Saturday, 9th of May 2074 2:00 AM I have business to attend to. Unfortunate, but necessary. Though I wish to remain in bed with my dearest Meiko, I must sadly leave her for now and arise. I must bring my usual Crowley attire. The black clothes, the flight suit underneath, the hoodie and gloves, and of course, my special crow mask. Can't have anyone seeing my face or fingerprints, now can we? Though I will of course need to wear civilian clothing and leave my Crowley outfit in a bag to change into later. After all, my usual villain attire would likely attract the attention of heroes like cops on doughnuts. Best to avoid unnecessary attention. Without disturbing my lavender angel from her beauty sleep, I get dressed, grab my usual weapons and gear, and with bag in hand, I'm nearly ready to head out. But one last thing to do before I depart. I write a quick note to let my beloved know I'm heading out on a job. That I'll head out and be back sometime around nine or so, and that I'll get her something nice while I'm there. With the note finished and left by the bedside table for her to see, I quietly leave the bedroom, make my way out of the house (locking it behind me, of course), and depart for the train station. Yes, my business takes me to Musutafu. There is where I must go to meet with the others. 4:30 AM Good lord, finally! The lines on the trains are ridiculous! Fortunately, I made it to the station in Musutafu without issue and managed to take the taxi to the restaurant nearest the meeting place, making it there with only a few minutes to spare. I do hate being late. Anyway, my men were waiting there for me. Though we could have left from Tokyo together, all those people traveling at once would arouse suspicion. I am no fool. That was why I had my men go at separate times, arriving before me precisely to avoid any kind of suspicion. We all meet up in an abandoned building. Of course, my men already have their Yatagarasu outfits all ready. I need to go change into my Crowley attire. And once that is finished, we must then discuss the plan. 4:55 AM We all head out. Our target is one Ichihei Yoshiba. He runs an operation selling drugs whilst covering it up and pretending to sell ice cream. How predictable. To make a long story short, he dares publicly support that Bitch Doctor and has the nerve to openly insult me, calling the murders I've carried out 'despicable' and 'a crime against humanity'. All to try and gain more customers to rip off. Such hypocrisy. But no matter. I'll make an example out of him. Of course, I don't need multiple people just to kill one man. But he is one slippery weasel. And he will no doubt have his team of security with him while he opens up shop. My sources tell me that he usually sets up shop at 5 AM every morning, arriving two hours before his store officially opens at 7 AM. I intend to arrive early to catch him by surprise. And my men will dispose of his measly security team. 5:15 AM Hah! It was far too easy! The fool only brought three idiots with him. Three! It almost makes me feel bad seeing as I had twelve henchmen with me. Almost being the key word here. Anyway, my men disposed of Yoshiba's security, and I killed the bloke myself. It feels so good seeing a victim beg for his life like that. The fool even tried to bribe me. Ha! As if money or drugs are enough to sway me. I cannot be bought! Mercy is not for sale! Only torture and death awaits those arrogant enough to try and defy me! Now to write a message and make that lesson clear to everyone! 6:00 AM I admit, I was a tad bit nervous, worried that some early birds might arrive and nose in on us. but all was clear. We were able to dispose of the bodies without issue, and get certain 'specialists' to clean up the place of any damning evidence. Good luck finding any evidence! All that remains of the fool's store is an empty building with a message on the wall written in blood. Too bad for Mister Yoshiba's customers! There were no drugs to be found in the building, as it's likely he takes it with him when he closes shop. But no matter. We got what we came for. The drugs would have been a small bonus to sell off later, but it was not necessary. I can't wait to see this show up on the news. I can already imagine the headlines. 'Notorious Serial Killer and Number 8 Villain Crowley Strikes Again!' I will be shocked if I don't make the news tonight! Still, I don't mind if my crime goes unnoticed. Let the idiot cops run around for doughnuts and not even realize more fools are dead by my hand! 6:09 AM We have already changed into our civilian clothes back at the abandoned building. Half of my men have already headed out, with a few keeping a lookout for any possible signs of law enforcement. I doubt anyone would visit that 'ice cream' shop this early, but you never know. Still, there are other shops open now, so perhaps I can go find something to buy. Not just to treat myself on a job well done, but also something for Meiko. I did promise her something nice, after all. I could troll and not even use my own money. After all, the victims were rather loaded. Still, I have no idea where that money has been. it could be dirty for all I know. Best not to take any chances. I'll just have my men pay for me! And they can have the victims' money to compensate. Rather brilliant, I must say! 6:13 AM I find a simple clothing store. I come here with two of my henchmen, though we are all pretending to be close friends. I'd rather buy my beloved clothes and jewelry rather than food. After all, the food might go bad by the time I can get home. Surprisingly, there were a few people here already. I suppose some fools really do wake up early just to go out shopping. I could never understand that. Looking around, I see this fabulous lavender dress. I simply must buy this for my love. I also see a nice-looking pair of jeans, shorts, and some t-shirts I know she will absolutely love. And some nice earrings and necklaces too! 6:14 AM With several clothes in the basket, I'm pleased with how much I could get for Meiko. I take the time to text her, letting her know that my job went excellently and that I'm getting her things right now. God, I'm so happy! A successful mission, no one suspects a thing, and best of all, I can come home and give Meiko some things I know she will absolutely love! The day has barely started, and everything is going so well! 6:15 AM ... ... ... WERGFIGWEIDGWGEDGKWJEDGLWIEDHGTEWYFDQSJYLHDIFWKHEJFHWHGLENIGF WHY IS EVERYTHING SHAKING?!?! A FUCKING EARTHQUAKE WHAT THE SHIT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THINGS ARE FALLING LIGHTS GO OUT GGRFOUGUIRGFIERWUGFUGERWDGIWURFWKEUFGWKUGFKGWI SCREAMING EVERYWHERE IS THIS IT? DO I DIE HERE? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK MEIKO HAVE TO LET HER KNOW THIS CAN'T BE THE END AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MEIKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ... OVER? IS IT OVER? DID IT STOP?! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!?!?! 6:16 AM Okay. I'm okay. Everything is okay! Right? Just that one quake. No more for now, right? Good GOD, that was a terrifying 15 seconds! My heart is still racing! So that was my first experience with an earthquake. Not the minor stuff, but an actual real serious quake. Bloody hell! At least I didn't panic and scream. ...That much. Then again, so did everyone else, so at least I wasn't alone there. Not bad for my first time, right? Hmm, maybe I should consider going back to England and taking Meiko with me if I'm going to have to watch out for things like this. ...Nah, I'd rather stay in Japan then ever go back to England. 6:17 AM Okay, I'm far more calm now. Still shaken (pun not intended), but I may have perhaps overreacted. Looking at my phone, good god I texted Meiko so much in my panic! Wow, 44 texts! Let's see a few: 'MEIKO IT'S THE APOCALYPSE' 'AAAAAAAAAAAA' 'Everything's going to Hell!' 'A BLOODY EARTHQUAKE!' 'Please be alright, bby ;-; ' 'I love you so much please stay safe my love' 'Meiko are you okay? Are you okay? Are you okay? Are you okay, Meiko?' 'Do you feel the shaking too?!' 'REALLY WISHING I JUST STAYED IN BED WITH YOU RIGHT NOW!' 'Don't worry about me, I'll be okay! ...I hope.' 'I SWEAR I WILL STAB THE EARTH ITSELF IF THIS DOESN'T STOP' 'If anything happens to me, know that I love you so much' ... ...Good lord, I DO need therapy! I quickly text her to ignore all messages I had sent today so far except for the first. Now I just feel embarrassed! Is one measly earthquake enough to strike fear into the heart of the fearless and infamous demon Crowley? At least my henchmen are smart enough to know to keep this quiet or else die. ...I will admit that I won't be fully calm until Meiko texts me back. I don't care if she even laughs at me for being embarrassing. I just want her to be okay. Just answer my text, my love. Or at least be there when I get home. Either way works fine for me. 6:19 AM I have my men pay for everything I bought. I just want to get out of here already and go home. I planned to stick around and stay at Musutafu a bit longer, but forget that! I wouldn't have bothered coming here if I knew this would happen! With so many things on the floor, moving around was annoying. Thankfully not impossible, though. The earthquake would have wrecked the building if it were a strong one. But besides the lights going out and things getting toppled over, the place looks fine. ...Wait, I just realized something. Are the trains going to be delayed because of the earthquake. Bollocks! Well, suck to be those henchmen still on the train if that's indeed the case. Still, that means I'll have to take the much slower taxi home. Ugh! 6:30 AM Why does it take forever for a bloody taxi to show up? Yes, we just had an earthquake, but still! Now I'm definitely not tipping! This is going to be a long ride home, isn't it? ...I just want to go to sleep. And cuddle with Meiko. WORDS 1000+ TAGS @tagged NOTES --- |
