When G had told her that there would be an entire school of people that would be able to help her with her Quirk, Primula had to admit she didn't expect something like this! It all happened away too suddenly, they arrived at the front gate, upon which the man had told her to wait a bit and that there would be someone to help her out soon enough. Of course, being the good girl that she was Primula obliged to the order, remaining stationary in front of the school gate. Although she had to admit the curious gazes the students gave her and Titania intimidated her a little, a part of her felt the need to run into hiding, yet she endured. After all, this was her chance to find help, this person who she was waiting on would hold the power of giving her a comfortable place to stay at, or to be kicked back onto the streets to fend for herself, all alone.
In all honesty, all the girl desired was that warmth she had lost, the warmth of a family. "Hey Prim, how long ya think we been waiting?" Titania, who was seated on her shoulder inquired softly, upon which the girl answered with a slight tilt of her head sideways. "I think a few minutes?" Yet the fairy shook her head firmly in response to the girl's words. "Feels like hours to me. I bet it's because your adorableness factor is lacking."
Primula couldn't help but blink in bewilderment as Titania fluttered off her shoulder and hovered back and forth in front of her. "You often see how people adopt those cute looking pets that were left alone on the street, right?" Primula nodded her head lightly in return, she had seen that type of sad scene way too often in Tokyo, and even in the suburbs of Musutafu sometimes! "There is a decisive factor between those who get taken and those who don't. Do you know what that factor is?"
Primula shook her head a few times, clearly having not a single clue what the fairy was talking about. "Adorableness!" The fairy gestured toward the nearby wall next to the gate and with a swish of her hand a large cardboard box, just large enough to fit her appeared. "I'll show you a trick~ Get in this box and sit down onto your knees."
The girl obliged the instructions of her companion, kneeling in the cardboard box while looking in confusion at the English sign the fairy conjured next. "Don't squeeze it too hard, now put this in front of the box." Once more Primula listened to the order of the fairy, oblivious that it read: For Adoption!
The fairy nodded happily, clearly approving of the sight and finally prepared the final piece of the puzzle. "And now prepare your most adorable doe-eyes, as if pleading G to buy you more ice-cream look while going: Please take care of me~"
The fairy hopped down onto Primula's head while the girl inhaled deeply, trying to gather all her resolve as she looked up at a tall figure that hovered by and mustering the same adorableness of a baby fawn looked up at her. "P-Please t-take c-care of m-me!"
Yet the fairy looked up at the stranger and mused softly. "I think... we got their attention~ Good job G, making her think of ice-cream worked!"

Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, but still miraculously my own.. This was not what she had expected to find today.
While school had let out for the day quite a while ago, Tsutsuji Hachi tended to linger on the school grounds well past the final bell for a number of reasons. Even when classes ended the majority of students lived on campus, so having a teacher there as well was good for those who had questions after-hours or simply for small conversations about their day. For whatever reason she was visited by students not even in her class for these friendly chats. She didn't mind, it was simply amusing to her that the student population had decided that she was full of "maternal adoration" that should be shared among all the students, regardless of their proper class.
At least, she assumed that was why she kept seeing her name paired with the phrase "Bee Mom" in the school text channel. She had joked about it with Miku a few times now but it was still something she wasn't sure what to make of. She didn't believe herself to be some paragon of love and affection. She was only treating the students as she would have wanted to be treated at their age; respected, understood, and cared about. If that was all it took to earn the name "mom" then she wouldn't fight it, but would still be pleasantly confused.
That confusion was in her head as she hovered out of the school gate. She had her bag slung around her shoulder, deep blue dress reaching past where her feet hovered several inches off the ground, ready to return to her home off-campus. However as soon as she had stepped--metaphorically--outside of the gate she was greeted to an odd sight that made her stop mid-flight.
It was a girl. A young girl, though certainly not a child. Likely somewhere in her early or mid-teens. It was not her age, nor her lithe, delicate features that caught Hachi off-guard, but rather the fact that the girl was sitting in a cardboard box with a sign in her hands, with two words printed plain as day on it. "For Adoption"? That was the sort of thing one expected to see with a box of kittens--though such a practice was looked down on nowadays, what with animal services and proper shelters existing. This was not, obviously, not that sort of situation. This was a human person. Yet here it was, right in front of her, and Hachi was left very confused.
Confused, and concerned.
Silence passed as the wheels in Hachi's head started to turn again; her expression, as always, betrayed nothing of any confusion or interest or anything at all. She appeared entirely apathetic on the outside. In truth, she was anything but apathetic. Her clawed feet came down on the concrete below them, wings coming to fold behind her back, so she could lean her body towards the girl in the box, looking at her closer. She didn't appear to be injured at least. Somewhat thin. Her eye color--well, colors--were striking. She undoubtedly was in possession of a Quirk. Was that why she was here?
...why in a box, of all things?
"Are you alright, Ojou-san?" Hachi's voice was soft, full of concern and a gentle, hopefully calming hum, like that of a honeybee. "Are you looking for somebody?"

It didn't take long for Primula to realize what exactly Titania had meant: someone had stopped in front of her after her exclamation. It was a curious situation for sure, her mismatched eyes looking up at the figure before her. She assumed the person in front of her was a female, in fact, the features of the stranger reminded her a little of a honeybee, although the woman in front of her obviously had a more humanoid-like build. She couldn't help but wonder if the person in front of her was like her, someone who possessed a quirk. She turned toward her, and in all honesty, it was difficult for her to grasp the expression of the person, almost akin to trying to read the emotions of a person who was wearing a mask. She didn't know what they were thinking, or feeling and that kind of unnerved her just a little. But in the end the stranger spoke, the softness of her voice like a numbing medicine for her concern. The girl nodded her head sheepishly at the honeybee lady, looking down at the sign she was holding, and back up to her, raising it slightly to show it to the woman.
"H-" She tried to speak but suddenly paused, her body trembling lightly, on the outside it might had looked like fear as she tried again "H-" but to no avail, in fact, the squirming grew worse as her eyes started to get teary-eyed, a desperate final attempt. "Ha-" but to no avail, suddenly dropping the sign in the box the girl's hands reaching for her face and- "HAAAAACHIIIIIIII!" the poor girl sneezed, causing the fairy to snicker softly. "Bless you~" but the girl couldn't help but pout as she watched Titania seemingly pull out a small handkerchief for the poor girl to wipe her nose with. "There is nothing blessed about that..." the girl muttered weakly yet recalling the lady's earlier words and nodded her head firmly in response. "M-Mister G... told me this place was full of nice people... that could take care of me."
The girl explained with a meek voice looking back down at the sign on the box. Could this be one of those people that G told her about? One of those nice people who could take care of her and help her learn how to use her quirk? Lowering her hands back toward the sign she scooped it up again and held it out toward the bee lady. "Primula! My name is Primula~" The little fairy hovered above the girl and flopped down onto her head, waving lightly at her. "And I'm Titania~" She looked at Hachi, the sparkle of hope in her eyes clearly evident. Surely if this lady was part of the school, then she must had been one of those nice people G told her about! And so that question was asked: "C-Can you help me?" It seemed like Hachi had been visited by quite an unusual present from the vigilante!

Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, but still miraculously my own.. Hachi likely would have flinched in surprise, if she had the facial muscles to do such. Instead her hand pulled back for a moment in surprise, then calmly reached into the pocket of her dress and wherein sat a small plastic pack of tissues. She was ready to offer one to the child before another voice spoke up. Hachi's eyes fell on a...
Well, she could only describe this individual as "faerie".
It was as if one of her student, Mozuku Momoko, had grown a pair of gossamer wings and had garbed themselves in fantastical robes. She appeared to be taking care of the child, to some extent, but at that size it was impossible to say if she was really any older that the girl in question, or if they were the same age. Had both of them come here together? Were they related?
A name slid into place like the grimace that slid across her face. Oh, good. The vigilante known as "G" was an individual that continues to appear in Hachi's life at the worst--or, in their last interaction's case, best for him--times, be it in casual conversations to the kidnapping of one of his daughters to her rescuing him from either death or arrest. In the beginning of their relationship she had not disapproved of his actions; she was so fresh from vigilantism herself that it rang hollow in her head to warn him away from such things. Time made her thoughts on the matter change. The students at UA could not live in a world where heroes and vigilantes existed without consequences for the latter's actions. She had vowed to herself that the next time she caught G in the act of illegally using his Quirk, she would bring him in. Yet between Haruuhi's kidnapping and his own near demise, that vow had become weaker and weaker.
It didn't help that one of his daughters was in all likely-hood related her long dead, long adored mentor.
Theirs was a complicated relationship.
So G had sent two children in need of protection and care to UA, because of course he would. For a moment she wondered why the man didn't do so himself, given his track record of taking in homeless and hopeless teens. Perhaps their quirks were too much for him to handle alone? Or he may have felt that he wasn't equipped to take care of someone this girl's size. Hmm.
"It is nice to meet you, Primula-san, Titania-san. I am Tsutsuji Hachi, though you may know me as the hero Yellow Jacket. I..." she looked down at the sign again, and back to Primula's waiting, anxious eyes. There was no chance in the world that Hachi would tell them "no".
She was suspicious, though, as to why G wouldn't take them in himself. Perhaps he was full-up on children.
Or it could be something else...
"Of course I can. I was headed home, and as you are not students at the school I cannot set you up in the dorms yet. However if you do not mind being under my supervision, I can bring you to my home, for now." For a second she went through the last mental images she had of her modestly sized home not far from campus. It was clean, in the "this place is hardly lived in" sense, and her fridge was stocked with fruit and juice and the honey her bees produced. Had the two of them eaten?
She stood up to full height once more, though she did not begin to hover just yet. Hachi extended her claw for Primula to take to pull herself from the box. "May I ask how old you are, Primula-san? Titania-san? And what exactly 'Mister G' said you may find here at UA?"
If they were looking to be enrolled--or if G had thought it best for them to try--it would take several days to sort out the legal details. Did these two have parents in the area? Were they abandoned? Sadly that wasn't an uncommon thing among those with Quirks as noticeable as Titania's appeared to be. Primula may have a Quirk of a similar nature, or perhaps one that was too much for her parents to handle. This was all assuming they were related, though, which they may not have been.
No time like the present. "Are you two sisters?"

The fairy tilted her head lightly when the bee lady looked in her direction. Nonetheless, once Hachi greeted the two of them the girl tilted her head lightly to the side in bewilderment when the bee lady introduced herself. "b-but you aren't wearing a jacket..." the green-haired child stated in a bashful and hesitant tone, while Titania seemed equally bewildered. "We haven't met any heroes before..." Still, after a moment of consideration on what to do the girl bowed her head lightly in a polite and respectful greeting while the fairy gave a playful salute.
"It is nice to meet you." "Pleasure to meet cha~"
It was clear that the moment Hachi answered the girl's plea for help, that she had done her magic, a spark of hope ignited in the eyes of the girl who nodded her head sheepishly in return. "Mhmm, when I used to go to school strangers weren't allowed to enter without permission." It was a logical reason, yet when she suggested taking them home the girl's eyes widened for a moment. "A-Are you sure?" The girl asked hesitatingly, a hand resting in front of her chest as her tone softened and hints of sorrow became audible in both her voice and in the expression of the child. "G said it's dangerous... to be around others." A soft growl came from her stomach while the girl quickly clarified further. "But I been trying really hard! Hiding myself from everyone when things get scary, but... it hurts to always run to the forest and hide."
The fairy nodded her head lightly. "Last thing we ate was yummy frozen chocolate water thingie that G called 'aisu creamu!', that was..." another growl came from the girl's stomach, almost sounding like a noise a bear would make. "two days ago!" Still, she gently accepted the claw that Hachi reached out to her, and when asked about her age the girl paused for a moment, raising a finger to her lips as she pondered. "Umm... I had ten birthdays! Then mama and papa died in that scary fire..." The girl paused for a moment, her hand raised to her eyes as she tried to hold back the urge to let the tears come. "ten... then grandpa took me in. Then a year later Titania appeared..." Titania nodded her head a few times in acknowledgment. "Eleven~ Prim was Eleven at that time!" The green-haired child nodded her head as she continued her explanation. "Then a evil magician killed grandpa... and took grandpa's appearance! A v-villain wanted to obtain my power, but he was weakened from fighting grandpa, needed time to regain his power, and nobody realized grandpa was gone, but Titania realized what happened! She taught me! taught me how to use my power to transform!" The girl exclaimed with a hint of excitement as if she was telling some grandiose tale. "Five years, five years we worked really hard so the evil magician couldn't hurt anyone else."
The fairy fluttered in front of Hachi and explained further. "Prim was really brave! Used her power to fight the magician, but the magician had friends! evil friends, so I helped Prim escape and we ran really really far, all the way till we arrived here in this place."
Primula meanwhile had started to seemingly count of her fingers and after a moment exclaimed proudly. "I am sixteen! Sixteen years old!" Meanwhile Titania tapped her own chest and hummed with a smile. "And I am six~" Still when it came to what they could find at UA Primula pondered for a moment. "UA is school full of nice people right? Where I can learn to control my power? Mister G said I could find someone here that could help me." Meanwhile Titania hummed softly. "But we came here for another reason also, right Prim?" The girl went quiet, her gaze lowered as she stopped in her tracks. "Mama and Papa died... no hero saved them. I only survived against the evil magician because Titania saved me. It hurts... to be alone, to lose those you love..."
She looked upwards, a tearful visage meeting Hachi's own as she stated. "I want to become a hero like Miss Hachi! So that others won't lose their mama and papa! A hero like the ones from Titania's story!" The girl paused for a moment, hesitation returning as she whispered meekly. "Or, can I not become a hero?" As Titania fluttered in the air between the two of them the fairy shook her head back and forth. "hehehe~ Prim is a human like you!" A childish giggle escaped her lips while Primula clarified further. "Titania was born from my power. This 'quirk', I can... turn things I imagine into reality." The girl pondered for a moment when suddenly she extended her hand in front of her and a feint silverish glow game from the open palm of her hand, and with a sudden burst of light it seemed she was holding a beautiful sunflower. "Hehehe~ I like sunflowers~ This one is for Miss Hachi."
The girl extended the hand holding the flower toward Hachi but Titania quickly added with a worried voice. "Don't squeeze it too strongly, or flower goes 'kapoot' unlike me, I'm way more sturdy than the other things Prim can make!" And with a gentle flop the fairy decided to take a seat on the child's head. "Miss Hachi..." Primula paused for a moment, seemingly thinking about what she was going to say next. "I will try really hard not to be a b-burden. S-So please don't throw me away..."

Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, but still miraculously my own.. She was certainly a very literal child, which Hachi could relate to at some degree. Between her and Titania they were at least polite and friendly, and didn't seem scared of Hachi--some people were, upon first meeting, and she couldn't fault them given her appearance. One pull later and Primula was out of her box and telling her more about her and Titania's situation. At first it was simple enough to follow. She had not been abandoned, but instead orphaned at a young age. Tragic, of course, it did explain why they were on their own on the street.
At least...it did for the first few sentences. Then the story became much more complicated. Hachi began to hover once more, directing Primula and Titania down the sidewalk towards where her home was, and listened intently as they continued their tale. Titania "appeared" in Primula's life? Was that how they described how they met, or was there more to that? An evil magician? She described him as a villain, who took the form of her grandfather. Was this an actual villain? Someone who had killed and shape-shifted into her caretaker? It was something that, in a world without Quirks, would have sounded like the ramblings of the mad. Especially as at the climax of the story Primula confessed to "stopping" the so-called magician from "hurting anyone else".
Yet in this day and age, it was entirely possible.
Did she use her Quirk to kill them?
Hachi stayed quiet as the two children continued to talk.
So he sends me a child who has killed somebody, or at the very least believes she killed them, or wounded them so badly that they can no longer do what they had been doing beforehand. She's speaking so earnestly, I don't think she's lying. But if this happened when she was a child...no, if I heard her right, this must have been recent. She lived with this "villain" for five years? Did he hurt her in that time? Where does Titania come into this? Primula said she's the one who taught her, but if she is only six years old, how much could she really have helped?...is she truly only six? I can't tell because of her size but she sounds and acts older...
Her reasons for being a hero fit with everything else she had said--up to and not entirely excluding the part where she murdered a villain. Hachi finally spoke again, her face unable to show the confusion that was still present in her mind. "You can become a hero. That is what U.A is meant for. It will be difficult, and I am not sure Titania can join, being so young, but..."
Wait.
Hachi stopped moving and stared, fixated, upon Titania as Primula gave a very clarifying--and yet even more confusing and confounding--answer to who and what Titania really was. Or rather what she wasn't. She was a construct of her Quirk, and what a powerful Quirk it was. To be able to bring things of your imagination into reality, not as illusions or images but as solid, speaking, living (?) entities such as the small fairy flying between them; that sort of power was the sort of thing a villain would find worth killing for. Without a doubt. Hachi had a million questions in her mind all at once. Was Titania as "real" as G's summoned ally, Goliath, was? Was she a thinking, feeling, acting entity connected to Primula, or was she something of an imaginary friend given form, only as real as Primula believed her to be?
The offered sunflower was beautiful, and Hachi took it carefully in her claws, admiring just how real it looked. Yet for as much like a living flower as it felt to the touch and appeared in her eyes, there was no scent to it, even to Hachi's most sensitive senses. So it was fake.
...then is Titania fake, too?
It was impossible to prove right now. There were cases of Quirks granting the ability to summon entities with fully-fledged personality, minds, and feelings into the world without this sort of Quirk. Whether or not Titania was one of those or merely a physical being of Primula's imagination, she seemed to be very "real" to Primula.
Given all she said she had lost and gone through, Hachi understood the need for somebody to be there for her.
"That...that is a fascinating Quirk, Primula-san. There are many things I would like to ask you about it. But first, let's get you both something to eat." Hachi smiled softly, and with as much care as she could she tucked the fake flower into the neatly tied bun on the back of her head. "Yes, I believe U.A is the perfect place for you. And I believe that despite her being quite a bit younger than our cut-off, Titania-san will be able to stay with you as well. You won't mind sharing a room, yes?"
Oh, explaining this to the principle would be amusing.
"If you don't think you can make it two blocks from here with an empty stomach, there are street vendors out this time of day. I cannot guarantee ice-cream but they have similar snacks for sale. I have plenty of fruit and, ah, sweets at my home, though, if you can wait."

As they walked and she explained a bit more about her age and her mysterious power, the soft growls of her stomach made Primula smile sheepishly at the bee lady who mentioned she had a lot of things she wanted to ask about, but that they would first need to get something to eat. When inquiring about sharing a room Primula shook her head lightly while Titania mused in amusement. "Prim likes for me to sleep next to her pillow, makes her feel comfortable and a bit more at ease~" the fairy explained with a sheepish grin while Primula's cheeks flushed up lightly.
Meanwhile as the fairy peeked over the edge of the girl's head, the fairy spoke with a happy voice. "You hear that Prim? We can stay together~ No need for me to hide under phantasms~" Phantasms, a peculiar term wasn't it? But nonetheless when Hachi explained that she could get some snacks from the street vendors Primula shook her head violently, hands gently folded behind her back while she grinned sheepishly at the bee lady. "I will be a good girl and wait till we reach Miss Hachi's home~"
And soon their walk resumed as Primula started to clarify further. "You see, Titania is special~ She actually is from another world!" People would likely label her insane, but knowing the fragments that Primula had revealed about her quirk so far would likely make Hachi understand there was quite an interesting truth to the girl's statement. "Grandpa had a book... a book that told a lot of stories, and Titania is a part of them. So one day after going to sleep I dreamed really, really long about her, and then 'poof'! the next morning she was fluttering over my bed like a butterfly~" Titania giggled softly at the explanation of the innocent child and mused softly. "Stories are a fascinating something, just like the story of this world you both live in: ever changing by the actions of those that inhabit the tale~" the fairy ended up sitting upright and stretched her arms lightly into the air. "Say Prim~ Aren't you forgetting something?"
The fairy's question made the girl realize something, suddenly pausing in her tracks as she turned toward the bee lady and bowed more formally, the gesture making the fairy slide off her head and flail in mid-air. "Thank you for taking care of me Miss Hachi." but her words were followed by Titania's panicking voice. "Don't suddenly bow like that dummy!" Of course, the scolding tone of the fairy made Primula unsure for a moment, till she felt the gentle pat of the fairy on her forehead. "But that's a good girl~ It is important to remember an act of kindness, which reminds me~"
The fairy once more started to hover higher till she was at the height of Hachi's face and inquired with a smile. "So you possess a special power like Prim~ Is that why you are a pretty bee lady?" An innocent question was made while Primula looked curiously at Hachi, seemingly quite interested in the answer also.
"Mister G also has a special power, used it before to save me. However, he doesn't seem to be like Titania..." The girl quietly poked the fairy's side, earning giggles from the fairy while she continued to explain. "My power... Normally it's not like Titania, like if I 'imagine' something it happens like I imagined it. Like when I met mister G I had a scary nightmare about it raining cows, and cows started to rain down the sky, but Titania isn't like that. I can't imagine what she would say or do, kinda like she is her own person, like you and me."
The fairy snickered playfully at those words, remarking with a hum. "Pocket-sized edition~"
and then as if on cue two soft growls came from both the girl and the fairy's stomaches. "At least today's forecast is sunny, and neither meatballs or cows will be raining today." The fairy declared with a soft melodious hum.

Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, but still miraculously my own.. There was no shame or harm in stopping now to get Primula something to eat, but if she insisted that she could wait until they reached their destination, Hachi would not protest or insist otherwise. Hovering along besides the girl she led her away from the UA campus to where her home was; it was near-by, a choice she had made almost a year ago when she left her mother's home for a second time, to live alone for the first time.
It was a tricky thing, being alone. Hachi was not fond of it. Yet it was expected of a woman her age to live away from home, be it alone or with a husband. Hachi had no interest in the latter so once she had gotten a position at U.A, there really had been no question as to if she would move out here from Tokyo to be closer.
Did she even have a second bed for Primula, if the girl needed to stay with her until her enrollment process was finished? Would she prefer a futon? Hachi's body didn't lend itself well to those. It didn't lend itself to most beds, chairs, or couches, though, so really it was a moot point. Ah well. She could set the girl up on the couch or herself on the couch. It was only temporary.
"Are you a fan of fantasy books, Primula-san? I have some in my home. You're welcome to read them, so long as you are gentle--some of them are fairly old." She was paying attention to the shallow levels of Prim's conversation whilst eyeing the deeper implications with that lingering feeling of unease. More and more the evidence that Titania was a figment of Primula's mind given shape and not a free-thinking entity of her own came into place. Was Primula entirely unaware of this and really believed her real, or was it willful ignorance?
Hachi nodded at Titania's question, after accepting Primula's bow of gratitude with a small nod and smile. "I do, and that's right. At U.A we call these 'powers' and abilities 'Quirks', and every student at the school also possesses some sort of unique Quirk all their own. Some are a little similar to your own, but none two are exactly alike. However, there is a student in my class right now who is around your height, Titania-san, and a teacher who can shrink herself to about the same size. If you were to meet them I'm sure you would have much to speak of." Though perhaps Momoko would be envious that the two other individuals (if one could call Titania that) at her height were capable of flying and she was not. But she was an inventor--no doubt that if she wanted a means of flight, she could create her own.
If she had the facial muscles to pull it off then Hachi's face would have become one of utter bemusement. "Cows? It rained..." she trailed off, distracted, briefly, at the image Primula's tale brought to mind. It was both humorous and terrifying in different ways. Maybe that was why G sent the girl to U.A rather than tried to take care of her himself: he didn't want to wake up to some sort of madness created by the girl's imagination. "That does sound very frightening. When you have those sort of nightmares, does what you've seen always become reality? At least, a reality that you've created?"
Her Quirk may be more dangerous than I thought, if she can't control it while she's asleep. Will she be asked to live off-campus? But...being around others may help her better understand herself and her Quirk.
The students are very capable. They could protect themselves if need be. So long as it isn't an intentional attack, and so long as improvements in her level of control are made, it should be fine. Probably. Possibly.
I hope.
The sounds of their stomachs grumbling softened her worries slightly. "We will be there soon. If you don't mind me asking, Primula-san, do you have other skills outside of your Quirk? Do you enjoy running, do you have any skill with mechanics...it would help me to put you in a class that fits you best if I know more of you and your likes, skills, and abilities. Though I do know you would be placed into the first year, given your age."

There was a soft humming that came from the little fairy on top of Primula's head as the pair was led along by the hovering bee lady toward her residence. In all honesty, it was quite peculiar how easy one's mood could improve simply by means of a gesture of kindness or understanding. Perhaps, it was because of how young she was that Primula was so easily influenced by such external factors, for there was no doubt that the liveliness in the girl's mannerisms was no doubt brought forth by Hachi's decision to show that brand of kindness to the girl that had given her the moniker of 'Bee Mom' among the students of the hero academy.
Nonetheless, she was oblivious to the thoughts drifting in Hachi's mind, partly occupied with gazing up at the little fairy on top of her head that was clearly enjoying the change of pace. It was often said that fairies had a certain childish side to them, that playful trickster nature often reminding one of a child who didn't even know she was actually doing something which was considered wrong in the eyes of society. As such, the fairy's innocent demeanor on the surface truly suggested she might had appeared younger in mannerisms than she actually was.
It was only when Primula was asked about fantasy books that Primula raised her head and looked toward the bee lady, who unawarely had coaxed quite an interesting subject for the two of them to talk about. The child nodded her head excitedly, a bright smile emerging on her lips as she exclaimed. "I love fantasy books! And it is important to treat them with kindness and care, grandpa's books were also really old." The girl exclaimed happily while raising a hand toward her hair, the little fairy happily hopped onto her hand and as if to demonstrate just how closely interwoven the existence of fantasy was with Primula's life the child explained happily.
"There is this series of books, a collection of tales that take place in a world full of magic and wonder~ Although I only read a part of the first book, it is those stories where I met Titania~ She even knows all sorts of amazing things about this world that I didn't read about yet~" The fairy nodded her head attentively as Hachi explained further about how the school was a place where everyone had a special power of their own, and those unique abilities were known as 'Quirks'. It led Titania to muse softly. "I see, so rather than magic, it is the Quirk of Prim that allows her to bring me forth into existence? However, you mentioned everyone at the school wields their own unique 'Quirk'..." The fairy flopped down on Primula's hand and continued to ponder aloud. "That means Quirks are neither Magic or a Blessing by an entity like a Primal, which makes me assume it is possibly some sort of change that happened in the course of mankind's evolution in this world..."
Primula clearly was growing more confused by the moment, and noticing it Titania giggled softly. "I mean that in this world there are a lot of special people like you Prim~ Different but still possessing a unique power, a gift known in this world as a 'Quirk'. Which makes me the weird one~" Titania giggled playfully at the joke yet hearing Hachi's remark about there being a student in her class around her height made Titania blink in confusion. "There are humans 'that' small? That must be quite an interesting person to meet~"
Primula nodded her head sheepishly at Hachi's words. "It rained cows, but luckily nobody got hurt." The girl whispered the last bit with a soft sigh of relief, yet the question that followed made her shake her head lightly. "Not always. You see, for my po-Quirk to work it needs to be something that leaves a lasting impression on me. It's kind of like..." She raised a hand to her cheek and pondered about a suitable comparison before she clarified further. "Imagine a jar of honey, that's delicious right? But it's not something that usually would leave an impression that makes you think very much about it. But then imagine a WHOLE pool full of yummy honey, that's the type of thing that makes you think about it for a long time, right? It sort of needs that type of 'impact'. Without that it won't manifest."
The girl paused for a moment, raising a finger to her lips as she mused softly. "Would I be able to swim in such a pool? It sounds like a sticky business, and I don't think Titania likes that." The little fairy nodded her head firmly. "Makes it difficult to fly when your wings get all sticky, so no honey baths for us Prim!"
When asked about any other skills Primula nodded her head sheepishly. "I like taking walks, nature is really pleasant to walk amidst, but aside from that the only thing I really did was reading books and drawing, I used to draw a lot when Mama and Papa were still alive, but when they died I... I kinda tried to escape from the pain by reading lots of stories, so I haven't really draw anything since then."

Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, but still miraculously my own.. Hachi smiled, though the action was slight and hard to see as always. Primula was imaginative and innocent, two qualities that fit the nature of her Quirk, as well as made her all the more endearing of an individual to be around. Excited children talking about their favorite books or films were always enjoyable to listen to. When her students did it--even during study halls--she would listen even if she didn't understand the appeal herself.
All the talk of magic and fantasy was odd to hear being taken so literally. Primula's understanding of fact and fiction wasn't great. Given what she could do, that was understandable, but it was something she would have to grow out of before very long...which was a shame, to some degree, but the world wasn't kind to naivety.
"Indeed, I suspect it was her Quirk that gave you life, Titania-san. There are similar cases of Quirks calling on allies, be they made from their shadows or even as a physical manifestation of their will. I do not know any who can create as much as you can, Primula-san, which means your abilities may be incredibly powerful, given time to learn and improve upon them." Titania helped to explain things so Primula could understand it a little clearer. That she was able to do so strengthened the possibility that she was her own entity, rather than a projection of Primula, but it wasn't a guarantee either.
"I only know of one your size, personally. She is very kind and intelligent. I'm positive you will get along."
She rounded a corner that lead to a sloped street, the houses all elevated in a way that they were level despite the angle of the road, like a giant set of stairs. None of them were very large houses. In fact, only a few of them had second floors. Still they were quite nice and had a good amount of lawn and garden space. Hachi extended a claw to the left side of the street. "The fourth one, with the red and yellow flowers in front, is mine. Are either of you bothered by pollen?"
She continued to float until she reached the gate, which she opened with a key kept in her pocketbook. It felt like the more Primula explained how her Quirk functioned--or at least how she believed her Quirk to function--the stranger it became. She required some sort of strong, lasting impact for her to give shape to an idea. How many times had she read Titania's story...?
"As one who handles honey quite a bit," Hachi mused, entering her garden and waiting for Primula and Titania to follow before she closed the gate, "I can only guess that swimming in it would be a very gooey venture."
She opened the simple beige door to her home and clicked on a light-switch near it to illuminate the hallway. It was a standard semi-modern home: there was a small raise a few feet from the door for one to remove their shoes that lead into an open room that was some mix of a living room, dining room, and kitchen; on the other side of the hall were two doors and another open space that appeared to be lined with shelves--her office, mostly for grading papers and such. A large glass door split the kitchen counters in half and lead to more garden than was out in the front, as well as a trio of white boxes settled among the plants. Hachi hung her purse on a series of hooks right at the door and, not wearing any shoes herself, hovered up the lift and started toward the kitchen intently.
"Well...I hope I have books that you will enjoy reading while you stay here. Please come in, and make yourselves at home. I will get you something to eat."
The "dining room" half of the room was only a thin brown table with two white chairs--one noticeably missing the back of it--on either side, while the "living room" half had a sunny-orange colored L-shaped couch that was quite soft, with a white blanket strewn over its back. While there was a television it didn't seem to have any cable box plugged into it, or have been used in quite a while. There was, however, a police radio set on a coffee table in front of the couch, currently off.
Hachi opened the stark white fridge and began checking the freshness of the food and drinks inside. It had been an unfortunately long time since she'd had a guest over. Yet the house didn't look dirty. If anything, it hardly looked lived in at all. There wasn't dust or cob-webs or the sort, but there wasn't any clutter; no cups in the sink, no books on the tables--everything was very still, almost sterile, hardly even touched.
Hachi took out a bowl of plums, ripe but not overly soft, and set them on the counter besides her to start with.
"If you have a preferred sort of fruit, please let me know. I have many. Juices, too, if you prefer that." She paused, claw touching the lid of a jar, and she chuckled. "I have honey, too, from the bees I keep."
Hopefully she will not try to swim in it.

Primula seemed quite enthusiastic to talk about her hobbies, even if they were somewhat limited in range. Nonetheless, when the bee lady explained how it was Primula's Quirk that allowed Titania to be brought into existence, that led the fairy to nod her head attentively. It was fascinating to hear there were people with similar powers, or Quirks in this world. In her realm such individuals would be called 'Summoners', a rare and ancient art, but in this case it seemed it had nothing to do with learning, and might had been some sort of genetic mutation in the individual.
"Miss Hachi, about those powers you call Quirks. How exactly do they manifest? Considering the large variation of them, and the somewhat inexperience in handling their existence, I assume it is something which only manifested in humanity recently, and likely contributes to some sort of mutation which is different from person to person. It would make sense then that some people have such powers, but others don't."
Titania's musing seemingly earned another confused look from Primula, although she rapidly found her attention drawn away as they rounded a corner and as they wandered along the sloped street, the moment Hachi mentioned the fourth house in the street was hers, and the inquiry about Pollen, Primula shook her head gently. "Mhmm~ Prim doesn't get bothered by them~" Still, the comment about swimming in honey did earn a soft giggle from the child, who clearly was entertaining the idea.
As the door opened and the hallway became illuminated, the child let out a soft gasp of excitement, and recalling her manners proceeded to shuffle out of her shoes, placing them at the entrance and taking a step inside as she followed Hachi. "Prim likes lots of books~ She can even spend hours just looking at picture books of flowers and animals~" Primula nodded her head gently in agreement. However, as Hachi started to prepare for making a meal, Primula peeked from the corner of the partition of the dining room and the kitchen. "D-Do you need help Miss Hachi? I might not be able to cook, but I can help carry plates~" Indeed, it seemed that despite the curious circumstances, Primula was still a well-mannered girl! When asked about fruits Primula raised a hand to her cheek, tapping it lightly as she pondered softly. "I like apples, and peaches, oh and bananas!" And on the aspect of juices Primula was just as eager to answer. "Orange juice, apple juice, tea! tea with honey is also yummy~"
The child chimed happily while Titania had flopped down on top of the child's head, eagerly watching the bee lady. They have never expected that their effort to get someone to help them out, would lead to the child to be taken in, and for the first time in years Primula had to admit she felt safe, comfortable even, and if the soft smile on her lips was any indication, then it was clear that she was also quite happy.

Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, but still miraculously my own.. As she began to answer questions, both from Primula and Titiana both, Hachi was moving about the kitchen to the whims of he requests. Next to the bowl of plums came a fresh red apple, the sort that was incredibly crisp outside and crunch inside, with a cheek of green and a cheek of red. "I do not have much to cook with, but I will get you some tea while I put together some manner of dinner for you. We might need to order from a nearby shop if you want more than fruit or an energy bar..." She felt a touch embarrassed. It wasn't that Hachi didn't eat well, but her mouth was very small, and didn't lend itself well to larger foods like omelettes or fish. She could eat rice, but it wasn't her favorite, so she just usually stocked up on fruits to make juice with.
This wasn't enough for a growing girl. If Primula was going to be here for a little while, she would need to buy actual food. Maybe it would be good for her to learn to actually cook from one of the cooking club, as well...ah, but she had questions to answer firstly.
"Quirks manifest themselves in many ways, but we can divide them into four vague categories," she held up one hand while the other filled a tea kettle, and with each word she lowered a claw until she had all three fingers raised, then, on the fourth, twitched an antenna, "Emitters, which control a matter beyond their body that they either create or borrow from the world around them; Transformers, whose bodies can become a different shape or material, even as extreme as becoming an animal or the like; Mutations, like myself, who are permanently different in appearance, but tend to have some manner of physical bonus because of it, like my wings; and Summoners, who call forth some manner of entity into reality to help them. I suspect that Primula is the fourth of those types of Quirkers."
Hachi set the tea kettle on her pristine stove-top, which, while clean, did not get very much use at all. She set it to a moderate temperature and began to fetch cups for Primula and, after a moment, another for Titiana. Could she eat? Did she eat? It was still polite to offer it. "While there aren't enough Quirkers in the world to have a wide amount of examples, most of us are either born with our Quirks, or they develop some time around four years of age. I was born as I am. But some humans in earlier generations--that means my parents, their parents, and so on--came into their Quirks in adulthood. It's unknown where they came from, or why some have them and others don't."
"They may be somewhat dull, but I have texts about this if it would interest you. I also have some more classic fantasy literature, though, which you may like."

There was something about having someone cook for her that made Primula feel a rather joyous sensation, and attentively the girl was watching Hachi move into the kitchen, her gaze for a moment settling on the delicious-looking apple the child spotted. Of course, when Hachi commented she didn't have much to cook with and might have needed to order from a nearby store Primula shook her head a few times in response. "Fruit and tea is fine~" Not only did she want to come over as a child who wasn't picky with her meals, but she also longed for the sensation of having a meal made for her, they did say that such meals were the most delicious.
Meanwhile as Hachi started her explanation as an answer to Titania's question, the fairy seemed quite intrigued by this knowledge. Emitters where those who controlled a type of matter that went beyond their bodily features. Creating or borrowing it from the world around them, which sounded almost like magic to her.
The idea of Transformers was even more intriguing to her, the idea of being able to alter their bodies to become different shape or material, and possibly even become an entirely different form, like an animal! That sounded amazing, unlike anything she had known in her own world.
The concept of mutations was easier to understand, people whose Quirks had permanently altered them biologically, and like she thought, Hachi soon explained she herself was in possession of a Mutation Quirk. Finally she went over the concept of 'Summoners', they who called forth some manner of entity, indeed very much like the Summoners of her world. so Primula was a summoner?
So most of those powers, those Quirks manifest at birth or during the first four years of their life. Hachi's offer to let her read some books about it earned a excited nod from the fairy who hovered over to Primula. "I'd be delighted to read them~ Although Prim might be better off with just the fantasy novels~"
Indeed, for while Primula had tried to listen in to the conversation, the complexity of it all made her feel like she was counting quirked sheep jumping in circles around fences. It seemed the concept of those 'Quirks' was still a bit difficult for her to understand. Why did some people have them, and others not? Then again, the delicious apple did do wonders to draw her attention back to the kitchen.
