The world is a wonderful source of existence. Sometimes it will comfort you with the desire of wonder and adventure. Sometimes it will grant you the power to follow your dreams. Sometimes it will tell you visions of dreams and potential futures that can lead you in a new path in life. Sometimes it can distract you for about 2 minutes and separate you from your group. Sometimes it can lead you in a new adventure, leaving you lost and confused, but it will be a fun adventure...with some snow out there...and with new people and a teacher that isn't the one assigned to you...or perhaps none of that as well, but hey the spirit of solo adventuring...and...and um….Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh...the birds are...uh...nice?
Kaz's mental chronicling of his current situation isn't helping him out as he wanted it to. Here he was, regaining his energy and spirit after the 3 hours of utter tiredness then sudden fear the bus ride over here gave him. He was told of his group, who he would be accompanying with, and he managed to familiarize himself with them. Truth be told the only one who he was fully familiar with was Jack. The rest of his friends were instead divided up into other groups. While he was able to hang with him, once they got to the top they wouldn't hang out. Which while a shame he wasn't able to talk with them freely once they reached their destination, meant that it gave him more time to bond with the rest of his fellow first years. Perhaps he can inspire them during this long arduous walk...on a mountain...oh. Ooooooh. Oooooooooooooh booooooooooy he messed up here. Why did he sign up for this. Oh no.
Luckily for his worries, he was quickly distracted by a well timed bird flying by. It was quite an interesting bird. Cool looking wings and patterns and everything. He was already lagging behind his group so he wasn't immediately noticed missing. He just had to observe this wonderful ave so he can record it and report it back to his sister and- and he forgot his book back in the dorm, just great. He snapped out of his daze after realizing that, making him a bit upset. How can he hold onto this thought for that long? It'll be a trial to keep that in mind while also facing this mountain hike trial. ANd he hates walking, gah. Oh well, perhaps he can talk to Jack about this and-
Ah. Everyone he was with is gone now.
Well now he's screwed.
Alright. Think. They are on a set path. Clearly what that means is that as long as he follows said path he will eventually rejoin them...problem. The area he stood in place for a while...is hard to decipher which way it is. It's not one of those obvious 'high incline' areas. Nah, they're in a neutral 'flat' section right now. So then...where to go. Will it be that way? The one behind him? Should he pick? Should he choose? Should he ask someone who suddenly popped up behind him and had that familar tone of one Yui Fuji- WAIT.
"GAH!" He gets scared by the sudden appearance of Yui. "Fujin?! Do-don't do that! G-geez...don't sneak up on pe-people...gah…" He catches his breath. "...Er, are you lost

Earlier before this thread, Itsuki had tied Yui up in a cage made of dirt like material or concreteish. Yui still had trouble understanding what exactly the heck concrete was. To her it was just really hot rocks that sometimes burned her feet when she didn't wear her sandals, after all she thought walking barefoot felt better. However as soon as he made the opening to release her, Yui BLASTED off the bus, screaming some nonsense of "DONT SEND ME BACKKKKK" she said as she screeched normally.
Majority of the students didn't really pay her any mind though, yui was usually always screaming and running around anyways so this was normal behavior for the local gremlin. However for Yui this moment was filled with anxiety, she KNEW this forest, she knew who was here. So naturally since she was alone on the top of the roof, the cage tied down to the bus cause it wouldn't fit inside the only place she could escape to was her mind. However that mind began to release her greatest fears onto her. She thought they were taking her back home, that Itsuki was punishing her for not going to classes and that they were going to send her back to her prison that had held onto her for so long. She flew as fast as she could AWAY from everyone. Once she was sure she had lost them she sat on a tree branch and stared at the sky, wondering if everyone was even thinking about her? Did they worry if she was lost? This was home for a LONG time for her, so she knew the forest like the back of her hand. But she doubted it honestly, people were usually quick to dismiss Yui because of her rather chaotic and childish nature. She pushed her knees to her face and sat there sulking alone. She looked up and wondered if it was a mistake for her to have ever left home in the first place.
When she did though, an interesting site caught her eye. A bird but not any kind of bird, one of yui's favorite birds, A Eurasian Bullfinch Pyrrhula. She was a bird nerd after all since she related to them. She wondered if she could try and catch it and keep it as a pet, so she jumped back onto the floor and began to chase after it. It felt nice for the breeze to be flowing through her hair, that was until it was interrupted. She suddenly ran into a heavy unidentified object. She fell back from the thud of them colliding into each other and stumbled onto the floor. UGH what the heck was that?! She looked up and saw a familiar face KAZ? WHY WAS KAZ HERE? HOW DID HE GET AHEAD OF HER. She was extremely confused "What are you doing here?! you stupid stapler!" She said angrily as she remembered the recent fight they had and remembering the outcome. She also wanted to use her recently acquired knowledge of a modern device on him to flex her knowledge. She was already upset but she realized, they were extremely close to the entrance of the village..usually yui wasn't one to cuss but this time she let out an internal Yui cuss 'fudge' she had to get him away from the village. This was extremely dangerous. "You need to go back with the others you idiot!" she said angrily, oh yeah Yui real effective.

The shrill voiced blond haired girl who often steals his books and who once threw him out a window. Of all people, this was the person who would meet him in these woods. He did recall some noise up in the roof, but to see her up and walking about… was she like, brought along in the last minute as Shockwave told her? Or was it by force? Gah, who cares. Why is she here? He asked her if she was lost, after she collided with his back and fell on the ground, and all she did was call him a stapler. What’s up with that? He’s not a stapler! Sure he can use his quirk in that regard and has done so in the last time they “fought” (said throwing out the window event), but to call him just a stapler is a bit rude. He is a “chronicler,” come on now.
“Seriously, yo-you smash up to me and that’s what you wanted to say.” He shakes his hand and begins to mutter. “After witnessing a marvelous Bullfinch out here in this climate, in Mt. Fuji, I expected something else from this day. Not…ya know.” He then helps the (oddly angry) Yui up and sighs. “T-thank you for the concern though, even if it is...blunt. I was actually thinking about rejoining with my group but I, um…” he looks around them. All that’s here is trees rocks, foliage, and this huge looking bush. “I seem to be...left behind.” He nervously chuckles as he places his hands in his coat’s barely visible pockets. “Ahaha...well, Fujin. You know how it is. Sometimes in life you just...you just get distracted by a rare Eurasian bullfinch and you simply lose the time...ehehehe…” He shakes his head. “However, all is not lost! Do not worry though! Because as the ‘chronicler’ of the world, I actually know where they were last headed to!”
That was a damn lie. He has no idea where he’s heading to. He has no clue what direction he’s even facing right about now. If he had his chronicle, he would have perhaps jolted down a path for his poor memory to recall on, but nope. Left it on his desk back at the dorm. “...Ye-yes indeed. I know where my group is. So do not worry, Fuijin, I will just head right back where my group went to…and you return back to your group, and we will all be good. Right? Right. Until later!” He smirks as he heads towards the direction where the bush is, unaware of what lies ahead of it. He is also unaware of a rock in front of him. Which will most likely trip him up the moment he turns back to anything. Like say, a loud noise telling him not to go to that direction. With a single yell, the young chronicler would turn his head towards the angry and fearful Yui, tripping on the rock and falling into the whims of gravity, as he gets propelled towards an unknown location. A location that Yui knows very well.

"Wait you saw that bullfinch too-" she said cutting herself off as she was still kind of angry with him. Yui was shocked however Kaz was actually following the same bird...how strange, she took his hand to stand up. Huh, so this is how his hand felt? It was surprisingly soft to Yui. It wasn't rough and calloused like the men from her village, how interesting. Kohaku's was similar to his but Yui got distracted by this minor detail and was brought back to reality as Kaz began to answer her rant.
As he looked around she began to worry he was going to find the entrance to the village, it was right. frigging. there. She panicked as he turned crossing her fingers and praying to the goddess (herself, yeah she does that) that he didn't find it. Luckily he didn't react to it. "Left behind or you wandered off writing one of your chronicles?" she asked condescendingly and sarcastically. She was well aware of how he got when it came to writing down one of his stories. She cut him off right after he mentioned how people get lost following words "No I dont, I know this forest very well so im never lost here." She said divulging too much info while squinting at him suspiciously. Yui was dumb, but he wasnt the chronicler of this world, SHE was. At least she believed so...sometimes. She wasn't so sure anymore. Things took a turn for the worse suddenly as the clumsy Kazu tripped over a rock and fell right towards the entrance. "KAZ! WAIT! NO!" she said trying to use her wind to lift him back up. But it was to no avail, kaz was too heavy for her to lift on account of her quirk and she was not quick enough, he already fell through the bush. NO NO NO NO. yui was never one to curse but this time the situation warranted it "FUCK" She didnt like this word, it made her feel dirty and nasty but there was no other way to let out the frustration and anxiety from what kaz had just done. He entered the bird's nest, and she was hopeful they'd be able to get back out.
Behind the bush there was actually natural boundary of dirt that pushed off people to walk around their village. It also prevented the people from inside leaving unless they went through the exit. It was steep so that normal people couldnt climb it too, however kaz had found the entrance that Yui commonly used. Not only that but kaz was also yelling as he fell, as he tumbled through the hole Kaz would crash through another brush and end up at another forest part of the area. After he gathered himself together he'd notice a bunch of strangely dressed people stared at him. They were all wearing the same white cloth uniform, several of them had farming tools others were carrying jugs and stuff. They all screamed and ran away from him immediately upon spotting the boy, giving him time to look around. To the boy it would look like he traveled back in time, the forest was the same as before but this time there were old cottages and some tree houses decorating the land. There were also a LOT of birds, like an unnatural amount of them they were also surprisingly calm. some grabbed their farming tools and other weapons they had. Swords, spears, and even farming pitch forks were all pointed at Kaz. "YOU! Who are you?! How did you get through her grace's barrier?" he said, if kaz would look closer there was a symbol on their shirt that resembled a small little generic bird. If he looked at the person who was talking to him he'd see an older man who seemed to be built from years of farming and darker skin from working in the sun and anger filling his face
Meanwhile as soon as Kaz had fallen through the hole, yui knew immediately she couldn't just leave him there. She panicked, flying above the wall to go over it and not through the same entrance the boy did. She hide amongst the birds in the tree and the treeline. She spotted him, and great he was already having weapons pointed at him. 'Oh nononono' she said to herself at the realization Kaz was in serious trouble and she was too scared to move. What was she going to do? "Pleaseeeee dont use your powers..." she whispered to herself so that no one would spot her.

"Hmm, what, Fuji-AW CRAP"
He could have sworn he heard Yui swore in that moment. He also may have felt a small gust of wind. Perhaps it was Yui's attempt to aid him up. Unfortunately, the angle at which he was falling made the so called 'aid' instead push him further into the path that she did not want anyone to witness. He had no idea of why she didn't want him going in that direction. Maybe she didn't want him to get even more lost, since she claims she knows this forest. Well, it's not like thats a hard thing to pull over kaz; the poor kid when he first arrived at the dorms got lost trying to find one of the rooms on the boys side...while inside the dorm itself. He was self absorbed into his readings and chronicling that he he managed to defy common sense and just...end up lost. Or maybe Yui wanted to make another joke and make him even more lost. Seems like the kind of thing she would do as a 'game.'
Right now isn't the best time to be thinking about the implications about it, because right now he is stumbling and rolling down some steep parts of the mountain. Some cries of fear were heard, however being the 'chronicler of the world' means he has to show restraint. No intense emotions right now, he has to observe this moment and record it down in h-AW CRAP I MIGHT FALL OFF THE MOUNTAIN AND DIE, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Luckily he did not die. Yet, at least. For once he landed on the ground, a few things stood out. One was....gaaaaaaah that...that hurts. Not as much as he thought...maybe he really is durable as they say. Two....there were other people here. That is...that is really suspicious. Was this part of the training...thing...or did he like fall down further than he liked? They speak Japanese at least...although for some reason the way they spoke reminded him of how Yui speaks. Was it a regional dialect or something? Also, they're holding stuff...and pointing it at him...hmm. Seems a bit old fashioned, like the ones seen in period dramas and in old fantasy novels...in fact. This whole place seems a bit old fashioned. Hell is he? Ainu? No, it doesn't look like any Ainu places he's read about.
"...Wh-wha?" He takes a better look around him. Alright, huts, cottages, farming stuff...birds. Birds. More birds. Oh god there are so many birds. So many. If he weren't confused on where he was at the moment, or technically being threaten by old farming equipment, he would be elated. They even have a small bird on their person, that's cute...also weird that they're all wearing white...Why are they all wearing white. He looks at the older looking gentlemen. Just...just keep on talking and don't make yourself seem dangerous. No need to get stabbed right now. Although these materials...think he might be able take one gentle stab....oh god what is he thinking, that older tanned guy is holding a dangerous tool, he can kill him with just a simple swing! Talk! Talk time! "O-Oh. Well, I um, I uh...tripped and...uh...ended up here...I uh...I apologize for uh, interrupting you guys's farming...So, uh..." he tries his best to not look afraid, which thanks to his wonderful skills of acting...is only barely able to do so. "I must...be on my way...do you guys know how to leave here or something? Perhaps...a way up the steep hill? If not that's-that's okay." he looks at the birds again. "These are really nice birds, reminds me of the bullfinch I saw near here. If I had my journal, I wouldn't mind writing them down....ehehehehe..." Oh god why did he mention his journal.

Yui stood in the tree lines, still hiding from the rest of the villagers. Of COURSE kazu would be the one who freaking find her home, the sheer LUCK. She watched as Kaz tried to initially interact with the villagers...the majority of them ran to their homes and hide while the men and warriors were the ones who had drawn weapons and whatever they could find onto kaz. The older man who had been speaking for the village was very well known by Yui, he was the one who was always sent to bring her back and catch her when she was misbehaving.. "Damn it, of course Taichi was the first one to spot him...this just got a bit harder.." she said biting the edge of her thumb in annoyance.. he was the bane of her existence, he'd always be one step ahead of her, one step ahead of her game..she couldn't risk her freedom for kazu...she couldn't.
Taichi clicked his tongue at the demon, he pulled out a spear that was sheathed on his back. He grabbed the blunt end made of wood and slammed it into the boy's chest to push him back. "Stop acting stupid, no one can just "trip" through her barrier tell me how you did it or ill end your life here you demon." he said in a similar fashion to Yui speaking. However he was not joking "Start taking this seriously or ill end you on the spot where you lay. The only reason I haven't yet is because I don't want to spill blood on the holy land of the golden wind goddess Yui." he said with anger in his voice. "But I will if it means protecting this land from your filth." he said turning the sharp end back towards Kaz. "Your kind took her from us." he said clenching his fist...Yui from above however face turned into a big annoyed frown, god he was dramatic, they all were.
Yui's heart sank as soon as those words escaped his lips, there was no coming back from this now. Crap, now he's going to learn everything...he was going to help them catch her and bring her back wasn't he? Yui started to feel like she had no other option...she started to gather a bunch of wind in her palm...she aimed it towards Taichi, gathering up as much force a she could. The birds took noticed and started to squawk and chirp wildly as the treeline began to shake a bit at the wind moving. The squawks became more violent and loud as the other villagers began to notice and grew concerned except for Taichi. He raised the spear at him before the birds immediately went silent and he stopped in his tracks. "Stop Taichi." another voice called out to him, he immediately heeded the order and turned over to the voice and dropped to one knee.
Once the large dark skinned man halted in his tracks and lowered his body, Yui's faced turned into that of horror. Crap, it was her mother. A woman dressed in all black covered from head to toe in black fabric with vines etched and woven into the cloth had appeared. The rest of the villagers soon took notice and dropped to their knees as well. It would be obvious to Kaz that she was the one who was in charge of them all, Taichi would try to speak but she'd raise her palm to him "Enough, even the idea of spilling blood here is not allowed. You of all are well aware of that Taichi. I will speak to you later." she said as the man fell silent once more. "What do we have here? A lost dove seeking a home? Or a demon invading the holy land?" she said looking to Kaz, if he tried to look at her face he'd have a very hard time as her face was mostly covered by her hood, he'd be able to see the lower half of her face and a glint of her eyes which shone with a small hint of yellow. She placed her hand on his face, cupping it to get a good look at him. "Are you a threat to us here? Dont lie to me, im very good at knowing when people lie." she said somewhat threateningly

Jokes on him, he is that stupid to be able to trip in this direction. Also what barrier. Hell is he talking about. That…”barrier” he went pass through, aka an open path to a steep cliff covered by a measly bush, was barely even protected for hikers. In fact, how have these people managed to stay here without being discovered. Does the school know of this location? Is this like, some sort of built in location headed by the school? Is this some sort of messed up training? Nope! Farming tool over the chest, no it’s not! Oh god, oh man, he’s, he’s um, he’s not happy to see him here. He’s way Dramatic, even for his like, ahahaaha, oh god god he's gonna die here.*
He somewhat yelps nervously as the man shoves the pole up his chest. At least it's not the edged part, else he'll have a new scar. Seriously, why did when he started going to UA did he start obtaining body scars? This is, this isn't normal. "Ri-right, but I'-i'm not lying…" he nervously stammers as the main stares at him. At this point, Kaz has read enough books and seen shows to see that this is a weird religious sect, confirmed with the man starting to talk about their goddess. The local entity of their village, presumably. Odd but fitting name to give it to her, though. Depending on the characters used, its used to either tie the community together or boast it's own superiority among others and-
Wait. Wait a second. What did he say, again? "
"I don't want to spill blood on the holy land of the golden wind goddess Yui."
Yui? Th-that Yui. Yui Fujin? Her? Sorry, what.
His nervousness is immediately replaced with utter confused. At once, the words being spoken by the man, as well as the odd outburst of wind occuring are muffled out as he thinks about this.
He means Yui. Okay, what does that mean. First off, Yui is a common name and all, but the fact that he was just with a Yui, as well as the fact that he mentioned that they took her away from them, implies it to be an actual person. Their common dialect, their tone, It's the way Yui speaks. Not to mention, She herself was really, really angry and nervous about him walking in that direction. Too Angry. Too Nervous. As if she was hiding something here.
Okay, the most logical thing is that she was named after this goddess.
The least likely, and yet somehow the most reasonable due to the tone of this interrogation, is that she IS the same 'goddess.'
Okay, that's...that's uh...being praised as a god will give you a horrible ego. Wow. Think that...if this was the same Yui that he just met a few seconds ago, then yeah being treated like this would explain a lot about her. Way bit too much about her. A bit disturbing in hindsight.
His deep thinking was disturbed by a hooded woman coming in. Everyone hushed and even the man threatening him ceased. She stared at him, and he stared back with his reddish brown eyes, somewhat nervous but still trying to save face. She was in charge. Something about her felt off. All these people were like...well how do you describe it? People who drank the punch? She doesn't feel like that. Her way of talking, the way she demanded herself in public...it felt weird. Slightly artificial, yet even knowing that you can't help but be suckered right in.
In other words, an actor. Actors can help sell the scene to anything if they choose to. And they can convince you that they are their character. It's 50/50, actually 10/90 leaning in her favor, but she seems off. He straightens himself up and looks at her, head on.
"...Holy land? Invasion? What? No, I'm serious, I tripped here! The barrier that he mentioned, it wasn't there! Maybe someone broke it, but it wasn't me." He tries to appeal to her. No yelling, no calling them weird or crazy, just...just explain everything or else you'll probably die. "I was here chasing a bird, and I got myself lost on this mountain, separated from the rest of my group. We have no idea of your existence here, this was purely coincidental. It's a school trip, see?" The last time he mentioned UA directly to someone who seemed 'off,' he got stabbed in the chest. So no mentioning them 2 letters, alright? Alright.
He looks at everyone. They look...skeptical as hell. In fact, it's easy to say according to Taichi gripping his tool, that he has every intention to drag him behind a hut and kill him there, hiding his sin from whatever goddess they actually worship. he can't use common sense here. he super can't. God, what the hell can he do?
…
…
...Well, it's worth a shot. Acting, it's time to put you to the test.
"...Gaaaah…" he sighs as he nervously fidgets with his hands. "Alright, fine. I'm a demon, bu-bUT." He extends his hand before anyone had the audacity to attack him (LOOKING AT YOU, TAICHI YOU PUNK ASS-) "I'm not what you think I am. I found the barrier to be broken, and I just entered in to pay my respects to her. This is, after all, where the goddess Yui once lived in, and I wanted to see what kind of place generated such a powerful being."
Kazu is smacking himself mentally, banging his head towards a mental wall for putting up with this bullshit. Kaz meanwhile is mentally nervously laughing while trying to channel the upmost weebness he can muster. A combination of Red, Himself, Yui's gremliness, Jack's eagerness, Niso's dark lord-ness, anything he can unite to make himself look feasible.
"You see, I am her...well not friend, that's for sure, but someone who was spared by her, and I wanted to pay my respects. The problem was that the barrier was open, so that made me worried for a second. Now I'm even more worried that she's not here..." he looks at some people. "What? Don't believe me? Hold on a second." he rolls up his right arm sleeve and shows them a healed scar, the one he got from the incident with Parasyte. "This among other was something given to me by her. There's one on my chest, but its not healed yet and I want to spare you from it." He taps himself over the other wound Parasyte gave him, sightly coughing in pain. "Sh-she was ruthless, yet kind enough to let me live. So clearly, I had to come here to pay my respects."
He then looks at the leader. He needs to convince her. How, though. How the hell can he convince someone who is probably the smartest person here? Come on, think. What skills do you have? He can use his metal, but she probably has a quirk. hell, everyone here might have quirks and yui's might just be one of the strongest, hence the worshiping. He needs something else...something….
...hmm. You know. There is something he can do. He won't like it though.
Generating his metal in its book form in case this fails so he can just run like hell and defend himself, he looks at her and goes, "I'm I once met a melting girl and she stabbed in the chest, then i saw a man with teeth for eyes who patched me up. Kaz for short."
Those are the words he said, that he himself has heard. What they heard, however, is a combination of harsh sounds and static, like the kind you hear on tv. "If you ever meet her, please tell her that I came by to thank her. I mean you no harm, I promise. I Promise i will never tell this to the others. Please."
Mentally he is crying his eyes out while Kazu is begging that this works.
*When you hear that coming from Kaz(‘s thoughts), then you know you’re being way dramatic right about now.

Yui..watching and hearing this whole thing happen...slammed her head into a tree. She spoke softly as for those underneath her to not hear her. "this...idiot.. what..the..heck.." she said between head bangs. People looked curiously up, what an odd time for a wood pecker to be making it's home? They were obviously afraid of demons why would he say he's a demon! That's a total lie! He is not a demon! He's just an idiot!! Yui was completely and utterly upset with him but she could do nothing except hopelessly watch. Yui's mother also looked up, she wasn't able to see Yui but she had a feeling the girl was nearby and watching..should would confirm it later. however she was not surprised at this whole situation, of course she had a hand in this. Idiot girl.
The rest of the villagers gasped in horror as Kaz had began to use his quirk. "Its' true!" one of the pointed at kazu with a finger. "He's a demon! Do not fall for his tricks!" another shouted, Yui's mother put her palm towards the crowd to silence them all, idiotic boy. What was he thinking? Lord was he as dumb as her daughter liked to pretend she was? Here we go, this was going to take some quick thinking to resolve. "I am here, it is fine. I can handle him, im the holy mother after all." she said calmly as the villagers began to whisper to one another. "You, boy." she said staring him down with a deathly stare "You are to come with me." she said without a hint of emotion in her words. "The rest of you, continue with your duties. I will speak to him alone, he has learned the way of our goddess after all so he is of no threat to this place. After all it sounds like he understands our ways and wishes to convert from the sounds of it. I will purge the demon from his body." Some of the villagers gave side glances of confusion and whispers "Do not worry! Our goddess has given her blessings to him. I can sense her magic very well, I will purge the demon so only the man remains. Please be at ease. He is a guest here." she said as she walked off.
Taichi would shoot kaz the death stare and slowly move out of his way. "Try anything funny and I'll slay you where you stand." he said to Kaz as the two would walk. "Now go, dont keep her holiness waiting ." he said shoving kaz. towards her indicating he really didn't have an option to disobey her. Kaz would soon arrive in front of a rather large cottage, it was extremely nice and in much better condition than the other houses he walked by. Once inside some girls would be in the house cleaning and cooking things, they'd all bow to her as soon as she entered the house. Which right after would walk right out as they went into her office, during this time Yui snuck from house to house, taking care to not be spotted. She was worried what her mother might do...she always meant well to Yui but she never let her leave the village, it was a cage, a prison...she did not want Kaz to suffer the same fate as she once did.
Once inside she'd gesture for him to take a seat on a wooden chair that was beautifully decorated with vines and gold ornaments. Several fake dolls of birds filled the room. "So, im sure this is all very confusing for you is it not? Yui isn't stupid enough to divulge information about us or else im sure the police would have made her come home by now." she said speaking plainly and honestly to the boy. "That girl is a lot of trouble." she said sighing as she sat back in her chair. she pinched the bridge of her nose "At least tell me this, is she alive? Is she ok? is she eating?" she asked curiously with slight worry in her voice. "Don't lie and say you don't know her, yeah you spouted her name earlier but Taichi said her name so you could have just spouted it wildly. I know you have met her before." she said with a smug look on her face, she had a way of knowing things. "Call it mother's tuition, I'm Makoto Fujin. I'm Yui's birth mother." but Yui knew better than to bring a stranger here as well, her followers were going to be extremely upset at this whole thing...but this boy couldn't just suddenly vanish or others would come here looking for him. Ugh...what a mess, what was Makoto going to do now? She was going to have to tell her father about this, luckily he wasn't here right now or else this wouldn't have gone as smoothly...he would have added fuel to the fire..his beliefs were...much more "intense"..in his beliefs of the goddess.

"...Y-yeah, I just said that. We-weren't you listening?" he did all this to prove he was a demon, and the first thing they did was state the obvious. Come on now. For a bunch of followers, they're kinda slow on the uptake. Sure they reacted to the whole static stuff, but to see them just...stare at him dumbfounded is a bit....eeeh. Truth be told, the performer within him is disappointed in their somewhat lackluster response. Come on, what about your devotion to your goddess, wouldn't you guys be more reactive to her beating down a demon with her bare hards...or something...oh god, getting beaten by Yui. He'll never live it down if it ever does happen. But it seems to have gotten her attention. At the very least, she can see through this undercurrent of absolute buffoonery. Now she's just gonna let him go to protect the villages and-oh. C-come with her. O-Oh. Hmm.
"...U-uh. Alr-right." Appeal to force half succeeded, half failed. Succeeded in making the others fearful, failed because he's being drawn closer to the village. he's spending more time than he should be right now. Oh god. Oh no. Taichi does his best to sound intimidating while shoving him, but as he walks off, Kazu takes a quick look at the tool he's holding, and slightly waves his Metal as it slowly forms into the shape of a sword, with a smile on his face as it returns back into its book shape. "Yeah, doubt it..." He quietly mutters as he follows the hooded figure.
Inside the large cottage, it's...it's kinda nice. A bit nice before the whole doll situation. A bit weird, not gonna lie. If you ever see dolls lying around in one's room, its a bit of a warning sign. Either that means they have a creepy hobby of making puppets from wood, creepy hobby of controlling them, or the creepy hobby of turning poor victims into husks of their former selves...let's be honest: if they just make puppets and dolls for the hell of it it's already a huge warning sign. He sits down on one of the chairs as she sets herself down, facing him. She seems to be acting much more normally now, probably the relief of hiding away from weird ass followers. Here she was, believed by her herd of believers to be removing a demon out of this guy, and they're jsut sitting here, like he was called up to the principal's office for something he did.
"Ah, well. Still surprising that...there's a whole village here. With the way I tripped in here, it's kinda shocking that you guys don't have more weird tourists, especially in Mt. Fuji. How do you guys survive during the winter?" Kazu gets a bit caught in the mechanics as she starts to talk about if Yui's alive, forcing himself to cease and listen. Here he was, talking to her mother. The leader of the group, and apparently her daughter is treated by many here as the goddess of their world. "...Y-yeah. She and I go to school together. It's pretty normal, but the fact that we have quirks is a bit interesting. There's others like that, but not too many. Its around Tokyo.." Don't tell her anything about UA. Oh god, don't tell her about UA. What if her weird followers invade the school, the whole student base would kill these poor morons. "Fujin kinda uses her the most though, think one time she threw me out a window....ehehehe...oth-other than that, she's alright." He slightly frowns a bit, thinking about the implications of this. "I just got lost from my group during a volunteer trip and...well, here we are. Ehehhehe..." He nervously laughs as he looks at her. Yui is a goddess here. Why. Why her and not this woman. Yui is this weird gremlin girl, why the hell do everyone here love her to the point of obsession? "...Why is Fujin the goddess and you and her dad...aren't? Does that...in this whole thing, how does that work out?" He questions, somewhat confused as he turns his head around, keeping his hands in his pocket as he slowly has his metal creep up his sleeve in case he has to jet out of here for his life.

Taichi barely flinched at the idiot, he was really a threat he would have most likely done something already. Taichi immediately tried to psyche Kaz out by leaning in towards him quickly to scare the boy and backing off. Now cut back to Yui's mother and the strange demon who controlled metal seemingly. That's what she surmised at least, she didnt really care for specifics because she doubt from initial impressions that he would do anything rather..violent.. Ugh, of course he began to immediately question things. She put her hand on her forehead, of course he'd be asking questions this is completely different from probably anything else he's ever seen.
She let out a sigh, great now she has to tell the full story. "Well when you have a natural boundary keeping people out it kind of helps that. prevent tourists coming in. Then again, doesn't look like that stopped you did it?" she said plainly sitting back into her chair and pondering what she should actually do about this. The village had never had someone manage to sneak in and she couldn't handle. This kid had potentially ruined years and years of secrecy...Well at least she knew Yui was ok. She had a feeling before that she was fine. Anyways, Yui was now in a school with people who have quirks? interesting. "U.A? She attends?" she asked curiously, Makoto had connections to the outside world after all but she didn't need to tell him that. "Good luck with that, I couldn't get her to attend her own sermons." she said scoffing at the thought of Yui joining. "Well she was allowed to her use powers here as much as she wanted so it makes sense. The girl hates any form of restriction so the outside law's and views on quirks probably is too difficult for her to follow." Of course he was curious as to what's going on in here exactly. The outside world really was not aware of the existence of this religion, that was the point.
She sighed, "I didnt say I'd answer your questions did I?" She told him blatantly "However You gave me information, so I'll do you the same and hopefully you understand the terms of this deal." She said not even asking him if he agreed making it obvious that no was not an answer that she would allow even if she didn't have to use violent methods to do so. He seemed like a push over if she displayed some anger he might go with what she wanted. "Dont even try it, put your quirk away." she said shooting him a disgusting stare. "If you think I'd spill blood here for an idiotic child who snuck his way in here you are sorely mistaken." she snapped at him "How dare you. Put it away." she said looking at him disgusted.
Afterwards she'd go on to explain the village to him, she had to at this rate honestly. "She'll answer your question, I dont have time to bore you with such details and you'd probably rather hear it from her. Not like she can really hide it anymore." she said plainly "Regardless,Yui is the reincarnation of the goddess we believe in." She said "That's as much as I'll tell you, however if you want Yui to stay with you, you need to do me a favor." she said "If you don't, you never see her again." it wasn't even an option if he could deny the deal as she'd soon continue to explain after a small pause. If he tried to talk she'd cut him off "You cannot tell anyone where we are, who we are, and what we are. Is that understood?" she said as Yui was sneaking a peak through the window, making direct eye contact with the boy while her mother hadn't yet noticed. She stood there gesturing him that he had to go before she looked to the side and flew back up to the treeline. "So?" she said looking at him "Do we have a deal? I don't have a quirk so don't worry about any funny business." she said extending her hand to him. "However I do take promises and deals quite seriously." she said with a small friendly smile on her face.

"Again, literally tripped in here. Why do you think I'm lying about that..." He mutters as she talked about the entrance. He sighs a bit as she talks about UA. Great. She knows. Fantastic. There goes the element of secrecy out of the window. It's as if she's keeping tabs on Yui, that's kinda...that's kinda weird. Normally a parent keeping tabs on their children would be fine...but if theyre part of this weird cult village thing and their daughter escaped from this, then um...that's a...that's a big warning sign right there. A bit too much right there. He frowns a bit as she refuses to answer him back, only speaking in general about the religion. Of course she wouldn't reveal the whole scam right there, right now. Rookie mistake, Kaz.
Not gonna lie, the guy with teeth in his eyes is more scarier than her. Even the stare pales in comparison to...literally TEETH. He just blinks at her, slowly reabsorbs the majority back into it, leaving behind the usual scar/slit on his hand, barely changing his expression. There goes his escape route...well no he can just do it again outside. "...We-well yeah. If you spilled blood here you'll probably cause some confusion ove-...A-again, I literally tripped in here. How is-how is that sneaking in? To snea-sneak in implies I knew of this place in the first place, come on!" This isn't the time to be arguing about schematics, right now. Otherwise he feels as if that guy(Taichi) will burst in and choke him out, with her letting it happen.
"It just doesn't...aaahg, wh-whatever. Fine." His eyes while staring at Makoko, noticed something else in that general direction. Was that Yui. The hell was she doing here. What was she gesturing? To get out of here? He's trying, alright? This woman just threaten to somehow drag you back to this weird cultish place, ju-just give him a second, alright? He looks annoyed, but concerned as well. "...As for telling you guys out to the world, well, I doubt anyone would believe even a single word I say about this. Seriously...a village, here in Mt. Fuji, formed over the reincarnation of their goddess in the form of the leader's child...and it has lasted for this long? Even the stories I come up aren't as far fetched than that."* Another secret, huh? At least this one he can reasonably keep without the TEETH sucking it up from him. "Ju-just make sure that guy, Ta-Taichi doesn't do anything the moment I try to leave the village...I feel like he hates him a bit after that little show..." He sighs and shakes the hand. She's probably lying about having no quirk, but there's no evident sign of her using right now. Can't call that bluff right now. "D-deal." He narrows his eyes a bit, wondering if Yui even heard of this. If he did spill the beans, how would this woman know? Does she like...have weird missionaries out there telling people about this village? Who knows. God he hopes not, that'll be scary. He doesn't want to casually mention this to Red, only for Taichi to burst through his window and kill him right on the spot.
*Says the man who once thought up a story about two gods fist fighting in a volcano. Far fetched as hell right there.

sigh, this kid really was of no threat..he seemed easily intimidated and afraid of her. Pushover. Her face had no reaction to any of his confusion or his turmoil over the whole situation, she kind of understood it really. A village hidden near mount fuji is VERY far fetched for anyone on the outside world. That's why the village remained as secretive as it did, no one would believe it. "Easier for it to not be said then right?" she said as a small smirk appeared on her face. She clapped her hands together, extremely pleased at how smoothly this had went. Her initial impressions of this boy were completely wrong. It seems like any kind of fear would mold him into whatever she wanted, that would be useful in the future.
She was SURE she was going to see him again, whether she liked it or not. Oh well she'd cross that bridge when she came to it, for now she had to make sure he left and didn't come back. She stood up and walked to the door "It's about time you go home now then, if you stay too long our deal would be off if they came looking for you." she said in a monotone voice. He had some concerns about Taichi, to which she made a snarky comment about it "You wont see him again if you keep our promise." she said plainly, Taichi WAS a hand full to manage but his devotion to their religion was a good tool for keeping him in line. He DARED to not disobey her, after all she was the holy mother it would be sacrilege to disobey her or her husband. They were all the village had after Yui left which only strengthened their influence over the people.
She escorted Kaz to the entrance from where he came out of. She put both of her hands into her sleeves and Taichi was now standing next to her giving Kaz the death stare. She pretended to not notice it as she wanted to remind Kaz he'd come for him if the deal was broken. She pulled her hand out of the sleeve and put a finger over her mouth and waved bye to the boy "Dont come back~" she said in a singsongy tone.
Once Kaz was gone Makoto turned to Taichi and he to her. "Why did you let him leave?" he asked, "simple my child." she said "He's going to be the one who helps her come home. I have a feeling one way or another." she said smirking to him. Once Yui saw that Kaz was back on the other side of the wall she immediately flew down from the treeline and landed on him. She had an angry look on her face, great now he knew everything. he was obviously going to tell everyone and try to get her sent home too..."fuck" was all she said, upset at herself for even cursing because she never cursed.

Well, could have gone better, maybe he could have not be threaten with his life. At the very least, he was being escorted without any risk to his person or anything. Although, while she did threaten him to not speak...at the same time she didn't have teeth for eyes so that threat is somewhat lessened. Seriously, the moment you see someone with teeth for eyes opening and closing, your standards for threats are somewhat raised. Oh well, such is life when you train in the field of heroism. Sometimes you fall down the path and you enter a weird village and then realize its a cult. You know, normal stuff.
...Why is he normalizing this in his head. This shouldn't be a thing that's happening.
"Yeah, all the teachers nearby arriving...would cause the village to be in disarray." he mutters to himself in a low tone. Even if she had a strong power, an exceptionally powerful quirk...4-6 against 1. Then again, all of her followers are there...in which case, oh dear. It probably is better to actually be leaving right about now. Just...keep on going...Just look at Taichi staring at him with the eyes of a devil. He just blinks at him and grins in response at him, internally sweating and hoping for nothing bad to happen. As he starts to leave, he hears her final statement, glancing back at the two. He just nods as he heads back up, his face becoming more serious as he considers the potential consequences of actually coming back. Like, first of all, WHY would he come back. Oh dear god he would have to be insane to come back. In fact, he completely understands why Yui doesn't want to come back and-Wait a minute. Where's Yui? He saw her there and now she's...oh dear no, what if she's stuck there? Dang it, does he have to go back and- Oh nope wait, he's still staring at him. Th-there goes that option.
Luckily his fears were alleviated when he returns to the spot they started on; the intersection of paths. As he steps out of the bush and the 'wall,' he sees Yui landing in, somewhat furious at him. Seriously, why is she angry at him? He literally tripped and fell there. How was he supposed to know? As for her, she risked herself getting in! If anything that's the more stupider decision among the two! Like, he came in accidently. She came in intentionally, despite never wanting to go back in. Did she get annnoyed at someone spilling the beans, or did she care? Who knows at this point.
He seems somewhat shocked at her swearing, though. "Huh." He just simply mutters. His scruffed up coat and ascot, tons of dirt stains, and messy hair and slight bruise on his face are the only indicators of this event. If any teacher would come by, they would only see Yui and a scuffed up Kaz, unaware of what just happened.
For some reason, some extra birds were perched on the branches.

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse Let's say that she did not even want to think about how long it had taken her to find those two and why no one informed her that Yui was gone as well because this was surely not the idea. You do not look at Kazu for three seconds and he poofed but apparently Yui got something from it as well, and she swore that the girl already got a warning from Itsuki and she did not want to go that far. Besides that wasn't up to her, she would speak to the homeroom teacher later, for now she would just have to get closer without losing them again. She swore that she looked like a walking twig with the leaves and twigs in her bright green hair. The thing was that they had lost the path, she had lost the path and next time she would kick Suwa to do it himself, he was the expert in regions, she was just the biology teacher and she knew a bit but not enough, she was't even his homeroom teacher.
"Fureu-kun, Fujin-san, how did you get away so far from the group?" She tried to be just her usual self, not show the panic that had grown every minute since she left Ketsueki to follow the trail and get further ahead, this had been ridiculous. Seriously did they run down the hill or something? Now that she got closer and they did not seem to run away from her, yay for not using a very strict voice but her calm and soft normal self. Good, no one had to know that she could freak out even in the safe spot of Mount Fuji's nature reservoir, no one else could come here... right? "Come we have to-" But Nimue did not finish her sentence about bringing the kids back to their representative group, she stared at Kazu, as the school nurse and well the organizer of this whole trip, she stared with shock to the boy, "What happened to you?" That looked well quite a painful adventure, seriously she wanted to kick them both in detention if this was seriously their fault for not paying attention, she ushered the boy to sit down to make sure his wounds would be cleaned, who knew with all this nature around, after all, what else could have caused it? "You did not get attacked by an animal, did you?" Ha, she did not have the injection for that. It should be fine, right? No bears or other issues.

Ah. Timing. How wonderful. If he or any other person would count the several times something unexpected or contradictory to your expressed or desired goal happened the moment you notice a slight chance of it happening and get 100 yen from it, everyone would be more richer and better off in the end. Here he was, thinking about how weird it would be that a teacher would arrive the moment they come back to this point...and here she was! Seriously, what better and also worse timing can there be!? If he stayed any longer there, she would have entered the village, and then all chaos would have been let loose. Jeez.
He looks shocked and surprised. So what will he do? Will he instantly spill the beans to the teacher, owning up to his tendency to tell on himself? If he does that, what will happen to Yui? Who knows...And honestly, even if he were to tell, why would right now? That Taichi guy is around. "Hu-huh? O-oh right, I uh, Well you see, I uuuh..." he looks around nervously. "...*Sigh*" He hands his head. He seems somewhat defeated. "I, uh...gah...I followed a bird around and then...tripped and fell down the path...for a while." He points towards another path that had a somewhat steep slope, one that normally most people would be careful when walking on it. He did not point at the bush path, the one that led towards the village. "Fujin helped me out after that." He looks at Nimue, somewhat embarrassed from admitting about being lost after a simple bird watching gone wrong. He faces Yui and bows his head. "Sorry Fujin for dragging you into this."
Like hell he was gonna break that promise. Not around here at least. Not while that weird cult leader was around.
