"Mmm... if you're sure." In truth Mia wasn't quick to buy the lie. it wasn't like it was hard to see through afterall and Mia was pretty sure from the timing of when she'd become a bit more agitated before this was hardly a thing to do with just a poor sleep pattern. Still, Mia was far from the school counsellor, and as someone who's usual approach to emotional problems was typically 'suck it up and keep trucking along' she wasn't about to pretend to be anything else. If the kid wasn't up to being open about whatever was bothering them, she wasn't gonna push. "Just er... really, even if you wanna cut this class for a nap just lemme know. It ain't exactly mandatory." She'd joke a little, resting her cheek in her palm... she might learn quick that the teacher maybe shouldn't be making so many jokes.
Still, as the younger girl went on, it seemed that she was good on staying and asked if she could use Mia's quirk for her example, and the blonde Oni beamed brightly for a moment giving a firm nod. "Oh yeah! Absolutely! Tell ya what since we've been over here I'll do your quirk, and you can do mine." She reached over and gave her shoulder a light jab, expecting from earlier that the girl would have a firm stance and feeling the weight of her body back against her. "Come on don't want them thinking I'm giving you some sort of lecture just cause you were a bit tired. You got any questions before we step back up?"
She'd give the girl a moment or so to ask any questions about her quirk, but as she said before so long as it was clear she was being creative it didn't matter if it was something she could actually pull off with her quirk at the end of the day. She pulled up from the makeshift seat she'd made and moved back to the front of the class, arms folded and directing her voice to those in the bleachers.
"A'ight! How we lookin' kids. Everyone thing they got something to say?" SHe'd let them finish up their current conversations of course, make sure they all had some idea of what they were going to say. "Get out your last words and then I'll go first. Seems only fair given I'm forcing you all into this.~"

Inwardly, she sighed a sigh of relief; Kearney-sensei didn't press the matter, aside from an offer of a nap, which was... actually almost tempting. So much so that she considered it for a moment... staying up so late to study was putting a pressure on her head... but... no, no, as tempting as it was, it would be difficult at best to sleep in class, and not to mention would reflect on her poorly. She couldn't afford to look like she was slacking, even now. Michi bowed a moment after the offer, replying, "Thank you, but I'm fine," lying to herself as much as Mia.
Michi blinked at the gentle jab at her shoulder, Mia's light touch barely moving her, and, out of politeness, refrained from grimacing or brushing her shoulder off; as much as she didn't like to be touched, she accepted that some people will regardless, and a light touch like that was... tolerable. She preferred not to be touched period, but she was willing to put up with small things like that, since in the grand scheme, it wasn't something worth making a fuss about.
She almost didn't notice it, her attention so on her teacher, but when Kearney-sensei moved to return to the class, Michi's eyes managed to flick over to Yang, catching her signing just in time to see her words, and just three made her narrow her eyes, made her almost get angry again, made her very displeased. 'Activate your quirk'; as if that were even possible?! If it was, she would have turned it off a long time ago, and kept it off, too! ...But, she wasn't angry. Annoyed, perhaps, but she was in control of her emotions. All Yang got was a soft glare, which almost immediately relaxed as she calmly signed back four simple words.
'It is always on.'
She knew that Yang-san could hear, she simply preferred to sign rather than say it. She turned away, returning to her bleachers, thankful that they, like her desk, were reinforced, taking some comfort in the probable fact that unlike her desk, these were reinforced without her specifically in mind. It didn't help comfort her on the fact that she needed it, but she could take solace in that it was a general approach.
Beyond those two words, Michi said nothing, rubbing her eyes idly in a vain attempt to soothe them. Mia wanted a few more moments for everyone to speak, and she was fine with that. In truth, she wasn't feeling confident about her idea. For one, it probably wasn't Kearney-sensei's style; Michi didn't know her, but if she were to say her impression of her so far, her idea was too indirect, too unpredictable for Kearney's style. Of course, that was just a guess, it wasn't like she knew her.
But she was still familiar for some reason....

A ngel couldn't help but grin widely as Yang nodded to the idea of being friends and hanging out outside of class! This made Angel so happy that she raised her fist to the sky as if she had won some kind of big battle. What happened next was for the rest of the class to mingle and share their ideas with one another. Angel watched staying silent while sitting next to Yang as her new mute friend locked her eyes on Michi and began to sign. Out of relex Angel rather easily interpreted every single sign into their proper words so that everyone was on the same page. Yang's idea of Michi jumping from a high spot to cause major damage upon landing was quite the unique idea. Once she was done signing Angel lightly put her hand on Yang's shoulder for just a second. "That was a great idea Yang! I wouldn't sell yourself short! That would make a wonderful like tag team type attack if you had someone that could air drop her in somewhere like me for example. I did something similar with the third year student Risaka during the festival. It was quite effective."It seemed that Angel's job of interperting signs through speech wasn't exactly over yet as Michi signed back to Yang saying that her quirk was always on. It seemed that much like Angel's and their teacher's quirks they were mutations that couldn't be turned off. What Angel heard next from young Ms.Karen was an idea for her own wings that she truthfully hadn't thought about before! She could learn to use her feathers independently as an extra pair of hands to either deal damage or carry stuff! It was actually one of the coolest ideas that Angel had heard in terms of using her wings. This idea excited her enough that Angel with one quick leap jumped down to Karen and gave her a large grin. "That's actually a pretty rad idea! It would take some practice and I would have to learn how to keep focused on the smaller details of things. Be more of a scapal then a chainsaw. I totally dig it and will do my best to be able to pull that off! I would be able to pull off multiple small saves at once if I could figure that trick out!"Angel then gave Karen a pair of thumbs up and a nod before she heard Red Horn step up and ask them to finish off their current conversations because it was about time to share and so Angel just spread her wings and floated her way back to sitting at the top of the bleachers before resting her wings flat against her back once more as she waited for the next segment of the class to begin!

Yang Yang looked at Michi. She blinked. It never occurred to Yang that Michi’s quirk was always on. She tried to remember if they ever mentioned it at their tea part. But couldn’t come up with that discussion. She sighed slightly and felt a bit silly. This class seemed harder than it was. After other’s had went, Yang realized she wasn’t really imaginative at all. She knew she could do basic stuff with her blood but felt like she could do so much more.
That was because she could. Well not her per say but Red. Yang’s alternative persona that was locked away in Yang’s mental realm. When Red had control of the quirk she could weaponized it and make it cut through concrete. She could also control other people’s split blood. There were other things she wanted to test but she lost control of who she was when everything changed and this new person name “Yang” had appeared. Nothing has been the same since that fateful day.
Yang sighed but when she heard Angel praising her for her idea, it made her feel a bit better about her pitching it. It wasn’t too long before Ms. Red Horn told everyone to wrap their conversation before she said she would go first. First for what again…? Yang was a bit confused. What else could Ms. Red Horn have planned for the class? Yang was nervous but also excited. She was very grateful that she signed up for this class but wondered if she had enough time to recover?
Red sighed. "You know you could always give me control and I can do this for you~" she stated bored. It wasn't like this class was boring. Red got some pretty good information about using her quirk...er well their quirk. Since Red and Yang were the same person, it was technically their quirk.
Yang creased her brow. Why was her mental realm so active? However, it was a bit of a tempting idea to let Red have control but it would be almost a dramatic personality change. Yang wasn't sure if she was comfortable with that idea. Red didn't have trouble speaking and Yang would rather stay the mute person as long as she can. She had so much mental stuff to work out it wasn't even funny. If Red were to ruin that then it would almost force Yang to talk and she wasn't comfortable with the thought. She shuddered slightly and pushed her mental thoughts aside. It would be best if Yang just focused on Ms. Red Horn.

From the look of things it didn't seem like anyone was willing to think of a creative idea for her quirk. She wondered if she came off as intimidating during her introduction and demonstration. She wasn't really discouraged but she did feel rather unfortunate at being left out like that. Should she have given out more details? Was there not enough information to work with? Such thoughts preoccupied her mind until Angel came over to express how they thought her idea for the upperclassman's quirk was appreciated. She could be glad about that at least. Mia would ask how they were doing and if they all had something to share. Her peers in the class were mostly among themselves and she already got some semblance of approval from Angel so she was good for her part. She only wished there was more she could contribute. Honestly she felt that she was at a disadvantage that everyone else in the class seemed to be well-versed in sign language and for some reason continued to just use that to talk among themselves. It had been a while since the last time she felt a little lonely and left out communication-wise and she definitely didn't expect that from a class in school of all things. She took a deep breath. This was an unexpected challenge. Hopefully there will be more opportunities to get along better with her fellow students later on in the lesson.

Mia let everyone get their last words out with eachother before looking over them and getting a look for who was confident and who wasn’t. While Michi had seemed fine a moment ago, it seemed letting this girl sit with her thoughts at all wasn’t exactly beneficial for her as she was now seeming far less confident. Karen seemed REALLY displaced which… well, Mia had only interacted with her formally the once and it was a very official setting. Still she didn’t give off an air of someone who lacked confidence. She tried to catch any last hints of Yang’s sign language but… yeah. Without Angel translating she wasn’t good enough to keep up, especially when observing it from the side angle she was at. Angel seemed chipper as ever but… that was hardly surprising.
She’d meant to go first to get everyone a chance to see her make a fool of herself first but…
“Okay. Tell ya what, change of plans cause I’m apparently a teacher who wants you all to hate me by the end of the day.” She gave a casual shrug and a bit of a lax smile, not too worried about what they ended up thinking of her but wanting to see what she could do to make them get a bit more active and less sour faced about all this. “Michi, your up first again. I’m interested in what you got about me.”
She looked to the rest, and explained. “This is where I wanna hear at least one use you came up with for a fellow student’s quirk. Afterall I gotta make sure you weren’t just using it as an excuse for chit chat.~ You can use my quirk, your fellow students, and if someone already got mentioned that’s fine, just make sure you have a unique idea. And remember, it doesn't matter if this is something that they can actually do, or if they'd ever do it even if they can. Just show me your creativity.” She raised a hand and smirked. “As a trade off, since im making you all go before me, I will mention a benefit for all of your quirks. And I will use your weakness in every last one.”
With that, she folded her arms and stepped back, bowing her head. “Michi? Your up.” She lifted her head with a warm smile, and a bit of a wink, hoping it came off less 'creepy' and more 'you got this.'~ Afterall she'd seemed pretty eager a moment ago.

Eager wasn't a word that would easily describe Michi, nor her mood; easy was a far better idea. Maybe it was her passing interest in martial arts, but something about Red Horn felt... well, there was a familiarity with her, one she couldn't remember, nagging at the edge of her brain, but that wasn't it. Something about her felt... approachable. It felt like Mia's fighting style, which she had yet to see, would be somewhat similar to her's, it felt like their powers were, in a way, similar.
Was that it? Was that why the idea came to her so easily? Kearney-sensei did actually kind of remind her of the senior wrestler at the heya she once visited. She was calm, cool, and collected just like him, although his sense of humor was far more stoic. Thinking about it, Michi also noted that a lot of Kearney-sensei's jokes were at her own expense, while that wrestler tended to make fun of others. But, Michi shook those thoughts away; thinking about the heya made a twang of pain grip her heart every time.
Somehow, though, she got the feeling that her style was not quite like a sumo; Kearney-sensei spoke Japanese well, but she didn't bother to hide her American accent. If she had to guess, Mia's style was more about punching, maybe some American wrestling moves thrown in for good measure. But, that was an assumption... Michi didn't make assumptions, she didn't make guesses, she shouldn't even be thinking like that.
She paid attention Kearney-sensei as she addressed the group, and her wink towards her made her... feel something. An odd something she couldn't quite place; it felt like her heart got lighter for a second. It was an uncomfortable, alien feeling, and Michi opted to ignore it as she walked in front of the class, pointing at Mia.
"I couldn't think of much for anyone's quirks, but I had a thought for her's. I can only assume that her method of fighting involves hard, heavy hits, but if she lets herself shrink as she did, there is the possibility that she could confuse any opponents by shifting to a wildly different style, such as one that focused on kicks, or being light on her feet. A sudden shift of style at the right time could be a demoralizing tool."
Her idea finished, she bowed to the class, looking back at Mia, admittedly wondering what she thought of that idea before she finally returned to her seat, sitting carefully down.

A s Angel sat in the bleachers she listened with a confident grin as Ms.Red Horn said now that they had talked among themselves they were to share with the class the idea that they had come up with for the person they had chosen. She was then going to do the same for each student using one of their weaknesses as she did so! Once this was said Red Horn once called Michi up to the front of the class causing Angel to lean forward resting her chin in one of her hands her eyes showing great interest in what the quiet and shy looking student came up with for the their pro student. "Let's see what we have here. Hopefully it's something I can use in the future."Angel remained silent as Michi spoke both out of respect and because she didn't want to miss a single detail of what she came up with. Apparently the idea was a bit of a two fold one. Michi brought up the fact of how Red Horn had shrunk down earlier and suggested that their sensei could allow herself to shrink down in a fight to confuse her foes by going into a more light footed style focused more on kicks, foot work and agility instead of the heavy brawler style that she normally used. Angel deeply respected this idea in it's usefulness and creativity. As Michi sat down Angel just stood up on the bleachers and spread her wings. "Not bad!"Angel then without another word glided down from the bleachers over the other students and landed down next to Red Horn resting her wings flat against her back once more. She then looked toward Yang giving her a big friendly smile and a little happy wave before she cleared her throat before she spoke. "I chose Yang for this little exercise. I found her quirk to be super rad and unique, but hated to see that she had to injure herself in order to use it even if she can heal! I thought of the idea of her going to the support course or a support company and having a pair of small tanks that she could attach to herself that she could either fill manually with animal blood or fill via one or a pair of small puncture needles that she could not only fill the tanks with her own blood, but possibly cycle the blood in and out so that she doesn't use to much and make herself feel faint like you do when you give to much blood at a blood drive or get super injured! I also had the idea that with training maybe she could learn to harden her blood for the likes of shields or even wings like mine. Now that I'm talking about it out loud she could also harden it around her sword's blade to give it a sharp edge or use it to subdue her foes like it's a sort of amber like substance!"Angel as she finished bowed using her left wing as a cape before she used both wings to take to the air and glide back over to her spot on the bleachers before resting her wings on her back once more and sitting. She then knelt over to speak to Yang before she went down to share her turn! "No need to be nervous. I'll continue to translate for you the entire time! You totally got this!"

Yang Yang sat there bewildered. She honestly thought what she signed earlier was enough but did she have to get up in front of the class and repeat what she signed. But Yang got the cue from Michi earlier, this was not something she wanted to repeat since it made Michi feel that way.
Yang frantically looked for someone else to use. But again she felt lost for words. It wasn't until Angel said that she would translate for her did Yang slowly get out of her seated position. Angel had some very good ideas for Yang to try but that would have to be in the future.
Yang slowly but surely got up and walked towards Ms. Red Horn. Crap she had to figure out something and to figure it out now. Yang sighed and looked around the room again. "Um...originally I picked Michi but..." she signed nervously. Of course Angel translated but paused just as awkwardly as Yang signed. Yang was really bad at making up stuff on the spot. "But instead I am choosing...." she paused again and looked at each person individually. Most of the people in the class were commented on except...Karen. What was her quirk again?
There was an awkward silence as Yang thought about Karen's quirk. She used aura to make her fly but would have to wear little to no clothes for it to properly and it would cost her stealth. But what if she did it purposely to be a distraction so others could sneak in? Of course that would mean she would become the target but with her flight she could get far away fast enough right? Yang pondered that thought for a moment before finally signing something. "What if Kiersa used her Aura and Flight like a Firework show. It would become a necessary distraction" she finally signed. She then bowed slightly signalling that she was done and sat down to wait for the rest of the class to go.

There was a slight change in the order of presentation but to make up for it Mia was going to come up with ideas for all of them. It wasn't a bad trade-off in her opinion. She was rather curious about what a veteran hero might have to say about her quirk anyway. It was rare for her to get opinions on it otherwise. Michi was up first who thought of an idea for Mia. It was an interesting take to comment on the size changing aspect of the hero's quirk. It wasn't mentioned but there was a good chance that Mia did have a separate fighting style for when she had to engage in combat while not in a more bulked up state. Still Karen thought that it was pretty clever of the girl to catch this. Angel would go next and pretty much said what they had already shared with each other earlier. As for Yang, this time Karen would do her best to pay attention to Angel's translation. Much to her surprise, the girl would change to making a suggestion for her quirk. Perhaps they didn't want to offend Michi. Anyway given what she had demonstrated, it was a pretty logical suggestion. If you had no choice but to stand out, then you should try to stand out even more and create an opening for those who were more discrete. This would earn a soft clap from Karen as it was a pretty decent idea. When it was finally her turn, she headed to the front again before addressing her schoolmate. "The idea I thought of was for Angel-senpai. I noticed that she had excellent control of her wings and feathers and I figured that maybe with enough practice it would be possible to use them as an extra pair of arms and hands. She could pick up and carry things with them or incorporate them in martial arts. An extra pair of hands is always a good thing and gives her something to use them for if she ever finds herself grounded for any reason."As a fellow flyer, she had also thought long and hard about what else she could offer on the field if for some misfortune she was unable to make use of her talent of soaring to the skies. Well it wasn't perfect yet but she was pretty confident that a grounded Karen was not a useless Karen. Once she was done speaking she would return to her seat and give the floor back to Mia, eager to hear what the pro had to say.

Well that was a nice little set of outcomes. She felt some answered were a bit rushed maybe, a bit 'on the spot' so to speak but they definitely showed creativity for the most part. First up of course was Michi, who used the fact her size and power relied on her mood to devise the possibility that she could be able to adopt another fighting style to disorient her enemies… huh. She actually tipped her head back a bit in thought thinking about that, humming to herself as she considered it. At the end of the day there was no reason not to give it a go… and as strong as she could get the bigger she got, naturally the less easy to manuver her body and joints became… yeah. She brought her head down with a mildly impressed smile.
“Yeah… yeah!~ I like that. I might even have to drag you out of class again to see how it turns out.~ Might actually see if I can manage my temper enough to try and spar like that tonight! Nice one kid!~”
Next up was Angel, a little unfocused byt she was clearly quite passionate about the idea of displaying her ideas for someone else’s quirk which made Mia smile well enough. She lost track a bit but if she followed right ideas ranged from carrying spare forms of blood to use like animal blood, to creating a system that allowed her to re-inject her blood into her body so she didn’t feel woozy, and then something about increasing her potential damage output. Mia nodded along slowly again as she took in the ideas. As always she couldn’t tell if this was actually something Yang could do but she felt Angel showed some good ingenuity, especially with the re-inserting blood idea.
“Nice work angel, very nice.”
And next up Yang herself. A lot more brief and perhaps a little less inspired, but it still worked. Karen bursting out her aura as some means of distraction, to which Mia would try to add-
“Or heck a flare maybe? A lot of hero operations have you coming up against criminals who have ways to shut off your comms or cut you off from communications some other way? Sooooo we could assume that the groups cut off, it’s a dark night, Karen could organize some methods or shapes of expelling her aura to signal to her lost team mates a plan of action. I mean, theoretically of course.~”
Honestly she was really enjoying this. Coming up with uses for kids quirks was always something she liked to do when talking to fans when they gathered around her in crowds after a take down. Talking to a kid about how their ‘useless’ quirk was actually super badass was entirely different from this though. Here she really got a sense of what the kids thought of one another through their uses of one another’s quirk. Karen showed some strong ingenuity too, suggesting that Angel learn to use her limbs as something more akin to limbs, handling objects and the like perhaps or flowing them into a martial art.
“That definitely ain’t a bad approach. I mean correct me if I’m wrong Angel, but the joint in your wings, the highest point before they flow back down? Looks dense as hell. Could do you some good to test them and see how big a punch they pack!”
With everyone giving out their ideas, Mia took a slow breath, and clapped her hands together with a grin. “Well! Time I paid the piper. I promised I’d make you all an answer, and better yet, I’d incorporate what you told me was a weakness… so here I go.”
Clearing her throat, Mia decided to start with Angel.
“Angel, your deaf, but your hearing aids let you function. I’d suggest trying to train with them off, perhaps even blinded in some sense. I’ll never pretend the circumstances of your birth were a ‘gift’ in that respect but you have the benefit of being able to deafen yourself by choice. If a foe has a sound quirk, you can take off your aids and fight where your allies can’t. Or you can hone your senses of touch. I mean you’ve got a punch of fine feathers on your back, maybe you can work on making them some form of sensor or radar, figure out how to sense your environment from how the air brushes through them?”
Next up, Yang seemed a fair bet.
“Yang you said you get woozy from the blood loss, I don’t think you ever said you couldn’t use someone elses blood. Pretty simply why not cause some nicks and scrapes and start draining your opponents blood? Risky sure, but you got 3 years to study how much blood a person can lose before it’s dangerous, and so long as you have a way of putting it back in why not make ‘em pass out before healin’ ‘em right back up?”
Karen seemed like a good bet for next.
“Karen, your weakness is your aura is almost like a gas right? It gets trapped by things. Ever thought about seeing what happens if you condense it? Might not work but like, I’m picturing some kickass mega-man buster on your arm that pressurizes the aura your arm gives off, and then BAM, canon blast of aura right in someone’s face!”
And finally, Michi…. Mia was a bit cautious about this, but she lifted her head and held a strong smile. “Michi. Your weight is what you see as your weakness but it can easily be a strength. You’re set up to literally be an immovable object. Need to barricade a door so civilians can rush to freedom while you hold off the enemy. Done. Need to hold down a criminal while back up arrives? Done. I ain’t gonna pretend it’s all roses for ya but… it has it’s uses.” She gave a mildly casual shrug, and a soft smile as she offered the idea, taking a slow breath to calm herself.
“Right. How’s everyone feelin? Don’t go telling everyone if they were right or wrong about what your quirk can do, we’re here to be creative… but did anyone learn anything? Did anyone feel unsure about the class? I mean this is my first time doing this so feel free to tell me if I’m just doing shit!~”

"...Mmmm......" was Michi's only reply, her lips curling into a slight grimace as she looked away. On the one hand, she was glad that her idea wasn't dumb to the teacher, but on the other, she didn't feel like taking anyone up on any sparring, much less Kearney-sensei. It wasn't something that sounded fun in the least; hitting each other wasn't her idea of a good time, and aside from that, learning how to fight didn't feel like a good use of her time. She wasn't planning on being a hero, she was just here for the education, and frankly, she thought that anyone that thought sparring was fun had some priorities they needed to sort....
She bowed her head to Kearney-sensei, and moved aside, back to her seat, sitting oh-so-carefully in it as their teacher gave her impressions of ideas. The ideas were interesting, but she didn't plan on committing them to memory; since this was an exercise more than a lesson, there was no need to really worry about that sort of thing, not that she would normally anyway. Same went for Mia's own suggestions, though in that case, it was slightly more interesting; these suggestions were coming from someone experienced, someone that actually knew what they were talking about. And, there was a noticeable difference between her suggestions and their's... it was almost palpable... though Michi wasn't particularly interested, even if she was admittedly impressed.
Instead, she was dreading what was coming. One by one, Red Horn gave her own opinion for each and everyone's quirks, and she made good on the promise that each one would incorporate a weakness. Every single one got her closer to her, and she was apparently saved for last, for whatever reason. She closed her eyes, suppressing a grimace; there was no way she could avoid it, so she would have to hear one of her least favorite topics. Her weight.
And, well... Mia's idea was something she had already thought of, albeit in different context. She didn't imagine it in quite the same way as Mia, but... immovability wasn't just an idea, it was a way of life. If she wasn't a girl, she could have had a future as a sumo wrestler, a sport where the main strategy was being immovable. Still, though, the idea was... not something she thought of... it wasn't wrong, either... it'd be easy to hold a criminal down, or stand in front of a door, that much she could do, though she still didn't like the idea of it, of needing to, of wanting to... she just wasn't hero material...
Why was she here again?
Michi looked up at Kearney-sensei when she ended her suggestions, bowing her head. She made it seem like it was in thanks, but she said nothing. She was distracted with new thoughts, one question bubbling up to the surface slowly. It was something that every single person here had in common, except her, something that each of them probably had an answer to. As the question rose up in her mind, she stared into space, narrowing her eyes at the question.

A s Yang began to once again sign Angel instantly began to interoperate verbally for the crowd having really begun getting Yang's "voice" and "tone" down if she said so herself. She watched and interoperated that Yang originally chose Michi, but decided to go with Karen and signed the idea that if Karen used her aura and flight as a distraction it would be useful. This was quite the nice of idea and so Angel nodded once Yang was done and sitting giving her a thumbs up. "That's a pretty creative idea! Good Job Yang! "i'm sure the others are impressed with your idea!"Next up was Karen and oh boy did Angel like her idea for her! Karen suggested that Angel herself that she may be able to use her wings as another pair of hands or individually control her feathers. It was something that sounded like Angel needed to begin working on as soon as possible especially the part about using her wings in martial arts if she couldn't get air bound! This caused Angel to actually clap excitedly as Karen took her seat before beaming over toward her with her usual large grin. "You and I totally need to train that idea later!"It all did seem to excite Red Horn quite a bit of what her students came up with. The first she commented on was Michi saying that she appreciated about using her own temper lessening to help her in battle. Next Red Horn commented on Angel's own ideas though it made Angel pout slightly as she only got a "Nice work" despite the deep details she put into her idea. Angel thought her ideas were brilliant and so to see everyone else get deeper comments and not her bummed her out a bit. "Thanks really I appriciate it"Angel then went silent as she moved onto Yang's suggestion for Karen even suggesting a flare like trick for the young girl going into quite the detail about it. Next it was time for their teacher to comment on Karen's idea for Angel herself which actually managed to get an actual reaction and question toward her out of Red Horn as she asked how thick her joint bones were and asked if she could train that up to see how big of a punch they pack. To this Angel shook her head. "While that's a clever idea Ms.Red Horn my wing bones are like a birds. My wings may look large thanks to the feathers and the size of the bones, but the bones themselves are hollow and could be snapped if i'm not careful. I need to train my endurance to see if it's possible to make the bones stronger first. They have to be hollow and light so I can fly."Red Horn then said that she was going to explain how they could use their weaknesses as strengths. Her teacher decided to start with her explaining that since she was naturally deaf she could simply protect herself from sound based attacks just by removing or turning off her hearing aids. She then suggested trying to train her feathers to become some kind of radar for when she's deaf. "That's a smart idea I'll give it a try when given the chance. Maybe my Ex Farrah wants to yell at me a little."Angel giggled at her joke before going silent as Red Horn offered ideas about Yang using her foes blood and Karen channeling her aura as blasts and that Michi use herself and her weight as a barricade To this Angel just nodded silently as she listened intently. Red Horn then asked how everyone was feeling and to this Angel just gave a smile and a thumbs up as she had a lot to think about. "You did alright ma'me. Maybe next time in class we can put what we spoke about in practice for examples."

Yang
This class was definitely interesting. Over time Angel had adapted to what Yang's mannerisms. Or at least the surface Yang anyways. There was another piece of her hidden away in her mental realm. A piece that Yang wasn't sure how to control it... well her. It was another personality of Yang that constantly wanted out. Why? Yang wasn't still completely sure but she has named this other personality as Red. Red was so different than Yang. She had already accepted her past and moved on like if it was nothing. Yang just couldn't do that and it limited her severally. She wasn't able to control her quirk whenever she was emotional however Red could and she could do it with ease. She was also able to be creative with the quirk, something that Yang couldn't do. That was why she signed up for this class that she probably should be paying attention to.
Yang sighed softly and realized Ms. Red Horn was speaking. She had suggestions for everyone's quirk. As well as making comments about everyone else who attempted to be creative. However Yang had shuddered at the mention of her own quirk. Even though it stemmed off of Angel's idea to have vessels of blood, this one was a bit more disturbing to her at least. Ms. Red Horn had suggested using other people's blood. It wasn't like she couldn't. It was more of the matter of what happened last time she attempted to use someone else blood.
It was the day she discovered she had a quirk. It was also the day her sister died on the operation table. Things happened so quickly that it left Yang disorientated for days. She couldn't remember much of what happened but she knew she was in the care of the person she now calls father. Even though Ms. Red Horn's idea was solid, it made Yang visibly sick. All Yang could do was see the last time her quirk was used with another person's blood. She shuddered again as she tempted to get a grasp on reality. It wasn't long before she calmed down but she definitely didn't want that to be brought up again and desperately hoped that there was something else to do in this class demonstration for her to forget the awful memories.

If she had to be honest, Mia's suggestion for her quirk was not the first nor the last time that someone would suggest trying to mold her aura into some sort of weapon after hearing about it for the first time. And she couldn't fault people for it. Even newbies in the research department of the company would often throw a comment like that occasionally. Well, the short answer was no, that just wasn't how her aura worked. It made her wonder if calling it an aura was a misconception. After all her alleged 'aura' was mostly a visual cue of her quick at work than her actual ability itself. Still the fact that more than a handful of people make those assumptions about her was something she could probably use itself. Information and misinformation was also a nifty tool to take advantage of. Anyway Mia herself said not to call out and correct people so she would just comment on the lesson itself. The veteran did admit being new to this, but Karen appreciated the novelty of the idea. It was definitely the kind of helpful class for those who were still unsure of themselves or had issues about their quirks. "I think you're doing a fine job sensei. If I had to say, it's a little rough and informal but the idea gets across. With a bit of tweaking, I'm sure this is something worth hosting regularly, especially for younger students."
"I believe sharing all these ideas and creativity also help with boosting confidence. Speaking in general, more than a few people are unsure and have their insecurities about their quirks, and expanding their horizons on what they can achieve with them is a huge step towards building up more belief in themselves."
"I guess what I mean to say is, I'd totally invite a few friends to the next sessions if you would be holding them again~"And if the pro hero needed any assistance with organizing things and giving the class better direction, then this was Karen's way of letting them know that she would be up to volunteer.
