sometimes you want to go WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME
It had been quite some time since the event that had put the Fourth Corner's name on many more lips. The First Annual Music Night had come and gone, and now, the fine establishment returned to its usual routines. The usual customers and usual business, flowing in and out each night. And Delta Ivey, the Fourth Corner's owner, and bartender, couldn't be happier with that. She couldn't be happier with the life that the place was embodying! The single-story bar, located in the guts of Kabukicho, filled with a rustic and classic feel that permeated everything from the tables to the counter, was just as full of hearty and fulfilling feelings as always. This night, in particular, was a lively one. The usual suspects were strewn about the bar, drinking and laughing as they enjoyed the lovely alcoholic array that the establishment had to offer. Their selection had always been a source of pride for Delta, with some particular local delicacies being exclusive to her menu. Of course, her own skills as a bartender only helped with this, mixing and serving almost non-stop throughout the night. At present, she was stood behind the counter, passing off drinks and smiling with satisfaction to herself as she enjoyed the night's rush. The sounds of a soft jazz could be heard in the air, thanks to local talent who often provided live performances that underpinned the personal festivities her clientele engaged in. Of course, nothing would ever match the Music Night, but the customers didn't mind, as varied as they were. From salarymen to crooks to vigilantes on their night off, in Kabukicho, there was no telling who you'd run into. Of course, within her bar, they didn't cause any of their usual trouble. It was neutral territory, after all! No one would dare disrupt the liveliness of this glowing place, after all. If they did, Delta Ivey would have to give them quite the mouthing off! She'd four arms to smack them with, after all. Four arms that would be more than visible to whoever entered the bar, whether they be looking for a drink to relax or a friendly chat, would earn the smile of this odd woman. Her bright hair, lone amber eye, burned scar, and overabundance of limbs, made her an odd site. Of course, that wouldn't take away from her inherent warmth. A warmth that would shine through upon the bar's next entrant, to whom Delta would offer a wide grin and a hearty declaration. "Welcome to the Fourth Corner~"After all, no matter the reason, so long as they just added to the sheer life of the place, Delta would happily welcome them into her little home. 0000 WORDS |

Words: 630 It had been a hell of a long day, and Izanami was still sore from taking that that last Villain. She disliked fighting anyone with a Gigantification Quirk of some kind. It evened the playing field between them and her Dragon Form, and the ensuing battle tended to cause plenty of collateral damage. Thankfully this had occurred near the harbor, and Izanami had managed to knock the Villain into the bay, dragging him underwater and forcing him unconscious with minimal damage to the surrounding docks. While the police were grateful, the fight had left her looking for a place to kick up her feet and take the edge off.
She was a long way from her apartment in Aoyama, all the way over in Minato, Tokyo. Although... she wasn't that far from Kabukichō... and there was that bar she'd been told about. Izanami had heard up the grape vine, one of those friend of a friend of a friend type deals. One of her old Vigilante acquaintances knew about a happening bar tucked away in he heart of Kabukichō that had strong drink, good music, and the best atmosphere. Izanami figured it was at least worth a shot, so she retrieved her phone out of her belt pocket and looked up the text. She had a vague idea where the address lead too, and banked her wings hard to the west as she deviated her flight path towards TOkyo's most notable red light district.
A brief while later, Izanami touched down on the busy streets of Kabukichō, still in her violet Hero Costume. It was the only actual article of clothing she had that could survive the change in size when she transformed into a dragon. At present it was looking a bit less than pristine. But given how hectic the day had been, that was to be expected. She had duplicates back at her Hero Office, and this one could be repaired at a later occasion. Walking the streets, Izanami eventually found the entrance to the titular bar. It was kind of a hole in the wall compared to the bustling night clubs and less than reputable establishments that dotted Kabukichō. "Fourth corner..." Izanami said to herself, reading the sign out front. "Cute name."
Dragon Queen stepped inside, folding up her wings as she walked through the door. She immediately noted the smooth jazz and the easy going nature of the patrons at that filled the tavern. This was no raucous dive bar, that was for sure. Good, the last thing she wanted right now was to have to come between two hot headed drunks ready to square up over something stupid. Normally one for theatrics and grandiose introductions, Izanami felt like taking it easy tonight. She stepped up to the bar, being greeted by the four armed bartender. A rather attractive, and buxom, four armed lady in a seemingly steam punk outfit.
"Hello." Izanami said simply, mulling over what exactly she wanted to order. She wasn't much of a drinker, though she did partake on occasion. Though usually it was expensive champagnes or vintage wines at one of her father's business formals or her mother's extravagant dinner parties. "Hmm... What have you got that's sweet, has a kick to it, and I can down eight shots of without getting knocked flat on my tail?" As Izanami asked her request, eight long serpentine tendrils emerged from slits in her costume along her upper back. Snake like bodies with draconic heads the tendrils lazily coiled around the woman's arms, draped themselves over her shoulders, or stood alert, eyes gazing around surveying the bar. Their forked tongues flickering in and out as they tasted the air. Their owner flashed the bartender a fanged smile as she awaited her recommendations. ๑

It had been light into the night, Beverages had been consumed and carefully guiding around the room from time to time finding some fun yet as usually surprised conversation when drunk patrons got have a talk with a inebriated opossum. The idea if it a little more easy for people to accept in such a atmosphere as this. But when the liquor hit his gut, A combination of his own brew and hard scotch. He found himself feeling a little bit of angst and a tune shivering up his legs as well as from the tip of his tail all the way up his back. There had been a brief moment when the band had taken a small break. Possibly to relieve themselves or maybe to gain some refreshments of their own. This of course being when the fuzzy back possum would make his move. He wiggled his way up the stage and quickly upon the top of the Piano for where from the soul of some of the Jazz from earlier had been coming from. Holding a small shot glass under one arm he quickly took about half its contents in a strong swig down his throat. His body feeling relaxed and easy going in the moment. While this piano was bigger then his small home made instruments. He knew how to make do as he stood tall his feet stepping on a few keys. Moving lightly in a sway as he did so as a light bit of music begin to play flowing easily out as he used his feet and small hops at times to hit the needed keys on the right cue each time. A few surprised eyes when it was noticed looked towards him as he opened his mouth in his drunken state. An the wide grinned possum would in his inebriated state share a brief song after playing for a short time. The warmth in his gut making him a far more easy going and willing to go through with such a action. Choosing a truly old bit of play and song from times long passed and somewhat forgotten to the masses. But even so Perry knew how to appreciate good things. A good cigar and stiff scotch always went well with such somber music as this. An he intended to enjoy himself as he spouted out his attempt to recreate such music to the crown presently in the fourth corner.

So this was the fourth corner huh? Ketsu had heard plenty about this bar from his fellow co workers and some buzz surrounding it online. He checked out the reviews for it as he walked inside, they were pretty good. But nothing could prepare the ex-cop for the sight he was about to see, a possum in this fine establishment. Not only just hanging around and playing the piano, what in the world? He looked around to see if anyone else was reacting to this but they all were just chatting as if nothing was happening.
He decided to not do anything about it, maybe it was a person with a possum mutation? The world may never know, he went over to the bar area and sat down, the chair fit his behind perfect despite his rather large stature. He saw a familiar face over at the bar, it was a fellow pro hero. He didn't really know what to do since he was new to this kind of business.. he hadn't become one of the first pro heroes cause the government put him through some training to make sure he didn't lose control like he did that one time during his time as a police officer. But now his training was done and he was officially recognized in the eyes of the government he is a professional hero.
He was a bit happy, glad that he was finally going to allow himself some fun and relaxation and a chance to get to know people! He finally felt alive! He came up to the woman and pulled up a stool next to her and who seemed to be the bartender for tonight. He didnt really know much about her besides the fact that she was now a new pro in a small pool of them. "Well well, fancy running into a coworker here." he said with a small smile on his face. "Hey, mind letting me get a beer? What's on tap?" he said looking towards Delta "I like dark beers if ya got any." he said offering his nicest smile possible, hoping she'd let him get a discount since well...he hadn't exactly been paid yet.

sometimes you want to go WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME
The Fourth Corner attracted all kinds of customers, and Delta prided herself on being able to discern the different breeds of bargoer among the crowd. However, with some patrons, it wasn't exactly a challenge. Just as she'd passed off another beer to one customer, another made their entrance. Quite a striking woman, with features that were rather literally draconian. Such openness with a Quirk of that nature was the subtler clue to her occupation. The vibrant violet suit she wore was the biggest giveaway. A Professional Hero was present. Who else would wear such a costume? It would be the less likely possibility to assume she was some kind of performer. After all, in Kabukicho, one didn't dress so daringly unless they were confident in their ability to defend themselves. Of course, Delta knew she wasn't any other kind of Vigilante or Villain either. Villains these days had much more subdued costumes, and Vigilantes... Well, she didn't meet many of them in costume. "Hello, dear~" Delta would hum warmly as the dragon lady approached the bar, those odd tendrils of hers emerging and eyeing the place. The woman sought the bartender's expertise when it came to what to drink, giving Delta pause as she thought for a moment. "Ah, how about a Lemon Drop? It's a sweet little shot, how many you can take is something for you to decide, dear~" The four-armed woman declared with a little chuckle. She'd seen proud men get knocked flat on their ass, and the same amount of drinks leave shorter girls standing strong. Alcohol tolerance wasn't something she could discern from appearance alone! If the woman liked the sound of the drink, Delta would begin preparing it, making the most of her four arms. The upper two would prepare the vessel, retrieving a chilled cocktail glass and a lemon slice from her stash behind the counter. Preparing the glass was just a simple matter of rimming the glass, using a lemon slice rubbed around the rim before she rolled it in sugar. Her upper arms, meanwhile, would prepare the drink itself, using glasses and materials she had at the counter. 2 ounces of vodka, a bit less than 1 ounce of lemon juice, and half an ounce of syrup in a mixer. Shake it with ice, then strain it into the glass she'd prepared. Use the lemon slice she'd rubbed the rim with as a garnish, and present the drink to her waiting customer. "Enjoy, dear~" Delta said, a smile of self-assured pride at her own work, and the spectacle of mixing a drink with four arms. Now that some liquor was on her lips, the bartender was actually quite keen on talking with the newest patron, though something else caught her attention first. Some drunken cheers from one end of the bar, some of her regulars spotting a curious creature having taken his position upon the piano, as he began a musical performance that was sure to both confound and impress the audience. Delta just chuckled lightly to herself. "Oh dear, it seems a business partner of mine has taken the stage~ Well, he's not a bad performer, at least~" The woman said cheekily, seemingly not perturbed at all by the possum's presence! Another voice would grab her attention back, however, as quite a large man sat beside the draconian lass. A co-worker, it seemed. How interesting! Delta would have to chat with them for sure, but first, the man needed a beer. A dark one, at that. Though Japan was known for its lighter, crisper beers, Delta was fortunate enough to have something on tap for the man. "How about a Sapporo Black? Japan's leader in the darker side~" The woman declared playfully. If he was up for it, she'd get him a pint, passing it off to him with a smile. And no current intention to give a discount! "So, co-workers, hmm? I suppose Pro Heroes need a chance to relax after a hard day's work, keeping the peace and all that?" The woman lead in with a casual question, evidently not finding too odd at all that these symbols of justice were looking for a nice drink. They were, after all, just more civil servants at the end of the day. Having dealt with a few of those, Delta could understand how government work might lead one to need a drink! 0000 WORDS |

Words: 650 The bartender gave her suggestion, and Izanami was quick to nod in agreement. "You're the expert, eight Lemon Drops then... one for each head." Izanami said with a smirk, already reaching into a belt pocket for her money. Izanami watched the woman work, four arms moving in perfect harmony to pour the drinks at a rate that'd make several bartenders jealous with envy. "Impressive coordination..." Dragon Queen said with an appreciative smile. "You're rather good at mixing multiple drinks at once."
"I can empathize with controlling extra limbs, never as easy as it looks." She added with a giggle, pointing at the assortment of appendages sprouting from her back. Though in truth her serpent tendrils were semi-autonomous. Even now, she was letting their vestigial brains do most of the thinking. Effectively, the serpents were on auto pilot. Though she wished she could say the same for her wings and tail, those had taken years to fully get used to when they first developed.
"I plan to!" Izanami replied eagerly as the drinks were laid out in front of her. Each one of her tendrils coiled around a glass, tipping them back in unison into another's waiting mouth. Izanami grimaced slightly, the alcohol was more intense tasting it with eight different tongues at once. She blinked several times and exhaled a puff of black smoke from her nostrils. "Well... that certainly had kick to it." The woman added with a laugh. "Good thing I'm flying home!" She said with a chuckle, knowing she'd be really feeling the effects soon enough.
The bartender commented on her business partner taking to the stage, and Izanami couldn't help but turn to investigate. To her surprise, and to her dismay, it seemed some kind of strange furry animal was the one behind the performance. About as big as a house cat and twice as ugly, it sent a shiver down the woman's spine. Looking around though, none of the other bar patrons seemed particularly bothered by this strange sequence of events. The bartender was completely unphased, so Izanami could only conclude this was a regular occurrence. She simply shook her head and turned her attention back to the bar. She had seen stranger things, not many, but she had.
Her attention quickly shifted as a tall, and rather handsome man sat down besides her. "Coworker?" Izanami said with a flirtatious smile. "I didn't take you for a Pro, you're either new to this or you don't swing by Minato ward very often. That's my usual stomping grounds." Izanami stuck out a hand to shake, one of her serpent tendrils coiled around it contently, like a snake resting on a tree branch. "Dragon Queen, and it's a pleasure to meet you." She said warmly, giving the man a teasing wink. "Though you can me Izanami Ryū, Darling." The woman was never one to turn down a little lighthearted flirting between coworkers. She had a thing for her fellow Pro-Heroes, the men always had such toned and muscular physiques from an active lifestyle of training and fighting crime.
"You could say that." Izanami said to the bartender, nodding in agreement with her statement. "I only heard about the place on recommendation. Kabukichō is a little out of the way compared to my usual territory this time of night, but I happened to be in the neighborhood. I actually heard about this place from a friend of a friend, I've had it on my radar for a while now." Izanami rolled her neck, arching her back as she worked out a good stretch. "Something like that." She remarked on keeping the peace. "Though sometimes it feels like that just means knocking Villains down a few pegs while the police stand around and watch. You would not believe the day I've had..." Just the thought of it made her consider ordering another drink. ๑

Ketsu had been listening to the girls talk at first as it seemed that they welcomed him into their conversation. It was nice, his hair stood a bit on edge thought, not because he found them attractive since he preferred the company of men. But because he was not much of a talker, he was plain and simple. That was until the booze began to flow and then you cant get him to shut the heck up, he stayed quiet until her and delta turned their attention back to him. He let out a small chuckle as she mentioned her not knowing of him just yet, "Well I'd hope you didnt know about me. Both of those apply to me, I just became a pro recently. I still havent had my debut aside from basic patrols." he said as he nodded his head to delta and took the dark beer. "Thanks~ Sapporo is great." he said with a small cocky smile.
He took a sip before continuing the conversation "Also I've never really gone by the Minato ward." he said letting out a small aaahhh noise after drinking his beer. "This is real good. Miss Keeper, do you mind if I open a tab instead?" he said jokingly with her "Cause these might be a bit too good to control myself." he said joking around a bit further with the woman, she seemed like the type he could play around with. He turned his attention back to izanami and listened to her continue to talk he extended his hand to shake hers and decided to be a little cheeky. Using a thin layer of blood near his next he moved it over and mimicked the little serpent that was on her own hand.Izanami and delta would be able to notice the black liquid substance moving around his arm and making a little snake head, albeit a bit more "chibi" instead. The animated little serpent went back up into his shirt and made his regular "tattoo" back onto his body. "Seems so miss bar keep, I havent had my start yet so im just celebrating. Why? What happened today?" he asked Izanami curiously, he wanted to get some insight on what kind of business pro's get into since he was still new.
As she spoke he'd turn his attention back over, watching the possum play..still mesmerized by exactly how the hell that situation was even possible.

God, I'm tired. Aight so...so...sososososos....hmmmmmmmm. What....to....do...
Here she was. Holding a bag, with burnt flesh slowly regenerating, Libra was simply relaxing in the back of an alley waiting for her to stop to clean up and get going.
Alright, not really, that was somewhat of a lie. She was indeed relaxing, but not out in an alley. She was inside a small apartment. A barely kept apartment. An apartment that once belonged to someone that she repurposed as her 'special' place. Why the hell would she put her stuff related to her killing hobby in her own place? That's stupid and opens up a lot of trouble if someone she knows ever finds the mask there. So she rather put more effort in keeping this place barely passable and make it also her mini hideout for stuff. It's not really complex either, the previous person who lived here, now conveniently a corpse and whose identity she's using as a sort of protection. She places her clothes on a futon as she looks at her arms. Seems to be good; the gray skin's gone, her body isnt hurting, and its slowly being more and more blurry and its all reverting back to red-ah right, she's blind when untransformed. How could she have forgotten, doy. Luckily, today wasn't really a busy day so she can reserve some energy to let her accelerate her eyes and keep some vision until she gets back home. It's gonna be annoying when she's walking among the crowd, hearing all that noise. She shakes her head as she chuckles, preparing to clean up and put away the Libra stuff for tonight.
Exiting the apartment secretly and adjusting her glasses, Tachibana rejoins the crowd as she slightly taps her ears. Gah, this ambiance. She expected it, but still. Her eyes wander around as she notes a lot of stuff. Drinking seems nice and appealing, but at the same time she's far away from the usual places she frequents. She muses on the possibility of entering some random place when her eyes land on something. 'Fourth Corner,' huh? She's heard some stuff about this from coworkers. Good drinks. Funny looking gals and guys. Always seems like a fun time here....Fuck it, why not. She adjusts her glasses and smirks, entering the bar.
First thing's first: AW SHIT, A RAT, PLAYING THE PIANO. BANGING. Alright that's kinda weird but she has met a talking penguin, could be the same deal. Singing too. Neato. Second thing: 4 arm gal and big guy. Neat. Third thing: smug ass dragon gal there. Not neat. Fourth thing (ehehehehhe, fourth thing, fourth corner. Tachibana giggles to herself thinking about this). It's loud. Alright maybe its not really loud, but for her ears while using this weakened form of her quirk? It's loud. She can pick up some talk. Some couple over there are talking about where to go next date. That one is talking about some thing they saw on tv. That 4 arm gal is...eh its harder to hear in this state, she'll just get closer and get something to drink.
As the three on the bar area chat, she comes by and sits opposite of the big guy. She don't wanna sit next to dragon gal, she's too smug as if it was some sort of aura around her. "Yo. Sorry for interrupting on you two talking, which is probably great and all, but you got anything nice? Preferably red colored?" She looks at the 4 arm gal as she rests on the chair, sighing at the two heroes. "Eh-eh, sorry, It's just been a long day." Their voices are so grating. She would normally like that but right now she's just poofed out. She adjusts her glasses so they don't notice her afflicted eye bags.

It was with great quick foot work that one could almost call a tap dance of a display. That Perry's feet glided across the piano keys playing the old smooth music. The sweet old style of sound washing out as he seemed relaxed by it as well as others. Smiles and a few giggles coming about as often happened when the small furry fellow got drunk in this place from time to time. Usually enjoying himself now and again around the times he'd deliver a few cases of his special brew he'd been perfecting over the recent months.
When he was done he found himself sitting lightly on the small chair near the Piano scratching his fuzzy bum briefly as his tail swayed around him and the normal band slowly began returning from their little break. Like a mischievous child he skittered away from the stage to the floor and quickly to the bar. Almost looking like a child who'd done wrong snickering along his path. Or a small animal fleeing as the masters of the house returned. Of course it wasn't really all that bad what he'd done.
Small tips and taps echoed about as he neared the bar. Skittering up a bar stool that thudded lightly wobbling from his weight briefly. An again briefly a he leaped from the stoop top to the top of the bar. A small nose and fuzzy body skittering along the bar up to the counter and bar tender who seemed to be handling a few interesting folks as it were. He sniffed around on his way as well grabbing a thankfully still clean ash tray. Flipping it and plopping it down on the bar next to a bowl of peanuts near the whole crowd. Not saying anything right away merely sitting on the overturned ash tray and cracking a peanut or two now and again along the edge of the bowl as if cracking eggs. Gnawing on the small peanuts with a open mouthed chew much like how his people ate.
"A small bit of scotch in a shot glass for me please!... Singing so does make it harsh on my little throat! It gets all scratchy and 'cough' itchy ya know?." Giving Delta a saddened grin after his feint cough pretending to have a itchy throat in his plea to gain liquor. The small marsupial had a way of always chasing over a strong drink now and again. The creature himself perhaps loosely fitting the definition of a alcoholic in his own way. While he'd wait and make such a argument though with sad eyes at the bar owner. He somewhat defeated his own argument as he pulled out a small cigar from his pouch on his belly. About half the size of a human cigarette producing a small match as well. The only one of each he had on him at the moment. His small pouch not very big after all. The sound of fire sparking heard as he slid the match across the peanut bowl and lit the smoke letting it somewhat hang from one side of his mouth thanks to his large possum grin. Cracking another peanut and roasting it as well for a few moments over the flame of the match before it would need to be snuffed. Roasting his peanut to delicious perfection.
The small critter whistling and humming as he waited. Letting out a little tune as the small fire roasted his treat while waiting for liquor. Small puffs of smoke slowly building around him and rising towards the air above him. The image of it all looking like he belonged in some painting like the dogs playing poker or something.

sometimes you want to go WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME
"The result of experience, my dear. Nothing more, nothing less." Delta would respond to compliments regarding her ability to mix multiple drinks at once. Evidently, the dragon woman had her own experiences controlling numerous appendages, which the bartender could quite plainly see at a glance. Once her drinks were laid out for the woman and her head(s), Delta wore a look of plain pride at the enjoyment her customer found. The comical puff of smoke and following joke had Delta chuckling to herself too. "Glad you enjoyed~ Do be careful on your way home, don't want to hit any birds~" The woman said cheekily. Though, truthfully, having a Pro Hero flying under the influence after being in her bar wasn't the worst publicity. After all, if she could sell a performing possum and his specially brewed alcohol, she could probably make being a favored haunt of Heroes quite profitable. Particularly when they seemed to come in groups, the larger man seeming unfamiliar but a still cordial with the draconian lass. Their little interaction also let Delta learn one of their names. Izanami Ryu, though her coworker didn't return with his own proper greeting. He did, however, open up a tab. "Of course dear, I'll open one up under the name...?" She said, leaving a pause for him to give his own title, or however he wanted to be called. Once that was done, she targeted a question at the pair of Pros, earning quite a talkative response from Izanami. "A friend of a friend, hmmm? I'm happy to hear our name's spreading across a few lips~" The four-armed lass said with a grin. The First Annual Music Night had been quite helpful in making people more aware of the bar, which gave Delta an almost overwhelming contentedness and satisfaction. Like just about every other patron who she talked with, Izanami seemed to have a few complaints about her job. "I see, I see, do tell~" She'd reply, naturally curious about the 'day' that Izanami had mentioned. The larger lad, who seemed to be a bit wetter behind the ears compared to his coworker, was just as intrigued. However, before any storytelling could begin, another customer in dark glasses approached the bar. One who seemed, from that fact, to be blind. That was surprisingly unique, really. As was the fact she asked for something red. "Ah, right away dear~" The four-armed woman would reply, wondering if maybe this woman wasn't blind? Or was the woman asking for something red just a joke? Either way, Delta didn't see how she'd know if it was red, but obliged anyway. "One Jolly Rancher, coming right up~"With her deft 4 hands at work again, she grabbed a glass and added some green apple vodka and peach schnapps. She simple topped it with cranberry juice and stirred before serving the most classic and adored 'red' drink she could think of! "I do hope the color is to your liking~"The counter was only getting to get more crowded as the bar's performer made his way over, seating himself on an ashtray before asking for a shot of scotch. "Ah, but of course, a performer must be at his peak, no? So long as he is, of course, a paying customer still~" She said not so subtly as she grabbed him a shot glass and poured him some scotch. The bartender chuckled lightly to herself as she watched him grab up the cigar and act about as human as he always did. The Pro Heroes had been interesting enough, but now things were getting even weirder. That was exactly what Delta loved about The Fourth Corner. "So, interesting nights for you all?"0000 WORDS |

The friendly bar keep asked him for a name to use for the tab. Oh, right you need to give her that, he couldnt use his pro name for this could he? He let out a small grin "Ketsueki Gyoza, yes like the dumpling" he said with a small chuckle always enjoying how silly his last name was. He was at least lucky he liked eating Gyoza since it was pretty good. "Speaking of Gyoza are there any? i'd love some with the beer" he chuckled a bit.
Suddenly the small possum he thought was a hallucination came up to the bar and began to speak...he sat there in disbelief, wow you really can do anything with quirks huh? Even make a talking possums be a real thing...was he a human made into a possum or a possum made to have human intelligence...Oh god, his head hurt from this logic. He didn't really pay attention to the stranger who just popped up out of nowhere, not really ignoring on purpose he just didn't really know what to say to her or even the possum for that matter. He wasn't the greatest when it came to talking to strangers or women in general. He took another sip of his beer before looking around and seeing if he could spot any men to flirt with, he was bored and needed someone to flirt with tonight....sadly this bar seemed to be full of ladies tonight..how drole.. "Somewhat interesting. Not a cute man in sight here..looks like I wont be able to celebrate with a cute man." he said as also decided to let izanami know not to flirt with him because she was barking up a tree that would fall on her.

Jolly rancher, deadass seriously? Alright sure, fuck it. Might as well chug it down. Once she sets it down near her, she carefully moves her arm around to look for it and grab on it. While her quirk is slightly active, she still has to put up the appearances of, ya know, being blind. She adjusts the shades so no one can see the gray patches of skin under her eyes. "Thanks I guess." She grumpily draws it near her lips and slowly sips it. Pausing a bit, she realizes something...this is pretty good. Way too sweet (oh god her taste buds are fucking dying, fuck fucking, gaaaaaaaaaaaaa-) but still kinda tasty. She nods side to side, savoring the flavor with her slightly enhanced sense of taste, taking it all in. "..." She then proceeds to down it in one shot, in front of everyone. Slowly but surely, she drowns her mouth in the red concoction, ruining her accelerated taste buds even further. Imagine a really sweet treat. Now multiply that by 100. That's how her mouth is feeling right now. Not that she cares. Well she does care, but still.
Sighing and adjusting her glasses, the heavy set frames hide her pupils slowly turning redder, a result of mentally associating the drink with 'red' and triggering her quirk a little. Luckily, still no grey patches of skin popping on her face. It's all carefully hidden behind these frames. "...Not bad." She mutters. She turns her head to the other people there. Izanami sounds like like someone who thinks they're All Thattm , while the heavy-built guy seems like he's striking out as we speak. She responds to the bartender's question with a tired "Eeeh. Lot of paper work. You two probably get it." She then turns her head to the other side, hearing some piano music being played. "A lot of cases involving property damage here...it's really annoying who to defend or who to prosecute. Kinda annoying, but it's all part of the job." She plays with the empty glass, slowly swaying it back and forth. "A bit dull, but it gets the bills paid."
She looks at Ketsueki's direction with an amused smirk, starting to get a bit inebriated. "You got high standards, man. You'll never gonna find anything like that here. At every bar, it's mainly women and drunk old businessmen. Maybe you should go look at a library or the park if you wanna find your mark." She slightly jokes as she chuckles a bit.

The small puffs of his cigar came in small rings of smoke that slowly lifted from where he sat. Rising to the air in lifting building a small cloud that slowly drifted towards the ceiling of the place before dissipating back into nothing. Wagging the match out as he crunched and munched his small roasted peanut in the side of his large possum jaws and grin. The cigar lightly wagging now and again in his mouth but always holding firm in the edge of his mouth much like one might expect from a classic smoker.
He held both hands around the shot glass and briefly lifted it taking a small but smooth down gulp of his scotch. Giving a gasp and approving refreshed nod after plopping it back on the table. The shot glass would keep him taken care of for a bit given his size and consumption. "Now that hits the spot." Sipping it again as he watched the people chatting at the bar. Small beady black eyes that were hard to read watching them both as he softly bellowed smoke in their direction. Nursing his scotch and relaxing on his stool that was composed of the small over turned ashtray.
