her computer, Poemu ended up eyeing the letter with skeptical suspicion at first, her attention drawn by the knocking. Past experiences had trained her to be less than excited about letters from peers addressed to her, but her curiosity quickly took over. 'Not like anyone knows me yet anyway... Hopefully it wasn't something from the school itself. As far as she knew, she hadn't done anything wrong. Mistreatment of her dorm room notwithstanding.
With a hesitant grasp, she picked up the small envelop and opened it, finding the letter inside. Eyes scanned over the note, and in an instant, she found her eyes wide in surprise.
"Eh? Is this?"
A letter slid under her door, so neatly packed into an envelope, declaring a desire to meet and get to know her? Surprise gave way to excitement and a certain smugness, as her mind ran away with the idea of this mysterious request. Was this the fabled 'high school debut' she'd heard about? Was her time for popularity already near?
She knew the highlights in her hair were a good idea.
Poemu briefly adjusted her appearance, making an attempt to fix her headphone-hair and shifting her false pink eye in its socket. With a false bravado, she set off, ready to meet the one whose interest she'd caught. It was only fair someone like her finally get some well-deserved attention, right?
That bravado faded about half a minute after Poemu was out the door, as it crossed her mind this might be some kind of prank or something too. There was that one-time in middle school, after all... Of course, by the time these doubts arose, it was too late to retreat, as Poemu stepped into the dorm lobby with uncertainty about what was exactly going to happen. Given there was no way to know who she was looking for, Poemu spoke up, trying to muster some confidence, but sounding quite a bit awkward.
"Uhhh, yo, this is Poemu Akechi here..."

Still browsing the news articles on her device, Luna's ears flicked to the sound of someone approaching the lobby. She was invested in the little blurb she was reading about currently, causing her to keep her eyes on the device rather than actually checking who had come. It wasn't like there would be no other traffic going on, so this could have just been someone else taking care of their business. She also didn't even know what her target looked like, there was only a name attached so far.
It seemed that was all that was needed, however, as an awkward voice called out their own name. Luna's ears immediately perked up again at the sound, causing her to quickly turn off her device and pocket it. She turned to take a good look at what Poemu actually looked like, causing her face to light up as she ran over. "Whoa, you actually came! I sure did pick a flashy lookin one~" the dog-girl looked Poemu up and down again, her tail standing on end as it began to swish back and forth rapidly. She took note of the possible heterochromia first, as well as the stylization of the hair. The highlights reminded Luna of her own hair, though hers came naturally, seemingly like a big brown spot on a dog's fur.
"You can call me Luna, sorry for the note this late and all." she giggled and rubbed the back of her head as she apologized. She couldn't stay like that too long, though, she still had the more pressing stuff to ask. "So uh... you're a member of the support class, right?" a toothy grin spread across her face as she asked this, the girl bouncing up and down on her feet a few times as she thought over things excitedly.
She hadn't actually looked through the support classes yet, nor the other students, so this was her first actual link to those classes. There was definitely more to that class than what Luna was actually looking for, but just meeting a single one would help her meet others no doubt. No matter who this support student was, this wasn't a dud attempt! And even if she couldn't help her, there was always the chance a friend could come out of this. "I'm interested in what sort of stuff you specialize in if anything! You should tell me all about what you do!" at this point, her excitement blew through her desire to somewhat ease herself into this talk. She was now leaning close to Poemu, a beaming grin on her face and an intense look in her eyes as she peered straight at the other student.

Poemu didn't have a clue who she was looking for, but after calling out to try and get the attention of whoever had left that note, the programmer figured out pretty quickly who it was. After all, they were rushing over to her with an imposingly excited look, a girl with ears like those of a hound! Poemu was tensing up all over again, still undecided on if the letter she'd received was meant to be some kind of enticing invitation, prank or somewhere between. Either way, even without the letter, Luna's presence was and bright look was almost blinding to Poemu. It was the natural reaction one like her might have to realizing they're in the presence of a powerful extrovert! Almost flinching backward as Luna approached, Poemu swallowed and tried to maintain her cool, while still internally noting that this dog-girl was... Well. Very, very, very cute. Unbearably so. 'Don't pat her head, fight the instinct!'Her eyes catching the swishing tail, Poemu heard herself described as flashy, and that she'd been picked for something!? What was this suspicious situation, even? Well, that aside, it was mostly the flashy thing that Poemu was focusing on. Hearing her look, carefully cultivated to give a good impression for her 'high school debut' did put a bit of a smug look on her face! Poemu's uncertainties, anxieties, and even excitements were quickly replaced by a mundane curiosity about what this girl - who introduced herself as Luna - was looking. "Huh? Uh, yeah, I'm in the Support Class... Since like, a few weeks ago..." Poemu clarified, raising a brow and fidgeting restlessly with her hands. The dog girl's bouncing energy felt like it was going to crush her at this rate. When Luna expressed her curiosity more clearly, things clicked into place for Poemu. "Oooooh, so that note wasn't a- um, yeah..." She spoke aloud, internally cursing herself for her delusions. Luna leaned in, and Poemu almost instinctively leaned back. What an intimidating presence for an introvert! Gathering up her nerves, Poemu paused for a moment, as a realization crossed her mind. Wasn't this... A chance to actually make a friend? Not an online one, even... Poemu coughed, before putting on a awkward grin and speaking up. "I, like, mostly do software stuff... Y'know like, uh, programming, coding... Hacking, lol..." The next moment she cursed herself for actually saying 'lol' out loud. Not wanting to lose her momentum, she continued. "But, uh, I can build stuff pretty decently too, like a lot of the others, just not as well. Software's my best stuff, but you gotta know how shit works before can tell shit what to do, otherwise it's just shit." She grinned at herself for that one. A supposedly clever saying she'd practiced a few too many times.
However, the next moment, Poemu realized she probably had to... Keep the conversation going and all that. "Like, what class are you in... Luna-tan?"
It took a bit of courage to use that friendly tone, but she was told it worked wonders! With a potential friend on the horizon, maybe this was her debut after all...
