APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
It's not a revolutionary statement to say that Caitlyn is only human in stature. Doted with five individually blinking eyes and six independent arms, along with fangs, enlarged hips and lavender skin, she much resembles a spider than a human, thanks to her quirk. On what is indeed human on her, although these can vary at any time in a manner as vain and superficial as what her personality can seem like, her clothing is usually based on a more "cutesy" style: her black "hair" styled into double pigtails, held together with little ribbons of varying colors. Due to the fact that her hair is actually silk, at any point, she can switch up hairstyles, lengths and volume as quickly as she desires.
For clothing, the young hero usually goes with a little jacket/dress, usually accompanied with a bloomer-like skirt that can give her large hips actual "breathing space". To cover her legs, the usual tried and true leggins are usually in place.
In terms of ornaments, it's anything she desires at the moment, really.

Personality:
At first, Caitlyn seems to be a very simple woman. She has needs, needs that at a first glance appear to be the needs that men assume every women wants, and needs to be filled. (Even if it is just a myth created by men themselves). She is a very... Flirtatious women. Caitlyn will always be using her sexual appeal, almost as if the switch to turn it off was ripped away from her body entirely. So, it is easy to see how one could assume that she would be a fan of sex. Caitlyn uses her sexual appeal to get what she wants, not understanding the word no and in the end, taking what she wants if needed. Material goods seem to be the only thing which interests Caitlyn, well, material goods and power. She wants power, no, she craves it. Power is her main need, the need which needs to be filled. And she will be willing to anything, or anyone, to get it. The one thing that might catch her attention more then obtaining power, are people who already have it. Of course, obtaining her attention by having power is not an accomplishment one should wish to achieve, for it means she will get close to them. Manipulate them. Use them.
Now, Caitlyn might seem like a horrible, conniving, manipulative, power hungry young women. However, she is actually nice. When her unsatisfied craving for power is not on her mind, she treats her friends with respect. her crew, the people she holds close to her over everything, are a group of people she will never double cross. She can not stand people who double cross, not can she stand people who turn their backs on their real friends. She has a set of morals, and although they are loose morals that are mostly not very well justified, she sticks with them all the way.

HISTORY
Her origins were mostly in mystery, and never questioned. Even asked about it, she dodges the questions. However, her acclaim to fame is one that she and all other can remember. She can recall using her silk to trip the man, using her spiders to assist in apprehending him. She had responded with the only audiory clue of someone yelling "help", to which she did everything to assist. She was a nobody, someone who had had but few friends and contacts. Instead she found herself praised and thanked by both police and the victim. She didn't know he was a murderer. She didn't know how violent he was. yet she stopped him, unharmed. The police wanted to arrest her for using her quirk, but with the new laws not yet set, they had excused her and awarded her for aiding them in catching their criminal. That was just how her life was. Just doing the right thing, in the right place, in the right time. She was no longer Caitlyn the traveling surgeon, she was something else. Something new.
"Wow, you're like a one man army," the officer had told her.
"What's who I'll be." Caitlyn thought to herself, "The Army of One."
She was barely an adult then, just having recently learned the taste of alcohol. She was a vigilante by almost every means. That was, until she had taken the exam to get her hero license. As she had good relations with the police, it was almost bias for them to accept her, to which when she was granted her licence, it was quickly revoked to reassess her scores. Caitlyn had gone quiet for this time, she had used her degree and medical knowledge to pursue a more normal life career, one that landed her at a coroner's office for the Ketsujo Corporation. Her colleges had either taken a liking to her presence, or left out of fear of spiders. She was never ashamed for how she locked, but embraced it, her spiders feeding on the discarded corpses that were no longer wanted. The bodies that didn't have a funeral. Everything was cleaned, and it was thanks to the former doctor, and her helpful spiders.
It was not long that she forgot about her hero license, eventually taking a four month trip away from Japan to head to Korea, the country for her pilgrimage visit to her religious homeland. She went to grant her offerings to the great god of Majinoki. With her time cut short, she was called back home by a friend, only to receive word that she was now officially a hero. A smile on the woman's face, she no longer had to act outside of the law to help others. She headed back home, and she was ready to make a difference.

________________________
Following the death of Leviathan, it was then that Caitlyn really processed how dangerous and frightening the world was. She alone, was the one to identify the body. She had processed the girl, and did all of the records correctly. But she dreaded the moment she needed to tell the girl's sister what had happened. Days passed. Weeks came. A month passed, and on the second, a video had been posted. She watched the video, over and over, until the girl's voice was embedded into her mind. But, when she snapped out of it, she realized she was far too late. She had waited, and it was this video that her sibling would find out. She made her way to her office to tell her, but listened to the same voice speak again, from the speakers within.
Caitlyn left a note, and she and her child had left to go back home to Korea the next day. She had arranged for the girl's body to be transported with her, buried in her homeland, next to their place of refuge. She offered a prayer, and she quietly retired her life as a hero... at least, for a little while.
She had learned that things were just as bad elsewhere as it was in Japan. While she tended graves, honoring her lost friend, someone who shared her heritage, she kept her status, fighting back crime in her homeland. She was a hero, though without a license. She was still praised, and that was enough to keep her happy, but even so, she was alone. All of her friends were so far away. She had lost touch, and refused to reach out. She felt less than all of them. Kenhin. G. Red Horn. All of those heroes fought the good fight, and she had gone back home the first chance she could.
But then her sister had arrived, and offered a hand to the mother. She was needed, and in half a year, had returned to Japan. She tried to fight back crime, but she found herself back at the hospital. Her licenses improved, but still, nothing more than an adviser. Caitlyn worked quietly, living in that strange girl's home, and making sure none would know of the failure she was.
She would never be good enough for the people to love her. She couldn't even save Leviathan
