all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ With all these performances, he one from Elise and Kenshin hit her the most. The love declaration that Elise gave her and jumping of the stage or what did she do to be with Tetsuko made her jealous.. Jealous of teenagers. She felt ridiculous. She took a deep breath and tried to get off the bar stool without too much effort. It was a bit stupid to have gone and sat on this, it did hurt her back a little, which was not surprising but she was okay, she was tired and she still considered to leave but she had not talked to Delta yet and thus she would take a breather. She supported herself in any way she could, her legs felt week and she was tired, that also did not help that she barely slept and ate nowadays but she did not think about that right now, she only thought about getting fresh air, when she got outside she thought some more, the only thought in her mind was that she should leave for tonight but that it wouldn't be fair to Miku, she had promised weeks ago that she would come and she had not seen the girl yet and she did not want to have Haruuhi tell Miku that she was there but gone or not spotted when her performance would come around. So she had to stay, she would avoid G but he was avoiding her, so that worked out fine. She found a chari outside,w hich was great and went to sit on there, she was okay with having a back to lean against on this chair and to take a deep breath, sitting away from the smokers. She wanted to cry again but being outside, in the view of other people, people she did not know, she did not, it was easier. She had just so much to think about and she did not want to. What would she say, what would she think, should she say anything, she stared at her phone, the notes no longer visible but a chat conversation where the symbols of showing that the other received it were off. He did not read it. He did not respond. It was okay like this, she just needed time and would get over it, she did not know how yet but she wasn't sure how this whole duo-thing would work. One day, over a few months, time would tell. She would stop falling.

Well her chat was G was definitely... something else. He was here for Miku first and foremost, and yet Haruuhi had been pretty harsh with him as she confronted him about this breakup with Hana. There was one major thing she had gotten out of that conversation though and that was that G still loved Hana, he was just scared... he'd screwed up and he knew it... but Haruuhi wasn't about to let Hanako off of the hook either. She was just as much at fault with this whole thing as he was, and she needed the same talking too.
"Why am I the one acting like the adult here... jeese..." Haruuhi thought to herself, a sigh escaping her lips as she had gotten up and began searching for Hanako within the Fourth Corner. When she couldn't find her though, she began to worry that Hanako had just decided to leave after first seeing her. Crap... that meant she was going to have to track her down somehow wasn't she? Well... she couldn't do much within the building as that would just end up giving her a MASSIVE headache what with all the equipment and cell phones giving off radio signals. It really sucked but she'd started getting used to bouncing the signals away from her.
She decided she should probably just step outside for a moment, hoping that the fresh air would help her focus her quirk. She had Hanako's phone number in her cell, so surely if she tried to follow a series of those signals, she could find her right? It would be tough pending how far she went but it was worth a shot...
As she walked outside and pulled out her cellphone, Haruuhi released the hold on her quirk, letting the swarm of wireless data course into her which caused her to groan lightly as it hit her all at once. She started to push away the signals she didn't need, and as she put Hana's number into her phone and typed in a quick "Hey", she immediately felt the wireless ping nearby. That told her that Hanako hadn't left at all and was still really close.
She would follow that signal, tracking it until she finally found Hanako sitting back in a chair, looking just overall sad. She walked up to her, grabbing another chair on her way over and then set it down at an angle next to Hanako, then perched herself into it. She would lean forward, resting her arms against her legs as she looked over at the older women.
"Hey Hana, whatcha doing out here?" She asked her curiously, starting off the conversation much more gently than she had with G. While she was going to try and set things right, she felt G needed the more aggressive approach, while Hana required some form of tact.

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She felt like after the song Elise played for Tetsuko, that she was lost in a world where she did not understand any of her feelings. What was it that she did feel and what was she doing with that? Why would she, no tht was't the right start of the question. She did see him, their eyes met, he waved at her and she had looked away, she had not been able to move to wave back, it wasn't fair, she had texted him, he had not replied but he did wave at her, what would she think, she had not wanted for him to see the tears on her face. If matters were not worse enough, she looked up in surprise when Haruuhi showed up at her side, having found another chair to sit on outside and enjoy the space and air that the night of Tokyo could offer to the two of them, it was so crowded inside, good for Delta but it did not make the writer any happier. She stared at the girl not entirely sure how to react yet. She had thought horrible thoughts, not about Haruuhi, absolutely not, but she would not be able to share them with the child because no one would forgive her. "I-I needed fresh air." Fresh air in Tokyo City, get out Hanako. But on the other hand it was true that she needed a breather, she could use a good drink or some other stress relieving factors too but the problem was that those at the moment were not within her reach and it would take a while more before they were. "How are you doing?" It felt so bad to ask, she wished that she was there when she would be home for the weekend or anything really but she wasn't because she stood up and left. She had still not even gone home to pack up more, no to his home, house, words. She felt like puking as the wave of nausea hit her when she considered these thoughts. It felt so wrong to say so.

"Yeah I get that, it was really starting to smell like really bad B.O in there" Haruuhi stated casually as she watched Hanako tense up. Oh boy did she ever recognize those signs... this was bothering her a lot, that much might as well be written on her face... but there was no doubt a million other things bothering her, and Haruuhi couldn't be as blunt with Hanako as she had been with G. This wasn't going to be easy for either of them, but she really had to try.
"I'm doing fine, you're the one who isn't. I heard a bit of what's going on from Miku, but I wanted to see how you were doing." She started off with, biting her tongue harshly as she wanted to roll right into the fact that she spoke with G and thought they were both idiots. Slow and steady, she couldn't rush this conversation, and she couldn't rush to the point that she wanted to get too... not that she wanted to, it was going to be stupidly embarrassing coming from her.
<Robodog you better be keeping tabs on all of this...> Haruuhi messaged the small dog through her quirk. Robodog wasn't on her person, having let him lose within the Fourth Corner to make his way around like a silent ninja dog! his memory banks weren't as large as when he was full sized, but he was still managing to record quite a bit of video from various important places.

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ There was so much going on and so much not happening that it was like a lost cause. The dancing of the tango yet not starting, no swirling and sweeping, just walking away. Missing the catch, just falling. There wasn't much to say about it yet she felt so tense, as if she was lying, to herself, to Haruuhi, to the whole world but she was not. She simply did not understand what she had to think, what she did feel and so on. There was this whole unknown mystery that made her want to cry and cry again but that did not brought an answer and that's what she hated about herself. She was surprised by the forward words of the girl or more that she cared. Which felt even worse that she thought that. She did not think that Haruuhi was a rude child or emotionless or anything that way but if she would have to make a choice she would pick her family and Hanako did not blame her. She simply no longer belonged there. "I am holding up." She gave a small and wry smile, more she could not muster up. She was empty, broken and hurt and she did not know who actually made the wounds anymore. There were no other words, Haruuhi was here for Miku, she knew that, she probably came with G, no wait she had seen her come and enter alone, Hanako did not know what to think, she had spotted G, pulling Haruuhi in his arms and she had lost sight of him, she had turned her face away as she was crying, love songs, knowing Tetsuko and Elise. She wished she was a teenager where after a breakup your parents would tell you "Don't worry, you are young, the whole world is waiting for you." Instead she would turn twenty-six in about a month, that still wasn't that old but how many people were waiting for a woman with a child in the future. How many people were waiting for a woman who could not make a decision. Scars that would not fade with time, not this time.

'I am holding up' The look that must of been on Haruuhi's face right now was one that her family had probably not seen up to this point. It was a mix of pure disbelief mixed with a look that said she knew that Hanako was lying to her. She sucked in a deep breath, standing up and moving her chair now so that she was face to face with Hanako. Before sitting back down again however, she raised her hand and promptly landed a light karate chop to the woman's head. A move that would basically force Hanako to look at her and focus on what she was going to say.
"You're lying. the look in your eyes is the same look I had in mine." She stated flatly as she lifted the sleeve of her blazer, exposing the horribly scarred lightning bolt on her forearm for Hanako to see it. Haruuhi's eyes however never left Hana's. She hated that no matter how much she's mutilated her own arm, that damn scar was still visible... she hated it more than anything, and was just waiting on G to get that tattoo to cover it up. However, here she was holding it out for Hana to see.
"The only difference is that I wasn't dying of a broken heart. Look... Hana... normally I'm a lot more quiet and reserved... I'm normally too scared of my own damn shadow to speak up about anything... but this is something I need to speak up for. I know what it's like to be in the mental state your in... to feel used and manipulated by someone you trust. I know what it's like to get hurt like this. You can't tell me that you're okay or holding up and expect me to believe that." Haruuhi said sincerely as she then pulled the sleeve back over the scar promptly to hide it away from any on lookers. She kept her voice low enough, though firm so that no one would stop by and peek into what they were discussing.
"I'm going to speak my mind... and I'm sorry if any of this hurts but I... I need you to hear it from me okay?" She paused just long enough to give Hanako a moment to respond before she would move into the very blunt beginning of her speech.
"You're an idiot. You, and dad, are both the biggest idiots I know right now. Dad loves you so much... more than I've ever seen anyone else love another person. He turns into this total dork whenever you're around and you can just tell. Now, that doesn't excuse him from what he did. Absolutely not. What he did was more than awful. He's a dick, and you deserve to kick his ass for it, BUT, you're still an idiot too. It takes two to tango and make a baby, and you knew that's what he wanted just as badly as how much he wants you. I KNOW that you love G too... I can see how comfortable you get around him, how totally infatuated you get when he's around... I feel like that infatuation with him is why you let your guard down.
I guess what I'm saying is... you both screwed up. You both screwed up really bad but regardless of that you still love each other right? So then WHY are you two being big babies about it? People make mistakes all the time... some mistakes are worse than others but if you love each other through it and grow from it... it shouldn't matter right?
Growing up... I would have done ANYTHING for the love you two have for each other... and well... now that I have a family, I'm going to do anything to keep it together so... uhm..." Haruuhi paused finally, her face turning several shades of red, so much so that her face started to match the color of her hair. She pushed back the chair she had moved just moments ago, and very awkwardly stood down on one knee, taking Hanako's hand in her own as she looked up at the older woman.
"Hana... please talk to G. Please give each other another chance. I uhm... uh... Mom... please marry dad..." Her head felt like it was going to explode at that one. Crap... she came out with it too soon! she should of waited to hear her answer to calling her an idiot first... yeah she should of just waited and assessed things further! but she just got so heated over the situation that everything just rolled off the tip of her tongue! She wanted to all of a sudden cry as panic took over. What if she just managed to scare her off. CRAP.

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Adults were all the same were they not? At one point you became one, not because you became older or because you got a job or anything but by using the same words. Adults were in an conspiracy that was not told to anyone, it was just there, maybe in the human DNA. Adults were forbidden to show the tears, everyone would judge and call it childish, hence the words: I am holding up. I am okay, I am fine, nothing is wrong.
Nothing.
Her eyes wandered and did not see, focus on the here and now was difficult when your mind tried to figure out so much. She felt weak, she felt tired, she felt empty all at the same time. She blinked a few times rapidly by the strange motion Haruuhi had performed and she met the green eyes of the young girl. Of course she was lying, the world told her she had to. Her eyes switched from Haruuhi's green to the scar on her wrist with the motion she made before turning back to the girl and lowering her eyes, she showed that she understood what she said with that one look, but that did not change the outcome. She bit the side of her lowerlip when Haruuhi continued, she knew what she felt even if she did not feel like dying of a broken heart, but the words the girl used were exactly what she felt except that Haruu missed that Hanako went crazy from her own indecisiveness.
She finally dared to look up again and took a deep breath when the girl continued to say that she was going to continue to speak her mind. You mean that this wasn't everything she had to say yet? She swallowed, the lump in her throat made it more difficult but the woman had decided to try and not to cry, her eyes were already teary but she would try and listen, so she gave a nod. She raised her eyebrow though when Haruuhi started this second speech with calling her an idiot. If she wasn't dying of her own heartbreaking and craziness, she would maybe have find it funny. Carefully and considerate as she started with wanting Hana to admit that she wasn't fine at all to jump into the strong words, there were of course worse words but it was a funny contrast.
The woman however did not do such a thing, did not consider it much, she simply stared at the child and listened. She felt the flutters in her stomach and her heart racing with the next words that followed, Dad loves you so much.
No. Why was her brain being unreasonable, why was her heart being unreasonable.
After that and even if there was this internal struggle in the writer, she simply looked at Haruuhi and she could not stop the tear leaving her left eye as the girl continued to speak. Yes, it wasn't fair. Her face simply fell with the last words Haruuhi uttered to her.
Mom... please marry dad...
Two big blue orbs stared at the girl before after a few seconds the expression on her face softened and she pulled her closer, moved the hair from her face and cupped her chin in her hand. "I love you, I love your sister and I love your father. I only can't yet. As much as I love him, I need to sort out what I think, what I want, how I want it, if I do not, Haruuhi my dear, I would only hurt him more, I know it, I have seen it, words I speak without thinking, I don't want to do that to him." She took another deep breath, "I am not sure if he understands or if I am too late, I mean did he not say that to you? He doesn't reply to my texts, I am sure, I already ruined it." If she could stop being obsessed with wondering what he thought, that would be amazing, but she could not which made it why she still had not made a decision. "I don't know what I feel, betrayal maybe from myself to him, from him to me. I wish I could just forget but I can't." The facts were also rubbing in her nose every other second.

Haruuhi’s face was now as red as her hair as the girl blushed from ear to ear, having gotten down much like G would have when he first proposed to Hana. This was so damn embarrassing and she fully expected Hana to break out into laughter… Maybe that would be a good thing to lighten the mood some but damn she couldn’t take much more embarrassment… It seemed like she was wrong though as Hanako’s face was gentle and kind, a tear falling from her eye as she leaned towards Haruuhi and cupped her face gently in her hands, making it impossible to look away from her.
THIS MADE EVEN LESS SENSE TO HER. You love him, he loves you. Isn’t that all it takes? WHY IS THIS SO COMPLICATED!? Haruuhi mentally growled in aggravation as Hana made sure to tell her that she loved all of them, and didn’t even protest to Haruu calling her mom. Haruuhi honestly didn’t get any of this… why were they being so stubborn? And over text at that! She couldn’t help the subconscious effort put into her quirk as she immediately snooped through Hanako’s phones, silently reading off the last few texts between her and G. She was waiting for G to text back but G hadn’t? It looked like the text was read so…
‘I’mma kill him…’ Haruuhi thought to herself as she wasn’t able to see just who it was that had opened the message, but from what she could tell it had been read! And G had told her that Hana hadn’t texted HIM. Had he really just LIED to her to get her off his back? REALLY?!
The blush on her cheeks seemed to shift from her face to her ears as she felt this anger at the misunderstanding that was brewing, but tried to keep a straight face as Hanako was still holding onto her. She hesitantly reached up to Hana’s hand and gently held onto them, pulling them away from her face as she forced up a smile to her lips. On one hand, she was happy to hear that Hanako cared for them, on the other she was pissed off at these stupid adults she’d picked to be her parents.
“I don’t understand… everything sounds perfect right… no matter what happened you both love each other, and Miku and I are both in this too… it just feels like everything should be okay you know? I don’t get it… if it’s just a text it seems silly to hold everything up just for that you know? What if it opened on accident somehow or something? I know that he is waiting on YOU, and now you’re waiting on HIM? I just… something isn’t right and it just feels wrong…” She really didn’t understand, and all of a sudden she really reflected the fact that she was only 16 years old. 16 years and very, very lost in a love affair she didn’t understand at all...

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ It wasn't fair that Haruuhi seemed to carry the weight of the two of them. "Adults don't know what they are doing either." She said the girl whose face was bright red and she lowered her hands and letting go of her face, holding on to Haruuhi's hands as the girl did so. What should she say? What should she do because it wasn't only waiting for G's text it was so, so much more. She listened to the words in her head, what she had said to Bones, what she had said to Meiko. It was bad. And not only that, she really needed to consider what she thought and if she did not, than she would be able to hurt him with words she did not want to tell.
She felt so bad for saying all this and yet not saying anything. She did not know an answer yet and she was too tired, lack of food, lack of sleep to actually come up with an answer. "But it's not okay, what he did, what I said, it's not okay dear. And I need to figure out what I think about this, I said words I should not have and we fought again, I can't keep doing that if I do not figure out where I stand. If I do not know if I am ready for forgiveness to say it like that as if it's black and white. than I would never be able to forgive him and I don't want that. I want to know what I want and be able to be with him. I asked him to talk to me, I send him a second message a few days later, Haruuhi if your fath- wait what did you say?" He was waiting on her to text him? But she already did send one two times even!
What was he waiting for? She had no idea, she did not know what to consider, how the.. why did they go so bad... weren't they meant to be? Was this going to work out or did they ruin it for the both of them out of being stubborn and ridiculous and... "I promise that if it's not too late, I will make up my mind on where I stand and if-if G wants me back, I will, I don't want to hurt him because I know I will if I just try to see as if it did not happen." Because it did and not only that.

“You guys are so complicated…” She said finally with a heavy sigh as she stood back up and brought her chair forward once more, sitting in it so that she was still sitting in front of Hanako. She listened to what she had to say but none of it made sense to her. Forgive herself? Forgive herself for what exactly? She knew that G fucked up and sure Hanako might of reacted like an idiot but it was nothing that serious… They both wanted one another so why was this so hard.
“You’re both hurting apart way more than when you were together… that’s… that’s why I would get so jealous… you’re always happy with him you know? Now you’re both just sad messes… and dad… he pouts, he pouted! He’s actually being SUCH a big baby you know! So I really don’t understand…” She said with a heavy sigh as she fidgeted in her seat before standing up again then moving up towards Hanako again and hugging her tightly. For a moment she didn’t say anything, wanting her hug to speak for itself before she opened her mouth.
“I choose you, too…” She muttered more to herself than to Hana as she hugged her. Back when G adopted her, she told G “I chose you” as a way to dictate the fact that she wasn’t being forced into a new family. This was a family of her choosing, and while at first she wanted nothing to do with Hanako, she’d definitely gotten used to having the woman around, and found that she loved her just as much as she loved G and Miku. So now, she also chose Hana to be part of her family… and like hell she wasn’t going to fight to keep her family together.
“I promise I’ll kick dad’s ass extra hard until he comes around okay? For now though… I think i’m going to go home… you should come with me… you look really tired…”

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Yes they were, they were complicated from the moment they said yes to this, they were complicated from the moment she stepped into his life, when he carried her to the bed, she was complicated the moment she told herself not to flirt with him yet basically could not stop touching him, holding his hand, touching his shoulder, upper arm, everything was complicated, so she said nothing. She only looked at her hands, placed in her lap as she listened to the words that Haruuhi told her, sad messes. Yes she made the most ridiculous thoughts without a reasonable voice next to her that told her that it was okay to panic and that would make her stop panic, she would giggle if she was in the mood when she remembered how he asked her to marry him and she wanted to take the ring but it was not there, for obvious reasons and she was thus surprised that Haruuhi hugged her. Because the girl hugged her, even as she whispered, Hanako could hear Haruuhi her words and her eyes turned bigger. Oh shit. No, no, no no, now wasn't the right time, she was a horrible human being, horrible future mother or mother, Miku called her mother, right, oh no how could she... Nooo Haruuhi deserved so much better. She cried but tried to silent the sobs and only show the tears."I can't, even if I am tired, I promised Miku I would be here, so I will stay for a bit more." Just her luck that Miku was obviously last. She wanted to say so much but her lips did not carry the words and actually, that might be a good thing. "You will be fine Haruuhi, I will survive if your father doesn't want to speak to me again." After all, who was the one that handed in that ring again?
