Sumiko didn't want to be awake at this moment, but it seemed like fate was destined to keep her awake. It was a whole hour before they were even supposed to be awake to head out on their trip. It was still dark outside, not even dawn yet, but her anxiety and excitement about the trip made it hard to fall asleep again. Perhaps she'd be able to fall asleep on the bus, but at the very least she would have time to actually prepare herself a bit, unlike perhaps a lot of other students who would likely wake up right as they had to leave. Managing to take a shower and even clean her hair, Sumiko eventually got dressed and packed her things together into her bag that she was bringing with her. A few simple snacks to keep her fueled throughout the long day, as well as a fresh pair of clothes and a jacket that might come in handy.
It wasn't too difficult to quietly walk through the hallways of U.A. The second years certainly didn't need to get up nearly as early as they did, so making sure to be respectful of their rest was of the utmost of importance to the tattooed girl. After all, she would expect the same courtesy to be repaid to her in kind next year. Exiting the dorm building as one of the first students to step out into the open air, she easily noticed the four teachers that had already been waiting for them all to arrive. She could only imagine how early they had woken, or if any of them had just managed to arrive before she did. Not putting too much thought into the matter, Sumiko would simply wait patiently for everyone else to arrive until they were allowed onto the bus. Making sure with her early status that she got on first, an early memory from some western media began to surface a little bit, simply encouraging her to sit all the way in the back of the bus and settle in to make herself comfortable.
Of course, Sumiko was both thankful and perplexed over the darkened windows of the bus. On one hand, the darkness would allow her and some other students to catch up on some well deserved sleep. Many of her fellow students, and probably even her, were going to lean over and hit the metaphorical hay. However, not knowing their immediate destination or the route where they were going was certainly part of the test. The more she thought about it, however, it might also be for security reasons. Anyone looking into the side of the bus and noticing a bunch of faces from U.A. was like painting a target on them for all of Japan to see if anyone wanted to severely mess with them. Trusting her teachers and their security, Sumiko would pull her bag onto her lap and lean against the wall, making room for someone to sit beside her in the back seat if the truly needed room.
Closing her eyes for a moment, she let out a soft breath as she tried to calm down her own excitement. If she didn't catch any sleep on the way there, surely she would be exhausted when they finally got there. Still, she half expected at least a small few people to talk to each other. Convinced that she was probably going to end up in the middle of a conversation of some kind, Sumiko would keep her head up and wave at anyone who she assumed would be heading towards the back to join her. At the very least, a polite greeting was in order, even if she half-expected everyone to basically be akin to the walking undead at this point. Hell, she was halfway there.
OOC: Okay, so this is just supposed to be a quick thread until the event starts, which means we're going to use the 48 hour rule when it comes to posting orders. If someone doesn't reply, or know they can't respond in time, just inform the next person and things will continue. Perhaps your character fell asleep, just to make things simple.
