feel the light shining in the dark of the night | IThe whipping wind cut a cold chill through Toma, even with his hero suit on he felt it down to his bones. He could turn his quirk back on to get some warmth but he was prowling the Terminal late at night, getting a decent view of the place from up on a rooftop just inside the perimeter. Though he wasn't planning on any altercations tonight he didn't want to give his position away.
He had come to the Terminal on such a cold night to scout the place out. The police had asked for information on the routines and nightly habits of the dock workers, the kind of information you couldn't just ask for. He had agreed to a simple reconnaissance mission since he could fly in under the cover of night fairly easily.
So far everything had been mundane. There were a few dock workers moving freight by forklift and a couple of security guards swinging their flashlights around looking for trespassers. One of the security guards actually came near the building he was hiding on so Vega crouched low, making sure not to be spotted by the wannabe cop. It could turn south real fast if he was caught. He couldn't just pull his hero card out since he technically wasn't supposed to be there.

With how chilly the wind felt, Kenshin was glad to have his hooded jacket on him. Not that it mattered if he didn't, as the boy would go on his usual patrols regardless of the weather or temperature. He wanted to make sure that there was no trouble running around. Sure, he could always let the police and heroes do their job. But in general, he trusted the law about as much as he could fly himself up. And the boy's quirk did not give him any flight capabilities at all. The boy sighed. The eternal question of heroism versus vigilantism still continued to plague him. He still could not decide which path to justice was really the best one. Both had their pros and cons. He had friends on both ends of the spectrum, but even if he did ask them for their input, he doubted that he would be able to make such a big decision so easily. So for now, he would just continue doing what he had always been doing. Kicking criminal ass, keeping the people safe, and staying very far away from any law enforcement unless absolutely necessary. As Kenshin walked around while doing his best to keep himself hidden in the shadows, his thoughts went to Toma, former vigilante turned pro-hero. Kenshin did not yet ask G about what he thought of their former Storm Knight comrade, but the boy had a feeling that he could make a guess regarding the matter that wasn't too farfetched. Personally, Kenshin did not have an issue with Sunhawk becoming Vega. Despite not being able to make the choice himself, Kenshin respected Toma for being able to decide for himself what he wanted. He did not really see it as 'selling out' or anything like that. After all, despite heroes and vigilantes operating differently, their end goal was the same. Heroes and vigilantes were, as far as Kenshin was concerned, almost one and the same in terms of purpose. So if for some reason Kenshin did see Toma again someday, the boy would not see him as an enemy. That being said, Kenshin was not exactly sure if he wanted to come face to face with the guy. Not that Toma was a bad person (far from it), but with pro-heroes being ones to uphold the law and Kenshin being someone who didn't exactly follow the rules, the boy could not imagine a meeting like that going over very well. Would Toma try to turn the boy in? Would he try to talk the boy into quitting the vigilante life? Or would the two just chill and reminisce about old times? In truth, Kenshin did not know if he wanted to find out. What am I even thinking about? I have a job to do! Setting his thoughts aside, Kenshin continued to move around, checking for any trouble, and also keeping an eye out for law enforcement so he could do his best to steer clear of them. I can reminisce about old times later! Right now, I need to make myself useful for the Storm Knights and make sure there's no trouble brewing over here!
