Jack felt his heart pounding a bit rapidly as he entered Fort Slog for the first time ever. A specialized obstacle course that is supposed to give even Third Years trouble? The dragon boy would be lying if he said he wasn't at least a bit tense at the thought of that. He knew fully well this was going to be a challenge, but at least he wasn't going in at it alone. Graham and Karen stood by his side as the trio entered the obstacle course. Karen he trusted enough, as between the two of them, they were at the top of their class in terms of performance...if not their year. Plus, with her Quirk, she could easily navigate the course most likely...though given the fact that their teacher watched them all closely, he wouldn't be surprised if there were challenges specialized for all of them.
As for Graham, Jack trusted him well enough as well. Considering his control over carbon, he could prove to be a valuable ally in a sitaution like this. Overall, it was a good team, at least from Jack's perspective. He took a deep breath, letting a puff of steam emit from his mouth, trying to relax. He fiddled a bit with his gauntlets, which housed a bit of a special bit of tech for Jack's plasma, and then made sure his goggles were set correctly. He was still getting used to his improved senses, but at least now was a good opportunity to give them a test run for any major threats that may come their way.
He looked over at his teammates, smiling warmly at them as they entered. "I know Ms. Keiko said we can go full power here and all...but we should probably be careful despite that. We don't know what's all waiting for us in there, so we gotta have each other's backs, yeah?" he said, trying to give a bit of a mix between a pep-talk and a warning. As he said that, he would look forward, immediately surveying the area.
He frowned lightly as he took it all in. It looked like a building that was struck by a tornado...or maybe an earthquake. Or both. Either way, it looked like a disaster struck here. His body went still, trying to focus his senses. The area gave him a disaster movie or a zombie movie vibe...and that didn't really sit well with him. What was hiding beneath all the ruin here? Traps? Doombas? ...Dear God, please no more Doombas. While he respected Yojin's prowness with tech, he did not appreciate getting shot at by an air-soft gun wielding roomba. "Ok...how should we go about this? Go full power and keep our witts?" he asked Karen and Graham, wanting thier input on the situation.
Though, if either of them suggested that he was bait, someone's getting smacked with a tail.
