Desmoshi whistled happily as he was mopping the hallways of UA after school. A lot good things had been happening to him lately. He was in a good school. His grades had been improving. He even elected for class president of 2-A. But despite all that, Desmoshi understood the meaning to help others where help was needed. Which is why he elected to help the janitor mop the hallways of UA. It always felt good to do something... good. It was just the type of person he was.
The janitor was definetly surprise to be ask if Desmoshi could lend a helping hand. Desmoshi wanted to be an example to the school- that no one was above someone else. Everyone had to work together in unity in order to succeed. So if he had to pick up trash or clean a bathroom or two to make it happen, then so be it. Just because he had title didn't make him more or less special. Everyone here at UA had an important job, no matter how small the task was.
'You know, kid,' Ame said in his mind. 'I'm surprised by you. Why are you even doing this?' 'Because I want to be a good example for everyone here,' Desmoshi replied to his inner self. 'I have been staying logged into the chats as of late and I have seen a lot of issues between students.' He dipped the mop in the bucket and wringed it out to get the excess water out. 'Plus, the issues has started spreading to other new students and even to some of the other teachers. I can't say I want to change the world if I don't start somewhere.' Maybe mopping the halls was not the ideal way of getting everyone to cooperate, but it was a start.

It was a pleasant day at the hero academy, a day one would easily be able to describe as a day full of adventure and excitement. However, after the lectures Primula often found herself wandering around the school building, and on this particular day she had chosen to search the main building's hallways for anyone who might had been interesting for her to interact with. The first signs that hinted at such an individual were the whispers she heard of some students saying a boy was excitedly mopping around the hallways near the classroom of 2A, and so Primula had chosen to do what a Primula liked to do most: find this interesting person! Wandering along the hallways the girl soon peeked around the corner, seemingly having found the query she had been chasing down.
What a curious sight. To see a student of the hero course seemingly busily, and quite enthusiastically shrubbing one of the hallways. Of course, such a peculiar sight would catch the curious child her attention, and indeed as Desmonshi dipped the mop in the bucket, something stirred in the corner of the room. A small streak of green was visible, first just the child's noticeable hairstyle, then the face of the girl peeked around the corner, mismatched eyes peeking straight at the unfamiliar student "..." Although as he continued the shrubbing soft footsteps approached him, and right when he dipped the mop in the bucket, the girl was right in front of him, slightly tilting her body to the side, her head tilted slightly as she spoke softly. "Umm..."
A momentary pause followed as she looked up at Demonshi and inquired with a soft smile. "Are you being bullied? Did someone force you to do that?" A sudden shimmer emerged beside the girl as the purple-haired guardian of the child mused softly. "I don't think he is being forced to do this by anyone, if my guess is correct this is a volunteering act." The words spoken by her companion only made things even more confusing as Primula looked up at Demoshi. "Volume... reeling? Is he being noisy?" Shielder merely smiled and corrected the child. "Volunteering, and I wouldn't be surprised if the young man has a reason behind doing this."
Primula looked back at the teenager, smiling as innocently as usual. "Tell me! Why are you doing this?" Exclaiming excitedly the child's inquiry made Shielder muse in amusement. "Master, did you not forget something?" The reminder made Primula's body jolt lightly, her lips curving up into a grin as she stated happily. "My name is Primula! Primula Chernova! I am a ummm... student of Serpy-nii's class! Two.... Support!"
Satisfied with her introduction, Primula happily bounced from side to side on the ball of her heels, clearly as energetic and innocent as ever. However, Shielder bowed lightly in a more polite greeting. "I am Amaterasu, a pleasure to meet you young hero in training."
It appeared Desmoshi would have his hands full with this curious child!

Kiersa stretched her arms before rubbing her eyes. She'd been spending the better part of her free time in the library studying the differences between types of light, trying to figure out how the light aspect of her Quirk worked better... It was such an expansive subject matter however and the blonde didn't feel like she was getting any closer to any kind of answer. All it had confirmed for her was what she already knew it wasn't. As she entered the main hall of the school though she spotted something curious.
One of the older male students working on cleaning the floor and a pair of girls, one with green hair, the other was purple. With this sight in front of her, Kiersa made her way over towards the gathering. "Umm... sorry, but do you need a hand cleaning sir?" she asked, since he was the one holding the mop after all. She gave a polite bow of her head towards the ensemble. "My name is Kiersa Bec, Class One B. It's a pleasure to meet each of you." said Kiersa, giving a curtsy as she finished introducing herself.
She couldn't help but look at the work that the boy had done so far and went into maid-mode a little. "Umm... have you been using the mop in a back and forth motion, or swirling if I may ask? With or without the brush prior to mopping?" the blonde asked before realising that she might have been a little too analytical in her tone and bowed her head once more. "S-Sorry! Sorry about that... I u-used to be a maid b-before enrolling so I, th-that is to say umm... Sorry again!" Kiersa explained whilst apologising.

Post by Danica Tem'Naka on Apr 13, 2020 10:55:38 GMT -4
Being a week and a few days late to start her semester, Danica didn’t have the luxury of going to an orientation, nor had she found anyone to give her a tour about the Campus. After the day of unpacking her belongings she was now out of a mission to Scout out her classes, making sure she knew where she was going when she needed to head to them, how long it would take to walk them and where an optimum Area to take breaks at, if the gap between classes permitted.
She rounded the corner as she noticed a bit of wet floor, thinking nothing of it thought she continued to round the corner only to see a young man mopping the floors and three girls talking with him. Instantly she realized she was spoiling the boys hard work. “Oh, Pardon me, I’m sorry to interrupt, but is this hall way closed ? I can wait till an area dries if that’s preferable, but I was hoping to find the Gym” she said stopping on a Dry patch behind the boy with the mop.
Realizing she was in the middle of their conversation she looked about the hallway, keeping her eyes on anything other then the people in the hall, mostly due to the Awkwardness of the situation. One of the girls seemed to be either showing him hoe to mop, or was being shown to mop, something was mentioned about being a maid, and Danica couldn’t help but look their way again despite trying not to interrupt to heavily.
Having came from the direction that had already been Cleaned Danica could see that the hallway looked Visibly Cleaner where he had gotten to, which was sort of nice, it seemed like hard work but perhaps it was some sort of arrangement she shouldn’t interfere in, and because of that alone she wouldn’t offer to help, not to mention she had to find the gym so she could figure out her route to her Physics class right after.

One moment, Desmoshi was wringing his mop. The next, green-haired girl with purple-haired one came asking him a ton of questions. Through all the questions he was being hammered with, he was able to their names. The purple haired one was Amaterasu (funny, his inner self was named Amaterasu) and the green haired girl was named Primula Chernova. Desmoshi had never really seen her before, mostly due to him being at the school for only a couple of months. But her last name sounded familiar...
Before Desmoshi could answer her, another blonde hair girl came out of nowhere, wondering if he needed help with anything. Her name was Kiersa, and she stated that she was from Class 1-B. Nice! A first year! He just got done showing the first years around a couple of days ago. Desmoshi wasn't prepared for the many question about his "mop technique" however. But other than that, she was really quite friendly. "Well nice to meet you," Desmoshi started. "My name is..."
Again his introduction was cut short by another person coming through the hallways. This girl had long black hair and was looking for the gym. However, she did not want to mess up the work Desmoshi got done with so far. 'Well, kid,' Ame said in his mind with a chuckle, 'looks like got your work cut out for you.' Desmoshi had to admit. He didn't expect this many people. 'No worries,' he replied to his inner spirit.
Desmoshi cleared his throat and put on a smile. "I am Desmoshi Haymaker, class president of 2-A. I didn't think anyone was coming down these halls. But it's nice to have company." He turn to Primula first. "I volunteered for this so the janitor could get a day off. Plus its nice to do something for the school." Next he turned to Kiersa. "As far as mop techniques, no I am not familiar with them. I was just helping out. If you want to, there is an extra mop and I'll be sure to let your homeroom teacher know you helped out." Last but not least, he answered the black-haired girl's question. "I can help you find the gym. Actually, you heading down the right hallway. If you like I can show you, but I have to mop the floor at the same time to keep on schedule. Just follow me as I mop."
Then he addressed all at the same time. "If you like you guys can walk with me towards the gym area and help if you like." He pointed to the janitor trolley, a giant bucket containing three mops. "Just grab a mop and follow me. And if you don't you can just walk along. Either one is fine."

Primula tilted her head slightly to the side in bewilderment to Desmoshi's words. "But it's a school day, of course, people will walk along the school building then~ If you wanted to avoid that then maybe you should have come during the weekend~" The girl smiled briefly and yet when Desmoshi explained he volunteered to do it because he wanted to give the janitor some free time and do something nice for the school, Primula mused softly in return. "So you as a Janitor sponsor, like Sonya-mama is a sponsor for the school..." Primula mused softly, quite intrigued by the idea.
However, the girl's attention was soon drawn to the arrival of Kiersa who in the wake of her analytic overview of Desmoshi's cleaning revealed she had been a maid prior to her enrollment into the hero academy. "A maid..." Ting... ting... ting! "Is that a popular hobby nowadays?" Seemingly bewildered by the concept the girl's thoughts only went even wilder as she mused out loud. "I know Sonya-mama likes cute maids, but I never heard of a maid before..." Her mismatched eyes gazing at Kiersa the girl hummed happily in response. "I guess a Hero Maid sounds pretty cool!" Looking up at Shielder as if she expected to be praised for the compliment, the purple-haired lass sighed softly in amusement, yet it seemed Desmoshi had a talent for gathering a crowd as a third girl joined in on the conversation.
Still, it seemed Desmoshi had made quite a dangerous error in his suggesting of Primula's assistance in the cleaning, and Shielder seemed to realize very quickly why the child's eyes were wandering to the mops in the bucket. "No Master, you can't go en enchant mops to start cleaning on their own, remember when your classmate scolded you for using your quirk last time?"
Primula couldn't help but pout in protest as instead Shielder grasped one of the mops and seemingly made an error in her own strategy, for Primula's muttering seemed to be a prologue of something. "Then again, I wonder how you would look in a maid outfit..."
As if on cue the clothes of the purple-haired lass seemed to become engulfed in a bright flash of light, and moments later she found herself in a forced wardrobe change! "M-Master, I don't really think this school requires maids to assist the janitor..." And it seemed the girl wasn't done yet, for she spun around to look at Kiersa, Desmoshi and Danica, the twinkle in her eyes showing a childish glee and excitement, that if they didn't distract her quickly enough, might lead to them becoming the victim of some phantasms!

Kiersa bowed her head as Desmoshi introduced himself. "Pleasure to meet you Mister Haymaker-senpai." When he made the offer for her to help out with the floor mopping, the blonde former maid couldn't help but accept as she made her way over to collect one of the mops for herself. The new girl was asking for directions to the gym, which the 2-A Class President had under control, so she began to focus on going over the parts of the floor that he'd missed earlier in this current section.
When Primula asked if being a maid was a hobby, Kiersa shook her head. "Not that I'm aware of Miss. And, it wasn't a hobby. I was genuinely employed as a maid by the Owakasa family, along with my mother." she said as she bowed her head towards the green haired girl, her tone taking on more professional mannerisms as she was now in her original element. When the notion of being a Hero Maid came up, this caused Kiersa to blink for a moment as she began to imagine what that would even look like, outfit wise at the least.
However her contemplation wasn't to last for very long as the purple haired girl first of all referred to Primula as "Master" and mentioned enchanting the mops? "Umm... d-did I hear that correctly?" Kiersa asked, blinking as the purple-haired girl was suddenly transformed from her original attire into a maid's uniform. Apparently by Primula's will if she understood the conversation correctly.
"Oh... wow..." she said, looking between the two girls in absolute awe. "S-Sorry Miss Senpai, but umm... your Quirk let's you make anything you can think of, just... happen?" Kiersa asked, trying to wrap her head around the possibilities of such an ability. As well as all the crushing responsibility and self-control that must require to maintain it. The willpower alone to make sure that it didn't trigger with any stray thought that pops into her head... It was absolutely awe-inspiring. She could definitely learn a lot from her.

Danica looked at the group and then to the buckets as she was told she could help. It wasn’t something she thought she was above, but the jetlag she was still suffering with made it hard to want to waste energy on something like that. Though he was busy and was still attempting to be helpful, so it only seemed fair that she helped.
Though not sure how to go about engaging with the other three girls, Danica would move a little closer to the group being carful not to step on the wet section of the floor on her way over to the mops. “ i can help for a bit, but ill have to leave soon, I’m just getting a route between classes” she admitted going for one of the mops, but stopped as she watched the girl near her suddenly change outfits, but not naturally of course, almost like magic.
Danica’s eyes widened a bit as she looked at the girl now in the maid outfit. Maybe it was just Danica projecting her own concerns but it seemed the girl didn’t like that it had happened. The girl called the other one master, which was an odd thing on its own, but being new she did not say anything non behalf of the girl who was forcefully changed into a maid outfit. The other girl with blond hair seemed rather pleasant though, having caught a bit of the conversation she seemed to want to help, but the look from the green haired girl was enough for Danica to take a step back as she caught the gleeful smile, something about it fired off metal red flags. Danica however was not one to shy away when things got tough.
Taking the mop by the handle she pulled it from the mop and looked at the other girls, figuring they might follow suit before turning back towards Desmond. Who was president or something along those lines? It wasn’t that Danica didn’t care but being new and getting a bit overwhelmed with information made it hard to follow how things were going. Danica planted the mop to the floor and gave a side eyed glare towards the green haired woman, almost as if to say ~like a try me~

Desmoshi was happy to meet this many students. He couldn't believe how many different people go to this school, and they all came from different walks of life. It was a step up from his older schools. Even people who were confused at the concepts of mopping a hall. "Well, the janitor has to do this every day after school," Desmoshi replied to Primula's comment. "Sometimes is nice to help others who put a lot of hard work into making the school a better place." It felt good for him to give others a helping every once in a while. Maybe can one day work together in harmony.
He found it interesting that Kiera was a maid before she came to UA. "I never hear Okawasa family," Desmoshi said to Kiersa response. "They must be really nice people. Although I never heard of someone so young being a maid. Is that like some type of special training you had to do to have the position or is it a family thing?" It was nice that she helped her mom. Not many people cared about there parents nowadays to help them out in tough positions.
Desmoshi heard Danica would help with the cleaning process. "Cool," Desmoshi responded with a smile. "And while we are at we can get to know each other and-." Before Desmoshi could finish his sentence, Primula had somehow changed the Ameterasu's clothing into a maid's outfit! Oh, crap! Her quirk actually allows doing anything she imagines! Primula was staring down the other three students with a smile on her face. At the same time, Danica had a glare that said 'I will put you down if you do it.' To calm any more shenanigans, Desmoshi spoke up. "Primula, as much as enchanting the mops or whatever else you are planning would be helpful, as a class rep, I would ask that you refrain from using your quirk here. The teachers kind of don't like that."

Kiersa shrugged her shoulders when Desmoshi remarked about not having heard of the Owakasa's before. "They're a banking family, that is to say they own a few banks across Japan. Nothing large, but enough to be considered as such." she explained. "A-And they are quite nice..." the young blonde said, rubbing the ring on her finger absently. "There was no special training. I wanted to help my mother and the Owakasa's were happy enough to employ me as the maid and playmate for their children who were the same age as myself." she explained, keeping out certain familial details for the time being.
The notion of being a Hero Maid though that Primula had posited was an... interesting one. At least in terms of the outfit and hero name situation. Kiersa had yet to settle on a name for when she graduated, and her current hero uniform for school practice looked more medical than anything else. "A hero maid, maid hero... maiden heroes..." the blonde teen mused, looking at the purple girls conjured maid attire. The way that Primula's Quirk worked through sheer imagination, it put her in mind of it being on par with... well, a gods.
That clicked with something she'd heard a long time ago. Kiersa's eyes widened as she recalled the story that her mind was making the connections to. She turned her focus directly towards Primula and bowed deeply. "Thank you Miss-Senpai. I-I think y-you've just helped me figure out a problem I'd been h-having in regards to my hero studies." Kiersa said, finishing her bow and smiling brightly towards Primula.

She couldn’t Fault the logic of the Desmoshi, if they were to help it only helped the school, and the school was quite big, at least comparatively to the school in Canada, were she had done her first year.
Once she had the mop in hand it appeared as if the girl she glared wasn’t going to attempt anything for now, Danica would Dunk the mop into the bucket and ring it out before going back to the tracks she had made when moving through the wet floors. Mopping her of foot steps away before returning towards the group, She felt out of place still, and their conversation with Maid/maiden heroes and banking families made little sense to her.
Danica kept her head down for the first little bit but Silently told herself she had to let people in if she wanted to make friends, or at least have an attempt at friends. She took what she knew about them and started to profile a bit about that, trying to figure out a bit about them based on how they were acting. Demoshi seemed like a good natured person, seeing as he was helping with a janitor, someone most people would just brush by and forget existed, it was a noble act but it seemed unnecessary to have to take over for the day, which spoke for his common sense. But perhaps Japan was different in that sense, she did not really know. Being the class president meant he was going places, had a drive and seemed like he was in a direction he enjoyed. Or at least that’s how she understood it.
The Green hair girl( Prisma) seemed sweet and innocent with a sinister streak, and the whole master over the other girl (Amasterasu) seemed wrong, but she knew nothing of her other then the fact she didn’t like the idea of suddenly being Redressed into an outfit out of nowhere on a whim because she felt like it, and she didn’t think she would get into a Fight on her first day but she would shut down what she had to.
The other girl she hadn’t quite caught their name either, but she seemed helpful but like things done properly, someone Danica could see herself talking to again. It seemed her family was servants to another family, Which would explain the mild manners and Radiant aura of properness, but Danica found herself aliening more so with her then the other girl.
“So, What studies are you majoring?” she asked attempting to push the conversation towards a thing they all might have in common, other then helping clean up the floors.

It seemed that Primula would not be pulling any tricks anytime soon. However, after that small commotion, the group kind of fell a little silent for a while. Desmoshi tried his best to never force the conversation if they didn't want to. Despite him being the loudest between him and Mizuki, he was considerate. Some people love to talk about everything and the sun, like him. But there were times where people just wanted to work in silence and chill, which he could also respect. The main goal for him was making people happy, even it seemed like he was people-pleasing. He just liked to see people happy.
"I am studying to be a frontline combatant," Demsoshi replied to Danica's question. "I wanted to be someone who could protect people and bring them closer together. So I thought that being a frontline hero would be a way to go." He couldn't say the other reason why he wanted to be a frontline hero. 'Mostly because I want to be like my dad,' Desmoshi thought to himself. 'You should learn to be yourself kid,' Ame said in the crevices of his mind. 'It's not bad to forge your own path and do things your way.' This gave Desmoshi some thought.

The topic of conversation changed over towards their studies here at school, with the idea of what they're aiming to achieve as heroes judging from Desmoshi's response. "W-Well... I'm t-trying to s-study to be a f-first response t-type of hero." Kiersa began to explain to the group.
"M-My Quirk lets me h-heal people a-and make light... a-and since heroes t-tend to arrive on the s-scene first a-and are a-allowed to u-use their powers, a first r-responder type seemed the b-best fit." the young blonde surmised, opting to just keep the story to the less personal details and reasons behind her being here at UA. She resumed her mopping of her self-assigned section of the floor as she contemplated the situation.
Everyone else here that she'd met seemed to have a much better reason than hers for wanting to be a hero, like Desmoshi who wanted to be a community pillar type of figure... Or at least licensed to use their Quirks in public without legal repercussions. Kiersa rubbed at the silver band on her ring finger absent-mindedly as she considered this, before shaking her head and smacking herself in the cheeks in order to bring herself back into focus.
"I..." she began to say, taking in a slow breath. "I'm n-not that used to t-talking about m-myself yet. S-Sorry." the young blonde apologised, bowing her head to the group.

Danica listened to Desmoshi’s response, it wasn’t to out of the ordinary to her, most people liked the idea of being in the spot light, and a front liner often got to see that spot light, at least his intentions were of a better nature and Danica nodded responsibly satisfied with the answer.
Her mop slowed down into the floor with a wet slap as she shifted it from left to right in a wave like motion, letting the edges of the mop hit the sides of the wall, before she heard Kieran start her answer to the question. She seemed very nervous for someone wanting to be a hero, but it wasn’t the oddest drawback she had seen yet, and if someone was determined to be a hero who was she to look down on her.
For someone as lost on her journey through light, Danica knew where she stood most often even if that place was spiraling through the cosmos, she still had a year to figure out more about what she wanted from life. The small of awkward silence, when Danica wasn’t sure if Kieran was going to continue talking or if she was finished up passed, and Danica dunked her mop head into the bucket as she stopped to ring it out. Kieran apologized, for not being comfortable which made her eyebrow twitch. The uncertainty was one thing but if someone didn’t say it then she would go her life thinking she was an problem. “ don’t apologize to us, its yourself your failing. Self reflection is important, articulating that into a concise sentence isn’t easy either so you have to give yourself some slack your, besides doing fine. “ Danica said her mouth forming a smile towards the end of her senescence, her first little bit seemed aggressive and assertive, but she really did have the best of intentions even if she wasn’t the best at wording it.
She would place the mop head against the floor again as she walked back towards her spot of the hall, leaving a little bit of time for Prisma to speak if she wanted, but the silence told her that it was likely best if she talked about herself. “ im specializing in search and rescue myself, thought i don’t feel limited to just that, i feel like having the utility to be a frontline, or a first response it very important and i would hate to be helpless in the situation if i was the first to arrive. I feel its far more dangerous to specialize to hard into one area or another. “ she would say confidently punctuation the end of her speech with the slap of the mop head against the tile floor as she picked it up and dragged it over to the next spot and let it fall with all its weight to the floor and then mopping again.

Desmoshi listened to the responses of his companions as he mopped the floors. Left to right, just like his mother taught him. Who knew this would come in handy? But even so, he knew this wasn't going to be enough to change things. To be honest, he was only doing this to be nice and see it was like to be on the other side of things. But the responses that the girls gave got him thinking.
One, Mizuki's situation came to mind and her involvement with the Redhorn incident. She was put in a situation where she had to step up to the plate and help others. But when she messed things up, she said she froze and felt like she was out of place with everything. She felt like for the first time, her not knowing why she wanted to be a hero hit home. But Desmoshi was sure she would find her way. She just had to be more open. Then there was the issue with the riot. Desmoshi didn't know what he would do about Ikari. He was angry and upset, he could tell that much. But now he was out there, still on the loose with no clue on where he was.
But Desmoshi put the thoughts to the back of his mind as he continued to talk to his classmates. "Danica is right," Desmoshi said with a smile. "Maybe there are other areas we could focus in to make us a little bit better in a situation. Well, internships are coming up. Maybe we could learn something new from the teachers, especially with everything that has been going down."
