"I'm back."
A lone, abandoned warehouse on one of the many alleyways of Tokyo. It had been forgotten, run down, with nobody seeming to care for the place. Nobody, except for a small local gang. The Iron Maidens. These ladies were all misfits, outcasts to society. They had nobody except each other to rely on. Being on the run for various reasons, these hardened delinquents stuck together like family. They would move together, steal together, fight together. They had no one else. They had only each other.
One of their newest members had returned. Having promised to make a successful robbery and bring in all that sweet cash, she had returned with a sorrowful expression. But as she removed her backpack, that expression changed into a gleeful smile. Grinning, she opened her backpack, turned it upside down, and spilled its contents on the floor. The other members looked in surprise at just how much money came out. "Damn! You just got us enough to last a whole damn week!"
Of course, the girl was Miyami. Every girl here had a role to play as part of the Iron Maidens. Some acted as scouts, looking for the perfect places to strike. Others served as enforcers, making sure that other gangs kept a far enough distance from their turf (which considering how poor they all were, was pretty much just the warehouse and the immediate surrounding area). A few even acted as assassins, being the ones to get their hands dirty so the other Maidens would not need to. And finally, there was Miyami. Her role was that of a thief. Find a place to rob from, make a clean getaway, and provide the others with money, food, and other valuables.
"You did good, Silent Shadow. Real good. Now we can all enjoy something good for dinner besides fucking ramen!"
The other girls here all cheered loudly. Miyami did not really care that much about the attention. She was just doing what she needed to do to have a place to stay. Even if the warehouse was all dark, leaky, and run down, it was at least better than the streets. And with almost nothing she could call her own, Miyami had no choice but to steal for the Iron Maidens. Not that she minded all that much. These girls were alright.
"Yo, I say we all go out and fuckin' celebrate!" While the others cheered on at the suggestion, Miyami just shrugged. "Eh, I think I'll just stay here. Not really interested in much of outside. Besides, someone needs to stay behind to watch the place anyway. You all go have a fun time, alright?" Not that the girl had anything better to do, but she was not a fan of crowds. She would much rather just stay by herself. "Eh, if you say so. I'll bring you back something good tho, alright? Seriously, you deserve it." Miyami simply nodded. "Thanks."
And with that, the Iron Maidens began to head out one by one, going towards the couple of cars they had stolen. After peering out the window and seeing them all drive off, Miyami sighed as she walked over to her own corner of the warehouse. Seeing as the place was one giant room, nobody really had their own private room, instead choosing to sleep on their own section of the floor. Getting on her own mattress (stolen, of course), Miyami sighed as she stared blankly at the ceiling.
Got this place all to myself. There really was not much to do here. Though the girl considered taking a nap, it was no use. Fucking insomnia. What else was there to do here? After several minutes, Miyami was already bored. Maybe I should go outside. Just in case there's anyone around. It would suck for a random hobo to come in here expecting free sanctuary. But most of the time, nobody came here. And it was unlikely anyone but the Maidens would ever come here.
Right?
