Another day, another argument in UA chat. To be frank, Miyu was sick and tired of it. She’d long since set her phone to stop sending her notifications for new messages, as every time she’d look it would just be the same two people spitting venom at each other for, as far as she could see, little to no reason, and from little to no provocation.
Airi was… difficult. She certainly wasn’t the nicest person, and Miyu couldn’t say she’d spent much time with the other girl, but she also couldn’t say she hated her. While they had their disagreements, Miyu actually considered her a friend at least. It seemed to her that Airi’s abrasiveness came at least in part from inexperience with socializing, and she couldn’t really fault her for that. Especially when…
Yuuto insists on targeting her everytime she opens her mouth, whether saying something mean or not. It had gotten to the point where just reading the word ‘Crow’ would start to give her a stress headache. God, she didn’t hate Yuuto at all. He was a good friend, albeit with a temper as short as he was, and he’d trusted her enough to tell her about his girlfriend, so it’d be more than a little mean for her to break off their friendship purely due to some online spats.
But, oh my god, together, they were practically life-threatening. Miyu had sworn, if they fought one more time, she’d do something about it. Something drastic. Something she’d seen in movies, in TV, the only answer she could think of to their ridiculous “war”. She’d even prepared, collecting the necessary equipment to set up the scenario beforehand.
She didn’t even know what they were arguing about this time, and frankly didn’t care. The moment she noticed it, she set to work, messaging both of them privately. It was a little shady, she knew that, but hopefully they’d both understand.
“Miyu DM to Yuuto: Hey, so, uh, I'm planning on confessing to Red, y'know, and, uh, I kinda wanna ask someone who's actually in a relationship about it? So, if you could come over to my dorm room, I'd rather talk about it in person”
“Miyu DM to Airi: hey, I need some help studying for english and Red's been.. yknow, absent, so can you help? come over to my dorm room asap please”
With that, she took off to her closet, fetched the materials, and pushed them next to her door, so they’d be conveniently hidden by it when it was open. Then, it was waiting time. Hopefully, they wouldn’t notice each other coming over...

"Kurusu: happy birb T-T"
Airi finished sending her text to the chatroom, finally putting down her phone for once. This chatroom was both a blessing and a curse. Only a few minutes ago she had been arguing with Yuuto, but at this very moment, she was sharing her love of conures. Nobody gave a shit about that though, not really. Airi sighed. Most of her interests were probably boring to the majority of the kids in the school.
Regardless, she wasn't having it with him. He was an annoying first year just like the rest of them and she was a little tired of arguing and thankfully Miyu offered a lifeline by asking for her assistance in studying.
Miyu was.. oddly normal. To Airi, almost everyone had some weird personality quirk to them and Miyu wasn't really strange like rest of them, only a tad bit sensitive when it came to debating. Not only that, she was relatively nice to her and honestly, being able to add another student to her tutoring catalog would be really good for her disciplinary committee application. So of course, Airi accepted.
Still... there was another, more embarrassing reason for why Airi was so quick to accept Miyu's request.
Red.
There was a slight tinge of jealousy in her when she read that Red had been helping Miyu study for english. They were spending time with each other, granted it was most likely them just reading the textbook and talking about it together, but still.. not only that, Airi had a sneaking suspicion that Miyu had a crush on him. So if Airi helped her out right now, perhaps she would tutor Miyu in the future instead of Red. They wouldn't spend that much time with each other anymore which means no feelings for e-.. No. That's not why she was doing it. She was just helping a fellow classmate. Nothing else.
Of course, that wasn't true but for her own sanity, she denied herself those thoughts and ignored them. In the past few months, Airi had developed feelings for him from practically nothing. Apparently they were so strong that even other people had begun to nice, much to Airi's chagrin. Regardless, it was something that bothered her constantly-buzzing mind, along with a lot more explicitly negative feelings.
She didn't understand her own feelings. Was she really into this guy or was she just incredibly desperate for a real friend, searching for a close connection where there was none simply because someone had been nice to her despite how she acted? Airi just didn't know. Thankfully, those perplexing feelings had dissipated quite a bit over time, but they still affected how she acted, a fact she didn't want to admit to herself. No, to her, she was acting sanely with a clear head.
Removing these accursed thoughts from her brain, Airi focused on figuring out a makeshift lesson plan so that Miyu could follow along. Unfortunately, Airi had forgotten to ask exactly what parts of English she needed assistance with but it wouldn't matter. Her notebook had detailed notes for each unit they had done so it wouldn't be a real issue. Arriving at her door, Airi would knock on the door and wait to be let in.

Post by Yuuto Samejima on Nov 25, 2019 2:56:04 GMT -4
Yuuto finished his post in the UA chat. He had to look away to finish up some writing to get his mind off the argument that just occurred yet again.
God Crow pisses him so much. Every conversation with her ends with an argument and becomes a shitslinging contest. People like her piss him off the most. The type of people who are more bark than bite and wont know when to shut the fuck up for the life of them. Those types tend to get weeded out easily or become massive contributors for gossip in school. But he has learned by experience and example that they are easy to shut up with a few dozen punches. Is violence necessary and is it better to take the high road? Only if you are the self control of a saint and a NERD. Punching people usually solves things easier than trying to understand the cause of the problem because 9 times out of 10, they won't change at all if you try and talk to them. Every. Single. Confrontation ends in a fucking agreement over the smallest things and the fucking Disciplinary committee always takes the moral highground to jack off their morals rather than solve the issue. Signing up for it was merely on impulse and a way to do some good IF he gets accepted. Howev-
It was then he received a DM from Miyu. A senpai who was prolly the most normal person he has ever met in his life. Nothing too big that makes her stand out but her attitude and demeanor is a welcome change from everyone else. Her message on the other hand struck him quite hard as he reeled back in his chair and fell to the floor as he read it. He had no clue she had those kinds of feelings for Red. It was a shock like no other and it took a few seconds to process it
After the initial shock, it was all confusion as to why she would DM him and not Ran. Ran was the one who confessed and she is more understanding of her situation far more than him. Hell, the only thing he could be good for is reactions and possible advice for guys but she has the better experience. She is more receptive to these sorts of things despite her personality and demeanor. He could remember a good number of times she would offer some solid advice in times of severe stress to him and saved him a lot of heartache. One could only wonder how he attracted someone like that but that’ll be a story for another time.
Anyways, Miyu was quite insistent on him coming over. He could only summarize that he could be used as some sort of dummy for confession practice. Effective practice but also why? But can’t exactly say no to a senpai’s request and maybe he could text Ran on what to say since he clearly has no clue on what to say in a situation like this. He put on his black hoodie and jeans and sauntered over to the Girls Dorm and find Miyu’s room.
Yuuto would text Ran about various pieces of advice she would give so he wouldn't sound like a complete dolt. After a bit if explaining and various bits of bargaining he would get her wise words. She texted back along the lines, “Be self-confident, Miyu-Chan!~”,”An Honest and Heartfelt confession is always best !~”, “Red seems a bit dense to these things, so be as forward as possible !”, and so on. How she can read people that easily is a complete mystery, but hey if it helps. He would continue to talk with her about various topics involving their days and various plans in the future.
He would arrive at the room and made sure it was the right room before even entering. He was quite nervous as he would relaying Rans advice to Miyu in the most concise way possible. One of the things he is never good at is conveying his words in a clear and concise matter. If he messes up even one but in delivering Miyu's advice, he won't hear the end of it. He took a deep breath as he neared the floor she was on and saw a rather peculiar sight. A girl who was just standing there with some books in hand. Something was immediately up as Miyu wasn’t in sight. Who the fuck is this girl and what is she doing here. But something about her was off and her very presence irks him to no end. But he held his tongue as he waited near the door and waited to be let in. Maybe the girl was here to lend her notes or something. Tension could be felt in the air as Yuuto could feel like something is up and wants to say something out loud. He would browse his phone and text Ran in the meantime as he waits to be let in by Miyu. Not paying the girl any mind as he minded his own business.
