Original application can be found at this link. Apologies to the person who picks this up, I actually... tried to shorten... Charlie's quirk section, since it's so long-winded. Minor adjustments take place in the "range/distance" section so that there are actual numbers, and added to benefits rather than weaknesses. Benefit #3 is added. I colored things with Charlie's speech color to signify additions beyond just copying-and-pasting. Type: Mutation Rank: E Description: Charlie is a mantis-shrimp person! From head-to-toe covered she is covered in an iridescent carapace (spare a few soft spots). The main benefits she reaps from her mutation is her armored shell, her shockwave punches and breathing underwater. The downsides to her mutation include a mild speech impediment, and being stuck as a prawn 24-7. A side-effect of this is, like many deep-sea creatures, Charlie bioluminesces (only apparent to the average human when it’s dark). The pores in her carapace exude a faint blue light. This is not, however, a surefire indicator—she may brighten in other extreme emotions (beyond anger or fear, such as excitement, delight, arousal… etc.) Benefits - Exoskeleton: Charlie is covered head-to-toe in a carapace (shell), which has durability comparable to stone.
- Shockwave Punches: If Charlie throws a punch in a moment of distress, the mechanics of this motion will trigger a shockwave that radiates from her fist with a loud "kra-KOOM!". Even if one is outside of the blast radius, the resulting sound is enough to send any bystander (Charlie included) reeling. Anything caught in that conical blast radius will be affected, the severity of the effect determined by how close the target is to her fully extended fist. The effects are as follows:

- Underwater Adaptations: Like the sea creatures she hearkens from, Charlotte is able to breathe underwater! The soft part of her neck is actually gills, which filter out any impurities in the water, and enable her to breathe regardless of the body of water. She also has a second set of eyelids that enable her to see underwater.
Exhaustion and Weakness:- Exoskeleton: Repeatedly striking the same area will wear it down (just like if you chisel away at a stone, eventually it will crack). Charlie also has soft spots, at her joints, with the same durability as human skin-- these areas include the palms of her hands, the bottoms of her feet, her mouth (when opened), throat, eyes, the hollow of her elbows, the back of her knees, and under the arms. There are also areas where her chitin is very thin, such as her face and her chitin.
- Shockwave Punches: Charlie can only punch at full power, and is limited to one punch per arm per day. Utilizing explosive punches messes with Charlie's equilibrium and hearing, and can make her dizzy and nauseous. Another unfortunate side-effect is that shockwave-punching a solid object can cause damage to Charlie's shell. Punching something soft and squishy, such as a person, gives her joint pain. Punching something rigid, like a building, can crack her carapace. As such, Charlie tries to shadow-box (without actually hitting anything). She will always be stiff afterwards anyways, but less so than if she actually makes contact.
- Underwater Adaptations: The transition from water-to-air can be pretty disgusting to a bystander, since Charlie has to cough all of the water out of her lungs. Additionally, if Charlie dives deep, she has to take time to depressurize so that she doesn't accidentally rupture her ear canal.

SPECIALIST ABILITIES Enhanced Eyesight Rank: F Effect: Much like her animal counterparts, Charlie has eyesight greater than that of your average human. She can see clearly in low-light or no-light situations. The downside of this is she's more susceptible to sudden flashes of light, and she gets eyestrain and subsequent headaches more easily.
Deft Hands Rank: F Effect: Charlie’s constant tinkering with technology has given her fine motor skills uncharacteristic of someone with hands as big as hers. This not only applies to inventing and tweaking devices, but day-to-day tasks, crafting, et cetera.

Just a quick change - please edit out the part of 10-25% of fatalities, although it is just flavor, it could be misleading for something that is usually left situational/not necessarily having a chance to be lethal always, so removal of it would be appreciated!
Once that's done, resubmit and this will be ready for assistant approval!

I have 546 exp right now. I am (finally) upgrading Charlie's Quirk from E to D (Cost 400 EXP). I added descriptors to each benefit, and highlighted any changes I made for leveling in teal. Additionally, I would like to add a Regeneration ability (Cost 100), listed at the bottom. This should leave Charlie with 46 exp. Thank you very much. A'ight, so, quirk upgrade:

Regeneration... goes in Combat I guess since it's Quirk-Related? I forget... Regeneration Rank: F Effect: Over the course of 4 turns, Charlie can heal minor damage to her chitin.
