Shizume Stradivarius
Hibiki the Demon Bard Class 1-B Beatbox Word Count/Total: 342/342
Clad in the traditional Armor of those most loyal to the royalty. Those willing to lay down everything, Lift up the downtrodden, and clean up any messes made by those who thier loyalty is pledged. Shizume steps onto the field of battle with board and weapon in hand. Her armor, black and white as it was for all her fellow compatriots. White head dressing adorned her hair as the shined black leather footwear clicked on her warplane.
Welcome the the Cursed War Zone of…
HONEY HONEY MAID CAFE!
“I will be there in just a second, for the wonderful Master that has beckoned.” Shizume smiled as she looked across the restaurant. She was given the high school crowd today, only her second day there. Fortunately, there wasn’t a group from U.A. that stops here. Apparently after some misfortune last year, U.A. students have seen this place is cursed. She wasn’t aware of the students or the incident, plus. She wanted the money for testing and building purposes. She had finally found a wood shop in town that sold the supplies for her ultimate dream. But wood was really expensive. Why? It literally grew on trees.
Doing a skip run between tables, Shizume in braided pigtails, gleefully took orders. Her rhyming wasn’t seen as an annoyance here. More of a cute personality quirk that delighted the patrons. Her European origins also struck a few of the older crowd she helped with the tables at. After delivering a couple glasses of honey Milk to the table, she heard the door chime in. Since she was the closest, It was finally her turn. Spinning on her heels and going to a straight pose , she held the tray down in front of her. “Welcome Home, Master! I shall attend to you faster.” As much as she tried in her head, she could not not rhyme. She even read just the unrhymed customary phrase over and over again. Glossing over the lesson on Italian today in class to practice. But. Nope. She still rhymed it.

The typical response to being told "oh hey theres a cafe around I just saw, you wanna go to it?" is "why."
Back at the dorms, hanging in the general area, the chronicler of the world looks at his blue haired friend with slight confusion. He wasn't sure how he found it, but apparently there was a cafe that had some good stuff in it. He himself never entered, just that it had a funny and weird name. The chronicler isn't that convinced, however. "...Why 'honey?' Twice, even? Isn't that like...redundant? If they want to promote their wares, why do it in that manner? Just do Honey once." Honey Honey something cafe. He couldn't remember the last part of it, all he heard is that it had nice treats and drinks. Kaz looks at his friend. "...Hmmm. Well...I suppose it wouldn't do much harm. Perhaps it's fine to have a new experience of sorts....still, going to a different cafe is a bit odd. I hope you know what you're getting us into, Levin."
First warning sign: Kabukicho. He's heard weird stories about this place. Apparently this is where a lot of crime happens. Like...drugs. And also weird bad things like...gah, he doens't want to think about it. Still, they were going during the day and therefore should not really face that sort of thing, unless of course some random thug walks by and kicks the living daylights out of them, or worse, rob them. No, they had nothing to really worry about.
Honey Honey...Maid Cafe.
Kaz looks at it with the absolute confusion and distain someone of his nature would have. "...Nope." He tries to leave but Isaac stops him. "....Gaaaaaaaaaah, don't want any part of this weird stuff..." He mutters under his breath. As much as he's all for new experiences, he's not much for this kind of experience. Whatever, it can't be bad. He opens the door to be greeted to the first made and-
...Kaz looks a bit confused at the person who greeted them. She looks familiar. Oh well. Damn it Levin, didn't know you were into that..why. he thought while his eyes narrowed down to a fed up and serious expression.

"Haunted cafe? Huh." Isaac mumbled to himself after hearing some other students talking among themselves. The idea of a haunted cafe sounded cool but after a quick online search he found out the place was actually opened and not just some abandoned place. "Since when can a successfully ran business be haunted?" He asked himself entering the dorms. The curiosity began to overwhelm him and he was half tempted in going but he had to bring someone with him to keep him on track and help if he got into trouble or vice versa. Since this whole thing was giving him some classic horror story vibes going alone basically spelled death so he needed to rope some unsuspecting student to come with him with little to no reason.
Oh hey it's kaz.... Maybe this is a sign?
Of course though once he asked Kaz he had about a million questions about the question but most were his usual chronicler questions like why it had honey in the name twice. "What? I dunno! Ask them when you're there." he responded which was just enough to convince Kazu to come with him.
"I hop you know what you're getting us into Levin." Deciding not to respond to that Isaac instead just had a silly grin on his face as he led the way to the cafe.
Thank god for modern technology or else this place woulda been hard to find. Granted Isaac was pretty used to the city streets and he had crossed the cafe a few time but he never paid it much mind. He even didn't know it was a maid cafe, otherwise he probably woulda been there more. Now with his mind shifted from Ghost Monsters to Girly Maids he looked to Kaz to see how he'd respond. Naturally the novice went to run away. "Oh no you don't." He said grabbing his classmate by the scruff of his neck. "It's only weird if you let it be. Now c'mon."
Entering the establishment even Isaac was surprised by the place. It was almost too much even for his tastes. Once they passed the threshold the two students were greeted by an enthusiastic maid who spoke in rhyme which nearly tripped Isaac up. "Oh uh, thanks. Table for two please." He said with a polite smile. Being overly lecherous or flirty in a place like this usually got you slapped, or so he was told... Anyway he looked back to his friend with a look that seemed to say Holy crap man we hit the jackpot but god only knew how Kaz was gonna reply

Chikako was coming here to meet up with a middle school 'friend' that had recently sent her a text. Though, after waiting twenty or so minutes nearby, it seemed like it was just another gag on Chikako from the people she used to be with. It did not surprise her, but she was hoping with the even slightest hope that they could have had a change of heart just like how she was trying to change herself. 'People cannot be the same forever, can they?', she thought to herself and looked around putting her phone away that she was staring at for a good while. 'Hmm, the guy that texted me was one of the middle school sweethearts, doubt he would have time for me anyway. I was kidding myself', she thought to herself and put her phone away.
She looked at the cafe that they were supposed to meet up at and shrugged, she grabbed her book bag and walked in."Might as well get something to eat while I am here", she said as her stomach began to rumble. Bumping into the back of Kaz. She silently took a step back and bowed an apology. She looked up at the teenager, she was a very small person and very thin. To her, he was a giant. "Uh, sorry", she said as she lowered her head a bit.

Shizume Stradivarius
Hibiki the Demon Bard Class 1-B Beatbox Word Count/Total: 282/624
Looking towards those who entered, the music could not overpower the mood. The very first person she ever greeted as a Maid. The absolute inaugural Master.
It
Was
Kazu
Not even the chirpy happy music of the cafe could supress her emotions right now as slowly her smile faded. Her eyes looked right to the cashier stand. In her head, God is Dead.
Fortunatly Isaac was there to snap her back into this new Godless reality. While her eyes were pretty normal, her smile only reached 90%. Just as she was about to walk them to their table. Another U.A. student strolled in and bumped into the back of Kaz. She was cute. And this brought her smile up to 95%. “Welcome Home Mistress. You are with them I guess?” It took her a second but she suddenly realized who the girl was. She wasn’t as well versed in JSL as she should have been but she would give it her best shot. Part of being a maid was putting others needs before your own. Especially those of your Mistresses and Masters. Yes even Kaz.
Her hands shifted her serving tray over so she held it with her left and her right hand came up to mouth level. With a slow movement as she attempted to move through the right motions, she asked <Mistress Safaia, are you joining Master Levin and Fureu today? If not I shall get them out of your way.> She may have had to air draw a few Kanji, but even her signing rhymed. She had to wait for a response though as a table for two and a booth for three were available in different areas.

"Hmm? Ah, no worries." he replies back to the sudden appearance of Chikako. "Hmm...believe I have seen you on campus before...well, it need not matter the specifics. Fellow UA students should sit together." He smiles back, doing a thumbs up to indicate his seriousness in this request. He narrows his eyes at Isaac. If she replies yes, he'll tell him to add another chair. If not, hopefully they sit near other so they can have some idle conversation as many students do in a maid cafe, clearly not looking at the maid outfits. Still, once she gives their answer, they'll probably be led by Shizume to their table and then they can start ordering something and-
Hmm hold on a second.
Kaz's face becomes confused. Mentally rewind a bit...wait no she's right in front of them. What is Shizume doing here. Crap, that's why she looked familiar. Only she would find a way to make a simple greeting rhyme for some reason...also her general hair color and her voice was a key indicator. He was too busy being disappointed in Isaac that he didn't directly connect the two together. Why was she here? Did she work here? Well she kinda had to since she greeted them and also did some weird motions with her hand to the gi- ah wait that was...that was sign language...an-anyway. He doubts they'll let weird cosplayers in or else they get mixed up by the maid servers...it would be way weirder if it turned out she was a weird cosplayer who dressed up as a maid in cafes. "...hmm." He simply notes it down mentally. No need to ask her now, she's probably on the clock or whatever. He'll simply ask her later why she picked a maid cafe of all places to be in

Isaac didn't know who the girl was that bumped into Kaz but she she too was wearing a U.A uniform so she was obviously a student too. That was clear to see even from a glance. His glance soon turned to a wide eyed stare at Kaz who had somehow seamlessly asked this stranger to sit with them. That was something Isaac even had troubling doing with absolute strangers. How fast was he picking up on things?! How much of an influence am I having on Kaz?! Well that remained to be seen and thinking more on it his 1-B classmate was probably too clueless to realize what he had done.
Speaking of clueless he also didn't quite seem to understand how Shizume felt about the whole situation about serving them. Granted the Irish lad had no idea of who this girl was either but her general happy forensically maid persona quickly vanished when she locked her eyes onto Kaz. Yet another one of his victims... Luckily though Isaac's own charm managed to bring the girl back to her senses and even the sight of Chikako looked like it helped the girl from having a total crisis right here and now. Meanwhile Kaz had a pretty blank expression on his face like he was thinking way too hard about something. Maybe he still had the mystery on his mind? Well regardless of that the mission had changed now! Who cared about a mystery while they were in a friggen maid cafe!
After another Rhyming song that Isaac just managed to get the meaning of he spoke "Thanks sweetheart, we'll take that one if you don't mind." He said with a chipper smile on his face to Shizume. He then pointed over to a booth that could sit the three of them and a fourth should another arrive. "I agree with Kaz, the more the merrier." He would say to Chikako with a similarly friendly smile. "Besides, I don't think we've met yet and nows a good a time as any. Isaac Levin nice to meet you." After totally forgetting that he introduced himself in the english way he waited for a response from anyone really.

Chikako Saiafa was a little relieved to learn that the two people in front of her were not going to beat her to a pulp like she thought they were going to, in fact, she thinks she heard that they were students of the same school that she went to. Though she was reclusive, she did know for a fact that none of them were from 2-c, as that was the class she often attended. Letting out a sigh of relieving she looked at her hands and then up to Kaz, her hearing was acting up badly today so she was a little confused about what he was saying and stared at him blankly for a little while trying to process what he was offering to her as quickly as she could. 'together' was the only word she heard and it could mean a multiple of things, together as in sitting together or together as in he is together with the guy beside him? She decided it was most likely the prior, as it made more sense in the context of the situation and nodded towards him, hoping she did not look like an utter fool of herself.
Then, a blue-haired girl, one that seemingly glistened at the sight of Chikako, began signing towards her. She was surprised, watching in astonishment that she knew that Chikako was hard of hearing while never meeting her, maybe they had met prior but Chikako did certainly not remember that encounter with the other girl, she even knew Chikako's name! She promptly signed back to the girl, she noticed how slow the girl was signing so she took it as a sign that she was not the strongest in her JSL and made sure she signed at the same pace towards the girl so she did not sign to fast for the girl to keep up with Chikako, after all, if she could not understand what Chikako was saying then what would be the point of signing at all? "Hello, do I know you from somewhere? Sorry, but I do not remember encountering you before. I apologize if I have. Yes, I will be sitting with them, it would be rude of me to not accept their hospitality. Anyway, Nice to meet you, may I get your name? I would give mine, but you seem to know it.", she smiled at her briefly in a shy way and giggled before looking up at the other two males and looked away. She hugged the sketchbook she had tightly to her breasts and looked back to Levin.
She heard him speak, but she was not sure what he said at all. ' "Merrier" and "Isaac", what could it mean? Is that his name?", she tilted her head to the male and nodded "Nice to meet you, Merrier Issac-san", she said with a semi-tone-deaf voice as she anxiously began to shake a bit, hoping the answer she gave was right. That was the big issue with intuition, sometimes it was wrong and her 'guesses' were most definitely wrong sometimes, she was no psychic. This was one of those times. "I am Chikako Saiafa, of class 2-C, I am fourteen years old but please don't look down on me for my age", she said with her tone-deaf voice becoming a little anxious as her anxiety began to flare up, she was not very good around people. She had improved much since she first came here, she does not cry and seclude herself anymore, but it certainly was not a problem that was going to go away in one forenight. Certainly, not without improving all of her other problems she knew she had about herself.

Shizume Stradivarius
Hibiki the Demon Bard Class 1-B Beatbox Word Count/Total: 329/953
The confusion on Kaz’s face after accepting Chikako to their table hit a lot of nerves, as a baseball bat would. She was then called sweetheart by Kaz’s keeper and that was the baseball that the bat missed. But here she was in a maid café. It wasn’t exactly the type of place one would go off on feminist values of not calling a woman sweetheart. She was literally there to serve. He then made an introduction to them as Isaac Levin. Oh, another EU citizen. She had seen a few of them but he was the first one she had met.
When Chikako started to sign toward her, she watched the hand and mentally translated. When she asked about how she knew her. Shizume removed the frilled lace wristlet and held her hand up, showing her U.A. Wrist band. A way of warning the management who was a student of the school for some reason she only heard in hushed whispers. Her hand then went to signing to her. “We haven’t met yet, but recognizing you is a safe bet. I manipulate the sound in the air, and you do not react with the same flair. I am Stradivarius Shizume. If you like, I can assist your hearing today.”
Shen then lifted her tray up and moved her hand to the side, speaking out to everyone. “Mistress and Masters, Shall I show you to your table near the Asters?” While it may have seemed like a stretch just for a rhyme, the table for the three of them was next to a small planter filled with daisy like Flowering herbs that was being grown for the fall dishes. She had taken the time during the short walk to reattach her maid cuff and lightly bowed her head as they sat down. The menu boards on the table laid out in front of them before they even got there. She just took the extra one and extra silverware set.

Yup, the more is indeed the merrier. More people to talk to, and more people to discuss their issues with. And more people to try to ignore any maids nearby because, come on Levin, why the hell are we still here. Can we leave? Just...go out to another cafe and get some delicious tea? Just head out of this door, plain and simple. Blam, right there. The door is right there. Let's ditch this place, make Shizume less angry, and just head out their merry way-gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, why did he ask her to accompany them, and why did Isaac tell him it was fine. He dug himself in this hole.
"No his name is..." He mutters but he shakes his head. Eh, it doesn't involve him. "An-anyway. Nice to meet you. Kazu Furue is my name." He looks at Shizume now. How would they treat this? Treat her like a friend or an employee? Hmm....think in this case, it would be proper to act as a customer, even if he really doesn't want to be here. He really really really doesn't want to be here, why the hell is he still here. Just leave, Kaz. Just leave right here and right now. "Ah well...Alright." Asters? The direction where she was gesturing at had a table near a planter with flowers in them. That looks nice, suppose this maid cafe isn't completely horrible. As Shizume guides the trio, he looks at Isaac. "Well, after you, Merrier." he says with a slight hint of snakiness.
As they sit down, she hands out the menus and the silverware. "Hmmm...." He looks at the menus. What kind of stuff would a maid cafe give out? Would it just be a normal cafe's wares? "Hmmm, for now I'll just have what kind of Green Teat you think is good. A lot of choices on this menu. What are you getting, Levin?"

Merrier Isaac-san? What? No! God is my Japanese really that bad?! Thought the young irish boy as Chikako replied to him. The idea that the girl may be hard of hearing had not even crossed his mind. He just assumed that the signs Shizume was making was just flare or maybe so that other people who weren’t that good at Japanese like Isaac could understand! Even when Chikako signed back to her Isaac was still oblivious. Even when she spoke Isaac didn’t assume the obvious. Her tone of voice just went over his head as she introduced herself. Isaac was never one to judge people too quickly or harshly for that matter, especially when it came to the opposite gender. At most he assumed she was shy, even though she did willingly take them up on their offer to eat with them.
Kaz introduced himself next while Shizume began to sign again. He was about to correct Chikako about his name too but for some weird reason decided not to. Isaac was looking at Shizume signing and quite frankly was concentrating a little too hard on it so he didn’t misunderstand anything so he didn’t bother to correct either of them just yet. As she signed on, eventually Isaac pieced together that their new companion for the evening was hard of hearing since the maid said or um signed that she could be her ears. That’s what she meant right? WHY IS WRITTEN JAPENSE SO HARD?!
Having a minor mental breakdown Isaac smiled and nodded at the idea of sitting by the asters, whatever they were. That’s when Kaz thought thought it’d be funny to call Isaac “Merrier.” Normally Isaac would just make a swift movement with his hand to slap the bejesus out of the back of Kaz’s head but out in public and making the acquaintance of these two girls he thought that it might make him look a little bit aggressive. So instead he smiled at Kaz, took a step forward and plunged his heel as hard as he could onto Kaz’s big toe. “Oops, sorry, big feet.” He said with an airy laugh, giving Kaz an apologetic smile but shooting Daggers at him with his eyes.
Once they sat down at their table Isaac took out a pen from his pocket and a napkin from the dispenser and wrote a quick note on it. “My name is Isaac Levin, from class 1-A. Not merrier Isaac. But you can call me whatever you want.” After a quick debate with himself whether to draw a winking emoji he decided to just slide her over the napkin and then wink at her once she read it. If she could read it that is. Not only was his writing terrible but so was his Japanese so the sentence while sounding correct probably didn’t make sense grammatically.
“I think I’ll get a small pot of black tea and hmm, how about we all share a plate of scones?” He answered and asked Kaz. He looked back to Chikako and promptly wrote down what he was going to order so she could hear, or see? SO she could understand what he was saying.

Chikako stayed quiet for most of what was happening, not really knowing what to do in this situation not being a social person from the getgo. The only reason she infirmed not to decline as she did not want to appear unfriendly and or rude to her fellow students and decided to play along with it. So to say that Chikako felt awkward was an understatement, the poor girl with anxiety felt terrified. She did not make eye contact and just kept looking forwardonly glancing at shizume to look at her directly so she could read the sign language. She gave a slight bow towards shizume before they began to walk towards the table to respond about her comment of her becoming Chikako's ear for the moments that she will be staying here.
Eventually, they reached the table and she silently sat down on the chair and smiled at the two merely staring at her hands. Eventually, Isaac began to write on a napkin and slide the napkin to her and she read it. She glared at the paper trying to decipher the broken Japanese and smiled and merely nodded at him to acknowledge that she read the paper. "I will take some hot green tea and a bowl of rice curry", she said an began to sign towards shizume so the others would not hear what she was about to say. "I got stood up on a date, so get me something really sweet do not mind the price", she bowed and looked at the other two. "Everything is on me..buy whatever you want", she said softly with her broken voice and showing her black card before she began to pocket again and smiled at them before she began to stare at her hands yet again staring off yet again.

Shizume Stradivarius
Hibiki the Demon Bard Class 1-B Beatbox Word Count/Total: 421/1374
Shizume started to write down the orders as best she could. Her Kanji was terrible, but she could do katakana no problem. Kaz wanted green tea, Isaac wanted Black tea and a plate of scones. Chikako wanted some hot green tea, a bowl of Rice curry and something really sweet. Nodding she smiled to the three and went towards the kitchen.
Tearing off the ticket she looked in through the window. "Owner, a moment. I ask for a bit of atonement."
"What is is Shizu-san?"
"We have a customer who was stood up. Think we can give her a round of sweet cups?"
The gruff older male looked through. "Yeah. Broken hearts usually need something sweet. Good thinking. And don't put it on the bill." He took a look at the ticket and turned it back around. "Shizu-san. All of this is at the Maid's station..."
The blunette leapt a bit in surprise and took the ticket back "Gomen scusami." She then turned back to the station and began arranging things on the tray. First was a ceramic pot with loose black tea dumped in the bottom. She then filled it with water from the heater. A decent 88° C, not boiling, but hot enough to let the tea seep. A fine mesh screen would keep the leaves from pouring out. For Kaz and Chikako, she had placed traditional ceramic cups on the tray with a scoop of Matcha powder in the bottom. She again poured in the hot water, but whisked it up to a smooth consistency. She then placed a few more clear cups on the tray. Each of them about 250 ml in capacity. She dropped some honey from a bear shaped squeeze bottle into the bottom and steamed some milk from the cappuccino machine. Slowly, she poured it into each glass and let the hot froth stir up and collect the honey. Two large crystal clear ice cubes then joined the liquid, returning it to a milk like consistency. Finally they were dusted with a nutmeg and cinnamon powder.
On to the food portion. She set out a fancy plate and set six scones on it in a flower shaped pattern. Next, she plated a decent portion of curry rice from the slow cooker and rice cooker. Occasionally, she would glance back at the table seeing them talking and hanging out. While she worked with service urgency, she wanted to time her arrival outside a joke or conversation point. It was never good to interrupt a customer.

If he weren't used to several people stepping on his feet or doing worse in retaliation to his chronicler shtick, he would have reacted more. Sure he quietly recoiled a bit and let out an annoyed 'Hey,' but it wasn't that severe...yeah totally. He super isn't shaking up and thinking of ways to get back at Isaac. Nope. Not at all, his foot totally didn't hurt from that. He isn't formulating stuff in his head right now. He totally didn't stare back at Isaac shooting him with a glare as if this was sufficient payback. No it isn't you fool, they're still here in this place. You better pray their selection on the menu is good, or youre gonna hear a long special speech for the next two days.
"Yeah makes sense, scones seem good." He notes as he closes the menu, looking over at Chikako who is reading what Isaac wrote down on the piece of paper to let her know. She signed it back to Shizume, making him somewhat curious as to what she's signing exactly. It looks a bit longer than a normal meal would be...or is it longer? He hasn't practiced sign language, he has no idea of the ins and outs of it, or if this is even the reasonable length to do it in. She spoke out to them in a soft voice, causing him to shake his head no. "U-uh, don't worry about it." He grabs Isaac's paper and writes his response to her "Don't worry, we can pay for it if you like," showing it to her. She seems to be nervous, and taking advantage of this isn't good at all.
The stuff came and...well at least the service was reasonable, barring the weird maid uniform. "Scones looks appealing, just let try this tea first and..." Making sure he doesn't burn himself, he carefully sips the tea. "...not bad." He muses openly. He gives a thumbs up for Chikako's benefit, nodding his head in approval of this tea. Grabbing one scone, he bits into it as well. "...Eh,. It's not bad either." He looks at Isaac. "How's your tea?"

Isaac was about to disagree with Chikako too but Kaz was very quick to write their reply on the napkin. Smiling and giving a thumbs up he nodded in agreement with what Kaz had written since it was the nice thing to do! Besides little did they know but she was sadly stood up on her date. If Isaac did know he probably would have kept his usual charms in check but since this information was kept from him thanks to a sign language barrier Chikako was probably going to be bombarded with flirtatious comments.
He didn’t have too much time to start his usual song and dance mainly because their singing and well not quite dancing Maid came over with their order rather quickly. She first set Isaac’s pot of black tea down and a fancy lookin cup. He was so used to using half broken mugs that this fine china looking cup really made his eyes light up in amazement. Another oddity that the irishlad wasn’t used to was having loose tea leaves in the tea. Back in Ireland that was a rarity and anyone who did do it was considered really really posh. And right now Isaac felt the same. Fancy cups, loose tea leaves, fancy talkers like Kaz and Chikako. It was a nice change of pace. Still he probably would have preferred the leaves to be in a small bag so he could squeeze all the goodness out of them but oh well, he’d just need to stir the pot a bit and let the leaves soak in the hot water for the time being.
In the meantime he took a scone and cut it in half. Luckily there was already some condiments on the table so Isaac took two small little wrapped blocks of butter and spread it over the two cut scones. He was very generous with doing this and there was a clear layer of butter over each scone. But he wasn’t done there! Similarly he took two small packets of jam and spread each over the scones too on top of the butter. Isaac could feel his mouth water already. It had been way too long since he had anything like this for tea. Speaking of he took the pot and poured it into his fancy little ceramic mug. He added a splosh of milk then took a sip. Even with the milk, the tea was strong and it was still really hot! ”Unreal actually.” he replied to Kaz putting down his cup and taking up one of the cut scones. ”Ah jaysus don’t tell me you’re havin’ the scone dry?” he questioned speaking in English with his irish accent clearly coming through for once. He half forgot for a moment that he was in Japan speaking to Japanese people. The tea and scones really took him back to his time on the emerald isle, the power of muscle, er tastebud memory?
